We drive to Fort Myers to purchase our ham. Horace, the line manager, is fantastic, knows his hams, and always helps us select the best!

My son has always loved Honey Baked Ham, so we spend the extra money for one every Easter. This year he is living in a different city and was going to be alone for the holiday (we didn't know until Saturday a.m.). I called the Honey Baked Ham store in his city and asked if I could pay for the ham and then he could pick it up on his way home from work. They said no. :o( She said they were not taking reservations that it is first come, first serve. I told her it isn't really a reservation that it's a sale because the item would be paid for up front, but no deal. He ate a sandwich home alone instead. We'll definitely be starting a new tradition that doesn't include a grossly over priced ham and poor customer service.

I PURCHASED A HAM ON FEBRUARY 07,2012 USING MY DEBIT/CREDIT CARD--THEY POSTED THE CHARGE ON FEBRUARY 09, 2012 CHECKED MY BANK ACCOUNT TODAY MARCH 27,2012 AND FOUND THEY HAD "RE-CHARGED" THE SAME PURCHASE A "SECOND TIME"---ON MARCH 21,2012 CALLED MY BANK-THEY ARE TAKING CARE OF IT. AFTER A LONG TIME SPENT ON PHONE--DIFFERENT NUMBERS. THEN CALLED THE STORE WHERE THE PURCHASE WAS MADE IN FALLS CHURCH,VA. WAS TOLD THEY HAD A COMPUTER ERROR. NO APOLOGIES!

I was in need of a super sandwich from the honeybaked store For superbowl Sunday 2/5 and went in on a Saturday not knowing that they are closed on Sunday. I asked if there was any way I could get one of these sandwiches by end of day. Gentleman comes out of the back hearing my dilemma, and stated that he could have one ready by 3pm, at this time it is 12:30pm, so I was hungry and decided to eat a sandwich there at the location. Before I was done eating my sandwich they had my super sandwich ready for me to take home. It was be far the best experience that I have ever had at this store (Florence, KY - Mall Rd.) Not that the customer service is not always good, but this time they went above and beyong customer service. THANKS SO MUCH. SANDWICH WAS EXECELENT!!!

To everyone complaining of honeybaked hams prices, customer service, and reservations listen to me. I currently left honeybaked about 6 months ago i will not disclose my location but i was the store manager for 2 years before leaving. you are all correct the reservations are just a lie, we do that to make sure we can ensure we have enough hams in stock for the set dates. so say u order a ham for 12-24 your reservation number will be 24-? depending on the size of your ham it will either be 24-1, 24-2, 24-3. Honeybaked does not gurantee you any specific size ham they reserve a "weight class" so it could be a 7-8.9lb ham which u will be forced to get the most expensive one in your weight class. there is no difference in reserving your order or just walking in. To be honest if anyone actually seen how the hams were handled at my store youd never consider eating at honeybaked ever again. the back of house which is where we unwrap, glaze, weigh and wrap the hams are filthy. the hams have been dropped, touched with bare hands, and sometimes eaten off of. in order to make more money at my store location the GM would make us push on the scale while the ham was on it so it would come out more expensive due to the high weight. so if you got an 8lb ham you really got a 6.5lb ham and just got screwed out of extra money and theres no way of you knowing, except now. so beware of honeybaked, i ultimately left due to the way that business is being ran. Its wrong and unfair to the working class people who are just trying to have a nice meal. oh and by the way we pay 1.50 a pound and the customers pay 10+ per pound, talk about a rip off. go to publix and get real meat thats worth the price and save the headache.

I'm on disability but figured once a year I would actually enjoy a wonderful ham. I drove 200 miles round trip to the one closest near me which is in Northridge, CA. I live in the Mojave desert area. I went on 12/28 and the counter was very busy with tickets - I don't see so well and when the girl ran my ticket I signed it and that was that. Of course, the ham was great. Today 12/7, I got my card statement and realized I got someone else's ticket for over $88! On fixed income, wouldn't spend $88 on a ham and also had a reservation of which the girl couldn't find. I know it was not over 8 lbs - closer to 7 1/2 which she said was the smallest they have. I know it's $7 a pound so do the math. I will have to wait 2 months for this issue to be resolved unless Honey Baked sends me the $33.00 refund and to do that - they'll have to look up their copy of my charge ticket from 12/28. Needless to say, I'm not holding my breath...if everything gets settled, of course I'll write a good comment - right now I'm just stressed - can't afford to lose $3.33 let alone over $33.00. It was either someone else's ticket or FRAUD - which I doubt. The wrong ticket I can believe - but it's a mistake that should be corrected. I don't see so well - and didn't of course save the receipt - well - guess that's a New Year's resolution I'm going to have to keep - RECEIPTS OF EVERYTHING including cash purchases. What a way to start the new year and if this doesn't get fixed, it's Prime Rib from now on at Stater Bros.

Concord CA.Location. Yesterday I went there to ask if they have the smallest size ham. They were out of it so the lady said call tomorrow and I can make reservation..And so I called, and waited for 20 minutes!!!!! A lot of interruption during my conversation with DANIEL EARNY..HE IS SO RUDE!!!!!! VERY VERY VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!! and then he said I cannot make reservation.. Poor management!!!! Zero star rate!!!

I visited your Park Avenue store in Memphis, TN These people have got to be the rudest, disrespectful idiots I have ever seen. I have frequented this store for several years the last young lady that worked there, Debbie, was the best customer service person I had ever met. She was polite, kind, and helped me to the fullest. They told me she no longer works there the new girl that replaced her Angela belongs at your local corner store. No manners, very rude such a filthy mouth and a racist on top of that. your manager is the same way y ou need to look at your management what you had a year ago worked what you have now well i wont be back and i have told my church friends my nursing home friends and everybody i can tell how HORRIBLE this place has become

Do not count on using your coupons. It is a joke. Terrible customer service. On the phone I could not get a price for my order. When I picked up the order and gave the coupon to cashier he refused to accept it. Claimed that it was discounted already. Couple of workers laughed and said that the coupon was only to get customers in and really have no value. I just tried to call the home office... suprise!!!! either was disconnected or no response. My next stop is at BBB.

You have truly lost yet another loyal customer. Although I enjoy your product, I will NEVER buy one again. What is the point to reserving a ham ahead of time only to have to wait for 2 hours in freezing cold weather along with those who did not reserve one? I am a single father of 2 small children 5 and 18months and had to leave them in the car for almost 2 hours to wait for a ham I reserved. Only to finally give up and not get the ham. Reserving your product is a scam and you should be ashamed to do business this way. Not only are your stores short staffed during the holidays, you should at least have a separate line for those with reserved products.

I feel totally scammed. Okay... Getting a confirmation number at Honey Baked Ham is a flat out LIE!! It apparently doesn't mean anything. Making a "so-called" reservation is a LIE!! I am so frustrated and disappointed. They never tell you that you may not get what you called ahead to reserve and then when you get there and they don't have it... they conveniently have a much larger and more expensive ham available for purchase but not at the same price you were quoted over the phone!! They could have at least offered the larger ham at the price I was quoted instead of trying to convence me that I was getting a good deal from a slightly discounted larger ham that I didn't order nor do I need. I was just floored at the lack of understanding and service. Too busy for good business practices I suppose!! Plenty of other unsuspecting customers to disappoint that will just deal with it. This time of year is all about the budget and this just created headaches for me and my family's dinner plans. I decided to tell them NO THANKS!! You can try that scam on someone else... I don't buy it! I purchased a perfect honey glazed ham somewhere else for less money... totally satisfied!! Honey Baked Ham is overrated JUNK... no longer a customer!!!! Not that anyone affliated with the company will really care...

Ordered a sliced meat and cheese tray 4 days ahead of time at my local Santa Clarita, CA location. The guy taking the order said they do not give copies of the order form or receipts or anything, just give your name when you come in to pick up. They even asked me which day and time I'd be picking up. When I got there today at the correct time, I waited in line and then was told they did not have my platter made, that someone had made the wrong platter. They told me to wait 10 minutes. After 10 min I had to ask someone to go in the back to check on my order. When it came out, it was still wrong. I decided to take it anyway because I needed SOMETHING to feed my family for hte holiday and not enough time to go elsewhere. I had to badger them to reduce the price for my inconvenience. I got a halfhearted apology and a "Happy Holidays". Sheesh.

December 22, 2011 11:00am I contacted Palo Alto,CA store and was greeted by Dan whom withing seconds yawned very loudly in my ear. (NICE!) As I inquired of a specific item he interrupted me only to inform me that what I saw online was not a coupon and that I should not expect to get that size ham. It would have been nice if he would have just listened. I am sure that many unhappy customers haven't taken the time to write how they feel otherwise the HBH website would be inundated with complaints!! Word of mouth travels faster than complaining to the company and so I will do that. I will let everyone know about my experience with HBH store. Hopefully when they try to decide on what to get for the holiday dinner my words will sway them from purchasing a ham from this company.

This was a joke. I ordered 2 different dinner items at a cost of $100. Received 2 of the same thing. I called into the service number, explained to the girl that answered the phone and then she said she would look into it and put me on hold. I waited 20 minutes on hold ( what a fool I am ) called on the other line and the girl this time was rude and kept giving bulls__t answers. She said they could refund me the money of the item I did not get but I would have to drive to their offices and drop off the item that was sent. ( do you know what the lines and offices look like this time of year............ ) And they want me to take my time and energy out my my day right before Christmas and our dinner to do this......... they are a joke

Awesome Honeybaked Ham spiral cut. Great customer service and was a great treat. Called a few days before we needed the ham and went to the Store located at 7601 North Point Pkwy Suite A, Alpharetta, GA 30022. Every one was busy and I stepped up and gave them my name and my order was perfect. The lady checked my I wonder how many thousands of spiral hams they sell and here we have a few that complain. Where are the thousands and thousands of happy customers? What people should do is write a letter or a post on line when they are pleased with the service. Rather than a few exceptions where as the employee made an error. Thank you and Happy Holidays! JRATL

TERRIBLE customer service at the Silver Spring, MD store. I ordered some food for my family members funeral and had it delivered so no one had to worry about picking it up (I'm ordering it from 14 hours away). I was told that the delivery charge wouldn't be much. I explained what my budget was and they charged me $30 more than what i had discussed on the phone. I spoke to a store associate about it who told me they were too busy to help me and asked ME to call back in 30 minutes with sentences like, "I aint knowin' nothing' about that..I don't do catering..speak to a manager..." ..no please, thank you, or apologies included. I called the 1800 catalog number who told me (very nicely I might add) to call the store manager and if she couldn't help, demand corporate. Called store back and the store manager was terrible. Very rude on the phone, unwilling to help, told me that I knew what I ordered...which I didn't b/c we never discussed a $35 delivery fee (even though the website says $10). She continued to tell me that she was corporate (which was obviously a lie..I would hope that their corporate was more literate than she was) and finally after 20 minutes gave me the district managers number...WHO has yet to call me back. VERY dissatisfied with the service and level of respect they have for their customers. So needless to say, I'll be disputing that charge on my credit card. Oh yeah, the food arrived late too...what a nice touch to an obviously awful week.

I bought a whole Turkey and 4 side($85.00). The sides were terrible, stuffing spoiled potatos were mush and ambrosure was spoiled also. What realy took the cake was the cheese cake sampler I purched ($51.00)and had send to Yuma AZ. was miss handled. When it was opened it was destroyed. just a clob of smashed cheese cake. What a dis appointment. This will be the last year I buy from Honeybaked.

This complain is for Honey Baked Ham store at 9775 Medlock Bridge Rd, Ste. S, Duluth GA 30097. I placed my order through internet on 11/19/11. On 11/22/11 I received a reminder to pick up my order at the store on 11/23/11. When I arrived at the store, I showed a copy of my order. I was told my order was sold to other people. I wasn't the only customer who experience this situation on that day. The manager's face was very cold said: "I'm sorry. There is nothing I can do about it. If you are not happy you can complain to the corporate office. The way we operate is we sell to whoever want to buy. We can't reserve item for order". I asked him: "So why they sent me reminder about picking up my order if you sold my order to other people". Again coldly he said: "If you are not happy you can complain to the corporate office". That's it! What kind of an attitude is that? When a customer placed an order, they should reserve the order. What is the point for me to spend time on the internet to place my order, if they sell it to other people anyway? I drove there for nothing! On top of that, I have to go to grocery store the day before thanksgiving to get cranberry. It wasn't very convenient for me at all. I don't know how he was hired as a manager if he doesn't have any skill to manage the business? Even his employees are more polite than him. I did not even offered a credit for my inconvenient. This is the last time I purchase from Honey Baked Ham at Medlock Bridge Rd.

Today is 11/22/11 I was scheduled to pick up my honey baked ham from the honey baked ham store (Pasadena) as we have done every It's a thanksgiving tradition! Thanksgiving wouldn't be the same without it! I was completely saddened and dissatisfied with the customer service provided by an employee named Andrew! His actions towards me as a paying customer was unacceptable... The line was long and out the door like every year which I don't mind waiting for delicious ham. But I did mind how disorganized the lines were after entering the building there was no structure to the lines for any of the  available registers . First off he did not greet us what he actually did was argue with us about us about not being next in "his" line and this is after he had just finished helping other customers that were  about 15 people behind me when we were still outside of the building! I've worked retail before and everybody knows that the customer is always right you do not argue with the customer ! And that is exactly what this Andrew did besides also snatching my credit card out of my hand and throwing my pick up order# at me !  I will not be returning to this location all thanks to Andrew!

Terrible MISLEADING catalog and online advertisement. It says FREE standard shipping , but you have to read the fine print . Honorable companies would put the terms of shipping on the pages of the item to be ordered. BE CAREFUL- online shipping they now say there is ALWAYS a shipping charge, so they advise to you to call in for the free shipping on orders. When you call in , they then tell you free standard shipping is only in certain areas. How much are uou willing to pay for an overpriced piece of pig? the ham is almost TWELVE DOLLARS a POUND, and they want you to pay to get it there- maybe if Pigshad wings- onward to the Gift basket!
