To whom it may concern:thi I am a female and I own a barbershop and I do all services for a much better price. I feel that the San Diego Groupon is very conceated. I still feel that I should be excepted, no matter what kind of business I have. Please consider what I am writing to you, I would really love to be apart of your team, I feel that It will do good for my business. A Barbershop mind you! Lisanne Beeman (owner) s is not the way a barbershop is anymore expecially when I am a business that wanted to advertize with your company to help my business. I've talked to many others Friends aquaintances that are using you for your business and they tell me how wonderful their business is and how it has really started working for them. So I thought I would do the same. I am here in the San Diego Area. To find that Groupon here is very snuety to work with, since my business is a Barbershop not a salon, they refused me. I was offering a wonderful deal with perms and colors with free haircuts at very low prices, much lower than what a salon would do these services for. I feel since I am a barbershop I am being discreaminated against. I'm sure that most people that were young and their mom took them to a barbershop to get their hair done think of a barbershop as a bunch of old men sitting around waiting to die cutting your hair. I purchased some products from Groupon in Nov'2011 which were delivered to me in July'2012!! I waited for 7 months to get defective on incomplete items fom them. On requesting them to get the defective items collected either by their courier service or of their suppliers as it was their mistake, I was told that it's not their policy to pick the items. It,s customer's duty to either spent for the courier or bring it to their office. This is what they call "Customer Service"!! Seeing no alternative, I drew all the way fro Bur Dubai to Media City to return these defective items. I wasted my time(2hrs), money on petrol + salik(to & fro) and what they offered me as compensation was 20 Dhs Groupon credit that too reluctantly! Rather than taking their suppliers to task for defective products, they make the customer run from pole to pole for no mistakes of theirs. But trust me, there is no feel of guilt on their face. I wrote to hem that 20 Dhs may not be credited into my account and shall be returned to Mr. Nabeel Naved ( who gave this offer) or shall be given away as zakaat to any needy person in this month of Ramadan. This would give me much more happiness and satisfaction. I promised them not to ever buy any product from their site. I am sure there may be many more who must have gone through this or worst experience than mine at Groupon.

Just had my account disactivated by Groupon for no apparent reason, without any notification at all. Lost access to the $140.00 Groupon Rewards I spent the last 2 years earning. No reply to my calls to customer service. ... BEWARE.... NEVER USE GROUPON

I am very sorry to say that grupon in Brazil has been maculated the good image of the company. I live in Curitiba and like some others costumers over here; I bought a grupon coupon for photos in a Company named Iris color. As you can see in the site www.reclameaqui.com.br/3227075/iris-color/groupon-iris-color - 34k, there are so many complains about this. My problem is I tried to contact groupon by mail and phone without any success. They don´t answer any of the available communication (not so available). Therefore, I would like to inform you as a costumer.

DO NOT BUY MERCHANDISE FROM GROUPON. They sold a Fathers Day T- Shirt and advertise that it will ship within 7-10 days, however, it has been 13 days and it still has not shipped to me. It is 4 days before fathers day and my tracking order says it will arrive 3-4 days AFTER Fathers Day. When I spoke with the customer service manager he repeatedly told me to read the fine and that if I wish to return it, I have to pay for shipping again. Thanks for sticking it to me. YOU JUST LOST MY BUSINESS FOREVER.

The Father's Day stunt you have pulled is backfiring on you. I can't believe that you are this tasteless and insensitive!! First, I have have four babies and photo-shopping a belly on a man is just plain senseless. Second, this is making fun, in a poor way of Father's Day! Everyone is talking about it, yes, but not in a good way. I have already heard several comments about people refusing to use coupons from a company that uses such poor taste!!

GROUPON GERMANY: Coupons are not being sent to non-German addresses. Groupon Germany does not state this in their order-process, but instead simply does not send out the coupons hoping the customer will forget about them, allowing Groupon to pocket an extra-profit. Emails are not answered by Groupon Germany as a matter of principle, thus forcing customers to call the toll-number. Customers will then have to pay for the waiting-time at that toll-number and face a rude agent. Groupon Germany conducts a systematic fraud and will soon face publicly funded organisations for the protection of consumers. Hopefully the government will shut them down soon. This is not the GROUPON I know from the U.S. .

Groupon.ae (UAE) Request #75252 --> since 16 April 2012, no operator assigned, via phone directed to a line which is not being answered Brinda Bhadai posted this on May 14 01:20 pm Does anybody know what is going on with the UAE groupon services???? I've posted a request for reimbursement (as advised by merchant, since we were not able to schedule an appointment within the avalaible stay in Dubai) on 16 April. Till today (14 May 2012), almost one month later, I can still see that the request has not been assigned to an operator. Out of desperation I called the customer support (T +971 (0) 4 4579494 ). First time I got disconnected while waiting for an operator to answer the phone. Second time I got an operator, who had NO ACCESS to the GROUPON system and he said he would put my call thru to another operator. The phone kept on ringing for minutes, nobody answered, after 5 minutes I hang up. It's costing me a fortune to call from Holland Third time, after waiting for customer service rep. to pick up the phone, suddenly line went dead.. Fourth time, in the middle of the answering machine text I got disconnected!! What is going on, why is nobody following up, answering the phone.... Grrrr...

I wish to categorically state that I have dissapointed by the lies and cheap tricks exhibited by a branch of ur company "Groupon Malaysia". I have called the groupon costomer service here in malaysia several times concerning a groupon I purchased and each time I'm been told nicely that it will be fixed in 24 hours or that I will be sent a manual groupon etc. But till date almost 3 months now nothing has been done. In recent weeks i've voiced out my displeasure over the phone but nothing has been done to solve this situation. The worst part is that when ever I call I get assurances that are never followed through. Groupon will need someone like me to help flush out this unprofessional practices and improve the efficiency of this business model. Till you guys put the proper people in place I would say that so far this has been the worst experience of all e-businesses anyone could ask for.

I bought a sliding exercise equipment. It is faulty and very unsafe. First when I complained they said the courier will pick it up and no answer. Second time I complained nobody has come back to me. i just want a refund which I am untitle to under Groupon regulations.

To, Panasonic India/UAE Pvt. Ltd. I am just so disappointed with Panasonic! I know it is strange that I am writing you, sir, but I feel like I have to let someone at headquarters know what happened to me. Still why no procedure has been done on my Television yet, UAE Panasonic team please get the work of my Television done ASAP, otherwise I will never purchase any Panasonic product in my life. A little over time of 3 months I had purchased Panasonic 32” LED Television from UAE and It worked reasonably well up through till 3 months. But just few days back it had stopped working suddenly, it gives sounds nothing on the screen, So I called Panasonic customer service, and called a technical person to visit my place but when I told that I have a 1 year international warranty, I was told by the technician to visit the service centre for query, I should have been provided 1st with the home service, I was told to take the TV at Panasonic service centre which was around 35 kilometers away from my house, I took my Panasonic television to the store to get it repaired but the person at the store they told me that they will verify the problem and send it to the concern team ahead in UAE and if they will get response from there to repair it then only they will repair FOC. Otherwise I need to bare the expense. If I need to bare the expense then why am I given the warranty period. And please note that customer satisfrication is a must, what the crap you have their working in your service centre which is on C.G road (Ahmadabad) what should I tell my friends, relatives that no to buy Panasonic products. So please give necessary training to the person who sits on the counter and has to assist to the customers. I need to talk to someone superior regarding my complaint. Overall Panasonic product & customer service is ridiculous and I am not at all happy with the service you have provided. Looking for your prompt response

I actually did not even want to put one star. This companies customer service is the worst ever. I had ordered a mattress topper and ordered the wrong size. I called the very next morning and I was told...no problem just need to send to management to get approved.......... well after about a dozen phone calls and 3 supervisors later I kept getting told it was too late because the product had shipped already. 2 weeks later I still have not product. Talked to another supervisor who said product should ship in a couple days. I finally got product and of course still the wrong size. If my company ran this way we would be out of business. Suggestion: if you are an investor in this company....................RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Groupon is doing a very bad business, they are cheating people. When calling customer service, you will put on hold for a hell of time and not reponding.... very poor service they provide. never purchase a product in GROUPON.

Customer service is horrible. Not considerate at all. After having a bad experience with one of the services, they insisted that I had to use the Groupon, didn't bother to ask about my experience, and when I expressed how dissatisfied I was & that I don't plan on using their services, they simply replied with "sorry to hear that". Horrible.

I purchased the magic bullet last Feb 29, 2012 .The voucher stated that delivery will begin on March 26. But due to holy week vacation, it was moved to Apr 13. Despite the many follow ups I made re this product , I always received one and same comment about this, “sorry maam for what had happened, I will assure you that this will be delivered to you. We just ran out of stocks and your name is included in the delivery.” How long will I wait for this? FOREVER!!!!!...hell no… I waited long enough and I fear this would happen to another product I purchased from them, the nicer dicer which is due to deliver Apr 23. I will complain them to DTI if still no delivery until end of April. Groupon is lowly poor and they should close their lowly company Very very poor in service. How can they say they ran out of stocks. They should have known as they have visibility in the actual number of order as their site will auto close when it reaches the due date.Damn you Groupon!!!!!!you are all liar, cheater and thief!!!!

Simple as that. well not true I have had bad products & services groupon Brazil and when i contact groupon they say that they are not responsible for products or services of who they list well this way groupon will be bankrupt very soon their are excellent competitors around the world that really honor: If the experience using your Groupon ever lets you down, we’ll make it right or return your purchase. Simple as that. do something about the bad or false products sold on groupon.com.br & and definitlely do something about having a little customer service. Groupon is a fraud and ripoff! I emailed a complaint about a merchant that refused to honor my Groupon coupon on March 24. I have not received any response from anyone, despite the website's promise of a resonse within 24 hours. After waiting over 5 minutes for the misnamed Customer Service of Groupon's, I decided to notify my credit card company to not pay Groupon, to wrote this note, and to write a letter to the Corporate office. I will never do business with Groupon again. They are not honest! And Groupon supports crooked merchants too!!

My complaints are the following: 1. Misrepresentation of the party from whom I am purchasing the item: The Groupon page clearly states that the seller of the deal is Reckitt Benckiser, and even uses the Reckitt Benckiser logo on the page. Whilst Reckitt Benckiser is a public listed, international manufacturer of consumer goods, whom I would trust, and whom I thought was selling the items wholesale. Instead, when I went to pick up the items, I was met with an abusive individual, Mr Mark Kong (markfungkong@gmail.com) who claims to be the 'boss' and 'manager' of the retailer who is partnering with Groupon, Think (www.thinkers.hk). When I asked him for his business card, and which company he is from, he gave me his card, which shows that he is clearly NOT from Reckitt Benckiser. Instead of having the expected security of purchasing genuine items from the manufacturer or an authorised retailer, I realise that I am instead buying from a one-man shop, whose main line of business appears to be a small cafe rather than a retail outlet, hawking his wares from an unknown source. This would appear to be misrepresentation in your advertisement, with legal implications for Groupon and the company you are partnering with. I would like a thorough explanation from Groupon as to this misrepresentation. 2. Lack of retailer education on Groupon's iPhone app: The retailer whom you have chosen to partner up with for this particular deal, was a very abusive man. I have participated in many Groupon deals previously, and have done so through the Groupon iphone app which you introduced a while back. I believe Groupon's investment into developing and maintaining the app is to ensure that customers have a convenient way of purchasing their vouchers and using it at the shop with the 3D barcode and security code that is delivered automatically to the app. Retailers on their part, generally have barcode scanners or take down the security details to enter into their terminal. I had yet to run into any problems using it, until this incident with Mr Kong.Unfortunately, on this occassion, Mr Kong insisted that he does not accept vouchers on the app, and that I would have to print the voucher out. Since Groupon has introduced such an app and is encouraging its customers to use it, they should make at least EDUCATE their retailers in how to accept vouchers submitted via the app. Mr Kong clearly has not been educated in this respect, or has failed on his part to maintain his contract with Groupon. If I am being encouraged to make my purchases with your app, why am I being refused a redemption with the app particularly since that is one of the main features of the app? I would like (a) an explanation of why Mr Kong refused to accept the voucher via the app, and (b) an clear explanation of Groupon's policy with regards to the use of your app. 3. Abusive retailer: When I requested to call Groupon support line to clarify the matter and seek a solution, he started shouting and told me to leave his shop or he would 'call the police'. He even told me 'get a refund if you want, I don't care for your business'. I am appalled that Groupon has not made a greater effort to verify the background of the parties you partner with. Regardless of his reason for not accepting the voucher on his app, I believe you would agree that Groupon would not want its customers to be subject to such abuse. Accordingly, I would like an explanation for his abusive behaviour.
