I ordered a washing machine and dishwasher which was supposed to be delivered yesterday between 11:00 and 3:00pm. I had my current dishwasher disconnected by a plumber as instructed by HD. Well, the dam things (washing machine and dishwasher) never arrived and I never got a phone call telling me the products would never arrive. I called HD to report this info and was given the runaround by clueless staff. They then said wait until Monday as they contract out to a delivery service. I am furious, I waited all day like a jerk for products that had no intention of being delivered. I will hire an attorney for reimbursement of plumber fees whether the products are delivered or not. My kitchen is a mess with the dissasembled material all over my kitchen. Will never do business with them again. This is not the end, they will be hearing from my attorney. I will advise my attorney to pursue them for treble damages, 3 x the amount of my actual loss.

had windows installed,2/26/11, one window came in as a defect, was told within 10 days they would be back to install window, it is now 3/23/11, no window only a piece of plywood on the only window in the room, very dark. when i called back to let them know about the damage to the in side trim on two other windows they said they would repair, still nothing done. the work on wrapping the outside is no where near a quality job. homedepot was,you see was,my store , not lowe's but times are changing and it is very sad. after calling all the phone nos. i have and leaving messages, i called the store, could not speak with a live person, no customer service

We have the absolute best experience at Home Depot here in NCentral OH! By far, it is better than Lowes' where I walk in and no one acknowledges you and you have to interrupt THEM to get help. Not so at HD; they always greet us and answer questions and walk you around to help you find what you are looking for. We know several staff by name and are loyal and frequent customers over that last 10 years. We had an issue with a vanity top that was warped by the manufacturer and then the replacement was broken and though this was all inconvenient and not the stores doing, they had a custom one made of our choice at the cost of the original premade one. Outstanding customer service!!

Parked at the Home Depot in Port Chester, NY last week to purchase the supplies I needed for the next day's work. When I returned to my van I noticed that it was broken into. My power tools, hand tools & a digital camera was stolen! I called the police who explained that they get called at least 3x each week for the same problem. Checked with security; their cameras saw the culprit who hit four vans in a matter of 20 minutes. My question is..if this is a problem at the Port Chester Home Depot, then why don't they have security in the parking lot?

Hi my name is william I was associated 6586.And they let me go,saying that myself and two other associates tried to stop a shoplifter.

I will never shop here again until they stop supporting homosexuals And Stop being so gay friendly. Until they do I will never go there. I hate them and they will burn in hell for ever!

I used to work at store 0159 midtown atlanta and I must say this, it's nothing like it was two years ago when I was there. Customer service was barely hanging on by a tread then. I experienced racism, having to cover 4 different departments, so short staffed on one of the busiest stores, that I had to skip or help during lunch, not to mention the noose that was found hanging in the rope and chain aisle(in a perfect spot where no cameras could pick up). Haven't shopped there since. Customer service is way down there. The same as wal-mart.

I too am not very happy with the HD organization. I applied for a Supervisors position at their Portsmoith NH store. After successfully completing a phone interview, a personal interview was scheduled. I arrived 15 minutes early after driving 2 1/2 hours to this interview only to be told, they didn't have my intervie packet, would I come back the following Monday, but call the store manager to reschedule interview. OK, no problem....s--t happens. I called the manager on monday, no apology was offfered for my inconvenience, in fact after speaking with her, I wondered how she had attained such a position. I traveled the distance and completed the interview. I was ver satisfied that my 28 plus years in supervisory positions and being a former business owner would give me an edge on the other 3 applicants that I was competing against Not a chance, come to find out they were all in house or store employees and they needed a token outsider to apply to satisfy corporate. Needless to say I did not get this job, which I am sure I was more suited for than there other applicants and it basically was a 500 mile waste of gas. Beware....apparantly the hire from within regardless of your qualifications.

Things I wish.... I wish Home Depot would mark in bold letters products made in the USA.

We have bought meny genorators from the home depot yesterday we returned for the forth time and we where told that it would be the last time they would do this for us, yes they have been very fair although the genorator we got yesterday brand new out of the box never used before is not working already. We used it for maybe 3 hrs and it does not work!!! We have solar power and depend on these genorators and not one has lasted a year and now this one lasted 1 night. Do you think we should shop at the home depto anymore????

I wish the people complaining about Home Depot on here would learn how to spell and use better grammer. LOL Home Depot is no different from any other retail company. I have worked for several and you are going to have good experiences and bad ones. If you are having issues you need to go higher than the store and call customer care. I would like it if people would tell me where they work so I can go throw a fit there just like the people throw a fit at Home Depot

Called Home Depot right now at (770)433-8211 stated I wanted Human Resources. Automated attendant stated it was transferring me. I waited on hold for 14 minutes. A lady came on and transferred me. States to go online at careers@homedepot.com. Cannot get a hold of a real person. Wasted cell phone minutes.

I am an employee of HD and I must say that some of you people have to understand that the problems you have are not the fault of any one employee. They are problems with the products. I don't quite get where some of you are coming from with your attitude. Now, we have a 100% satisfaction policy, where if you are not happy with anything we sell for any reason within 90 days, simply return it!! DO NOT come on this site and bash the company because you want to make noise. If it is past that time, we will help you contact the man. of the products, or, LOOK ON THE BOX!!!! It tells you how to claim the products as defective. We cannot control some of our contractor services and for that we apologize, and I assure you that if you contact a store manager or a district manager the problem will be taken care of to make you happy. And to the person saying we are the "scum of the earth" and uneducated, I dare you to take on my intelligence. I am knowledgeable in 99% of our products and on top of that, I am well educated. There is not one person in most of our stores making under 10 dollars per hour. Oh, and just so you know, Home Depot requires all of our store managers to have a college degree(mine graduated from Rutgers on the Dean's List). So get your info straight. We cannot control all of our associates and managers and I understand that some can be "jerks", but in the event of a problem, contact someone higher up in management. We probably wont be ill towards you if you are respectful of us. HD is a great company to work for and they take care of us very well...

This seems like a sounding board for right wing religious extreme people. Who cares. All I want is a phone number to contact their top officers. Reigious nuts and and angry disgrtutled x employees.

I no longer shop at HomeDepot due to their policies of supporting homosexuals. They even denied the allegations but later they were proven to be true. Good luck to you HD. I am sure the gay community will make up the difference you lost from lots of folks who are shopping elsewhere.

i attempted to purchase carpeting for my living room, library, and hallway. I also contracted for the installation of new countertops in my kitchen. I purchased interior and exterior doors. All of these jobs required that the store send installers. The store clerks were wonderful. They were helpful, nice and informative. the installers were absolutely the worse. all of them were interested in the big "rip-off". The carpet installer quickly indicated that he didn't move piano's nor could he pick up a saxaphone from the floor, i instantly fired him and hired someone else. I recieved the same carpeting, they moved the items necessary to perform the job and it cost $500 less. The installer of the countertop kept prolonging the job. I went into the store on the 15th of january, and it's now Feb 9, they called today and indicated "they" wanted more money for removing the present countertops. Home Depot was paid in full for the entire job. I'm pissed.

Wrote a letter about poor communications and promises made to Corp with a previous purchase. They called and promised a follow up in 3 days Im on day 5 and Not a call EXACTLY what the letter was all about and still no resolution

Obviously you Corporate types think that you can share your opinions with us and we will accept it....NO MORE HOMEDEPOT FOR MY FAMILY............... The Home Depot, through its Foundation, is now matching donations by its employees to further homosexual activism. GLAAD (a politically active gay group) announced on its website that The Home Depot has agreed to match all contributions made by company employees, despite a company policy to the contrary. The Home Depot policy states it will not match funds to "political groups" or "groups that have a primary focus of changing laws." GLAAD is heavily involved in promoting same-sex marriage. Through its "Matching Gifts" program, The Home Depot is willing to violate its own policy to help promote GLAAD's top agendas - homosexual marriage and more gay characters on prime-time network TV.

Try getting a copy of your credit card statements on the phone from HD. They are awful, and no-one is willing to help. They direct you to the web, to print out a excell file that looks as if it were composed by my 2 year old daughter. Actually, I take that back, my 2 year old could do a better job. Then if you actually try to contact the corporate office, they are closed, and the mail box is always full! I spent over 10k at home depot last year on a remodel. I wish I had gone to Lowes. BTW Lowes was able to fax the information I needed, and their customer service was quick and courteous. I was hung up on by the HD reps twice.

citizen Kane I purchased a Tiller-mid-tine, made by honda model #0882510527, again I purchased it on 1/31/11 at 9:41am at the Madison street store in Riverside Ca. and returned as soon as I used it around 2pm. I simply asked for a store credit to buy a better tiller from there rental department, and Javier the Manger there refused to give me a store credit. SO they may of saved $449 but lost my companies business for life. I would to thank Shannon at Atlanta Central. I hate to shop at Lowes but I don't have a choice.
