How is this company still in business!!!

My Samsung Smart TV 55 inch is now projected to be fixed in almost two months, if it happens! I have Extended Warrenty and like so many others have stated, it is a ripoff!! I won't go into the details, but I have been so angry about this run around continuing over 11/2 months now and still saying parts on on back order. It is unbelievable what people have gone through with this company, as I have read all the reviews. Also they are very far down the line from even one star but I can't type in the zeros they deserve

No more !!

I have purchased heating and air unit, and 60 " tv..Both are broken and can not get any service going on a month...I have been lied to, put on hold,and still no help.. Never again will I go back to HH Gregg...I've spend lot's of money there, and feel like taking everything back and demend my money back...My total will be at least $ 5, 000.00 +....What a waste !!! Getting ready to contact BBB and get help...What ever you do, I would not recomend HH Gregg to anyone anymore...

Never use HH GREGG

Bought a dishwasher from hh gregg. They came and installed it, it was leaking (or said the installer) so he took it with him. We didnt want another one so we asked for our money back. The installer stole the dishwasher and we are still waiting for our money. We are taking them to small claims court in NJ.

Recent Visit

Doing complete remodel of kitchen. Had just left Home Depot working up quote on cab. and counter top. Visited you store on Cliton Hwy. in Knoxville TN on 2/27 at around 3:00P.M.Walked the entire appliance area for about 20 minutes. Was not approached by one employee.Estimate 8-10 people on sales floor, several not waiting on anyone.Needed help with specs and features. Will need to replace all appliances. But not from your firm.

bad expierence

I bought a new flat screen from the Orlando store. When I opened it noticed it had been used before. Then it did not work after I hooked it up. Took it in for refund and then emailed the GM for I grabed his card while I was getting my refund. Never a work or email response from the GM. How does a company like stay in business. Horrible customer service.

refrig.

Bought a new refrig. 2 days ago and its not makin ice and the freezer is not working. In addition to that I just went and bought $200 worth of groceries and now its all thawing out and buffet won't come out and fix it for 3 days and we hasld to talk them into that. They were going to make us wait a week to service it. Also they won't me to pay and extra $800 inaddtion to what I have already paid bc this one was a display model. Ridiculous!!! Next purchase from hhgreg!

plain awful

Bought a brand new cabrio washer and dryer in the midst of buying a home. Didn't move in until a little over a month later. Got my new washer out and for the past week every load of laundry ive washed is still dirty. Tried to call the store and was told it had been over the 30 day warranty. I didn't want my money back just store credit to get a washer that works. They basically told me sorry bought ur bad luck. That was my first and last time shopping there. Gonna call the better business bureau and complain. Now ive got 5 kids and a paper weight to wash their clothes with. Thanks a lot.

bad bussiness

bought a laptop from store in clearwater fl. and 3 days later decided it wasnt what i wanted so i returned it to store...the refund policy is obsurd..I paid 624.00 cash for this laptop yet was only offered 250.00 cash back and a check that i would have to wait 10 days for to come in the mail...so 10 days later still NO check...if i was to go to store and try making partial payment and agree to send check for balance they would laugh me out of the store..I will never step foot into another HH Gregg store and I will let all friends of this ....we will not go there again

Executive Customer service is terrible

My rating is really a big fat ZERO. HH Gregg has terrible customer service. Plus honesty is not their best quality. Shop at your own risk!!!! If you have a problem they will act like it is your problem not theirs.

When my wife and I entered teh store it wasn't very busy, and we saw one associate leaning up against a shelf texting, the rest were scattered and some helping other customers. So I went across the store and get the guy texting to help us with buying a fridge. He passed us off to a woman associate, that was pretty good customer service wise. We bought the fridge, but we were going to pick it up at the wharehouse. We forgot to ask width, so my wife called the store, and the first guy was not helpfull and would not measure the width of the fridge, just said every one else is with a customer. My wife said well your with a customer now, so how about some customer service and you go measure the fridge width.. He basically refused, and my wife then said put a manager on and asked his name, the guy hung up the phone on her. Then my wife calls back asking for a manger, the guy that answered asked hwat she wanted, and he turned out to be yet another worthless helper. So I called back asking for a manager, and the person answering the hone said he was one, and I started in that there was an issue, and he said I know I heard what my two employees said and they both have the same story. So basically the manager would not listen, so I said I would call corporate and he said fine nd hung up. My wife called corporate and got the jerk for a manager on the phone and corporate made him apologize to my wife, and told us this was going to be handled internally. First off leaning against a counter and texting while customers are walking around? In a bad economy be glad you have a job and the store has incoem to pay his wages great or not. Secondly the manager I talked to sounded young and was not very wise to not at least ask to hear my side of the story, it isn't as if two co workers have never ever stuck up for each other and lied for one another before in history. Basically lousy management and other than the one woman who sold us the fridge, the grove city ohio store had lousy management and mostly lousy employees that lied for each other saying my wife downgraded them both(she didin't).

I would not buy something from this store if it were the last place in town. The worst customer service I have ever seen! If you have ever taken advice from the internet let it be this! Go any place but HHGregg! We have a Best Buy, Wal-Mart, Target, K-Mart, Sears! Any of them HAVE to better!

Bad experience

Bought a 60 " TV with a 30 day price comparison guarantee. I found another TV exactly the same that was approximately $200 less than the one purchased at H.H. Gregg. When I went back they would not honor the agreement because it was Black Friday. If the agreement is 30 days it should be 30 days. Not just when they want it to be. The gentleman we talked to got a little short with us. We asked him to pick up the TV and refund our money and he said today is a cash only day. No money going out. Not a very good way to run a business. Won't be shopping there again.

Just a short time ago I called your store at Greentree mall and was passed around like a ball in a game without being able to find out if there was a shipping charge to deliver a range to Crothersville, IN after being passed to 7 people then electronics manager Jarrod who apoltologized then was I given the opportunity to find out , I told him that's ok I don't plan on doing business with your store ever again.

I wish there were a zero rating. I have tried to resolve an issue with the local store in Greensboro, NC for nearly a year. Today, I spoke with corporate H/Q and the manager we spoke with, Mary Dennis, flatly refused to do anything. She told my husband she would lose a customer over this. We ordered a gas range last November and the wrong one was sent in. We accepted the one sent with the understanding they would obtain us the griddle. After calling and personally visiting the store on many occasions, once being told the part was in the warehouse and then suddenly "gone, but would re-order and the store manager would personally handle this. I never received any return phone calls. So today I tried one last time with corporate H/Q and received nothing positive. So, unless you want low quality service and uninformed employees, please stay away from hhGregg. Sign me a highly frustrated and disastified prior custome.

On Oct 8, 2012, I purchased a GE washer and dryer unit from the North Riverside, IL store. When I got the unit home I noticed that the dryer was dented. I washed a load and put it in the dryer and it sounded like there was a brick inside. I called the store and was instructed to call GE to have the unit repaired. I was told by GE that the unit was to badly damaged and could not be repaired. I spoke to the store manager and to the manager of appliances. Basically I was told to come and buy another dryer and thank you for the $495.00 donation you made to our company.

I bought a refridgerator from the Douglasville, GA store and when it was delivered and installed they damaged my water line causing a leak that has now reached my downstairs ceiling. They came back to disconnect and take pictures of the damage and havent heard from anyone since. Its now been a month. Everytime we call the delivery center we either keep getting "mistakenly" disconnected or the manager we need to speak to is never in. I feel like they owe me a refund for my hassel, especially refund my $14.99 for hooking up the ice. Really?? What a rip off charge! As well repair fees for my damaged walls. That will certainly be my last purchase from any hhgregg store.

Terrible and poor cust service

I received credit for being charged twice on my debit card plus a discount on my next purchase. I will continue to shop at the 280 HWY store in Birmingham, AL. I love paying 5% tax instead of 10% down the street!

I recently visited the store in Merrillville where the customer service was awesome but the management was horrible. The cashiers were so friendly and were trying to assist me but when they went to go ask the manager a question all he did was ignore them. I was highly offended and felt as if my business wasnt good enough for them. Thats why I went across the street to Best Buy!

I have always enjoyed and purchased from HHGregg. However, I bought a small laptop 9/26/12 and they charged me twice on my debit card. Here it is 10/10/12 without my debit card being credited! I went to the closest neighborhood store on 280 Highway in Birmingham, AL. The manager was nice enough but did not issue credit. I may not ever go back unless I receive credit soon and with a discount coupon!
