My father had Farmer's Insurance on his home. The insurance premium was always paid up. There was a fire to his home and Farmer Insurance in Illinois has been doing an investigation which has lasted almost 2 years!!! My family and I are about to lose the home to foreclosure because no one was living there because the fire incident made it unlivable. Farmer's was to have paid to get the house repaired so that we could put it on the market for sale. We got notice that the bank is going to foreclose on the 26th of April unless back mortgage payments are made. This does not release Farmer's from its responsibility in settlement for the fire issue on the property. Farmer's Agent (Shaun) refuses to return my phone calls and is, as I am told, the one to make a final decision on the settlement. I have mentioned to another Agent that if "Shaun" does not make a decision, my family and I will move to sue Farmer's for negligence and causing us to lose our property too. Had Farmer's did what they were suppose to do, we could have had the property repaired, put it on the market for sale, paid off the mortgage company - and no foreclosure would ever have taken place. WE WILL BE MOVING TO SUE FARMER FOR DELIBERATELY STALLING SETTLEMENT ON THE FIRE!!!!

My car was hit by one of your ensured customers. Your insurance do not want to pay to fix my car even though your customers car was totaled, and she was given a citation by the policed officer. I want to be contacted by the Director of Farmers and I want this case review. Karina 0118220442

I THINK THAT YOUR ADDS ON TELEVISION ARE THE WORST THAT I HAVE EVERY SEEN. THERE TWO THAT ARE RACIST TO ME. The service I received from Farmers gets high points short of a couple of items. Firstly my experience with the rental car company has become a living nightmare. Secondly my experience with the auto-body company rates low as well. My complaint is I was told by Caliber auto-body repair that the repair of my truck would take 3 to 5 days, it totaled 22 days which brings into play Enterprise rents. The informed me to have full insurance on the rental vehicle it would be best for my protection to take out the extra coverage, I did. The reason I got into the rental in the first place is that the Farmers agent assured me from the outset that my rental expense would be fully covered. (Not the case) in the end. Bottom line now I have Enterprise coming after me for an $800.00 plus bill that I don’t feel I should be responsible for. Don't think this company is any better when it comes to getting your health bills paid for. I hate seeing Farmer's on a patient's intake form. It flags trouble, delay, stupidity, and non-payment in our eyes.

Married Farmers agent Sandi Geer was forced to have sex with her DM and move her agency 35+ miles away and is never requried to attend any district meetings to try and hide her now that people have found out! Married DM #66 Thomas Mundell forced her to have sex with him to keep her job then payed her off with polices (pif) = money and wants everything keep quit for his lack of ethics and now wants her out of Farmers! Thomas's wife Ann found out and also wants Sandi out of Farmers Insurance! That is so sad for Farmers corporate america and ethics as Sandi was a good girl at one time! Very sad that some Dm's have way too much money and too much time on there hands to do this! Thomas Mundell said it best of all! I have an Assistant Dm that does all my work for me and this lets me do what ever I want to! Like working 3 hours each day when he had his daily scheduled sex days at hotels! I think Farmers has an ethics problem here!!!

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR GOOD INSURANCE COVERAGE IN MONTANA OR IN THE USA - BYPASS FARMERS INSURANCE... THEY WERE A TRUSTED COMPANY AT ONE TIME (IN THE PAST ) BUT IN RECENT YEARS THE COMPANY DESERVES THE LOWEST RATING IT CAN GET FOR GOOD SERVICE AND FOR NOT PAYING OUT FOR JUSTIFIED CLAIMS.

I have been trying to transfer my accounts to a different Farmers Insurance agent for over 6 months and it has been a flipping disaster. It is a bunch of BS. I have had to call a gazillion times and sign a transfer three different times and it still hasn't been completed correctly. I am on the phone right now threatening to go to All State if the can't remove the old agent from my records. I also paid for insurance by phone and they billed me again anyway. A district manager was fired and a bunch of files ended up missing.

WILL NEVER EVER REFER ANYONE TO FARMERS! I READ MOST OF THE COMMENTS ABOUT FARMERS AND SAD TO SAY, I HAVE EXPERIENCED SOMEWHAT OF THE SAME THING. I WILL BE GOING TO NATIONWIDE AS WELL!

well thanks for all the bad reports about farmers let me tell my story which i don't understand how u going to insure someones car for 2 months and they don't know it then send a bill in the mail saying you owe $232.99.First of all just cause you sign a policy doesn't mean you insure someones car you collect a premium first,second of all farmers is low down and dirty and hell no i will never recommend them to anyone piss on them.By the way my agent was MARILYN SHAW who"s dense and tried to argue me up and down they can insure your car without a premium being paid WHERE DO THEY DO THAT AT Janesville,Wisconsin i guess.

Over twenty years of being loyal customer. Right after Chrisymas received letter that Farmers was cancelling home owners policy over a small area of peeling paint on house. Contacted agent regarding this, he would get back to us. Weeks went by and husband had to call him. Now excuse is Ike claims. Yes, I live in Texas, NORTH of Houston. We had no hurricane claim, our fence took a beating, but we did not file claim.Have had home and trucks covered for years with only one claim. Tree limb fell on house did minor roof damage. We figured this scam out on our own, if you are a BIG spender with Farmers they are keeping you, if you are the LITTLE guy they are kicking you to the curb.I will NEVER use or recomend Farmers to ANYONE, I hope to see the day this BS catches up to them.

Farmers insurance company is the worse company I've had & still dealing with at fighting to get what is owed to me for a vandalisum of my auto PLUS fighting to get reimburst for a locksmith to get into my other auto. The agents are the most irresponsible people I've ever known. I given agent copy of receipt for reimbursement & agent claims he LOST it, did not call me to inform me of it I still waiting for reimbursement. Every channel I been through they all have an excuse not to help me so in my book they are THIEVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Wow! After seeing this website I totally get why i am having such a bad time with them. They are just a bad insurance company and I would not ever recommend the or purchase insurance with Framers. I was hit by one of Framers clients and I was injured and my car was a total loss and they are only offering me a settlement of $700.00 for pain and suffering and I have had to put out of my pocket over $4,000.00 not to mention what my insurance company has paid out about $45,000.00 "DON'T BUY FRAMERS!"

If you are a logical person, you will realize that the only people who have the energy to fill out one of these is someone who is unhappy with the product. Out of the millions of customers of Farmers who are exceedingly happy, there are going to be a few who are not, either because they don't understand the insurance process or they something fell through the cracks. Rememeber, many insurance carriers left California because we have too many uninsured accidents and too many earthquakes and too many riots and Lakers Games civil disobedience and they can't afford us anymore. Farmers stayed with us for 80 years in spite of all of it. The other type of person who fills these out is someone who works for another insurance carrier. (it happens often on the net - to doctors, to dentists, to accountants). Sometimes they are trying to discredit the company so you'll use THEIR company. So take it with a grain of salt!

Bunch of morons - their guy hit me - but he gets up to 9 days to decide if he's going to call and tell his side of the claim or not. MEanwhile, I'm out of pocket -

Hmmmm WOW! After reading these reviews on Farmers Insurance, It all makes sense. After 30 years with Farmers Insurance on both mortgage and 2 auto policies..... THEY HAVE MANAGED TO LOOSE ME! Not because of a claim not paid, but because of BAD customer service and Company Policy. I wish I could express my feelings about Farmers to someone in the company that might care.. Bye.. Bye.. Farmers! Never again.. will you get my business. Oh, By the way! I'm an ambassador for our Local Chamber of Commerce. I will spread the word!

It's really hard to believe these positive reviews. My car suffered windshield and other damage on the I80 freeway near Roseville, CA on September 28, 2010. Here it is November 3 and Farmers agents are "too busy" to evaluate my claim. I must say that I paid to have the windshield repaired as that was the most important. I don't know if someone threw a rock from an overhead of what. Farmers hasn't even looked. These is much more damage. This company "sucks". 21st Century never treated people this way.

Farmers I hope somebody gets this because I am very unhappy with agent Steve Evens in Mesa Arizona. I have been a loyal customer for 25 years and been with Farmers since I was 16. Well I have ask Steve to help me reduce my home owners and car insurance and he has stated he can't so I went with another company that gave me the same rates and two hundred dollars cheaper a month. Well needless to say I called him and left a message to cancel my Farmers Insurance but he never had the gall to call me back and even ask why and can I do something for you. Well with this kind of attitude I do not want to be associated with Farmers anymore. You may want to consider that your company lowers their rates in Arizona.
