84 Reviews For Embassy Suites Hotel Headquarters & Corporate Office

I have been a long standing Hilton Honors member. My last hotel stay was not well. Not only were we treated as vagrants in a facility where we paid to be. I was given a bill of sale which reflects my charges, showing a zero balance. Now I receive my credit card statement and it reflects that they have added an additional night to my reservation and charged my card an amount I did not authorize. There were no damages or anything. They simply took it upon themselves to add an additional night and I was not notified of anything. The customer service is poor and I would not recommend this facility to no one.

Embassy Suites - Minneapolis Airport After seeing the reviews perhaps I will be better off staying at the competition's hotel. I had made a 2 night reservation in April for a business trip and we chose this location. I was meeting 7 other people here. The schedule was revised and the meeting was ending a day early so I called to get my reservation modified. I was staying the first night and canceling the second. First the reservationist canceled the wrong night. Put me on hold again trying to reach the hotel. Couldn't reach the hotel. Then put her supervisor on the line. She advised the manager on duty (4/24/12) said the reservation had to be two nights and they would not let me stay there 4/25 unless I wanted to pay for two nights. No thanks. Not only is this a huge inconvenience for me but I am livid. I had no trouble locating another hotel where I could make a reservation for one night. Glad that Hilton Honors membership I have is paying off. Thanks!

I could not be more frustrated. I have been calling every number on the internet- including the corporate headquarters- in order to get a front-desk phone number for the Tulsa location that is currently under-going reconstruction. I have been out-sourced overesas or put on hold for great lenghts of time and NEVER got a phone number. Who imagined that contacting one of the hotels could be so difficult? Well, they lost a stay of several nights at one of their locations, and we will be sure to pass this bad experience on to our friends.

On the weekend of March 3, 2012 I stayed at the Embassy Suite in Ventura County at Mandalaya Bay. WOW if you were to review the web page and the pictures you would have thought it was a resort. It was aweful, the rates were expensive because of the location on the beach. The purpose of my stay was to attend a retirement function. The food was aweful. The salmon fish smelled like it just came out of the water. The service was good. When i went to my room, the first thing i noticed the outer door leading to the hallway did not lock. The handles on the 2nd floor leading to the west exit was filthy and appeared to be corison from being from water. The room door was peeling and the door was dirty. There was cob webs in the bathroom and the air vents were filty. To pay 171.00 dollars you expect the facility to be clean. I could not wait to eat break. The food was aweful. What do you expect when the banquet food was bad. The oatmeal was like it stuck/and it was nasty. The omelet was like a scrambled egg without the fold. How could you mess up basic food. The only thing good on the menu good was the juice. The staff were not willing to help make my stay comfortable. The managers were really unconcerned. I had such a positive experience at the Embassy Suite in Valencia, California I really thought this would have been great. I am requesting a refund or compensation. I noticed after reviewing the above complaints i am sure nothing will happen. I check the reviews before i booked the hotel and of course these were hidden. It a shame.

I WILL NEVER STAY IN YOUR HOTELS AGAIN!!!!!! I stayed in the embassy suites of southfield. I had two rooms 328 and 329. I checked in on the 11th of February and checked out the 12th. On that Monday the 13th I discoverd 4 bed bug bites on both of my arms. I called the hotel and spoke with the general manager about my concerns. He was suppose the call me back and never did. I have sent emails and still no response. So I can only assume that this issue was not important enough for anyone to call me back. I paid good money for these rooms. I think it is rude and unprofessional not to take this seriously. The problem can get alot worse if it is not taken care of.

Just returned home from celebrating our anniversary at Embassy Suites Minneapolis Airport. Things were not good with our stay. Our 1st suite was not vacuumed. Peanuts, candy, paper clips & sequence on floor. The windows inside had food& finger prints smeared. Found dirty silverware, napkins left in room. Had a dirty wash cloth left hanging on shower curtain rod. Stained curtains and carpet. Jenna from the front desk moved us to another suite and things were no better. I did not report any of our discomforts from suite #2 until check-out because we were pre-paid and the hotel was full. We just lived with the 2nd suite having smeared windows inside, dry blood splatters on wall, stained curtains, garbage under bed, lost hot water during showers, and fridge froze everything. The air intake into the suite had excessive dust built up blowing into the suite. Room serv. took 3 trips to get our order correct. Could not regulate the room temperature. My last complaint is about having to ask other guests' children to stop yelling and running through the building after 11:00p. Our 2 night stay would have been more pleasurable at another Hotel. The positive that I have to say about our experience is that the front desk staff was very professional, apologetic and accommodating to the best of their abilities. The management and front end staff receive 5 stars however there needs to be a review of the maid service, maintenance staff and room service for Embassy Suites to regain their previous reputation and high regard I once had.

Embassy Suites - Denver Southeast on Hampden is an amazing hotel. i have been coming here many many years and it is always clean, updated decor, yummy food, amazing staff who will do anything for you to help make you feel comfortable. Hot tub was hot and bubbly, pool wa cool and relaxing. We just live a few hours away and all our daughter wanted to do for her 15th birthday, was to come to this Emvassy Suites and relax with her family and frienda. Than you Embassy Suites Denver Southeast for always making our family feel welcimed and comfortable everytime we atay at your hotel.

The Embassy Suites in Syracuse, NY, should be closed. It is filthy and the service is terrible. I stayed there 1-4-12 and 1-5-12. The front entrance was under construction with only one side door available for use that would not stay open when bringing the luggage cart in. As soon as I got there I wanted to leave, but Expedia said I could not cancel (cancel date was 1-3-12 (a day before I got there) and the desk clerk also said I could not cancel because the room was already paid for. There were hardly any guests there. The place was very dark - the lights were kept off so the guests could not see how filthy the hotel was. My room was room 528 and was filthy. The walls/wallpaper were all scratched up and peeling off the wall. The bathroom had mouse droppings along the top counter/sink. The desk clerk basically said that I was stuck and I could not get a refund. The walls in the front room looked like someone had urinated on them. The free breakfast was terrible. A McDonald's big breakfast would have been better. The cook was also the cleaner and she was viewed sweeping the floor and picking up garbabe and then going behind the counter to cook an omelette. The omelettes were cold, which surprised me since it looked like they were being cooked. The potatoes were still frozen. All the furniture in the dining area was broken. The chairs sagged and the seats had big rips in them. The manager's reception was bad, too. It was so dark that you couldn't see what the snacks were. The beer was warm. There were two guys sitting at a table next to me who were laughing about how they snuck in to the Embassy Suites and they were drinking for free. Like I said before, the furniture in the dining area was broken down and old. I asked one of the ladies how old the hotel was and she said 18 years. I asked her how old the furniture was and she said 18 years. The pool was polluted and the water was green. I decided not to go swimming early in the morning because I saw algae stuck to the side of the pool. Like I said previously, the place is a dump. I complained to Expedia and they said they couldn't do anyting about it. I tried to reach the manager several times and have still not heard back. The place is bad news. The rate was around $139 a night. I stayed at a Radisson in Cleveland earlier in the week for $55.00 a night. That hotel was 10 times better and the breakfast was a real breakfast. Plus, there weren't any mice in my room at the Radisson. There are a bunch of hotels by the Embassy Suites in East Syracuse. My recommendation is to stay at the Hampton Inn right down the street. This experience has been very bad for me and now I am wondering if all the Embassy Suites are bad. The corporate management of Embassy Suites needs to clean up that hotel. Expedia is no help. As a matter of fact, the clerk at the Embassy Suites in East Syracuse told me I should have booked the room direct with them because I was overpaying booking with Expedia. I will not use Expedia again, either. Everywhere I go, I will tell people how bad Expedia and Embassy Suites are for overcharging me for a dirty, filthy room and for very bad service.

My adult son(college student) stayed at Embassy Suites in Hampton VA. It was the worst hotel experience he has ever experienced. He had a D3100 camera and JVC video camera stolen from his room. Later that night around 7:30 when he discovered he did not have his camera bag he immediately contacted the hotel,as well as, returned to the hotel. Just as the others stated he did not receive cooperation. The housekeeping staff was not concerned at the least, did not allow him to go search the room. The room had not been booked so it was empty. I called and left a message for Housekeeping but no one returned my call. I called again spoke with the Assist Manager, Tamara, that answers the phone Housing Keeping without identifying herself. She did not show any concern at all. She was not professional or customer friendly. She did not identify herself by name until I requested her name. She states their employee's baggage is search before entering and leaving the building on a daily basis. I called back to informed Housekeeping a police report was filed. I do hope the next time my son's organization plan an event they do not use Embassy Suites. Also, someone with the group had a laptop stolen. After reading the reviews I notice their are similar thief stories. Are the complaints investigated????

I recently returned from a business trip to L.A. where I stayed at the Airport Embassy Suites. I arrived on 17 October in the late afternoon. The next morning, I got up showered and got dressed to attend my meeting. That evening I returned from the day and met my traveling companions for dinner then returned to my room for the evening. The next morning, 19 October, I got up, showered and got dressed at which time I first looked for my jewelery case to change my earrnings. That is when I discovered that my jewelery case was gone from my outter luggage pocket where I usually keep it. I always take a carryon and never check my bag. There is no question that the maid from your hotel or any other service staff that had access to my room took the jewelery. My fault for not putting the jewelery case in the safe but I didn't know there was a safe and quite frankly, I travel a lot and have never had a problem as I stay in what I consider to be good hotels like Embassy Suites. I reported the theft to the front desk and their attitude was very unconcerned. The front desk clerk said he would report the incident to the hotel housekeeping manager. I admitted that I had not used the safe but thought they would like to know that a thief is working for the hotel. That evening, I came back to the hotel and went up to my room only to find the door to my room left adjar. I am a woman traveling and am very concerned with security so to find the room door left open was a shock. I went in to find that the maid had been there because the bed had been made. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk and asked what was the result of the missing jewelrey. The front desk clerk told me that the housekeeper manager interregated the staff that was assigned my room and said they found my door adjar when they came to make the bed. That is an absolute falsehood as I sercued the door when I left. In addition, they implied that I left it adjar again and when I explained I had just returned to my room and found the door adjar it would be impossible for me to have left it since the maid had already made the bed and would have been the last person in the room. I was amazed at the complete lack of concern over my loss and the fact that someone left my door adjar. I will not ever stay at that hotel again and my business takes me to L.A. routinely. I also plan to warn others. You have a problem at that hotel and you need to fix it. Sincerely, Lynda Prestarri

My husband had a business trip and I accompanied him. We stayed @ the Deerfield location on Lake Cook Rd. We booked a smoking room, but it was ground level right next to the highway = VERY noisy! I asked if we could switch rooms. They said "we're sold out". I tried to take a nap (I take my box fan anywhere I sleep), but it was still ridiculously loud. I returned to front desk and spoke to the same young lady, I asked if there were any cancellations. She said no. I asked if ALL guests had checked in (it was 4pm on the dot), she said no. I asked if we could switch rooms again smoking or not. She said no, because they were sold out. I asked if the guests who had yet to check in had requested SPECIFIC rooms, she said "um actually they do request specific rooms." Did they think I would really believe that, I'm not stupid. I asked for the manager. She was NOT happy to HAVE to do this. She tried to give us a double bed, but we were paying for a king size bed. That made her more upset, sighing heavily she tapped a few buttons...problem solved...very begrudgingly! NOW the MAJOR PROBLEM. My husband and I along with another co-worker staying here went into the hot tub. The next day the co-worker got a diagnosis of a VERY contagious condition, which can multiply & spread rapidly in poorly maintained hot tubs. I'm not saying they maintain it poorly, but I have no idea. The hotel staff hadn't been informed so the possible problem hadn't been addressed. PRIVATELY between 3-4AM, I told the front desk that a GUEST had gotten this diagnosis and the hot tub should be sanitized to reduce risk to others. She told the day staff, who in turn ABSOLUTELY HUMILIATED the co-worker!!! They had already looked to see who we were traveling "with". They knew where the two of them were working and @ the VP's request, the concierge CALLED THE WORKPLACE. They gave the co-workers name and exact diagnosis. This caused huge problems, humiliation, and not to mention THEY violated HIPAA laws. Yes, d/t them having a fitness center they must train and maintain these privacy regulations. Then when the whole thing blew up, they tried to put all the blame on me. They are scared because this is major. They should have welcomed the info and rectified the problem. Instead they maliciously went after this guest. WHAT ON EARTH were they trying to accomplish? The VP really did nothing but yell and swear @ me(but my husband was not allowed to swear) before he hung up on me. After we had checked out I stopped @ the General Managers desk. With the concierge giving me a look of death, I asked for the name and # of someone above the VP I had spoken to. The GENERAL MANAGER stated he would "have to get back to me", because he "didn't know who that would be." Seriously people. They were willing to humiliate the guest, but not lose the income be "evicting" the guest. Oh and the tubs in both rooms were moldy/mildewed like another complaint above (I did not complain). I think the co-worker will take legal action, and I may too. This fiasco has been causing so much distress. I haven't stopped crying about this because if I hadn't said anything they couldn't have embarrassed the co-worker. My husband was put in the middle of it all, because his wife said something. I thought he may lose his job. I would do it again to protect others, but it would be a completely anonymous call.

I'll keep it short and simple. The Embassy Suites Niagara Falls ruined our honeymoon with "switch and bait" room charge tactics. (Also a deposit of $50 per night requirement that was nowhere printed, published, nor discussed was added to our room. Husband receives emails via cell phone when credit card balance is over limit. This was causing his credit card to be overdrawn. Hotel matress was hard, carpet needs to be replaced. The only positive thing was the view of the falls. We were to stay 3 nights, ended up staying 1, checked out, left Canada and ended up at Geneva on the Lake, Ohio, which was a good experience for us.

Don't book an Event at the Embassy at Atlanta Airport, You will be Sorry. I have had several events at this hotel with no problems. My husband book a Birthday Party and the night mare started. The planner was not there on the day of the event, which of all the entire events I had there the planner was always there. I was told that they do not have to be. The fruit display came out late on a plain tray. A display is to be as a center piece for your food table. Am I right? The ham station had no bread, until one of the guests notice it. Most of the guest had already gone threw the line. Ham was so fat you could see the fat. Meatballs did not look as the whole order was there. You could see the bottom of the pan before guest started to eat no sauce on them. Late set up, guests was outside of the banquet waiting. It was as if someone forgot an event was to happen and they thought about it and done a RUSH JOB. We paid 3000 and some Dollars. And when I called about getting some of my money back. I went from one person to the next for a week. Finally some one called and offers me weekend stay and 210.00 dollar for the fruit display. That was not acceptable. After going on with this lady for about 45mins. She offers to give $410.00 instead of the weekend stay. That was agreeable and she said she would place it back on my credit card. It's been a week nothing have been place on my card. Have left several messages for Kimberly Maxwell. No one has called. As you can see Embassy Suite do not care about their customers.

1)My family can only give them a (1) because we can not give them a (-10). 2)We had very poor service and had no A/C in our room. 3)The meat at breakfast was very cold. 4)The windows did not have any screens in them so we could not open them for some fresh air at night.

I was raped by a staff member at the Embassy Suites, given a date rape drug, and lied to. To date, nothing has been done on their end to make this situation any less traumatic. Horrible. Absolutely horrible. I will never be the same.

Horrible HORRIBLE customer service. I had an issue at the hotel and talked to management and they said they would fix it. It has been half a month and I still get jerked around every freaking day by them. NEVER EVER STAY WITH THIS HORRIBLE CHAIN.

I was at the Embassy Suites and had a similar experience and my son slipped in the tub taking a shower and hit his ribs. Scared for a second, but he was okay. I would still give Embassy Suites and Outstanding rating because of the excellent service from Abcde Avilla-Spragling, Kenny Shimabuku and Davin Kawakami "D". They all assisted my family with directions, great places to see and just plain out friendliness. Smiles all the time and for all them to greet everyday was great. Second time at the Embassy Suites Oahu and it was clean and not run down like most hotel get after a couple of years.

On August 19th & 20th 2011 we attended a Marriage Retreat at the St. Charles Missouri location. We booked about 125 rooms. We were all required to post a $50.00 security deposit per room. I used my Debit Card. A week later my $50.00 still has not been deposited back into my account even after several phone calls to this location. Just think about this for a minute. $50.00 X 125 = $6250.00 alone. Now it has been a week. A good CFO would take this money and put it into a SHORT TERM investment and make money for Embassy Suites. So, with that in mind we will never use Embassy Suites again for any of our Marriage Retreats or any other function. I have also filed a complaint with the Missouri Attorney General.

It is not common for me to take the time and write about poor service, but felt this time I just had to do this. My problem was with the telephone reservation system. We called to make a reservation at the Charleston SC Embassy Suites on Meeting Street. The reservationist had to ask two times where Charleston was. We said we specifically needed to be at the Meeting Street location. She quoted us a price for this inn and we waited for our confirmation by email to arrive. It did arrive and was at the Embassy Suites on International Blvd. We called immediately and told them it was incorrect and that we needed to ask them to correct it. We were told it was a non-refundable or exchangeable reservation and there was nothing that could be done. My husband argued with the reservationist and indicated it was not our fault-we clearly asked for the Meeting Street location. Again, the reservationist asked where Charleston was and was told for the third time it was in South Carolina. Again, my husband indicated it was not our error. Finally, the reservation was corrected and the quoted fare went up by over twenty dollars. The entire process took over an hour and was most frustrating. We do travel for pleasure and business and are HH members and prefer your properties. If this continues to happen we will definitely change our preference. I also feel this hotel is badly in need of updates in the suites. Our furniture was worn and the carpet was very soiled.

I just arrived home a couple days ago from a week at the Embassy Suites in San Juan, PR. The trip was very relaxing and everyone we encountered within the hotel was amazing, kind and professional. I would definitely go back and enjoy the atmosphere again.
