Horrible

Expedia has been one of the worse experiences I ever had to endure. They have the worse customer service, they are unwilling to help you in any way. They keep you on the phone for hours. According to them, everyone is a manager. But when dealing with the manager they never help. Worse service. they screwed us over for 1400 dollars. I hate expedia. Never book thru them, you will be sorry

Fraud!!!

Expedia is the worst!!! They advertised that two free tickets to Las Vegas shows would be included in the package. When I went to print my intinerary and vouchers I was informed that the tickets and promotion expired!!!! When I called customer service they were not helpful at all!!!! HORRIBLE!!!

NO Customer service at ALL!!!!!

Been on hold for well over an hour just trying to get a flight.WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!!!

Worst Customer Experience ever

Expedia itinerary number: 151214480222 Hotel cancelled, and I was asked to call and rebook. I was told repeatedly that my next xhoice was $189. per night, although my computer showed it as 151.20 on the EXPEDIA WEBSITE. Then I was told it was unavailable for booking. I called on another phone, booked it myself, at 151.20. have tried to cancel my reservation, with a 5 hour 47 minute call back time. Fourth attempt today to reconcile- even American Express is surprised at poorly I am being treated.

FREE CANCELLATION POLICY IS BS

Their cancellation policy reads as follows: Cancellations or changes made after 4:00 PM (Eastern Daylight Time (US & Canada)) on 04 March, 2013 are subject to a hotel fee equal to the first night's rate plus taxes and fees. Cancellations or changes made after check-in on 04 March, 2013 are subject to a hotel fee equal to 100% of the total amount paid for the reservation. However upon calling them on March 1st (outside of the penalty window), I am told that if I want to remove one night they must cancel the entire reservation and rebook it at the current rate, meaning absolutely no refund whatsoever. Thanks Expedia for providing false information on your website. Customer service in the Phillipines is useless and just parrot back the same things over and over. Never doing business with this company again and I book lots of corporate travel. I read the fine print before booking to avoid this kind of thing. Expedia is a lying, shady company. Avoid at all costs!

Can not contact anyone at this office

Pressing the number to leave a message in the corporate mail box results in recording that it can not be transferred. Dialing 0 for "other inquiries" results in phone ringing but no answer

Hotels.com

I recently book a hotel which hotel.com which they overbook me, so in return they gave me 100.00 dollars voucher, which i later used, but due to an emergency i had to cancel my booking so i called hotels.com they said that they were not able to refund my voucher, i will not used hotel.com because they have poor costumer service training and failed miserably to make me a happy costumer.

Fraudulent Billing

Horrible experience. Billed and paid for several weeks before trip - 7 days at Barcelo Resort in Cabo San Lucas. On arriving to the resort we were informed that Expedia booked the room as a single person for 4 days, and the other single for three days requiring us to pay 12383.25 pesos (aprox.$1000.00 US) to keep us together in continuity - significantly above our budget. Expedia has refused to reimburse us for this ammount. We will never do bussiness with Expedia again!

NIGHTMARE - they stranded my grandpa!

I used to love Expedia.. I always suggested it to people. Always used it for business and vacations. Worse than just Not giving a shit on the phone it is my grandfather, who I booked the trip for, that suffers. I have been on hold, hung up on, passed on... literally over 18 hours lost to their call center. They "accidentally" cancelled his trip (while en route!) and now "cant" get a return flight! DO NOT USE EXPEDIA- EVER. I will repeat this to every person I can communicate with.

-They do not honor their price guarantee

This is my 7th call to Expedia..been hung up on 3 times by the call center in Philippines and have asked for supervisor after supervisor. The ticket was way more than booking directly from the airline and they kept using every excuse in the book! Everyone apologizes and tells you to hold on, but never actually does anything. I think they try to wear you down so you just accept it. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM>>

bad experiencew/expedia

On 1/30/13 I book a package to Orlando florida. fr philadelphia for 4/3 nights. non stop with US air OK, picked up at air with town car taken to the worst part of Orlando where prostitues and drunks are all over and dirt on the walls, then when i was outraged they wantedme to pay a cancellation fee, to be put in a dump, after I have used them for nothing but up-scale trips for years. Shame on your company for this.

never experienced such poor customer service!!!

First an email that Aeromexico changed our flight such that connections were not possible. Then an hour+ conversation with Expedia resulted in empty promises and a "disconnection of the phone". After being emailed that my family was placed into the exact flight I said I did not want as it conflicted with work and school schedules, I called back and am told "You have no choice unless you want to pay sunstantial fees...Expedia opted to accept a flight for you and you are stuck" Furthermore the hotel voucher originally offered as compensation was never a reality either. Expedia will never get business from me again! I may be one small peon to them -- but I am one small peon that spends alot of travel dollars!

Terrible Service!

I was traveling for business and had to change my travel itinerary and had to contact the customer support number 6 times. The rep stated they were located in the Philippines and had very poor connection. I had to spend over 90 minutes to simply change my flight, hotel and car. I already had all of the new information (flight numbers, hotel info, etc) when I called but because of their 'connection' it took and extremely long time, not to mention the outrageous fees to change my travel.

I have been on the phone since 10:30 this morning have talked to about 10 people dropped 4 times and still no reservation needless to ssay booking with someone else.

Unpleasant Surprise

Reviewed itinerary @ noon today b/c today is the last day to cancel. Discovered lower price so called "customer service" which wouldn't adjust price b/c of Expedia's rules. So tried to cancel reservation and was told cancellation time is 12:00 a.m. on the last day to cancel (which is inconsistent with typical cancellation policies in the U.S. hotel industry), a "fact" that is not printed on the the Expedia transaction receipt. So, no price reduction and no cancellation = no more Expedia. Suggest Expedia be used only for price shopping.

BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE

Expedia is not an ethical company. It hires people who have no scruples about lying. You can usually get help from Corporate but their corporate Tier 3 Supervisors are not empathic nor are their customer service skills very good. Once an employee lies, everyone else follows suit with one lie after another. It's almost as if they are trained to handle every situation with a lie. They are very skilled in cover up scenarios. Expedia, Inc needs a new set of guidelines for their customer service department and lots and lots of ethical training.

Expedia

Worst customer service and borderline fraud. We purchased tickets in the mornig from San Diego to Boston through Expedia on JetBlue. In the evening we saw that booking directly on JetBlue was $20.00 less per ticket and we purchased 4 tickets. We wanted a 5th and called to get the price gaurantee and then to purchase the 5th ticket at the lower price shown on JetBlue. After being placed on hold for 40 minutes, the refund was processed and we were told we now needed to buy the last ticket on the website, give the agent the confirmation # and then she would refund the additional $20.00. She waited on the phone while I was purchasing the ticket and as the transaction was almost complete, she disconnected us. I called back and was placed on hold 10 more minutes, then asked to be transferred to a supervisor, was disconnected again at that point and had to call back and wait on hold. Two more times of waiting 10-20 minutes, explaining the situation and then getting disconnected, I was finally connected with someone who confirmed that the credit was processed but could not credit the 5th ticket because in the time that I was on hold and hung up on, the price went back up and they would not honor the last ticket change even though an hour earlier they saw the price was lower and had they not hung up on me and kept me on hold each time I called back, the transaction would have been processed before the price change took effect. Not sure if they kept me on hold, and disconnected me on purpose to contact Jet Blue and have them raise the price back before I could reach someone but the right thing to do is to honor the lower price because it is their fault I was hung up and disconnected and had to keep calling for an hour and a half.

Heydehi

Absolutely the most maddening booking agency to deal with! Tier 3 is the corporate customer support (425.679.7200). Hotelsone.com, as well as Hotel.com, are some of their booking agents. Their agents do not honor best price guarantee. I was quoted $1076 for a booking that Travelocity (competitor to Expedia) listed for $560. Same hotel, dates and room. Expedia said they would not honor the lower price. Many other issues, but I'm tired of dealing with Expedia.

They increased the price in the middle of my transaction. Unbeliavable! Called their customer service to get an explanation and complain. They sent an email saying that 'Our records show that this matter was resolved on December 4, 2012". With who? how? when? I don't know if I should laugh or get more angry, but I will not deal with them again. FYI, Hotwire is owned by Expedia, use extreme caution.

Expedia's worthless guarantee!

Expedia's so-called "Best Price Guarantee" is worthless. They WILL NOT honor it. I recommend avoiding Expedia. Oh, yes...one other thing: their customer service is terrible: long holds, uncooperative people, disconnected calls, endless wasted time.
