Bad customer service, i ordered shoes online and it was on sale but when i confirmed my payment it was a whole different amount. they charged me close to $50. over i called customer service and they say they cant do anything about it because the shoes were already reduced. I'm very disappointed, ive done alot of online shopping and this the worst customer service ever.

I recently had a terrible experiencing working for Guess. I worked there for 7 weeks and only made &127.00, I quit 3 months ago and I'm STILL waiting to be paid.

lost shifts due to the fact i was unwell and could not drive to work nor feel well enough to properly address customers. manager couldn't give a damn and took my shifts away… who knows when im working next.

THE WORST COMPANY TO EVER EVER WORK FOR!!!!

Over the past month or so, I’ve gotten over two dozen emails from the Downtown LA community asking me if Guess is planning on opening a new store at 7th/Grand across from Bottega Louie. Almost every single email was excited about a possible new Guess store coming to Downtown LA since that would signal that national retailers now have Downtown LA on their radar screens. We have some of the best new restaurants opening on the West Coast, but still very little retail to speak of. The lack of retail stores prevent Downtown LA from becoming a competitive regional shopping destination, losing out on those valuable tax dollars to satellite cities like Santa Monica, Beverly Hills, and Pasadena. Downtowners are obviously aware of this as many still travel out to neighboring satellite cities to do most of their shopping. This leads us back to the Guess ad at the corner of 7th and Grand, which went up on April 20, 2012. I could see how the ad promoting Guess’ 30th anniversary — wrapping around the entire ground floor commercial space at the corner — could be mistaken for an actual store build-out. But unfortunately, a Guess store is NOT in the works. The good news is that we are getting a very exciting new French restaurant and bakery that will be opening later this year. I called Guess corporate/PR to see if they were planning to open a store in Downtown LA anytime in the future, and the response I got was a firm “No plans for a downtown store.” I asked if they were aware of all the amazing new restaurants opening up all over downtown as well as the future businesses coming to Broadway including Ace Hotel and Sparkle Factory. The answer I got was still “No.” I find it funny that Guess found it worth their money to advertise to the Downtown LA community (aimed at Bottega Louie’s constant stream of well-heeled diners), yet not have in their plans to open a store in Downtown LA? The real irony behind all this is that Guess corporate is actually based in Downtown LA by Alameda and the 10 freeway.

Hello, I was recently walking through my neighborhood in downtown, and came across the new store you are opening on 7th and Grand. I can't be anymore excited to know that a store will be opening in that hot spot of downtown, and in that historical building. I congradulate you and I can't wait when the doors open. Thank you, a proud resident of the area.

Having shopped for years in Guess as my daughters & i love their unique great quality clothing..i am really really angry about my shopping experience at their Westfield Stratford Store last Tuesday evening & need to express myself....All my other experiences in this store are of very helpful, polite staff, who take your choice of clothes to the changing rooms & are there to assist you on all your needs...Well my daughter & i were the only people in the store & asked to try some items on...when we came out of the changing room the woman assistant was not there so we was not sure where to put the items...after a while i said to my daughter lets just hang them on that rail...then from nowhere the woman came in saying "no no no we do not put them there!"...i answered that we did so beacuse we could not see a member of staff..."well we dont put them there" she answered...i was not having that, so i told her if there was an assistant there i would not have done so & she insisted on nodding her head, with a sarcastic smile on her face, which angered me more...i told her i have shopped in guess many times and have never been spoken to in that manner before & that there was always help at hand...i would not have minded but the shop was empty!!!...but no..she let Guess down BADLY..because of her bad customer service & terrible manners i will never shop in the Guess store Sratford again....Bluewater & Lakeside staff are fantastic.

I had an experience at Guess outlet in Sparks, Nevada. I was told by associate to go f**K myself. I wrote to the district manager of that region and they did absolutely nothing. This associate is nothing more than a cashier. I wasn't aware that there's job security in entry level positions. They stated," that it was my word against hers." I've never been treated so poorly in all my life. I hope Guess goes into bankruptcy. With the economy the way it is, it won't be long before businesses like this one fall. What happen to the customer's always right!!!!

my husband and I were in Niagara falls outlet - 1700 military rd and my husband purchased a jacket which was $109.00 - walking around he found a much better quality jacket and we decided to go back to the store and return the item. He was given a store credit and told him because he paid by cash he could not get his money back. I went to speak with the manager and she said that's what the terms are on the receipt. okay. You get the receipt after paying right? I complained because we had bought the jacket just 10 minutes ago. I feel that my money was stolen from me and my family. I'm now forced to spend my money at this store. I don't shop in this store. this is my first time. The least they could have done was tell my husband their terms when my husband was paying. The terms are if paid by cash, can only give store credit. but by cards, they can return funds. I wouldn't know this before buying the item. They should say - if you pay by cash you can only get a store credit. Then we would have paid a different way. I still have my credit. And i don't know if i'm ever going to use it. I could have use that money for my daughters daily needs or rent or even bills. But instead I have a credit.

I am in south Africa ,where I have brought a lot of clothing from your stores here in south Africa ,I must add paying the cost you charge I would hope I am paying for quality , have had just as an example I brought your new brand of black jeans code 1220blk SU11 I have washed them twice and now they look a year old ,when you first wear them and rub your hands on the them during the day the colour start rubbing off on your hands ,which has happened on all your jeans I have brought . I wash the jeans as instructed and inside out to be safe and still I get the same result , I am now considering never buying guess again and that not just the jeans ,the overall quality once you where them is just not on the date is now 26april 2012 and would like a response ASAP on this matter.

We spent the whole afternoon trying to give my overweight aunt a makeover and to help her feel good about herself, and as we we're still shopping for everyone we went inside of the Guess outlet store in Katy, TX...she picked up a really cute romper to show one of my cusins and myself which I really liked and would have purchased, but the sales clerk had very rudely asked her who that was for bc he knew that could'nt have been for her, and when she told him that was very rude his response was if she didn't like it he could get out of HIS store....I was very appalled that a sales person could speak to a customer that way and he single handedly ruined our afternoon of building some renewed self confidence in her.....I will never buy anything out of Guess again...

Since the perfume Guess by Marciano for woman is being manufactured by Coty, this perfume only smells like alcohol with a slight scent of perfume that goes away after 10 minutes. I ordered the perfume on line from Guess then returnrd thinking it was expired or defective. They send me another one and it was the same poor quality crap. Of course I am stuck with the perfume and out of my money. I was soo upset and my husband and I loved this perfume so much he ordered another botle from Macy's, here comes the 3rd botle of alcohol with very litle scent. Luky for us, Macy's do take back returns, so this one is going back. This is so upseting, this is been my signature fragance for years and now I need to find a new one. This perfume was manufactured and distribuyed by Parlux before Coty took over the manufacturing and it was wonderfull, I wear some after my shower in the morning and it lasted 8 to 10 hours. I guess Guess decided to change the formula or somenthing? to save money. They lost my, I spend a lot of money on this brand for my grandchild and daughter. Not anymore, lots of other prety good brand names Gap, Abercrombie, Lauren etc.

I called the Headqtrs and all I did was introduce myself and say how are you doing? and the receptionist was rude didn't answer a simple question and barked if I was selling something. I was trying to buy some Guess items in large qtys. With customer service like that and all of the above bad reviews, I will pass even though I loveD Guess.

I bought a pretty pricy Guess bracelet. After about 5 days it started tarnishing. I can't believe it. I called the corporate offices and they were no help. horrible customer service. I will never buy Guess again.

Overall when I started working for this company it was a great environment, but then once new management came in, rules rules rules that didn't even pertain to running the business properly. I wasn't allowed to hang out with associates outside of work and drink, I wasn't allowed to talk about things that bothered me, and the company completely ran itself based on he said, she said BS. out of my 3 and a half years working there I saw 3 perfectly good managers get fired, or quit because of the corporate office telling them they either didn't like them, or suspected them of suspicious behavior. The staff is very unprofessional and make very lude comments. If someone calls the "hotline" on you for something you didn't even say or do consider yourself fired. Their is no freedom of speech. If someone doesn't like you, they can easily make something up and call the hotline and get your fired, it is as simple and easy as that. I would never purchase, walk by, or work for this company ever again in my life. Horrid.

I bought a Guess leather jacket couple of years ago from Macys. It has started to crumble, from the shoulders. I contacted Guess, they told me that 3rd party products if i bought the product from a 3rd party, i should return it to them. This is pretty absurd, its a GUESS product, totally substandard and now they want me to go back to Macys. Macys return policy is 30-180 days! So i am stuck. I bought a Macbook pro (apple) from amazon. 2 years down the line, my battery gave me problems, i had no apple care, went to Apple store, they ran diagnostics and changed it for me FREE of cost! No questions asked. I asked Apple that i did not buy it from Apple store, they told me since its their product sold by Amazon, we take the blame and give the best possible service, now that makes you a loyal customer and gives you satisfaction that if you buy a product and if its substandard, you can return it irrespective of the place where you bought it Conact me my email is haaroonn@hotmail.com. If not you lost a customer!

Everyone has so many bad things to say about this company. I don't know why! Every few months I always make a trip to the Guess in Lower Manhattan and everyone there is so nice! When I walk in I am always greeted by employees and they always tell me any special deals for that day. And not only that but they ask me how my day was, they make it so comfortable and fun and welcoming.

I just wanted to say that Guess does have the worst picks when it comes to employees today I walked to the Guess By Marciano store at Americana in GLendale and both the manager and the associate were so rude they didnt greet when I walked in they ignored me while i was in the store and gave me dirty looks I shop at Marciano before but this is my second bad encounter at the same store the girls are rude and they ignore me like im at a private club that i dont belong to and I will NEVER set foot at that store and my friends wont either cause i told them about my bad customer service experiance.

I CURRENTLY work at a Guess store in Toronto, ON. I applied for a full-time position and have gotten LESS that 6 hours of work in the 3 weeks that I've worked there. I'm "On-Call" 5 days a week!! During my last shift, which was 3 hours, I heard the manager asking her friend over the headset if she wanted to go drinking later and if she wanted to take OVERTIME this week. How is there room for overtime whem I'm getting no shifts!!??. Other issue, besides the amount of working hours: 1. LACK of TRAINING for new employees (I had litterally 5 minutes of training for the cash system) 2. UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF 3. UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF 4. UNPROFESSIONAL & RUDE STAFF 5. UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF
