Well I tried to get a rental car but was told I couldn't because some one in Anderson sc had a car out already. I have never been to Anderson sc. The next day enterprise in Anderson sc called and told me the woman returned the car. I asked since they checked id did she look like me enough to get a car, he told me they didn't really check the I and that I could get a car now that there was no damage done to the car. She paid with a money order so I asked did the name on the back of the money order match my ID card and he told me he wasn't sure he didn't pay any attention. So I asked was there any information that she left while filling out paperwork. He told me they didn't have any information for her. On that note I will be sheikh enterprise for fraudulent activity. You will be hearing from my lawyers as soon as possible.

I rent it a vehicle for travel this past weekend and when I called the on call manger informed me that my confirmed rental car was unavailable and there was nothing he could do. This happened on Saturday morning of Memory day weekend. Myself and family had nowhere to turn. Weekend was a awful. The location that where this took place Oxford NC Enterprise.

I made the mistake of having to rent a car from Enterprise. Car broke down location I was at didn't have any cars so they drove me farther away to a different location. ONLY car was a truck at $99.99 a day. I had 2 small children to pick up, picked them up then returned truck. Total time 2 hours, 12 miles. They charged me $99! Called made a complaint was told regional manager would call. No one called! This is customer service?! I THINK NOT

I wont give much time to writing a horrible review . My time is valuable and there are enough bad reviews to read through to next year. I think one of the news shows should be called upon and they should show some awesome undercover stories on t.v. wont fix the problem possibly but a little justice is rewarding.no actors needed. this is everyday horrible, rude ,bad attitude, abrubpt, no customer service having, business as usual , day in day out life at enterprise rental car.

Gottcha Rentals

Recently I rented a four-day car rental from Enterprise in Seattle. This is to happen following a ship cruise to Alaska. The rate was great, and buoyed by the cheery "We Will Pick You Up!" announcement, I was shocked to find that the office I had rented from will not pick me up at all. They told me to use a "closer" office to the dock, but unfortunately my rates would go up. In this case about 200%. This is as close to bait and switch as it gets, and some loan sharking thrown in. Yes I understand the highly competitive nature of rentals in the summer, but this situation is well known and fixed. Why can't Enterprise coordinate all the Seattle offices to handle customer needs like mine? I'm not going to hold my breath for relief.

Rude customer service

I made an online reservation with the Stone Park, Illinois location. Everything went fine. I called the Stone Park office two days later to confirm the rental and the young man answering the phone was rude and unprofessional. He told me "If your utility bill does not have a $0 balance we ain't gone rent to you!". I promptly called ANOTHER Enterprise location and a WONDERFUL employee "Melissa Peoples" helped me transfer to another location! God Bless Her...I hope she trains new employees because of her I stayed with Enterprise!!! Thank you very much Melissa Peoples....

Corp Office Gave GREAT Service

I had an issue with a location and when I called the Corporate office they were very professional and gave me a resolve. Brian was wonderful very helpful and professional.

Poor new company policy

I was so dissatisfied when I tried to do a weekend rental and was told by your employee that I could no longer rent with a prepaid card and full coverage insurance. That is the first time in twenty years that I haven't been able to rent from you. I am certain unless you reverse that policy I won't be comin back. And I won't recommend any family or friend do the same.

Scam business

This company has the rudest and youngest people anywhere .I guess they don't want to pay their employees much. The turnover rate seems to be weekly. The average IQ is about 70 -- no potential Google employees here. They rip you off and laugh about it. This seems to be company policy and it's so widespread. NEVER AGAIN. I'LL WALK FIRST.

Greedy, No Service

Terrible service, dirty cars -- often in need of service, constant turnover of local managers who are much too inexperienced for their jobs. The "anti-service" car rental corp. And they specialize in ripping you off when it come to their gas tanks!!! Stay!!!!

This is the worst rental car agency I have worked with. I spoke to 4 people today and they were all rude! They were young and rude! I will not spend a dime with them.

Scam

Rented a car in Asheville, NC from Enterprise for 4 days. When we signed the contract we mentioned a scratch on the back and the representative kept saying the car was fine they had inspected it. When we returned the car they stated there was hail damage (only to the trunk). There was no hail in the Asheville area during the rental. Also, there was a scratch under a front door. When the scratched was looked at it we pointed out it was rusted. Another employee told my daughter he agreed with her about the rust but they were going to investigate. We didn't damage the car. This is so not right!

Rip off Company

Enterprise Rent A Car. Is the worst company to rent from. I have rented two times with them. My car was stolen. My insurance co put me back into a rental with Enterprise. They are unwilling to let me rent the car. I was paying up front for the Insurance threw Enterprise. They turned me down due to my credit. They have my card on file plus I was paying up front with a money order for the Insurance.. BEWARE OF ENTERPRISE THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF. The SCORE From ME IS A NEGATIVE......

Filthy cars with no gasoline. They expect a full tank when return. Be carful with the office in La Habra, Ca., they like to B.S. while you try to read the contract, then they would add charges that you did no authorize. It is a nice way for the employees to make some cash award

Bad Service. Again.

I should have learned lesson 1st time, but gave this location here in Pearland Texas (Hwy 288 Svc King) another try. Mistake. Very slow. Cars all dirty inside/out. Waited again one and half hr. for car. Even had appointment! - Now I believe it is important to write this rweview. Perhaps it will help

Always an issue

Rented from Enterprise on several occassions and always some issue. Dirty cars, incorrect billing and always trying to switch you into a larger more expensive vehicle. Many times don't have vehicle type you reserved.

Outrageous damage charge

Always thought Enterprise was as good or better than other rental car companies UNTIL they SCREWED a family member who returned a car with a few miscroscopic SURFACE scratches and notifed her via mail that she was responsible for the over $800 it cost to fix the TINY scratches. Think Enterprise and some care repair shop are making a killing off naive people. My family refused to pay the entire outrangeous charge and Enterpise sent her account to a collection agency instead of working out a reasonable agreement. BEWARE!!!

nationwide scam!!! Going on for years

I too will be short on details. Check ripoff report.com. Put in "Enterprise bogus damage claims". F.Y.I. National, Budget, and Enterprise are all owned by the same CEO. That's according to all i've read on this situation. Best to all.

not good

I had set up a reservation for a rental for business meeting. Received confirmation and even a call. I had scheduled to pick up a car at nine o clock am. At eight thirty I received a call stating that they did not have a car for me to rent that I would be put on a list. It has been five hours and no call. Would have had appreciated a call so that I might have been able to get rental elsewhere without missing my important business meeting. Have rented dozens of times and never been this bad. Sorry I'm not a huge corporation so losing money for not being able to make meeting and talk with possible new customer. Will be sure to inform every company I know about this. Unbelievable
