MY FIANCE PURCHASED AN 2008 FORD F150 ON MAY 5 2008. HE TEST DROVE IT AND LOVED IT SO HE BOUGHT IT AND SIGNED THE PAPERS ALONG WITH PURCHASING AN EXTENDED WARRANTY. WHEN HE DROVE IT OFF THE LOT IT HAD ONLY 9 MILES ON IT. THAT SAME EXACT DAY THE AC WENT OUT DUE TO A WIRE THAT SHORTED OUT. THE REPORT WE GOT BACK STATED THAT THEY REPALCED FIELD COIL DUE TO IT CAUSING CONCERN REMOVED AC COMPRESSOR AND THEN THEY RE-INSTALLED ALL OF IT. THEN THE FOLLOWING MONTH THE BATTERY WOULDN'T HOLD A CHARGE.THEN IN 2009 JULY 27TH TRANSMISSION HAD NO FORWARD OR REVERSE. THEY STATED THAT LOW REVERSE CLUTCHES WERE BURNT CONVERTER HAD TO BE REPLACED THEY PUT FLUID BACK IN THEY TEST DROVE IT AND WHILE DOING SO THE CLUTCHES BURNT AGAIN. THEN ON AUGEST 3RD 2009 VEHICHLE WOULD NOT MOVE NO FORWARD OR REVERSE TRANSMISSION GOT VERY HOT WAS SHOWING NO FLUID ON DIPSTICK AND SMOKE WAS POURING OUT OF THE DIPSTICK TUBE THEY REPLACED TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY REPLACED TRANSMISSION COOLER THEN TOOK IT FOR AN EXTENSIVE TEST DRIVE. FOLLOWING THIS THE TRUCK KEPT BLOWING OUT ITS TRANNY AND WAS RETURNED THE SAME DAY THAT FORD RETURNED THE TRUCK AND THIS HAPPENED 3 TIMES IN A ROW. WHICH ONE INCIDENT INCLUDED MYSELF HIS FIANCE WHILE I WAS 7 MONTHS PREGNANT AND THE FORD ROAD SIDE ASSISTANTS REFUSED TO PICK US UP DO TO THE FACT WE WERE NOT MARRIED THEY WOULD ONLY TAKE THE TRUCK AND THE OWNER BUT I MYSELF WOULD HAVE TO FIND OTHER TRANSPORTATION IN 108 DEGREE WEATHER. JULY 21 2010 TRANMISSION WAS ACTING UP FOUND THE TRANSMISSION FLUID BUBBLING OUT THE TRANMISSION DIPSTICK TUBE, REPLACED CLUTCHES, REPLACED RUBBER LINE NEAR COOLER, TOP FLUID TEST DROVE OK AND THEY USED 6 QTS MERCON-V. EVERYTHING THAT HAS BEEN REPLACED: INLET OUTLET COOLER GASKET SEAL KIT TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY TRANSMISSION COOLER OIL ASSEMBLY VALVE ASSEMBLY TRANMISSION GASKET TRANMISSION CONTROL ASSEMBLY BULK HEAD WIRING OIL PAN SCREEN PISTO

I HAVE A 2002 FORD EXPLORER XLT. I HAVE HAD TRANSMISSION PROBLEMS SINCE THE DAY I BOUGHT IT. I AM A 12 YEAR MILITARY VET. I HAVE SERVED 3 TOURS IN IRAQ AND AFGANISTAN. I HAVE ALWAYS BOUGHT FORD WITH LITTLE ISSUES BUT THIS PROBLEM SEEMS TO BE A PROBLEM THAT COULD HAVE BEEN AVOIDED. FORD REPRESENTS AMERICA TO ME AND SHOULD LIVE UP TO THE AMERICAN STANDARD OF QUALITY. THE TRANSMISSION NEEDS TO BE OVERHAULED FOR THE 3RD TIME AND I HAVE ONLY HAD IT 6 YEARS. PLEASE HELP ME. I HAVE A FAMILY AND IT IS THE ONLY VEHICLE WE OWN. I AM NOT ASKING FOR SOMETHING FOR NOTHING BUT I HAVE PUT ENOUGH MONEY IN THIS TRANSMISSION ISSUE FROM THE BEGINNING. DO NOT TURN YOUR BACK ON ME, A LOYAL CUSTOMER AND GREAT AMERICAN. I WANT TO CONTINUE BUYING FORD BUT THIS IS HURTING ME AND MY FAMILY. WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR ME FORD?.. I HAVE ALWAYS BEEN THERE FOR YOU, NOW ITS TIME TO BE THERE FOR ME.. chuckcpcargo@yahoo.com SINCERELY, CHUCK

I purchased a 2007 Eddie Bower Explorer and was very happy with it for about a year. Then while driving one day I heard a horrible noise from the front end then I heard a sound like something breaking loose... it was... my braking system on the left front!!! It felt like I had no control over the steering, I smelled a bad smell like burning and had no brakes! Had I been on the interstate..which is where I was headed I would have been killed or seriously injured this day. I called Ford and they said to call a local Ford to have it looked at. I called Town and Country Ford and they NEVER after being a loyal customer of 7 vehicles....never called me back. I then called Huntersville Ford and they were fast to have the car picked up. After looking at it they told me an internal part which rarely ever has a problem had gone bad. Worse news is it was no longer under warranty do to milage. My question is..if a vehicle is less than 3 years old and there is a defective bushing in the braking system that could have killed me...why is it not covered no matter what?? this is your defective part on my 20k + vehicle. Excuse me???? To make matters worse I have AAA and could have had my car towed but Ford offered to pick it up. they attempted to charge me for the towing and another $89 to diagnose their defective part...which they never mentioned charging for. Which is illegal in NC. I had to pull the statutes and fax them to Ford Customer Care to have them drop the bill. $1100.00 later the truck is back on the road. Poor service, poor customer care relations, and bad equipment on a fairly new vehicle. And I'm a single mom!!! Thanks Ford... Thanks for taking care of me..A loyal customer for years! Again thanks... maybe Chevy can treat me better.

When will you address your peeling paint issues involving factory decfects with your painting process. This has been going on to long. A simple search will open THOUSANDS of links about this issue. Many models involved. You even have a TSB (peeling paint 05 Explorer) that states the problem. You give the answer "out of warranty" or say its from bird droppings, UV rays, Sap from the trees! Small claims court is the answer! Implied warranty!! Ford customer care won`t let you get in touch with the local Ford rep. What a joke! Toyota for me.

This is a review of the CRC ie Customer Relations Center. I purchased a 2005 Mercury Sable Wagon in May, 2005. Between that purchase date and November of 2008 (58,000), I had to have the Catalytic Converter replaced three times always because of faulty equipment. I started complaining again at 90,000 miles that I believed it was failing once more. The dealership could not determine that it was failing but finally it was diagnosed correctly at (August, 2010-97,000 miles by the dealership once I went to an independent mechanic who advised me to show the dealership where the problem was. I need another Cat Converter which now means that I would be on my 5th Cat Converter in 5 years and 97,000 miles. I spoke with and emailed in detail to CRC over the past two weeks (6 times) and they refuse to acknowledge that there has been an inherent problem with my car and the Cat Converter from the beginning of ownership. CRC continuously states that since I am out of warrenty (80,000 miles) there is absolutely nothing that they can do nor will do to correct the situation. I have been a lifelong owner of Ford Products--my former car was a 1991 Mercury Sable Wagon which I drove for 14 years and accumulated 417,000 miles. Coincidentally I only had to replace that car with ONE Cat Converter. It is inexcusable that the CRC has elected to ignore my complaint as well as not even address the issue at hand as to why I must continuously replace this item on my car. It is a shame that they have adopted the attitude if you ignore the customer ong enough, maybe the customer will go away---well not in this case. I am now writing to the corporate office at 1 Americn Road, Deaborn, MI 48126. Maybe somebody, just somebody from either the Corporate Office or affiliated with someone who knows the right contact at the Corporate Office will take it upon him/herself to investigate this situation and right two wrongs----the Cat Converter and the attitude of CRC.

DEAR SIRS ON 07-12-2010, I HAD MY 1997 FORD MUSTANG TOWED TO CANTON MOTORS DEALORSHIP, INTERSTATE 20 EAST, CANTON, TEXAS 75103 903-567-4144 DUE TO IGNITION KEY JAMMED AND WOULDNT TURN IN THE ON POSITION, ALL PARTS WERE PUT INTO THE CAR,THAT WERE TAKEN OFF THE COLUMN AND IGNITION BEFORE I HAD IT TOWED THERE, DUE TO SOMEONE HAD TRIED TO PRIORLY FIXED IT FOR ME BUT DIDNT HAVE ENOUGH TIME TO FINISH THE JOB SO I HAD IT TOWED,TO CANTON MOTORS AND PAID THE TOWING COMPANY MYSELF ,AFTER THE CAR WAS TOWED THERE, I RECEIVED A PHONE AT HOME ABOUT TWENTY MINUTES AFTER I HAD GOTTEN HOME ASKING ME IF MY SON TERRY COULD COME TAKE THE IGNITION OUT FOR THEM DUE TO THEY COULD NOT GET IT OUT AND HE HAD PREVISELY TAKEN IT OUT BEFORE, MY SON WENT UP THERE, TOOK THE IGNITION OUT FOR THEM IN ABOUT 30 SECONDS, ON HIS WAY HOME HE RECEIVED A TICKET FOR NO INSURANCE DUE TO THAT HE HAD NO OTHER WAY TO GET THERE AS WELL THAT IM ALSO HAVING TO PAY , AFTER A FEW DAYS OF THINKING IT OVER I FELT LIKE IF THEY COULDNT TAKE THE IGNITION OUT THEIRSELVES THEN WHY WAS THEY GONNA CHARGE ME $ 600.00 TO PUT A NEW ONE IN,SO I CALLED AND SPOKE WITH THE MANAGER MIKE IN AUTOMOTIVE REPAIRS, AND TOLD HIM I WOULD BE PICKING THE CAR BACK UP. The 2010 Ford Fusions has transmission problems that ford can't or won't fix. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS TERRIBLE. I am currently fighting them tooth & nail with the lemon law. Such a shame if the transimission was good this would be one of the best cars ever made.

I just wanted to tell you a true story. My friend Jan (Pittsburgh PA Area) had a Ford Tarus. She had over 500,000 original miles on her car and it was still running! I told her many times to take a photo of her car / with mileage and send it to you. She never did but what a great car she had! It even looked great. Held up perfectly. Just wanted to let you know. It was purchased new and lasted a long time for her. She is on her own and has not found another car to last like that one did. In fact she is carless now.

What a racket Ford is running!!!!!! I have spent 4-6 hours for the last two days trying to resolve a repo issue. My mother (80 years old) co-signed a loan for my brother. He had just been hired at a new position that offered the benefit of a partial payment toward a new vehicle if it was set up as a construction vehicle, ie, resembled the fleet of white Fords used by other sub-contractors. He bought a white Ford, put ladder racks on it, tool boxes and had a great job with almost half of the $500.00 monthly payment paid by the company he was working for. About 6 months later, he lost the position due to downsizing. Inconsiderate of course, but a sign of the times. He lives in Florida, works and has always worked, in construction. No work and no assistance available to a single father. For seven years he and my mother attempted to make the payments, plenty of extensions and payment plans offered by Ford Motor Credit. Over $40,000 has been paid on this $22,000 truck. My brother was evicted from his rental recently. He found a smaller house, lower rent and less in utility. Still no steady job, but with a truck filled with construction tools, the outlook would be better insomuch as having more money to get caught up. My mother is co-signor on this loan. My brother moved, notified Ford of the move and continued to struggle with to figure this all out. Two days ago, the repo man showed up and took the truck with all the tools, ladders, ladder racks, etc. Understanding my brother did not comply with the original loan, and is ultimately responsible for the loan, these are some factors that I feel should have been considered. Today's economy The fact that Ford already received $18,000 plus dollars in interest, penalties, extension fees, etc. My mother was never notified as the co-signor CS said they tried to call, but her voice mail was full? You're kidding, right? How about you call til she can answer and the voice mail can accept this very important message? They had her address, how about sending a certified letter? How about calling me, as you have in the past, to let me know the severity of the situation? Why take the vehicle and add a repo fee? Obviously there is a financial issue that is serious, Florida is one of the worst hit the job loss, how about some compassion and alerts to other people who may have been able to help? Two days and many hours on the phone attempting to get a reduced settlement, Ford finally won. Very unprofessional customer service reps (DEE)refusing to let us speak to supervisor, just many issues handled in a very poor manner. Anyone else have a great experience like this?? We were hoping that since they charged it off, we could have negotiated to save my mom a least a few dollars So what do I think about Ford Corporate Headquarters? Yesterday I had some respect as they said they would discuss with DEE and her supervisor about her lack of professionalism and her refusal to let me speak to a manager. Got one guy on the line who ("generously NOT") said he would waive a couple hundred dollars to help us out. I got the runaround pretty much all day today, made no headway in trying to settle, they already had the car going to the auction with all my brothers tools inside. Ford won. One son drives an Explorer and will replace it with something else. Another son drives an F150 and will replace it with something else. When the economy (IF) ever thrives again, my brother will not ever drive another Ford. I drive a Dodge Ram and always will.

we bought a ford ikon in india few years back. we were extremely happy with the car. but that was only until our closest local authorised service centre changed. that was the beginning of our hardships. whenever we sent the car for servicing, the car came back with a problem which never existed before. for the first few times we did not understand what was going on. but then we saw that it was a fix pattern and each time the problems became bigger. ours is a self driven car. we stay in navi mumbai, india and our ford authorised service centre is "Bhavna Ford". our only fault was that we got our services done timely and that we TRUSTED FORD blindly. we thought that since this was an authorised service centre of a TRUSTED GLOBAL ICONIC company we could trust them with our car. but we were so wrong. i complained at the mumbai ford office also but nothing came of it. this has scarred and shaken our faith so badly that even though we wanted our second car to be another ford we decided against it due to this kind of service. WE HAVE BEEN FLEECED AND CHEATED BY BHAVNA FORD, Nerul, Navi Mumbai, India. if anyone is deciding to buy a ford, please save your car and do not ever send it to this guy. If the company wants to save its reputation in Navi Mumbai, then you need to definitely appoint a new service agency. if anyone in the company is paying any attention to loyal customers then u can contact me at knahata@yahoo.co.uk. it will atleast make me feel that u take care.

I have a 2005 Diesel-F-350, with about 37,000 miles on it. In April of this year I brought it to Winter Haven Ford for smoke coming out of the exhaust. After many attempts of trying to fix or even figure out the problem, they gave us the truck back today with the reply of unable to find a problem. These trucks tend to set out smoke" was also part of the reply. Not only did they not fix the initial problem of the smoke, they had the cab off the truck in an attempt to figure out the problem and ripped the carpet in the truck, the grease all over the inside of the truck was just an added bonus. We brought the truck home from that attemp to fix the truck and after driving it for one day the check engine light came on and power steering fluid gushed out all over the truck and the front steering stabilizer bushings were not even put back correctly and had to be replaced. I brought it back again for the white smoke and for them to fix the power steering line. This time they told me they were ordering a new line and going to have a specialist come a work on my truck for a hole day to figute out the problem. I got the truck back today with a seal put in and smoke still coming out. I am listing all the dates that my truck went into the shop, April 10,2010 brought in for the first time about smoke, still under factory warranty, April 16, 2010 brought back again, May 7, 2010, this was a 7 day attempt to figure out an oil consumption test May 14, 2010, & June 19, 2010 (Got back today 7/13/10 from 6/19/10) on all of these attempts I didn't have my truck over 7 days until the next trip back. Almost 100 days out of service and still not fixed and now I have a truck that still smokes, ripped carpet and the engine is making a knocking noise since I picked it up tonight. Please help. 863-412-1387

Dear Sirs, On May 22,2010 I ordered a Ford Raptor Truck from Syosset Ford , New York.I was told that I would have the truck in 8 weeks. Today is June 27,2010 and the dealer still has not received even a bill date. Please send a reply to boooby46@optonline.net as to when my truck will be built and when I should be receiving it. I bought my Ford Mustang in April 1999. I now understand what it means "Built Ford Tough"! I have 214,189 mile on it and it still runs good. The only things I've replaced were the fuel pump and the compressor. If I had to do it all over again, I would but another Ford. Thank you for the eleven years of a great car. Thank you, Renita Tindal Florence, SC

I am not here to rate my ford escape. I love it . My problem is the ford dealer we bought it from. Ron Alpine Ford in West Liberty, Iowa. We paid cash for this car, so it has nothing to do with a loan. The service there is very very poor, and the person that does the mechanical work is upset whenever he has to do something for us. Our biggest problem right now is that we have to have the rust taken off... AGAIN...and repainted...AGAIN....under the hatch in the rear. We paid 350.00 or more to get it rust proofed when we bought it in 2008 new. I feel that they just pocketed the money and never rust proofed the car. There is no proof in the car that it was ever rust proofed. We have taken it to body shops that say they werent sure if it ever was done. There are no holes that show it. We are very unhappy with this fact and will never ever buy from this dealer again. I wonder if all of the ford dealers are this dishonest? Next time we will buy a different brand of car just to get an honest dealer. Thank you Julie Picray

My mother purchased a Ford Fusion. I am the one driving it. I lost my husband & have tremedoust medical bills, so that is why she purchased the car. We change the oil every three thousand or so miles. We even purchased the extended warranty. My step son took all of the tool boxes that had all the documentation of the oil changes and of course he would not give them to me. I hate to say it but we purchased a LEMON FROM FORD. The engine went out & now I need you to approve getting it fixed because I don't have a vehilcle. I am through and through a Ford person but if your company doesn't honor the warranty I am never purchasing another Ford. Our family has approx 12 Fords. And all have said they would go to Dodge if you don't honor the repair. My mother was just helping me since I have been through enough. Now I am hoping that you do your part. I really don't need any more grief but I will do my best to let everyone know what a wonderful company you are or what a lousy company you are. Please return my call @ 575-535-4313 after 4:30 any day of the week. Thank you, Joy Reed

I have recently sent two letters to your head quarters, and have not received a reply.I do see that your core values are just talk. I was involved in a car accident on april 17,2010.Our 2001 lincoln town car was involved in the accident, and is no longer a car.IT had to be junked the insurance co. said it would cause more to fix than it was worth. I however did receive multiple injuries in the wreck, mostly from the air bag deployment. The first thing was that the air bag hit me like a ton of bricks in my face, arm, and chest area. For a brief moment i thought i would not be able to breathe, thank god for my frien that was a passenger, she kept telling me to breathe.Second the toxic gases from the airbag itself have given me severe headaches and also i think migraines.Last but least is the fact the seat belt cut my shoulder and i had multiple bruises and a cut on my knee from hitting the dash .Even though i feel very fortunate to be alive, still i have been through emotional hell.I HAD TO HAVE FOREARM SURGERY FROM THE IMPACT OF THE AIR BAG AND HAVE BEEN DISABLED SINCE APRIL 17, 2010,EVEN THOUGH WE HAD INSURANCE WE ARE STILL VICIMIZED.I do blame your company as these air bags have a safety net that does not protect women and children,it is kinda prejudice. All of the crash test are not justified when it comes to this matter. Therefore, i am holding you responsible for the injuries i have.I am willing to come to a resolution with you on this matter, but wont delay much longer.Ihave an attorney looking into this but emotionally do not want to go that route, please respond to me, i value ford. sincerely diane t. johnson 1335 leaning tree lane lexington ky 40517 859-420-3818

My husband and I decided to purchase 3 new Ford's this year because we liked that Ford did not take tax payer money like GM and Chrysler did. The 2010 Explorer drives like a dream and is a pleasure to travel in. Our 2010 Fusion and Escape have transmission problems. The Escape first had the transmission reprogramed. It spent another two weeks in the shop and had a valve body replaced. It spent another 3 weeks in the shop and had the transmission replaced, but the car is worse than ever. The transmission slips, delays, jerks and sometimes makes load noises. It jerked so bad today that It knocked both my dogs off the back seat. The Fusions transmission was reprogramed and started slipping again before I got it home from thr repair shop. Both cars are due to go back in on Tuesday. I drove the Fusion to the Grocery store one mile away and the car lurged forward and then felt like I was applying the brake when I actualy still had my foot on the gas peddle. Can Corporate come up with a plan that actualy fixes these cars instead of giving it's customers the royal run around? I already know the plan, the fusion will have a valve body replacement, that will not work. Then they will replace the transmission, but that will not work either if my escape is an example. Meanwhile I do not have a car I can trust to get my kids around to their activities, I have them calling friends to get rides because my husband is using the only car that is running without posing obvious risk to life and limb. Come on Ford, fix these transmissions before somebodies baby gets hurt. Please come and have the pleasure of driving my 2010 Escape or fusion and see for yourself what I am experiencing. You might want to wear a helmet.330-518-1097 4016 via cassia Poland Ohio 44514
