Your Elkridge store in Maryland truly have issues with people of color. Why is it hard to get them to fix a new bike that they damage? IT'S ON CAMERA!!!!! ONE OF THEIR EMPLOLYEE SCRATCH THE BIKE AND HE ADMITTED TO DOING IT. How hard is it to fix a minor paint job that you cause? Let talk about the money we gave to that store!! CUSTOMER SERVICE SHOULD BE FIRST

I have owned 5 Harleys and I have been looking to buy another and it will probably be the last one because of my age and the price of the bike is more than I paid for my house and land. I have been on several diffrent H.D webb sites for local dealers here in N.C. and on the H.D webb sites ther is a price for the bikes and a estimated payment for 72 months. I visited the dealers that were on the webb sites and the price of the bikes were thousands of dollars over the listed price on their webb sites. I asked the dealers why the price and interest rates were not the same as on their webb sites? One dealer didn't or acted like he didn't know any thing about the site. I had to show him how to get on the site then he stated "oh that is some thing that H.D put on there". I am disapointed that a price of too much is not enought.

I took my bike in to have a starter changed there were no leaks, after having the work done at Lima Harley Davidson in Ohio. I've had my bike back in two other occasions and they can,t stop the leaks and refuse to finish the job I paid them for. I've got almost a thousand dollars in the repairs and they told me for more money they can fix it. That just isn't right when the job should have been done right the first time. Call me at 567-712-1477 Steven Puckett Jr.

i am posting this to say thanks to our guys at pensacola Harley-Davidson. there is but one ride-my little Harley sportser. Everyone there remembers the working folks and have gone that extra effort to look out for me and my ride. They've worked my bike in when they are busy and dont just dump me onto the road-when they say your bike is ready-means they'd ride her home. I am hoping that someone in the BIG office would pass this thanks down to MY shop-as it would mean much more than coming from me-i thank them all the time. This is why i have 40,000 plus on my 2005.

Pathetic excuse for a dealer and dealership... I bought a Yamaha ATV and paid for a Warn Winch ($69 promotion) and they were conveniently out of stock and said they would ship it directly to me... Waited a year and no winch so I contacted them by phone and said that they would look into it... Never heard from them... Asked numerous times and Hale's said they would get back to me... When I finally called in and actually talked to the owner, he said that they shipped the winch to me and that he would search for the shipping confirmation number... Never did... 9 months later, I receive a survey from Yamaha and I fill it out... Yamaha customer service calls me and says that they will push Hale's to get me an answer in 30 days... 50 days go by and I just get a call from the Yamaha customer service saying that Hale's had shredded that information... Customer service says... nothing we can do... Just another case of dishonesty in the sales trade... I'm out the $69 which isn't a big deal and I will not lose sleep over it... But what I want to do is inform potential customers of Hale's Harley Davidson in Mansfield Ohio that they were totally unprofessional and dishonest with my purchase... Hales Harlet Davidson is a dishonest organization led be an owner who lacks character... Hale's blatently lied about my transaction, purposely delayed gathering information, misled Yamaha and lacked the balls to admit they were wrong... I would not trust this dealer or dealorship knowing how they deal with customers after the sale...I hope that this review will deter at least one potential customer from purchasing anything from Hales Harley Davidson... because if you have to deal with them, after they have your cash, they will just blow you off just as they did me... I should have read all of the other negative reviews out there before I made my purchase... I hope that you do too...

Just a few words to let people know how I feel. I am a ex-vetran and spent 12 years in the Army so my word is everything. I took my motorcycle in for a 10k service, never having my bike in this paticular shop I decided to take mesures to make sure what I was paying several hundred dollars for was getting what I payed for. So before turning my bike in for the service I marked the plugs with a sharpie, well when I picked up the bike up guess what, they did not change the plugs, so it puts the whole service in question. So we go back the next day go thru the bike with the service manager things seem to be ok but driving to work my swing arm covers fall off. Normally that would be my problem but guess what when my bike was in for the service the tech calls and says U need a new tire, well ok so after all that the dealer replaces my parts and wake up this morning and my tire is flat. The dealer Sucks and I will never take my motor cycle to a dealer again for anything, I will do it my self. I reccomend and will recomend to all of my friends to never use that dealer and will do the work for them. I used my biker bucks for the service You know thinking or trying to save my cash , well if you figure this service out it cost me 4000 dollars, thats what I have spent to get the 400 biker bucks plus another 300 dollars for the tire that is now flat. So I am a little pissed right now . And the end result is buy a service manual for 70 bucks and save yourself alot of money and headache and learn to do it your self.

I was on a web sight for Vehiclecity cummins HD Flint Mi. found an o8 anniversery heritage softail listed at 17870.00.I requested a quote on the bike in the comments section made offer of 15800.00 out the door .An hour later a sales person contacted me and said best they could do on that bike was 16700.00.I drove about 100 miles each way to look at this bike and get financing, when I arrived at the dealership sales person informs me they cant honor that price for that bike and sales manager has switched me to 2 different choices.I was baited then switched and am not happy, waste of my time.I feel 16700 was a fair price for the bike and they made the offer to me it should be honored. If this is how your dealers treat good paying customers then maybe I should consider honda or yamaha, but i really wanted to buy a HD

I purchased a 2001 sportster and have kept it garaged and ridden it for a grand total of 2700 miles. yesterday the mirror stand bar broke in half and I was able to catch it while riding, the issue with it was poor qa/qc checks at the factory as it was the result of poor casting. then within five minutes I noticed oil on my chaps, thinking it was from a car I was not worried about it until I got home. To my shock and horror the oil came from the front left shock! I have owned other bikes made by the Japanese that never had issue's like this! 2700 miles is hardly a break in! whats next? Your companies poor QA/QC is costing me my very limited summer riding season here in the NW. if you guys don't fix this I will never again purchase a Harley!

I have a harley custom 09 softtail.....love the bike .....but it doesnt run right hard time cranking.....and them runs bad....took it to the dealership where i bought it....3 times they said they couldnt find anything,,,,then took back ....they changed a part and claimed it was fixed......NOT .....what can i do ....frustrated.....disappointed.....help

I have an 09 Ultra Classic that spends a lot of time in the shop for repairs. About 6 weeks ago it went in for a problem with the radio and I was told the radio would be replaced. (They replace the radio with a used radio that has been repaired by some company), but after I have called my dealer several times to find out where the replacment radio is, they have informed me that the radio is on back order and do not know when when to expect one. I did not buy a used motor cycle and I am not happy about settling for a used radio. after owning 3 Harleys in the past 4 years I am very dissatisfied and would like to trade this motor cycle for a gold wing but can't get trade in value without the radio. Feal free to contact me. Richard 321-231-5938. thanks

Have an 04 Ultra I purchased from the original owner, who purchased the 7 yr. Ext. Service plan.. Took my bike in to Big Barn H.D. in Des Moines to get the radio and the security system looked at and fixed..Got it back 3 days later with no radio(hed to order one) They put a new bracket in the fairing and a new motor mount..The closer I got to home (about 5 miles) the worse it shook and vibrated. Called them the next morning and they came got the bike to check it out. A couple days later I got a call saying I had a shifted flywheel causing the vibration ?? Something covered under the Ext. service plan. They talked me into doing some modifications to the engine while they had it apart. Said this whole process would only take 1 1/2 to 2 weeks.. Told them about a noise it was making in the top and to be sure to check it out while they had it apart. Low and behold it took them a full 6 weeks to the day to get my bike done and when I called them they said you have a problem ?? Guess what the problem was ?? A noise in the top end.. I am very upset with the service department there.. They do not ever call you to let you know anything about whats going on, dont return your calls, and they dont do what they say they are going to do when they say they are going to do it either.. Have talked to 2 of the 3 owners and finally got the rocker arms and shafts replaced and re-dynoed.. Still doesnt run right and I am afraid to even take it back there for them to TRY and fix again...I had some decals made stating my "opinion" about Big Barn H. D. BIG BARN H.D. SUCKS ! I have them on my Jeep, in my picture window, and on my bike !!I get a lot of thumbs up signs whichever on I happen to be cruising around in or on ..Have had people even stop by my house to ask about the decal in the picture window.. Obviously I am not the only person who doesnt have anything good to say about them...

Very dissatisfied harley owner.I know this will fall on deaf ears but here goes. I purchased this bike in oct. of 08 it is a 2000 deuce & purched the edge programe. This is my first harley & probably last.I'am 60 years old & retired but here goes. Since i bought the bike i'ts been in the shop numerous times for the same problems & many still exist. Brake problems looked at several times still exist. Was leaking oil told it was inner primary had oring bushings gaskets replaced stoped leak. Just had it in a month ago & had the upgrade hydrolic cam kit instaled also had oil changed. Brought bike home & within a couple of weeks oil leak. Was told it was nothing they did.Took bike in no leaks brought bike home oil leak. So now i'am stuck with all the problems they had it in for several times & never solved. them0neypit@yahoo.com I feel better now but am certain nothing will come of it.
