I just went to GNC and the customer service was horrible!! I was sold a product (Super HD) that not did meet my expectations. When I went back to the store to inquire about an exchange the salesperson began to rattle off why he is unable to exchange my product or give me a refund. He was loud and rude and incapable of having a decent conversation about the store policies. I did not bring a receipt, however, I brought back the product and requested an exchange. I have shopped at that store many times before and have spent a lot of money. I am a GNC Gold Card Member and the salesperson was unable to pull up my purchase even though I used the card when I bought the item! What a waste. I am extremely disappointed in the level of service and I will never shop there again. I ALSO RECOMMEND ANYONE WHO READS THIS TO NOT SHOP THERE EITHER BECAUSE OF THEIR LACK OF RESPECT FOR THE CUSTOMER AND RUDE BEHAVIOR. The store with the horrible service is located at 2451-I5 Centerville Rd Herndon, VA 20171

I went to store 01690 Saturday the twentyfifth of August at two fifteen. I bought vitamins. I was treated great

I believe my photo may have been used without permission on an internet GNC ad. I am doing my best to contact GNC to give them the opportunity to confirm or deny that the person with incredible resemblance to me is or is not in fact me. The ad was sent to me by friends who recognized me in the photograph. GNC, I hope you will respond to my attempts to contact you.

I have been stationed in twentynine palms for 4 years, and being the high desert there is an extremely limited access to nutrition shops. I started shopping at GNC store 4482 as soon as they opened April 2010 and I was ecstatic !!! The staff was helpful and knowledgable and I didn't feel "pushed" into purchasing certain things. I became good friends with the manager and the assistant around Janurary 2012. They were SO helpful and genuinely seemed like they were trying to find the best options for me to reach my goals. I spend upwards of 200$ per Month at this Store and I was treated with the upmost courtesy and respect. I left the area to train in April at the Miramar AFB and I was disgusted with the level of service at the GNC location there. A girl named Jackie claimed to be the manager, however her service was crass and unhelpful to say the very least. I figured hey it's ok I'll be back at my GNC soon enough. When I returned in June to find both Jenn and amber were terminated I was horrified. I decided to shop anyways based on such a limited availability and I was even more disgusted! Someone named Jessica claiming to be the "acting manager" was not only clueless but completely pushy and rude. I will not only Stop shopping there I will convince every person in my unit to do the same. we may have limited resources, but we do have the Internet - and we deserve good service. It's to bad GNC doesn't Put a high standard on service and keep employees around who aren't complete morons. I will NEVER shop here again and I will make sure no one else does either.

I was in the GNC 03052 on Queens Blvd in Rego Park. When I purchased bottles of 5-htp Consultant Larry F asked what I was using it for. When I replied it was none of his business he claimed I was rude. I was not rude, he is ignorant. I didn't bother to go on with any discussion since there is no point in trying to educate a half-wit. Do you have anything in your store to help to grow brain cell? He's a little boy with a Nepoleanic complex who needs to grow up and learn how to speak to adults.

I misplaced y receipt and can't get a refund. I've patronized GNC for years. Now I have a tub or sealed protein powder and can't return it. It ALL HINGES on one piece of paper which means nothing. If you sell me a product, and I return THAT product, you should be able to refund my money. You didn't sell me paper! So what difference does it make if I have it? I WILL NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER shop at GNC again. Vitamin Shoppe it is

GNC management needs to remove their name from the 5 Hour Energy drink. 5 hour has a very stereotypical ad in the south central PA market. It says that if you don't use the energy drink you will sound like a white dude. But once you take the drink you will be cool like a black guy. If the roles were switched every black lawyer would be on the case and it would be removed immediately. I am appalled at this add and will not shop at GNC anymore.

I went into a GNC store in Hattiesburg, MS (mall) and inquired about products recommended for weight loss. I was given some direction. I bought $215.00 worth of products in the hopes that they might help put me on the track to better health. Physical and otherwise. One of the products I purchased is a high powered diet pill (or so I am told). I went home and began reading about this product and decided that due the fact that the military had banned it's use, that I would return it before opening it. I returned it to a store much closer to my home than the one I purchased it at. I learned that one was a corporate store and the other a franchise. I was told that this store would not be compensated for this return, but she would do it, nonetheless. I was told, upon the cashier's observation of my receipt, that I had been sold products that were unnecessary and high priced, and that the person selling those items to me, had made money to do so. I appreciate commission, we all work to make money, but I went in there for help, and got shafted...according to the GNC sales person. I had a lengthy conversation with her, and she assured me the product I was returning was going to be ok for me, and suggested I try it before returning it, if that was my choice. I left the store, content with the service I had received, but somewhat puzzled about what actually IS the right product for me as I try to get on the track to better health. I had hoped GNC could be a trusted source for this information, but I see that I will have to keep looking.

Been with the company 3 yrs and always met the sales goals and have only called out of work twice in 3 yrs, no prior write ups no prior offenses and I did a favor for my rsd and filled in at a location 1hr and 15 mins away from my home while the manager was on vacation for two weeks so I went there originally for 4 opening shifts then their part time employee's green card expired so I had to fill in an extra closing shift, I then accidently closed the location 1 hr early and called my ssm immediately after I realized the error and was told accidents happen don't do anything like.that again and I may get a write up for it 6 weeks later I was fired by my rsd and ssm and was told there was nothing they could do it was a one strike policy and that lp was responsible for it I'm not bitter just shocked that they would let a seasoned employee go like that overnight for one offense in three years that was an accident. And then ofcourse I was denied my 88 vacation hours and my sick pay thanks guys!

Why is it whenever I go into a GNC and buy my specific products... the same shit I have used for 15 years, the salesperson tries to sell me another product? Listen GNC....stop trying to sell me products I do not want. I know what brand of creatine and protein shakes I like. I know more about the products than your salesmen. It has become so irritating that I have decided to avoid the stores altogether. I have expresses my opinion to many people because I feel that is a pathetic way to treat customers. I now go the a Rite Aid to buy what I need and no one pisses me off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Having a specific deadline to make certain sales for products is what ruins the atmosphere for GNC. Either the employee have to sell only GNC products or any product that gives them a little bit of commission. With getting paid only minimum wage it is understandable, but it destroys there own morality and cant give honest opinions on certain products they personally tried and knows that works well. This creates a terrible experience for shoppers as employee's hound them to buy a multi vitamin in order to keep there job. It is sad... Managers are poorly treated and a sales associate has little room for advancement in the hierarchy. There is no real "training" period. There is no seminar to teach you products you either enjoy reading about supplements and learn before the job or you blindly give advice to others. Such high turnover rate I dont really understand the business aspect of keeping the skillful workers there and paying them a wage they can actually afford to buy the supplements they sell. I really hope someone important read's this take it to heart.

I was in store #2741 today in cool springs,TN and a man claiming to be the manager treated two customers horribly. it was about a product that was mispriced and the manager became indignite about a price inquiry. the manager was rude, racist and wrong. the lady and her mother where verbally abused, and when they called him on the carpet about being rude he accused them of being unable to pay the $4 dollar difference in price because they were black and told them to look in the mirror if they wanted to see rude!! from the minute I came in I was never acknowleged and neither were they, he was on the phone and came unglued on them for no reason! I soon left and I will not return, I am also going to make it a point to discourage all the people I come in contact with ,as a community leader, to never shop there again. This behavior was in called for and ridiculous and should not be tolerated by your company! This was a disgrace.

I have been a loyal GNC customer for years. I have raved about your store to friends and to my partner who lives overseas. My partner who just recently started to workout was shopping for supplements to support his goal. He mentioned to me that he bought some supplements at Vitamin World and because he is on a limited budget cannot afford everything that he wants. I told him to go to GNC and sign up for the Gold Card which can help him save some money. He did just that. He was recommended to purchase the Isomass Xtreme gainer by the sales associate so he bought the 10 lb tub. He got home and mixed it and could not swallow it down because it tasted so bad. I told him to mix fruit in it and hopefully it would taste better,he did just that and still couldn't drink it but he forced himself to which then made him vomit. He purchased it on the 3rd of July and on the 5th of July he was told by the associate that all sales were final and that there are no exchanges or refunds. I find that hard to believe since the GNC I frequent tells me that if I DO NOT like it I can exchange it. I live here in San Diego California and he lives on the Island of Guam. Why am I able to exchange something here but that policy does not hold true to your store on the Island of Guam? That is really SAD for a large corporation to treat your everyday hard working person this way. What ever happen to treating your customers right and making them happy especially in these days when people have to watch every dollar they spend. It sucks that he is stuck with a product he paid 70.00 dollars for and can't digest it and it's only been 3 days. Wow!!! GNC really is this how you treat you customers? Do you guys not stand behind what you are selling to your customers? After all it is your name and reputation that stands behind it.

Back in Feb 2012 I decided to purchase a product that I heard was good for belly fat. So I went to the GNC in Knoxville, TN (Turkey Creek) location. The female manager told us about this great "Card" that would give us savings so of course we bought it as well. One of the sad parts of the card was you could only use it the first week of every month to get the savings. That's WRONG - it you pay for a discount card you should be able to use it ANYTIME! For the past several months I've been taking this SafSlim product it did not work like the bottle said it would. Sixteen weeks was the amount of time you were to use the product for maximum results and I did it for the full 16 weeks. EVERYTIME we came in the same woman would say if you ever have a problem with any of our products or they don't do what they claim you can return them anytime unopened or not. NOT once did she mention the return policy. Recently, I made the decision to finish what I had left in my current bottle, but return the one upopened for a refund. When I took it in a man tried to help me but stated he was being trained. Again the same women looked at my receipt an said she'd be happy to help me w/my return. Then her personality changed and she said "Oh this can't be returned, it's past 30 days". When I told her that she said we could return anytime. She informed me I was 10 days past the return date. It had to be returned by the 4th of June, I came in on the 10th. With my receipt in hand I ask if I was entitled to a store credit, especially since I did have the receipt. She told me "NO, that's the policy". This surprised me because at least at Walmart/Target/Kohls you can return anything anytime even WITHOUT a receipt. Let me assure you I checked the date on the bottle and because I'd just bought it the month before it wasn't like I was trying to return and out-of-date product. It had another 2 year date left on it. Be assured we'll NEVER shop at GNC again. For our vitamin or any other health needs we'll go to Fruit Full Yield or any place as long as it NOT GNC. Poor very poor guest service.

I WORK AT GNC THEY FIRE GOOD PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE FOR YEARS AND LET THE IDIOTS THAT DONT DO A FUCKING THING KEEP THERE JOBS I GUESS ALL U GOTTA DO IS GET FMLA AND WORK 20 HOURS A WEEK AND GET THE SAME BONUUSES AS THE REST GUESS IT PAYS TO B A LAZY FUCKKKKK....

I recently visited the GNC at 3749 New Macland Rd, Powder Springs, GA 30127 Stephen assisted me and was great. He was very knowledgeable and ordered an Amino Freak pill for me (that was shipped for free to my home) since it was out of stocl in store. I will visit the location again. I was pretty happy w/ the pricesand cust service I received! I am a Gold member.

When I shop for vitamins, I am looking for the world's best formulations with the world's best ingredients. I remember when Montgomery Ward had some of the most powerful vitamins on the planet; after that it was GNC all the way, before they fell off the pony. Now, in terms of quality and pricing, PURITAN PRIDE, is the King of the Mountain. The GNC card gimmick got really old, and they kept changing the rules until it got to the point where the once coveted 'card' is now meaningless. And I was a certfied GNC fanatic for a long time !! When I looked at the formulations and what they contained, there were significant differences, where Puritan CONSISTENTLY CAME OUT ON TOP. When I compared the pricing, it became clear that GNC had gotten not only greedy, but sloppy as well. Long live the King !! For all those who may have doubts, I recommend that you do your own research online. TROI S. McNEILL cygnusx1547@yahoo.com

Tried to return an UNOPENED item at my local GNC (GA)and my refund was refused. I provided the unopened item, original store receipt, my credit card and allowed the clerk to see my driver's license. The clerk stated he couldn't provide credit without all this "required" information like driver's license number. I refused to provide information. I see another poster had a similar experience. I would suggest that when GNC refuses a credit card refund contact your credit card holder and file a complaint. This is what I did. Had left a message with GNC district mgr but didn't get a return call, tried to contact GNC corporate but was referred to customer no service, hung on phone forever then called corporate back to tell them refused to hang on phone. This just shows one how this company operates. Makes you wonder about the products they sell. hmmmmmm

Leave now before you get sucked into the nonsensical world of b.s. and misery. If you report any superior do not be surprised when you get write ups and or discharges...the company hates whistle blowers. Unless you sell sell sell EVERY day exactly what they tell you to you mean nothing to them. OH AND CUSTOMERS...if you had a hard time returning something it s only because it was propbably a vitamin, gold card, or specific GNC item we are forced to sell. The employees should not try to avoid the return, however they are in constant FEAR of losing their jobs. It's a cut throat company and very bad for your health to work there, maybe even to take some of the things they sell too. There is s disgruntled employee on you tube who rants and the name of his video is " F GNC". HE SAID IT BEST! Good luck GNc. What happend to providing a shopping experience that will exceed customer's expectations? OH YEAH THAT STUPID P3 PROGRAM WHERE YOU HAVE TO SELL 50% OF THE SPECIFIC GNC BRAND ITEMS (or your fired). SICK

If there was a 0 youd get it way over priced and crappy products cheap ass GNC
