Oil change

I had a great experience on 95th st in Oak lawn, IL. Bryan was extremely polite, explained everything in a way I understood. The workers even held the door open for my mom and I. I would come back to this Jiffy Lube again and I will refer everyone to it because of your worker Bryan. Thank you for making my oil change a breeze!

Beav-Hillsadale Store Portland OR

I have gone for years and now has worlds worst crew. I waited 45 minutes and left as they started a car that came in 10 minutes after me while my car still sat in the lane and they said nothing. Unbelievable.

had a oil change to day6/11/13 they drained the oil and changed the filter then they put oil back in as I watched they only put in 3 1/2 guarts of oil my service manual says it takes 4 and enough oil for the filter the manager says all nissans only take 3 1/2 quarts so be for i drove away ai checked the oil and sure enough it was low on oil

I should have done it myself

Jiffy lube stripped the threads on my oil pan so when I took it back to them to replace, they agreed to. After numerous visits over a 3 month period, many hours, and multiple unreturned calls I got an appointment set up to get the new pan put on. I went at 730 am so I'd be the first one there and wouldn't have to wait. It took them 4 1/2 hours to replace an oil pan when I could have done it in 30 minutes. Don't go to jiffy lube unless you like horrible service and have a full day to wait on them.

rip off!!

I went to Jiffy Lube in Kansas City,MO for a basic oil change cause I received a coupon of $15.00 off. The guys told me I needed synthetic oil. I didn't want oil it took so I figured they knew best and I agreed to it. When I got home I did research and found out my car doesn't need any special type of oil. So they charged me $20.00 too much than they should have. Do not use Jiffy Lube. If you're a women they will find a way to make you buy more services.

Rip off

I live in California and took my car to jiffy lube off watt in north highlands. Never agin will I take it there. My car was running fine before I took it there also a 59.99 oil changed ended up costing me 120 that said i needed new lights replaced. And when all done drove it home and it ran like crap. Then the next day went out to run to the store and my cars air conditioner was blowing out hot air and my car was over heating and I took it back to jiffy lube and thEy had to but coolant in the car witch was part of the oil change package. I don't even think they even did a oil change on my car. Cause it run like boop.

Leslie at Fenton Missouri store

I was returning back to my office from am emergency service call when I had the tread come off of my work van. I lemped the van to the Fenton jiffy lube store 15 minutes passed the closing hours of operation. Leslie was standing outside and heard the tread flopping against the van wheel well and with out hesitation she said that they were closed but she could not let me go without having it fixed. She went above and beyond her call of duty to provide customer satisfaction and being a business owner I know what customer satisfaction means to me and my business!! Kudos and you have a gem in Leslie!! Please make sure she is taken care of!!! Respectfully, Darryl

Customer

Oh though the customer service was good at the West Seattle store, the manager on duty 5/20/13 was so rude to his employees, I wanted to take him to the side and say word something, but felt like he would kick my ass if I did. He very mean and loud. I'm work in the construction trade, but if we had a guy like him working with us, we'd walk him to the door.

13 May 2013 my daughter took her 2009 Chevy Cobalt into the Jiffy Lube on North Oak in Gladstone, Missouri. Simply stated, an employee in this business took "advantage" of my daughter and her lack of knowledge in regards to selecting a brand/type of oil to be placed into her car. A typical oil change would be less than $40; however, the bill presented to her was for $80.47. In addition to changing her oil, she was informed that she needed a new air filter, transmission filter, gas filter... she declined all of these offers.

damage done by Jiffylube

I just bought a 98 F150 truck and it was running good, took it to Jiffylube for a radiator flush. Left there and my truck is pouring out water all over, took it to a mechanic and they said it was Jiffy lube's fault cuz they didn't decompress it before they took it off the machine. I tried to go to them and they refuse to help me and say it's my problem and there was something wrong with my truck. I use this truck to get back and forth to dialysis and for my lawn jobs I do on the side to help pay the bills, now I have to borrow a vehicle while still making payments on a truck I can't drive. Do not go to Jiffy lube in Kelso, wa.

faulty battery

i was sold a ''bad cell''' battery after installation of 1 1/2 months at jiffy l. tempe az. i am going thru huge hassles trying to get a refund/and any customer service regarding this situation. i paid good money - i am finding terrible customer service at the corp. office from jodie.

Don't Go To Jiffy Lube

I went to the Jiffy Lube in Elmhurst, IL. I did not have an oil leak when I arrived. I was told that the oil pan plug needed to be replaced...I fell for the upsell. The following morning oil was leaking all over the driveway. I went back to Jiffy Lube and they worked for over an hour to get the leak to stop. They told me that it was my aging oil pan and would need to get that replaced. Oh and by the way, they don't replace them, even through they caused the damage, because they aren't mechanics. After their shotty work I need to replace the oil pan for a total of $459.38. I was basically told it was my tough luck. I will pay the extra $10.00 for an oil change at the dealer.

Posting Reviews

I notice that you do not post the reviews that people send in if it is not as favorable as you would like it to be. In fact, you will post one that will say the exact opposite of what one may say that is critical. I want to state that Woodlawn Jiffy Lube try to get people to buy stuff they do not need for there car. The fact that they get over on youths is very distasteful. Help is needed in that office. In addition, your customer service line is never picked up.

Great Experience

I have been going to the Jiffy Lube in Woodlawn MD for over 5yrs now. The gentlemen working there are always cordial, nice and very helpful. They have always suggested things that need done on my car and show me why. No hidden scheme here. The waiting area is always clean and even the restroom. Amazing since all men work there, sorry about that guys but you know what I mean. They have performed the work to perfection. I think these men that work there should be commended for a job well done. signed: Very happy customer !!!!

go somewhere else

the overly aggressive tech snapped off my radiator overflow cap, when they tried to replace the overflow, they cracked the radiator. they refuse to pay dealer fees please lord help them to get it right.dealers may be expensive but careless techs are more expensive. do not go to jiffy lube, you WILL regret it

Massive Rip Off

My wife took her car in for a basic oil change to the Jiffy Lube #62 in Dunwoody, GA on 4/16/13. These con men charged her $44.00 for a $20.00 oil change, $61.00 for a $12.00 Cabin Air Filter and $27.00 for a $9.00 Air Filter. What's more pitiful, is Jiffy Lube Corporate is FULLY aware of these deceptive practices, and appears, due to their lack of involvement to condone their franchises actions. If you don’t want to be scammed, go to Sears, Walmart or anywhere else. Also keep in mind ANY positive reviews for this company, is more than likely from an employee of the company.

Unskilled Techs

An enginge flush was perfformed on my Yukon on 3/23/13 A week & half later my driveway was showing signs of small amounts of radiator fluid. My wife payed a visit to Jiffy Lube, told the Techs about the problem. She basicly got turned down & told me they couldn't do anything. No inspections was perform to point out the problem. All the Tech did was top off the reservoir with fluid. & now my Yukon is leaking fluid like no tomorrow. Now I got to see a REAL SKILLED TECH & have them point out the probmlem. It may be my water pump. My Yukon was perfectly fine before they performed an eningine flush. I called Jiffy headquaters & filed a claim, & now I wait for results from Headquaters. By the way this Jiffy station #3447 is located in Palmdale. I don't recomed anyone for Jiffy's services.

Rippoff

Went to the Jiffy Lube on Okeechobee Blvd in West Palm Beach FL. They told me my battery needed to be replaced. They didn't know that it was less than 9 months old and had been checked recently and was in perfect condition! DO NOT GO TO JIFFY LUBE!!!!!

missing oil drain plug

i took my car to the jiffy lube in clarksville on 41A by the mcdonalds, they changed my oil and told me that my oil was leaking in several places. they finished changing my oil and i drove my car home. a few days later i was going to the store for x mas presents and on the way home the engine locked up leaving me stranded. i have been putting up with jiffy lube wanting me to have engine torn down so they could look at the inside. after the song and dance was over jiffy lube says that there is no evidence that the missing drain plug was the cause for the engine failure!!! this is my advice... dont ever take your car to jiffy lube they rip people off. there are 214 comments on this page and almost none of them are good.

Scam artists and thieves

My 19 year old daughter took her car in, by herself, to Jiffy Scam #3005, in Henderson, NV. The only thing she wanted was a basic oil change on a 4 cylinder Hyundai, she also had a 50% off coupon for the service. With the coupon, she shouldn’t have been charged any more than $20. Instead she was conned into a tire rotation, which they told her would be free, and an “oil upgrade” (they told her this was needed because it had over 75K miles). Her total bill was $81.97. They did take off $30, presumably for her 50% off coupon, which brought her bill down to 54.17. $55 for an oil change that shouldn’t have cost more than $20. I originally asked her to tell me when the mileage on her car reached a certain amount and we would take her car in together. Instead she wanted to show us that she could take care of it on her own and Jiffy Lube scams her. Does Jiffy Lube corporate condone scamming and stealing from young, inexperienced kids?
