70 Reviews For Goodwill Headquarters & Corporate Office

Dear Goodwill, I recently visited your Albany Georgia store, a man came into the store to ask if he could get a suit in order to go to a job interview he was told no they did not give suits away. After all the donations that I have given to goodwill this upset me greatly. I spend hundreds of dollars at the goodwill stores as well as online. This will no longer happen, I will give to other organizations from now on. I will be calling your offices as soon as they will answer.

Hello, my name is David Alexander. I shop at all of the Stockton, Ca. stores and some times the Tracy and Lodi store. I have been making my rounds to all the Goodwill stores in my area for the past twenty plus years. I go twice a day, at lunch and after I get off work.Up until Dec. of 2010, I found the prices to be fair, but since Christmas of 2010 the prices have sky rocketed. And as such, there are still items in the Stockton March Ln. store show case that haven't sold since Christmas, nor have the prices been reduced. They've been there so long that pieces and parts have started dis-appearing and the packages have started to ravel. I've checked online and have shown the prices to the manager and assistant manager; I took my laptop computer to the store and showed them the prices from several merchants to let them see that they are over charging the public. This is very unfair to the public, since they don't offer a guarantee or return. I'm not sure this is within the guidelines of non profit organizations. I've seen items that came from the Target stores and the price is higher than at the Target stores. At this very moment, there is a Blue Ray disc player in the show case of the March Lane store which has pry marks on the lid from some one trying to open it, it doesn't eject as it should, but still it is priced at $100.00. They are selling stuff that doesn't work, and pricing it as if it's new, but no returns or guarantees. TOTALLY UNFAIR TO THE CUSTOMER.

Hello, I am not one to complain. But, I must let someone know how customers are being treated at one of your pa stores. I took three of the same item back to the store because they did not fit. I was told that the items were not the same as what was on the receipt. They were the same as I bought, not my fault how the person rung them up. The cashier said, "fine I will do it this time" treated me like I was wrong, I did not like this. I returned another day to buy some items, they were on sale with the color barbs, I just had surgery, other things on my mind so I forgot to mention my discount card until after it was totaled up. The women was all huffy and puffy, deleting and re-ringing up my order that she still owes me over $4.00, from miss-calculation. I apologized three times, but the women did not even look or respond to me, too busy being upset. This is not the first time I have dealt with this rudeness. Its not right, makes me not want to shop at Goodwill in the Hanover store.

I would like to know why every time i look at the dumpster behind the goodwill store in Lehigh, Fl. it is full of stuff they through away?? Please dont tell me its NO, I've seen it,,they even put a Camra up to arrest people getting it,,and Yes, it goes right to the landfill..I willn't donate to goodwill, cause they through it away,,,

I would like to say, they rotate the stuff from store to store and what they can't sell, then after awhile they throw it in the trash, I can say what I witness behind close doors from the outlets, the Africans, & Mexicans buy this stuff like shoes , suitcases, clothes, books and send it back home to there countries to make money or go to the Flee market and double the price of what we donate..but, the good will programs sucks for people with disabilties, and they Discrimnate against hadicapp people, and they will sugar coat situations that happen the management in colorado sucks ..

The people you have collecting donations in Aptos, California are notorious for their laziness, surly attitude and hostile behavior. They appear to be ex-felons. My donations will go to Salvation Army from now on.

I just would like to add my two cents, I have personally witnessed or should I say overheard conversations between employes at my local store saying"well that's another one that will never make it to the floor, I'm taking that home myself". Now I don't know if it is company policy or not for that to happen, but now I know why all of a sudden I can no longer go in and find anything worth buying, it is never making it to the floor. I will no longer be donating like I do every year at my local store(I always donated a large sum every year). It just doesnt sem rigth, and I know alot of other people who have discovered the same thing, and also will no longer be shopping at our store. I live in Waterville, Maine by the way. Say goodbye to another customer, and donater.

I think you being the headquarters for Goodwill should check out your stores and how they are being run. The Store in Cape Girardeau MO is being managed by a manager who tells her employees one thing and the next day says she did not say that and changes it again. She also tells people who are applying for a job that all they will have to lift is 25lbs. what a joke. I have donated many items to your store only to find out that they take it and thrown it away. They don't even recycle, what year do you live in. I hope someone from here will take a look at this store it is the junk hole from well you know.

Hello, My name is Donna Bauman and I am the Hospital Administrator for a 4 practice emergency/specialty veterinary practice in Mt. Pleasant and North Charleston, South Carolina. I came up with the idea to implement a teddy bear program for the hospitalized pets. It is stressful for them to be away from their family and their family from them. The teddy bear program would allow the owners to hold a stuffed animal to get their scent on it and then that animal would be placed with the pet during its hospitalized stay. I sent letters to 6+ Goodwill stores in the area; addressed to their managers asking for donations of stuffed animals. I even said if they would sell them in bulk I would pay for them. I wanted to tell you that not 1 manager replied to the letters. I am a frequent shopper of Goodwill and believed your commercials about supporting the community by shopping at Goodwill. I thought that Goodwill would do the same in supporting the pet owners of our community and I am really disappointed that not one manager replied.

you people charge an arm and leg for your furniture, i have seen it here and in other cities and states, come on $239.00 for new box spring and a not so good pillowtop mattress. you get most of your merchandise is donated, you pay youe employees min. wage ok close to it, and you want $275.00 firm for queen headboard, foot board, railings no support for box sprg that is outrageous. I use to work for GE Corp. and Goodwill,Salvation army and others would pitch to GE employees where our donations go,right for people you want to charge the same as a regular retail store who buys there merchandise for a fair price, not donations. I think you should not get away paying know taxes(for a non-profit org.) get real your ripping off the needy. something should be done, people should boycoot GOODWILL!!!!!!!!!!!I WILL NEVER DONANTE ANOTHER PENNY.
