My recent experience with Home Depot doesn't even deserve 1 star. I had a dryer delivered and it was the worst experience I've ever had with an applicance delivery. The dryer had to go down to the basement which is a very tight fit but this was my 4th dryer so other companies managed to do it. This guy was in a hurry to get home and made no effort to resolve this issue. He was nasty and rude. All I know is the last dryer was from Sears and they figured out how to get it down the steps. I had my neighbor come over and tear out my entire door jamb so they could remove the old dryer and install the new one. I will have to pay out of my pocket to get the door jamb replaced. Needless to say this is the first and last appliance I will ever order from Home Depot. Their customer service is a disgrace but they don't seem to care what any of us think.

try calling ! no one will pick up the phone. gave up no customer service

Home Depot is THE BIGGEST ANTI SUPPORTER OF VETERAN'S I've ever seen. I am 50% Service Connected disabled from issues that arose when I was over in Iraq. When I went to give them my VA card for their 10% store discount, it was rejected because my VA card did not say Service Connected. When I offered to drive home and get my paper work, they denied that as well. They might as well be working for Al Qaeda. Their corporate office will be called, a formal complaint WILL be lodged, and I will let EVERY one of my fellow Veterans know of my situation on communityof veterans.org. Thanks Home Depot for your support, it's good to know that while we continue to fight overseas, you will be right here, ready to screw yet another Veteran.

Trying to do them a favor by letting them know that they have the wrong company fax number in their records has been difficult after 5 phone calls. Trying to do the right thing and they want me to call different departments to let them know.

Your store in Fishers Indiana is the WORST!! Not only do you not have real people checking you out at the cashier line but when you really need someone there isn't anyone around. I just sent my daughter to return some items and she went to the customer service desk and the lady was reading a newspaper! The lady looked up from the paper and didn't even stop to help! Your store is the worst experience every time I go in. I refuse to shop there anytime in the future. I have just tried to call the store myself by using the menu options and tried two different options and it rang over 25 times before the call ended up disconnecting!

I bought some unfinished cabinets and when I got them home realized they were put together with quarter inch staples, particle board and were about as strong as cardboard. Just simple movement caused them to damage. Out of seven doors three had to be replaced. Out of six cabinets of the type I bought, ALL SIX were damaged in one way or another at the store. There is NO QUALITY AT HOME DEPOT. I have bought nails that bend in half as I try to nail them in, screws that break off, drill bits that snap into after one use. I have bought tiles that chip and cost a fortune in labor to do the work a second time. There is no product Home Depot sells that is worth the aggravation to deal with the problems incurred once purchased. Everything comes from China were all products are substandard time and time again. I'm done with Home Depot. . . . for good! And to Jeremy Ray Turner, I hope you were being facetious.

To Jeremy Ray, Turner, where is the Home Depot you speak of, maybe we could go there. and as for the last comment made by someone on 1/19/11, you hit the nail on the head. It has been a nightmare dealing with Home Depot here in Albuquerque, Coors Blvd. location. When you find an associate in the paint department, Marie is too busy texting to help you. I would say that $8. an hr. is too much money to pay someone like that. As for the rest of the store, if they ever answer the one which too 1 1/2 minutes and more to answer. You are lucky if they ever answer the phone. Lord help us if the person that originally helped with the counter top order goes on vacation, or goes to lunch. Then NO ONE knows what is going on. Yeah, that means you cannot get help. Then you resort to asking for a Mgr., that is even worse. After speaking to Vanessa store Mgr. on Sat. we were told she would have answers for us today, Monday. Well, you guessed it, she is off today. Aren't we lucky!!!!!!!! And the beat goes on and on and on

Store #1109, I use to work at home depot and feel that they treated me badly! I work out in the hot sun all day without someone complaining to me about wanting to take a break! They change my schedule around at the very last minute without telling me. They got me working real early with nothing to do and expect me to sweep up cigarette butts when they could just buy an ashtray! Other Lot associates just stand around while I'm pushing carts in and when I help out customers there is usually no one contacting on the radio. I can never find the associate in the right department so I have to disappoint customers because I don't know where to find anyone and I feel like I'm doing more work than worth 7.25 an hour. I have 2 jobs and I'm tired and I work really hard, I miss one day because the road was block due to some marathon and got fired for it! I don't want my job back! It was a waste of time and the most horrible job I ever worked at!!!

I have worked for The Home Depot for awhile and I have severe sinus allergies. I took a note from my doctor saying please have this employee avoid work in the garden center. I was told by the operations manager that they do not accept a doctor`s note. Untill now they have accepted them. Now I have to get my doctor to fill out paper work that I feel asks some very nosey questions. If I want any accommodations made for me and my health I have to sign a release form so they can get the information from my doctor. Without the paperwork filled out I will be put in garden center to work. My question is to anyone who works at any Home Depot what kind of place is it that does their employees this way. Does the employees or their health mean that little to them that they don`t accept a doctor`s note or believe an employee or their doctor?

i was on the website for coupons but you dont offer coupons. only for people who shop from home. you have offers from 2009. i was going to home depot today to spend alot of money on flowers but i am not. i will go to lowes or walmart. change your website because you are going to lose alot of customers. i already had a problem with you people. i am done.

Home Depot is a very poorly run business. Starting with the main office execs in Atlanta, 2455 Paces Ferry Rd., Atlanta, Ga. who are making astronomical amounts of money. None of them know how to run their HD stores. I was fired due to having been hurt on the job in my HD store. Know this all HD employees it doesn't matter who u r or how much $$ u make 4 ur store. If u get hurt on Home Depot's watch management WILL FIRE U! The management staff makes up lies to fire u. Just like they did me. I was always an exemplary employee for years. Had numerous years of training in my positions. Loved my customers, but not the management and other staff that was hugging all the St. Managers to stay in their good graces. That is how HD does business. It is wrong. Not to mention their support of Gays/Lesbians. HD will soon see their downfall. I am sure of that!

This has nothing to do with the products, or service I have received over the past 10+ years as a loyal customer of Home Depot, but it has everything to do with the moral core of your company. I have discovered, just recently that Home Depot is an advid supporter of the "Gay lifestyle", and their perverted display of immorality in the streets of Maine & Massachusetts. If this is what you represent, than you can forget about me as a loyal customer. Until you apoligize for your blatant, disgraceful, and discusting partnership this "vagular group of perverts", than I will" NEVER" support your comopany with my patronage. And this goes for my entire family, and community in the state of CT.

Shop at Home Depot at your own peril. If you are smart find the nearest Lowe's and spend your money there even if you have to pass 3 or 4 Home Depots on the way or you will be sorry latter. These idiots make the customer pay for shipping warrantied items off to be repaired, never mind the fact that you have to wait 2 weeks to a month to get it back. STAY AWAY...BUYER BEWARE.

This was my response to a survey that was sent to me today resulting from a phone call I had made to Home depot Corporate Office. "My issue was addressed, I just don't approve of your policy towards honorably discharged military veterans. You are taking some veterans and not others. I have been using my discharge papers and my driver's license as my photo ID to prove I am the person on the discharge papers to get my daily 10% discount. This is what your store instructed me to do for over a year now. I consistently spend a lot of money in Home Depot. I think your new policy towards military veterans is deplorable. I find it hard to believe a dependent of a military veteran can get the 10% discount daily in Home Depot, and I, as a honorably discharged veteran who actually served his country does not, just because they have a military photo ID and I don't!. What is wrong with this picture. If you are going to continue to do this as your new policy, you are discriminating! You would be better off to just stop giving a military discount period, to all military veterans. At least, that would be fair! My course of action is going to be this: 1) I am going to get rid of my Home Depot stock and never buy it again. 2) I work with 15,000 people in Sikorsky Aircraft in CT and I am going to give you as much bad word of mouth advertising as possible. 3)I am going to give as much of my business to other businesses as possible, even if costs me more money in the long run. I am going to search out forums and blogs that deal with your store in any way and post very negative posts and start new threads dealing with this subject!!" Thanks for reading...David

HI, I don't know what going with your buyers, but I could do a better job....Let's start with you folks getting bird houses.... The rest I'll save for another time

they just do not care .they want your money but leave you in the wind

I visited the store in vicksburg ms and i will never shop at home depot again i was tryen to get help a couple of days ago in the garden area and i was looking for some help i asked an associate with the name Holly.S on her apron for help with some fencing and she told me i needed to find someone that new about it and walked away now i would have thought she would have found someone that new something to help me a short time later i went back in the store to get some cleaning supplies and low and behold there is the same associate holly talking to some guy about how good she is in bed and all the men shes been with and the pulled up her shirt to show off a tatoo of writing on her side and when she finally realized i was standing there she froze and then had the nerve to ask me what the hell i was staring at and i nicely told her that she wasnt worth staring at and she didnt need to be showing here stuff off to everyone and she told me to go fuck myself and when i asked for the store manager she told me that he was her boyfriend and that if if i tried to complain she would tell that i tried to rub her up so as for the home depot i will take my business to lowes where i will be treated with respect and another thing i will be calling a lawyer

home depot in victorville california has the worst management. store#0665, does not know how to communicate with their employees, as a long term customer, i now swithed to lowe's. victorville store poor management, they should go back to cleaning restrooms

i ordered a Frig online. Suppose to be delivered but the company responsible for delivering the frig, not home depot, has an excuse. Lost losts of food. called customer service, not very responsive. Told me they would send a 75.00 gift card in 5 days. 3 weeks no gift card, these guys suck. Never again with home depot. You know customer satisfaction is okay, but customewr loyalty is priceless. I am not satisfied, but I now am a loyal Lowe's customer!
