My 2008 Ford Fusion has developed upholstery problems around the air bag and passenger door after only two years!!! Fords response? Sorry, pal, you got over 36,000 miles on it, we ain't fixing it, though everyone agrees the only cause is shoddy construction in the manufacturing process! So much for a committment to quality or service. This is pathetic customer treatment.

I bought a Ford Explorer (2002) in April of 2001. I was one of the first to drive this vehicle. Most of the publc had not even seen this new model as it has just came out. I also worked for Ford Motor Company and have since retired. I had a downfall and was advised to file a chapter 13.When I bought the car I had a payroll deduct. That car should have been paid for in 2006. Due to the economy I fell behind in my house my house payment also. But when I bought the car the list price was 33,ooo dollars and I got messed out of my A-plan, because they gave me a high interest rate that ate up my A-Plan. I have since had my bankruptcy dismissed and now Ford Credit wants me to pay 10,000 dollars for the car. I have already paid at least 30,00 on the car. Ford Credit offered to settle with me for 7000 dollars. I do not have money right now, and I want to keep my car, but I have to catch up on my mortgage. I was wondering if Ford could give me a break since I worked there for 30 years and purchased several other vehicles from Ford and so has my family and friends thru the Friends and Family Employee program. I would also like to know if maybe the union could help me. I want and need to keep my vehicle.

As a lifelong customer of Ford I have experienced nothing but quality service from its employees. I have had the same car since its introduction to the market in 2005 and have not had a single issue with it. In October 2010 my husband and I relocated to San Antonio, Texas because of orders from the United States Navy. We took my 2005 Focus to a Red McCombs Ford location for the simple task of repairing the power outlet on the dashboard. This is where our problems began. With the chewed bubble gum stuck to the roof of my car and a few other delays it took to accomplish this task my husband noticed the air-conditioning not working properly immediately after. The location of airflow ended up being controlled by the temperature gauge and the temperature was controlled by the airflow location gauge. We returned to Red McCombs the following morning to have it serviced. It took nearly two hours to attempt to fix this issue and while getting into my Focus I noticed I was not receiving any cold air, only hot. The shop foreman was called over to fix the issue with success and we returned to our home. On New Year’s Eve we noticed there was no airflow in the vents on the dashboard, only around the feet. Convinced it had something to do with the previous visit to Red McCombs Ford I sought out another Ford dealership. Upon inspection of my Focus at Gillespie Ford the associate informs me a cable in my dashboard is the issue. I inform him of the events that took place at the Red McCombs location and how my car has been in pristine condition up until our move to San Antonio, he tells me there is no way. I write this letter while my car is sitting in the shop at Gillespie Ford until five o’clock this evening, a total of ten hours being in the auto repair center and a $1,200 bill. My family are all loyal Ford customers, owning at least one Ford vehicle for nearly twenty-five years and never using outside services for our vehicles. I am second guessing my decision to go with another Ford vehicle in the future with service such as this. I am a full-time college student and a spouse of a 3rd class Hospital Corpsman, it is safe to say my husband and I do not have money to toss around. I write this letter in hopes of my issues being resolved with your help in the form of a refund or complimentary services. I have nothing but kind words for your employees but in the past three months I am considering taking my business elsewhere. I look forward to hearing your reply soon.

I was a Ford person through and trough intill now i would not buy another ford. One problem after another I own 3 ford diesel trucks with the 6.0 motor nothing but problems.I have replaced the heads on each truck.Trucks all have under 60k.The most recent problem is the fuel tanks are delaminating costing over $ 2300 to fix which i hear is a common problem and ford blames it on the fuel. How is it you have the same problem with each vehical yet FORD will not recall this issue?

i own a 1997 ford ranger but i had it for six years i had to repair almost ever thing on it i found out from puyllup transmions and larrys classies quetdy that the brake and trainey lock up with the master clyiner, power boster it slip gears in the trainey amco found that out in puyllup if there a warenty for the 1997 ford ranger model please let ever one no about it.

Just wanted to tell you that I believe my 2004 Ford Explorer, (and the good Lord), saved my life. Three weeks ago I was T-boned by a young girl, traveling at a high speed, through an intersection, in a Firebird. My beloved Explorer was totaled, and while I had a mild concussion and some neck injury, I'm alive. My side air bags worked just like they were supposed to, and the sturdy construction kept my door from caving in on me. I was hit on my side by the way. Just a few days before, we had a winter storm with a ton of snow. I live off a gravel road, in a rural area and have to have 4WD to get in and out. On the morning of the snow, my Explorer came out like it was nothing. The only thing I passed for quite a way was another Explorer. My husband drives a 4WD Ford Edge and he loves it. I'm looking for andther Explorer or maybe an Expedition.......I just can't tell you how grateful I am and how much I miss my vehicle. I would highly recommend the Ford line of trucks and SUV's. Thanks again.

I have a 07 ford f 150 extended cab. I just had a problem with my driveshaft. It is a 2 piece shaft with a center support bearing. I had just found out that there is no way to fix it. The drive shaft is not serviceable. The new driveshaft is 975 from the dealership. Who ever came up with this idea is a real asshole. I dont have the money in this economy to spend on this kind of repair. A local driveshaft shop is gonna build me a replacement that will be serviceable for 500.I never saw something so stupid in my life.

HOW DO YOU GET IN TOUCH WITH THE FORD CORPORATE OFFICES? #313--939-9928 THERE WAS A RE-CALL ON THE RADIATOR AND MCKENSEE FORD IN HILLSBORO OREGON REPLACED IT. AND PUT IN A NEW ONE 2 MONTHS AGO AND NOW IT LEAKS AND IT IS NOT COVERD. I NEED SOMEBODY TO EXPLAIN THIS FOR FORD SHOULD STAND BEHIND IT. CINDY LORENZ 503-820-1236

I previously owned a 2003 F350 and it was a 6.0 and unlike most, I was pleased with the truck and its perfomance. When it came time to purchase a new truck, I had no doubt that I would stick with a Ford. I purchased a 2008 F350 with 34K miles on it and it looked like a brand new truck. I used it through the months of summer and was very pleased with everything and bragged to all my friends how well a Ford is. With in the last week, I have been stranded two times as my truck read a code stating Stop Safely Now on the dash and gives you only minutes to get to the side of the road and you lose all power. After coming to a complete stop the truck shuts off and will not start or even attempt to crank. How dangerous. The first time this happened I called my wife, then a tow truck and had it towed to our home, as our garage counldn't get to it for a week. After the tow truck driver brought it to our house, he ask what was wrong as it started and drove just fine for him. I thought there must be a short or a problem with the theft device or something to that nature. It seemed to be working ok and I continued to drive it and it done it again. My father in law and I left it and went back a hour later to have it to start and run fine again. I ask several people at the Ford dealership and no one could understand the problem. I then found out about the inter-net and the huge amount of people having the same problem. I want to know why this is continuing to happen and why there hasn't been a recall, as this is a very very dangerous situation. Anyone that purchases this type of truck usually does a lot of pulling or hauling and we do as well with horses no less. I am very un happy with this situation with this truck and unless Ford does something to remedy this situation with these trucks, I seriously will have to change my brand of trucks and tell everyone that thinks about buying a Ford our story and steer them away from a Ford. Please contact your Ford dealership or contact the Ford Corporate Offices at 313-322-3000 and ask them what they intend to do about this matter. Seriously concerned, Randy

I see I'm not the only one disappoint in Ford. I want to share my story with anyone who owns a Ford truck. My husband brought his F-250 to Larson Ford in Lakewood NJ to get fix and two guys stole his truck off there lot within 30 seconds, while the employees watched we were not notified till the next day. There attitude was let the insurance handle it. They lied (3 different story's)to the detectives handling the case. They have not done nothing to replace the truck, after 2 1/2wks we had to go else where. They never reported it to there ins. co,. They said they tried to reach us which wasn't true, they treated us as if we were young teenagers willing to buy any bullshit story he was dishing out. When we called his bluff he just repeat to us "I understand". I don't think Ford understands, when they are going home to there big house and cozy family and I'm loosing money everyday. If I don't have a truck we don't make money and in this economy everyday counts. This is my husbands work truck this is how we make money with out there is no money. They didn't want to give us a rental,so I had to hire an attorney. After speaking to a detective in another state, I was told ALL the Ford F150s, F250s, and F350s are very easy to steal and Ford knows this. They didn't send out a recall because its not a liable to them. They just make make more money when you come in to purchase a new one with your ins. ck. The detective had several stolen in there area and some found from other states, so they setup a video tape to see how this is being done, and sure enough within 30 seconds its gone. I DON'T UNDERSTAND HOW Ford IS NOT LIABLE FOR THIS. Now I have a truck that my husband IS NOT HAPPY WITH and lucky us we now have truck payments which put us in a bad financial situation, do you really think FORD understands or really gives a SHIT!

dear sir i see ford is still making junck cars and trucks. my daughter has finnished collage and landed a hi paying job and needed a car, she drove the america made cars and after seeing so maney new america cars on honda and toyota lots she bought a toyota camery. i told her she just bought the best car ever made

I am so dissatisfied with Ford Motor Company!!! After being a loyal Ford owner for many years, following in my fathers footsteps, I will no longer be faithful. I own a 2002 Ford windstar, which makes it 8 years old. I have had to have the brakes replaced 4 times, gotten several recall notices for various things, my engine light has came on several times to which I have had major repairs done. Just last week I paid over $600 for repairs only to have the light come on again. I just received another recall notice regarding the rear axel. Now this is a car I drive with my 2 small children. I will be getting rid of this and will be going with a different make. I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH FORD MOTOR COMPANY AGAIN!!!!!

I JUST WANTED TO TELL YOU THAT I HAVEN'T HAD A GOOD FEELING ABOUT FORD PRODUCTS BECAUSE OF MY OWNERSHIP SEVERAL YEARS AGO (25 YEARS AGO) WOW! I DON'T KNOW THE NAME OF THE GENTLEMEN ADVERTISING ALL THE NEW FORDS ON TV BUT I CAN TELL YOU THAT HE IS GREAT. I AM THINKING ABOUT A FORD FIESTA NOW BECAUSE I PRIMARILY DRIVE LOCALLY BUT YOU DID NOT TAKE GOVERNMENT MONIES TO BAIL YOU OUT AND I CAN TRULY APPRECIATE THAT. OUR FAMILY HAS HAD A ROUGH COUPLE OF YEARS BUT IT LOOKS LIKE A FORD PRODUCT IS IN OUR FUTURE. YOU HAVE A PERFECT SPOKESPERSON FOR SELLING FORD VEHICLES. THANK YOU. PENNSYLVANIA THANKS YOU.

I am so disappointed in my purchase of my 2004 FORD EXPLOYER, I want to trade it in as soon as I have an opportunity. I am paying a $21,000 loan for this vehicle. I was driving it the 2nd day after purchase it would not move when I applied the gas pedal and then all of a sudden it would zoooooom off. Scarey, I called the dealer and he informed it is a common complaint in the 2003 and 2004 Ford Explorers. "I MUST JUST GET USE TO IT" It is now three months later and "I AM NOT USE TO IT" It is dangerous, especially when I am picking up my grand children at school and waiting in the "parent pick up parking line" I must be extremely careful and very slowly depress the gas pedal so I do not run into the person in front of me. I am very dissapointed FORD HAS NOT RECALLED THIS VEHICLE. I thought at times it seems to want to stop! I have attached (if this is possible) my complaint to PEN DOT. Please FORD OFFICIALS, DO YOU HAVE CHILDREN OR GRAND CHILDREN? Please investigate--this is very dangerous. I can say I "HATE" this vehicle and cannot wait to trade it in. I personally never owned a FORD product and I do not want to own another one.

i bought a 2002 lightning supposed to have been a 60000 mile one owner truck never wrecked or driven hard later found out it had been wrecked now motor is rattling cant get anything done what does a person do

I have a 2003 Lincoln Ford Aviator that I bought 2 years ago and it had then 50,000 miles on it when I bought it. I also bought the 2 year extended warranty to go with it. It now has approx. 99,000 miles on it and the transmission has gone out and has been going out for a year. I was taking it in regularly for problems with the gear stick sticking and the truck jerking everytime I put it in drive or reverse from park. The mechanic would always tell me it is supposed to jerk when you change gears. He even went so far as to take me to his old truck and said, "my truck even jerks like that." I told him he has an old truck, but I still could not get them to look at my truck properly. He would jerk on my shifter and say it is supposed to do that. Now I am out of pocket again for parts and labor tha were covered by warranty. My Hub cap assembly line was a mess but the mechanics explained to me they could not find the problem until I bought new tires, brakes, and rotors. Again I was out of pocket for parts that were under warranty because they could not find the problem. I had to take my vehicle to Beechlers so they could find the problem. They immediatetly found the problem and told me it was warranted and that the dealership should reimburse me for the charges. It did not happen. The owner of Velde Lincoln Ford in Peoria told me to quit threatening to take him to court. My advice is to research any used and certified vehicle you buy from them and watch out for those mechanics that learn how to lie to you so that their company and reap all the benefits, your money!!! Know your dealership because most of them are crooks.

HI MY NAME IS WAYNE VAUGHAN. I LIVE IN BOULDER CO I NEVER OWN A FOR CAR BE FOR I HAVE SOMETHING TO SAY TO THE MAKERS OF FORD. I HAVE A IDEA FOR THE FOR MAKERS. WEN THEY MAKE FORD CARS LIKE FOR ESCAPE AND OTHER FORD CARS THEY SHOULD PUT AIR VENTS IN THE BACK OF THE CENTER CONSUL WITH OWN CLIMATE CONTROL ON THE BACK OF THE CENTER CONSUL SO PEOPLE THAT SIT IN THE BACK CAN GET AIR TO NOT JUST THE FRONT PEOPLE THAT SIT IN THE FRONT OF A CAR. THE HONDA PILOTS THEY HAVE AIR VENTS AND OWN CLIMATE CONTROL IN THE BACK OF THE CENTER CONSUL I M SAY MAKERS OF FORD CARS SHOULD PUT AIR VENTS IN THE BACK OF THE CENTER CONSUL WITH OWN CLIMATE CONTROL SO THE PEOPLE THAT SIT IN THE BACK SEATS GET AIR. HERE IS MY E-MAIL ADDRESS BWAYNEV@EARTHLINK.NET FROM WAYNE PS YOU CAN E-MAIL ME BACK IF YOU WANT TO.

All I have to say is FORD SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Warning! Even if you are an honest customer of Ford, don't EVER expect them to help you out in a tough situation!!!! I will ride a tricycle before I EVER own another FORD!!!!!

My name is Asaf wolf; I bought my car (Ford Fiesta 2011) at Ford Plantation on 08/07/10. I was told by Debbie Annunziata that by the following Monday I will get a call from someone named Linda to set up an appointment to install an alarm on my new car. She right away added that charge to the total loan charge. It has been almost seven weeks since I purchased my car and I still did not get an alarm. They keep on telling me different things every week: the person was sick, there was a delay in the shipment, there was a code that they needed to get with the new alarm, and last it was that they are still waiting on the shipment, but they don't know why it is delayed. Every time I was told by either Debbie or Denzel, the sales person they will call us back and I never did. This is a shame to such a big company like Ford, and I am not willing to accept this poor customer service and false information I was given. I contacted both the dealer and the costumer service and this is still pending.
