the worst customer service I have ever recieved
Never buy furniture from this store, their customer service leaves much to be desired. This is the first and last time I will ever frequent their establishment. You would definitely be better off going to any other furniture store, Don't bother calling their corporate office for help, they never return phone calls and even think you have all the time in the world by placing you on hold for over half an hour.
We bought a rocker from lanes they fixed it once they after we hassled them they finally fixed it by giving us store credit haha we got another one a different one were told then when we had a problem with that one that my husband was too fat to use their furnature... Oh and by the way most of the management in the brandon store were fat too ... I really liked kanes at first after that we won't buy anything else from them guess if they had made good on their crapy furnature the 6,000 we just spent at Ashley's would of been spent there and if people are too fat to sit in their furniture then the specks should say it
No one wants to return calls 3 weeks to get someone to look at furniture and order parts. told it could take 12 weeks or longer to get parts.this is bull---- 4 months for warranty.
So finally got call back from manager after two calls to be told they are not going to do anything about my furniture...also noticed they did post my original complaint on here...so i guess they pick and choose what complaints we see..I wonder how many others there are with bad reviews that we dont see...DO NOT PAY FROM THIS COMPSNY their furniture is not good quality..you pay a lot thinking you are getting top of the line but what a joke my rating would -stars but thats not an option
In April 2013 we bought 2 $700.00 recliners. Was told they were top grain leather. Even the repair man when he came said it was top grain leather. The problem is the dark brown color is coming off the head rest in small round spots. Kanes said the warranty was voided because we used a leather conditioner on it. The other chair is ok. The chairs have only been in our home since May 2013 because it took a month for them to get the chairs.
So manager that was suppose to call me,back never did so I called first thing this morning and she is a traveling manager so I was unable to each her....the receptionist was extremely rude and hung up me. So not only is there furniture awful so is there customer service.
I bought the bedroom set and a dining room table at Clearwater location. The order was a complete mess. Some of the items were added to my bill without my approval (I just received the voicemail). But most importantly, they overcharged but won't give me any refund. One of the "customer service" associates, Shelinda, was very rude, interrupted every word, and said that there was no mistake. The manager was staring at the computer, trying to tell me something that was completely irrelevant to my issue, and wouldn't help me either. Customer service associates need to understand that their job is to serve the customers, not to team up against them. Extremely unprofessional, unknowledgeable, rude crooks. Don't ever buy anything from them!
The colonial store very bad manager and very bad costumer service there.Never again kanes for me....
The Kane's ocoee store is a bad store because the most patient employee that I love to go to order got fired and the other salespersons are impatient,nasty,ridiculous but the employee I'm talking about is a kind gentleman who was do wrong.Thank you.
Despite the fact that they advertise a "lifetime guarantee, there is no recourse from Kane's for customers who purchased defective merchandise, especially if they bought it "on sale." Management is not only unsympathetic, they are downright rude, offering no customer satisfaction whatsoever.
Bought a sectional from kanes and it turned out to be piece of junk. After no help from the store i contacted bbb. They got results fast. I was able to return item for store credit. Shipping on my new stuff was a joke because i kept being told different times. Never again will i deal with this store. Anybody else that is struggling with kanes i would strongly suggest contacting bbb.
They are horrible, They delivered half of my bedroom set without the other set and then when I called because they missed their 2ND schedule DROP OFF they acted like they had no idea what's going on. That's what I get when I asked and they said nothing is guaranteed but they will try.
Went to Savon in Port Charlotte (owned by Kanes) bought over
$1500of Merchandise, area rug was delivered and the color was not the same as the one we picked out. Called the store and was told there was not much they could do the rug we picked was the one delivered.
Called customer service and was given a tape, leave your number and we will get back to you. That was over 10 days ago still waiting.
Called back the store and was told they would take back the rug but we would have to pay a $45 dollar restocking fee. Brought back the rug and asked to speak to the manager and as I expected he was not available. Have been buying at that store for the past eight years,
I have had 3 sofas delivered and all 3 have been damaged.I am waiting for another one to be delivered on Saturday. I get the feeling when I call and complain about this problem that I am somewhat of a nusiance. Is it to much to ask for a new sofa to be NEW?????? Also I guess my time is valuable.
They owed me a refund and lied to me over and over and over and over. I called customer service and there is no one there. You have to leave a message and hope she calls you back. Yes only one customer service person that only returns calls left on her voice mail. Going to have to dispute my credit card and stand clear of this bad company. Wish I would have read the reviews and checked the BBB before I gave them my money.
I went to a local Kanes today to redeem my tickets for Muvico tickets and was disrespected by the lady working in the back of the stores desk. She said the new rule was a limit of four per household. There was no policy or anything listed on the door or at the desk. She was very rude and made me write people's name down on a piece of paper with addresses. I told her their was no policy a few days ago. I felt very disrespected.
Frustrated that everytime I walk into a Kanes to redeem my tickets for Muvico tickets, their policy changes. Today it was 1 per adult, my kids couldn't get their ticket and since the tickets we used had the original ticket owners name on them, they wouldn't issue us movie tickets. They don't have these policies posted anywhere to read. Bad advertising on their end to upset a long time customer that will no longer be a future customer after being treated that way.
We bought a couch and it is "peeling"-(Ocala store). We called and were told too bad. I wrote them and was told they would fix it and it would take 2 months- I just called and was told I'm out of the money and they would not be fixing the couch-- They still sell the same product, so why won't they fix it-go to Room to go or havertys
