anti lock sensors

I had a problem with my 2000 silverado 9/23/2011 took it to my local gm dealer to get it repaired.had to replace both front hubs with new sensors in them and all the rotors at the cost of $1438.00 the truck had 49,870 mi. on. Now its 2/15/2013 having the same problem as in 2011 took it back to my local dealer they had to replace both front sensors convientely not covered by warrenty to the tone of $450.00 my truck has 5000 miles on it since the parts were replaced in 2011.I think they are selling defective parts, would not give me a vendors name for the sensors. My question to them was why did the first oem sensors last 12 years 50,000 miles and the ones replaced in 2011 lasted 16 months 5000 miles. No good reply just told a story of why a light bulb lasts longer some times ,my reply was my light bulbs don't cost $450.00 This was my last time ever going to this dealer as they Don't Care About Us. Bought this truck at this dealer and they Don't Care Don Larson Chevrolet Baraboo Wi. Extreamly Disappointed Michael Cole

2011 Chev Impala (Lemon)

I have a 2011 Chev Impala and since we have had it, got it new, I have lost count of the things that have gone wrong. First started with engine fading at starting off (taken back many times no fix) the left rear window cables went out, the rear window seal went bad, the console replaced, worst of all recently had water sound in dash checked hose problem of some sort, then car started running hot, took in had to have water pump bad replaced, gaskets replace, now engine fans stay on all the time have got to take it back. I have owned many Chev's this lemon will be the last. The dealeship do all they can do help us no problem there it's just the worst product GM has put out. Will never buy another Chev....Very dissatisfied.

Difficult to read or understand

I had every intention of writing a review to publicly share my poor experience with my local GMC Dealer. But after trying to decifer most of the very poorly written reviews, I felt it necessary to make this statement first: People, I too share your obvious and earned discontentment with the GM Corporation but your complaints would have much more merit if you actually had a good working knowledge of the English language before you posted your vague, hard to read, run on and almost completely illiterate babble. Almost all of the reviews I read seemed as if they had been written by 1st graders! And that is actually giving you too much credit. Learn to read, write, spell and use correct sentence structure before lodging your complaints in the future. They will certainly carry more weight and have more meaning. As for my experience? I bought a new GMC Sierra that had actually been wrecked! My sales person actually sold me a wrecked truck! There was no disclosure; no waiver signed, etc. Just an all out attempt at fraud. My local news station and my attorney are planning a nice BBQ. We may even invite the local GMC dealer...

2003 buick rendeveous

My daughter , whose son has MS needed a good car to take him back and forth to the Dr. THis car has been in the shop about 5 months out of 6 that she has owned it. She is sick herself but forces herself to work to help pay the bills and this car payment. This car has been nothing but trouble. They have put a starter, battery , ABS system three times and it is a pile of junk. We have read on the reviews on here and they all have trouble even with the radiator. Gee, if she had known that she wouldn't have bought it. How in the world is she supposed to get her child 300 miles round trip to the dr. It is a shame that there is no recall on this. She is divorced from the children's father and is swamped with car payment which she can't drive, all these medical bills, rent and everything. We thought this would be a good car since it was a Buick...It is nice inside but thats about it....You should have to send all these people who have one of these cars a new one....We are all so discusted.. s

Never again

I brought my 2008 Malibu into the dealer on 12/30/12 because it was acting like the transmission was blown. They test drove it on 12/31 and could not duplicate. The dealer never called me, I called them after many hours of waiting to hear something. They got more info from me and finally got it to dup. It turned out to be the catalytic converter. I was informed on 1/2/13 that it would be 3-5 days to get the parts in. I called 1/9/13 because I had not heard anything. He told me the part was back ordered and could be another 3 days. In the meantime, I found another car, put a deposit down and was just waiting for my car to be finished to get rid of it. I have had many problems with this car. I called to today(1/11/13) to see if they could just put on an aftermarket one and I was told no. I called headquarters to complain about how long it was taking. Wouldn't you know that 4 hours later they found one out west somewhere and it will me here Monday or Tuesday. I am done with GM. I have bought many cars/trucks from them and have been burned on most of them. My loyalty to american cars is done.

Issues with 2008 Malibu

I own a 2008 Chevy Malibu and wasn't sent the extended warranty letter due to the catalytic converter issues. My converter is now messed up at 127,000 (7k over what the warranty was issued for) and I have spoken to several representatives and even a district specialist who seems to never be in office. I have been a loyal GM car buyer since the age of 16 ( 3 cars in total) and this is just crazy. I would really like to have this resolved if possible.

Enclave Engine Blow up

We own a 2009 Buick Enclave and during the holidays our engine died while travelling. The dealership and GM customer service only are giving us a 10% discount off of $8,000 repair bill. This car has been well maintained and they believe it may be the timing chain as well. We own vehicles with over 200K miles and usually sell them in great condition. It is very disheartening that GM- BUICK is not standing behind their prioduct here and working with their customers to identify if this is defective workmanship or parts. All persons from the company are surprised at this turn of events. We would be happy with any support or suggestions because this type of repair bill is unforgivable! Not a happy customer....

2008 malilbu

Same proublem as others, My car was one on the recall list but never recived a recall letter, So this did'nt help matters my wife put the car in park would not start car seemed like it was in nutral anyway had it towed to gm dealer took 3 days to look at it a cable had broke from the transmission to the shifter, After several calls to gm warranty department there rep for our area said if the cable had broke closer to the transmission it would be covered so I ended up paying for this if you look at recall this is the proublem they are having the recall for, after all said and done gm warranty dept sent me a letter for a 1,000 dollar discount on my next gm car, it got cold that night so I started a fire with it, to all who owen a cheve get you so scoth bloocks to protect children that might be playing .

Biggest Cover Up

We purchased 2 years ago the (2009) Acadia. In January of this year, the Timing Chain went. After arguing back and fourth, GM helped. The problems just grew from there. Now in November of this year the Timing Chains went again after 27,000 miles. Did they put RUBBER BANDS ON? After going back and fourth again, GM used the 12,000 mile game. The sad part is that two different dealerships told us that they have had several problems with that year (2009) and get rid of it. GM has no problem selling the pubic a $36,000.00 disposable SUV that I NO LONGER FEEL SAFE IN!! You want to know what they offered us? A $2,500 trade in coupon!! I can go across the street to Chrysler and get more then that!!! What a JOKE!!

Commercial

I am Homebound in a wheelchair and I don't know who is responsible for the commercials on TV but I laugh every time the man that looks like Santa is on! Great job.

Bisiness Owner

I have a 2001 Chevrolet Duramax Diesel with 123,000 miles I may need to junk it because of part defects. I paid $4300 to get a transmission problem fixed where a chain in the transfer case had enough slop in it to slap against the pan and create a hole in it. All the oil leaked out and caused the transmission problem. I now have the fuel injector problem which they say they no longer honor the recall--estimated cost $6-7500 . Can you imagine junking a duramax diesel--a vehicle that is touted as providing in excess of 300,000 miles because of defective parts that the company does not stand behind

2013 camaro zl1

I purchase a 2013 camaro zl1 in November 2012. Everything was good into I went to pictures settings in the applications on the radio screen. PICTURES can NOT be display. I try a USB cord from my iPhone and a SD connection and still won't display any picture. When back to "Lone Star chevrolet" in Texas and told me it wasn't comparable. Which is all B/S....... This cars are defected and if I have to, I will go to court for a lawsuit. Cause dealership won't fix the problem.

Mrs.

While looking for a good used mini van to buy for my pregant daughter we choose a Chevy dealership thinking that they had higher standards than most used car lots. Well we found a nice van settled on a price and took the van home. We had already got the fiancing pre-approved and had planned on taking the money back the next day. While at the bank the engine light came on so we took the van to our local mechanic to place on their machine to see what code appeared. It was the catalytic converter. Knowing how exspensive it was to repair we called the Chevy dealer (ESTLE for Defiance, Ohio) and told them that we would not be buying the van because of the additional cost of the cataytic converter. When arriving back with the van a salesman approached us at the door and stated that the service dept. was aware of the problem. They didn't want to spend the money to fix it so they reset the code and sat it on the lot for the next victim. How sad!! I trusted this dealership and that is why we recently bought a new silverado truck from them and many previous new vechiles however we will not be buying from them ever again!! To be fair they did fix the problem with no additional cost but think how close it was for me and my daughter to be stuck with a large bill because of them. 9 Also a week later we had to fix a cracked raditor which also cost of $500.00. I often wonder if they didn't damage this or probably knew about it) The trust is lost with this dealership and SHAME on them for trying to rip off a returning customer. I will never reurn there again!!!

Last week in a scary moment for me, my daughter’s seatbelt got stuck. It would not click open nor was I able to pull the strap down. I struggled for at least 7 minutes to get her out. My daughter tried even to slide down from under the seatbelt and the seatbelt started going up, my daughter was chocking on the belt, I had no choice to cut the seatbelt with what I could find, cuticle clippers. I went to my local dealer in Maryland, and was given the 800 number to call GM motors to report the incident. When I called, I explained to them what happened and they suggested that the dealer diagnose the seatbelt. If the dealer said it was a defect then GM would replace the seatbelt. I also stated that I had three children, 7, 4, and 9 months old. I need my seatbelts. I would never cut a seatbelt if it was not an emergency. Well I just received a call from the dealer telling me the problem was with the retractor. The seatbelt would not loosen up. If this was the only case, then why was I not able to unclick it open. They told me it would cost $500 to fix and that GM motors will not cover it cause it is not covered by warranty. WHAT A CROCK. This has upset me. A single mother of three. I have an Equinox 08. This is my second GM car. I would never buy another and would not recommend GM cars to anyone ever. GM motors cars/suv’s sucks. Check your seatbelts, and please note if your passenger/child ever gets stuck in one, don’t cut it as GM would not cover it. FYI: All my kids were in age appropriate car seats.

Dissapointed in GM

I own a 2004 Saturn Vue which to my surprise has a Transmission that GM was aware was defective from the start , I am now having problems and Ive gotten nothing but the run around on if they would honor anything towards assisstance , I am so very disappointed in GM

my 89Chevy Camaro

I love my car it has 400,000 on her. she still has her origin motor and transmission . I to say that is the greatest car that rolled on the line .just wanted to share. Great job, Susan Smith Conyers, ga

i have a 2011 chevy cruze been in the shop 12 times just had the transmition replaced and i got in a accedent and none of the air bags came out and it hit right on a sencer i could have been killed if i did not have my belt on first chevy and last

I had purchased a 2010 Chevy HHR with 5,000 miles on it. I have had this car for two years and now only has 30,000. I started having problems with this car only a couple months after purchasing. At 7,000 miles the thermostat need to be changed. I thought OK problem solved. A couple months later it started over heating again so I brought it back to our local Chevy dealer to get the issue fixed, not once, not twice but three different times for the same over heating issue. While the dealership had my car for three or four days I called the GM Corporate office and spoke whith a man and after a few times talking to him he had put me in touch with a customer service specialist she had spoke to me and the dealer on different occasions. I told her how many times this was going on and my concerns about what other componates that may have been damaged to to the excessave over heating issues, she explained that she could extend my waranty an extra 24000 miles and that she was sorry for any inconvinence that might have occured and to give her a few days to send me the proper paperwork to do this, a few day had went buy and nothing. She had called four days later and had to retract the offer and had said that the power train waranty would cover anything that the excessive over heating would have damaged,it over heated again and is currently in a different shop and again they have to fix two cylinders, over heating ,chech engine lights, and traction control light are on. It really is too bad i cant take the car back. Since I have gotten the car we have had another daughter and no bank will let me get another car. I should have known better. My next car will be a Ford or Nissan.

I went out to buy a truck from my local GMC dealer here in casa grande az for my daughter and I myself own a GMC truck I spent 2 days working with a sales person and management about 2 months online with the sales person before going over to see a truck they had on the lot I was giving the sales price for the truck then credit run the works I was set to buy this truck they said they would let me know when it was ready. Several days later and several attempts to contact them the sales girl emailed me and said it was ready but now the price was $5000 more then the writen email needless to say I wont be replacing my 2007 GMC truck with another I will but Ford or Dodge and I took my daughter down the road and bought her a truck where the dealership dont try to pull fasts ones on there customers especially a GMC returing customer shame on GM for not montering ppl that represent them closer and shame on the dealer for playing games with their returning customers just from that one stunt they lost that sell to another dealer they they are also lossing the purchase my son plans to make and I was planning to replace my 07 sierra at the start of the year thats 3 sales lost right there for poor customer relations and when asked I alway say bad customer relationship from that dealer if thats how they acted before you buy how will they treat me when my new truck has a problem Sorry GM I have been a loyal for 20 yrs but customer relations need improved and it would take alot to forget this treatment my time is valuable and to be jacked around like this is unexceptionable

Bought a brand new 2012 Gmc terrain, had less than 4;500 miles an its at the shop broke down, not good for a new SUV,an I only had it for about a month if that long
