My brother was suppose to leave orang burg sc on June the 16th at 10:40 pm and the bus didn't come till June the 17th at 9:30 am then he made a stop in Winston Salem nc which was suppose to leave at 6pm and didn't leave until 6:55pm this is the worst service every and I will NEVER have one of my family members take your bus again .

I show up to the station that by the way was closed and when the bus driver got thee he wouldnt let me on the bus, even tho I had my referrence number and everything else i needed. Apon calling the corporate office they tell me that they cannot wave the fee of $20 that I now have to pay because each Greyhound station has thier own rules and regulations. This is unfair that Greyhound made the mistake and no im the one having to pay for it. Very disappointed in the service received by Greyhound.

Agent Extortion

Bought my ticket online and when I arrived at the Dumas, Texas station I was told by the person on duty it would costme $10.00 more to get my ticket. He said that was the only way he got paid. I guess my ticket was being ransomed. I hope this behavior is not supported by Greyhound. In the real world I might consider this a crime.

Corporate office

This was the worse service ever my was suppose to leave on june 3,13 at 9:25am didn't leave until 11:47am was not told by any customer service that there will be a delay I get to Sacramento at 8:06pm was told I had to wait at the greyhound station until 3:30 am didn't arrive at my dystanation in Reno, Nv until the next day at 6:07am I was suppose to be at my dystanation on June 3,13 at 9:25pm greyhound service sucks an I'm a disabled person didn't not offer any acommendations I've been calling the corporate office since may3,2013 each time I call there saying our system is down this is everyday the operators will not let you speak with a supervisor. I had to sleep on a hard iron bench for 7hrs had to to the ER because my back an both sides of my hips, but was so sore from being on them for 7hrs very bad service. By Karen

Driver Selection Due Diligence

Stopped riding Greyhound when on a recent trip to Richmond VA, the Driver taking the tickets at Port Authority in New York was a former Client of mine who suffers from severe depression and takes medication to deal with his bouts of depression and anxiety. I would think that a Corporation like Greyhound Bus Lines would have checks in place to determine who they entrust with the public's safety.

Took a trip from long beach to Illinois GR employees were rude buses in poor repair luggage was lost and hours behind at all times would recommend the train cheaper and more dependable

refund

My client who is poor and does not speak English requested a refund last Sept and he stillhas not recieved it although we have requested it four times. They don't even have a Spanish speaking person in their bus station in Grand Rapids MI. I hate this company.The take advanage of their customers.The have a monopoly in the transportation

Bus service

i have rode greyhound bus several times and i only had one problem with onr driver , he wouldn,t let me on his assigned bus and i went to the ticket agent to change my ticket by having me get a later time to chicago near 95th and dan ryan , the ticket agent was helpful by talking to the driver by letting me assigned bus . Thank you mr ticket agent for the assistance , and i was six hour to my destination , the greyhound bus broke down me and other passengers including woman driver i had had to wait for few hours for a differant bus , not lady driver faught that bus broke down , after that , i had no problems with the buses breaking down or no problems with the drivers ..

customer service

If anyone has realized, the people that answet the customer service line or general phone for information, are not even from herr.. Asked to speak to someone here locally.& I was told that they couldn't.. Can't understand them.. Found out that Greyhound's call centers are overseas... I think I will stop using them and look for an alternative way to visit family...

Called the corporate office at 9:11 mountain daylight savings time on a Thursay and no one answered and there was no message machine. Obviously don't want to hear from anyone. It was not a complaint or a customer service issue, I just had a question that didn't fit the "contact us" form or any of the other phone numbers listed.

frieght lost or stolen

Shipped guncase COD on Greyhound. Lost, or more likely stolen by Greyhound employee. Claim filed, numerous phone calls to incompitent and rude customer service dept. 5 1/2 months later I am still fighting to get my claim paid. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. Would rate zero stars if it was possible.

Terrible Customer Service

I have called every number Grey Hound has and can not get any one to answer the phone. I have never had this bad of service from even Walmart. I will never use Grey Hound again. And they should have a negative rating stars.

The bus driver in Washington State from Moses Lake to Tacoma in Friday mornings is rude and threatening to the young passengers from the Job Corps facility. In researching this, many other reviews throughout the country are horrible about the Greyhound company, customer service, drivers etc. How do you stay in business? Not to mention, to get at ticket over the phone in my own state I have to call South America??? wow- 0 stars

Horrible Customer Support

I can not comprehend how bad the Customer Service is at Bolt Bus/Greyhound. Someone gave me certificates use for Bolt Bus travel on their Long Island to NYC service, and when I tried to use them no one at the off-shore Bolt Bus call center knew how to apply them. A call to the state side based customer service office was worse, and I was told first that managers were not on-duty, and when I pressed the issue I was told that managers don't take calls from customers. What a joke this is.

Rude people

Never ride Greyhound. I was trying to make sure that they were going to have a bus with a wheelchair lift on it as I had requested when I bought the ticket. I had a comformation number for the return trip from Glenwood Springsl, Colorado to Denver. I called the day of the ride ans was told the comformation had been canceled. They did not know why? I called and called no one could help. I did find one person who said that it should not be a problem but that I should call the station in Grand Junction where the bus started. I called Jerry the station manger their. He hung up on me three times and would not listen to me the last thing he said to me was "this is the sould of me hanging up on you again" Great he would leave me and my disabled son stranded because he is to lazy to do anything to help us. Great work Greyhound Bus Lines, you hire the greatest people. If he worked for me and he treated the my coustomer like that he would be fired. Steve

Shipped a package (a desk) and paid for priority shipping. 2 weeks later and no one knows what happened to it. Then was told you can't ship priority over 700 miles. Funny, their web site says nothing about that! No one knows anything, they can't find it and when you talk to them they either are rude or hang up on you!!!!! This company has absolutely the rudest employees and poorest customer service I have ever seen. We have insurance, but, I am sure it will be like pulling teeth to get them to pay. Will NEVER use them again.

Incompetent Employees!!!!!

I recently moved my mother to my area from another state and she rode down on Greyhound. After being taken off a non transfer bus because there were not enough people she was placed on a transfer bus being promised her luggage would be delivered 5 hours later since she is physically incapable of carrying it. After 4 visits to the station and 5 days later they finally found half of her luggage. The other half that had all her medication was still lost and just found but now big surprise they tell me I can't come pick it up until I talk to someone at baggage claim to send a letter to the warehouse so that I can pick it up. I have gotten to the point where I am sick and tired of your incompetent staff every time myself or my family has ridden greyhound there always seems to be one problem or another! If you are looking at this site to decide if you want to use them take my advice drive or fly. Greyhound sucks!!!!!!!!!

Inconsistent bus service

I have had to many incidences of Greyhound failing to supply to correct number of buses for the people that have bough the tickets. I was waiting online for an hour for my bus to find out that the corporate office miscalculated the number of tickets sold and sold too many tickets. They refused to send another bus and I was forced to wait another 2 hours for a local bus that I was not guaranteed to get on.

I surely did not mean to put a 5 star rating on my last comment. This company sucks and if there were zeros I would put that. Wonder how much longer you will be in business with these kinds of business practices.

I purchased an e-ticket for a GreyHound express, NYC to CHI IL); but the page would not load, hence I could not print; G H on line suggested to give it another shot, which I (trustingly and very stupidly) did, thinking G H folks were honest; no luck, man! NO t-ticket! but I got two ea e-mails billing me for the tickets; This has been 3 months (since Aug 2012) GH does not answer any more emails explaining and asking for REFUND, if they ever (reluctantly) did at all; I am out the money ($87 x 2); These folks do not respect their customers; and worse Nik
