we stopped at dennys in tusacola, illinois on june 23,2011. it was awful my food was notcooked and my husbands was burnt. it took 1hr to get our order and there was only 10 people there when we ordered. about 5 more then came in and got their big orders before us. when left i told them they needed new cooks iwas told 1 of the cooks was the manager. never again

while visiting the plant city Denny's, we have never ever been so disappointed. This place should really close and lock it's doors forever. The servers were slow and showed a I don't care attitude. Not one black server in the place.(we are white). There were a lot of chattering and in the corner talk. Our server looked so high or intoxicated we got up and went to waffle house, where we were treated with the upmost respect. We never saw a manager talking to customers. Being professionals ourselves, this was a very degrading experience. It was about 9:45 p.m. when we arrived. Sad, Sad, SAD.

CENTRALIA WA DENNYS: we will not go to the Centralia dennys again it was dirty the carpets filthy the childrens seats were not clean had grim imbeded in the plastic sides and edges the window siles had not been wiped down some of the seats had tears in them not repaired, some walls needed wiped down very dirty I have never seen it like this before dont know if it is lack of employees or the economey and cant afford the cleaning but it was not good I give it a F- i would be concerned with the health of the customers eating there due to the above... unsatisfied customer

Denny's Restaurant located in Rolla, Missouri near Highway 44. The waitresses were 5 star and the service was prompt. The Franchise owners are taking money out of this site and not reinvesting to improve their property. It is old, and needs to be renovated inside and out. They painted the outside but ran out of paint so that a 2 foot strip on the wall near the roof was not painted (Of all places, over the entrance) This is typical of the restaurant. They (the help) said that it was going to be done over three years ago and one year ago the closed for renovation. Nothing changed. The allow smoking and have the smoking in front by the door. Non smokers are in a back room with the smoke being circulated from the front to the back. Oh yes, of all things the pancakes were tough.

My wife and I have eaten five times at a Denny's Restaurant which is part of a Flying J truck stop. It was new, large, airy, clean and a welcome sight. The waitresses were all prompt and cosiderate. The order was taken and served within a few minutes. The manager went from table to table to make sure everything was satisfactory. (It Was). Check out was fast and pleasant. I understand that this is a company owned which seems to make a difference. The Denny"s Restaurant is located in Sullivan, MO on Highway 44. 60 Miles southwest of St. Louis. I should not tell you this for you may stop there and then I will have to wait. I do not own stock in Denny's nor am I and owner.

I took my wife and son to the Dennys, at 2608 Central Ave. SE Abq.N.M.There were about 10 customers inside when we sat down and ordered.It took 25 minutes for our food to arrive when they sat my sons Mac and Cheese down it was dry and you could tell it had sat for awhile in the bowl.I told him he didn't have to eat it.Then I heard my wife gasp and I said ,what is it?Look she said ,the lettuce on her sandwich was rotton,dark brown.I got really upset and called the waiter over and said I'm not paying for the sandwich ,he apoligized and said he was going to bring it to the managers attention.Now this is where it really goes South.We went to the register and a man who looks like he just came off a binge drunk starts ringing up our bill ,he has no I.D. tag on my wife asks are you the manager?He says yeah what do ya want?She says I want to see the bill.He says I dont have it your waitress gave it to someone else.At that point my wife says how do we know what were being charged for?Then they take verbal jabs at each other until I say lets go.We turned to walk out and we hear in a sarcastic tone ,Have a nice day.I was in disbelief that as a manager he never apoligized for the bad food but the waiter and waitress both kept apoligizing for the rude manager.

Got to Dennis at culver and trabucco,and took 10 minutes to get my drink order. From a server named Wendy. Further on I was so upset i refused my drink order and brought out a coke anyways. In her defence my wife told her to bring out a coke anyway. But I told her no anyway. The story goes on, that she brings out a coke anyway and spills it right infront of me. However poor rating won't come back, hate this place. Going to eat left overs when I get home.

Dennys in Warrenton, MO needs to learn how to staff their restaurant. I dont appreciate waiting 10 minutes at the counter without a person to help seat. As I walked out I heard someone yell "who is supposed to work the door?". My family went to Pizza Hut instead. Get a clue Denny's your manager AND staff need to be replaced! I thought to stop by your restaurant over sooo many choices and look what we got, NO service!!!!

I frequent the dennys In the "flying j" truck stop In Lodi, ca and right now there is no end to how pissed off I am - I have been patronizing this particular dennys since the day it opened - I am here so often that I and my wife have become personal friends with two of the employees outside of thier work environment. - I'm a regular - NOT any more - I got asked to pay my ticket for coffee @$2.16 a cup because they have a "2 hour limit if your not going to order food" which I have NEVER hear from any of the Managers or the wait staff. Now in all fairness I usually but not always come in and set up my laptop and get on the Internet and yes sometimes for quite a few more than 2 - thus has never been an issue - I've even sat at tables that do not have power outlets (the old restaurant had them at EVERY table a d have had to wait for extended periods of time for one of only two tables that actually have them - of those two only one has working outlets and they have no apparent intention on fixing the others - Now the manager that told me this today for the first time since they opened refused to give me her name. So I don't even know who to file the complaint about - the fact that I gave them the money for the extremely over priced and stale coffee means nothin to them and I will not return to this or any other dennys regardless of corporate or franchise ownership until it has been proven to me that my money is worth more than two hours.

We went to Denny's on State Street, Santa Barbara, CA. on Memorial Day weekend with our family of ten people. Service was terrible, the manager did not care or help staff and the food was cold when it arrived. So sorry since many tourists visit Santa Barbara, CA. Never go to Denny's again.

I was waiting 45 minutes for my order. And the guests that came in after me got served first. It was very poor service. It wasn't even served to us directly. Its a discrace to me and my family. There wasn't even untensils to eat with!!!!

I am a employee at Dennys for some time now. The store I work for has great customers. And mostly a good staff. The store I work for is 2279. My concern is we have a bad apple in our store who constantly blames everyone around her for her short comings. She harasses our hostess and is very rude to her on a constant basis. She talks about every employee that's doesn't agree with her. And makes a scence at least once a week. She speaks badly about the Mexican staff. She is trouble and a lawsuit ready to unfold. This has been going on for awhile. Our area manager has addresses the situation in the recent past. But you can not treat people the way she does and think it all gravy. One day she is going to tee off the wrong person and then what. This girl does more memos for record to try to justisfy her ego and manager i-tus.we have a new GM now and she kinda of know her from another store so now she thinks she boss. We need help at 2279 surprise Arizona. Please help concerned employee.the woman I speak of is Candias very a server. She has already threatened to Sue Dennys already. But she has no ground to stand on except she doesn't like the hostess.the Mexicans, the cook,our old manager. Its a everyday thing now when she comes to work and tries to bring our floor down with her drama and bad attitude. As well as speaking bad on other employees

I've been confront with a young lady in Sioux Falls, SD with a very distrubing situation concerning their hiring technique. The current Assistant Manager hired there by their store manager do not have a high school diploma. This position makes at leaast 30,000/yr. The main reaason for my concern is that everyone is searching for a good job and this girl was given a position she's not qualified for. I understand that it's not what you know, but who you know! This is considered Racist and unfair for many who has been to college and paid out thousands of dollars in student loans. Please see that qualified people are in the right positions, if you want to continue your services for the future generation!

We went to enjoy the new North Platte Denny's in the Flying Jay Truck Plaza on May 16, 2011. North Platte, NE has all types of food available, so a new eating establishment is not vital. However, an new experience is always fun. But... What a mess!!!!!!!!!! 1/4 full...no service....angry customers....angry yelling from the kitchen audible to customers...another customer shaking a finger in the face of the seater yelling about the service.... no one getting food. After 1 hour and 15 minutes, we left to go to another chain resturant. 1 hour after entering the Perkins establishment, we had eaten, visited with the personnel, paid our bill, and were back to work. Denny's cannot survive in its present mode.

I have worked for Dennys for numerous amounts of years. Corporate and now Franchise..although all complaints are recognized and relateable..Dennys has sold out their so-called standards to persons who only care about the money..bottom line..dollars...the entire staff including the management can only do what they are told to do..they themselves are un-appreciated and and seemingly looked down on by customers that seem to think customer service workers and management own the restaurants...they work in hostile environments...not because they want to but because they love to work...but sometimes people have perceptions of perfection that that they surely don't expect of themselves. We can't change the world..but I have heard folks saying "I will never visit that Dennys again.."but still do..the consumer focuses on the staff..but...honestly..there is no training..no encouragement from corporate or the franchise owners...because they are out for only one thing the money. It is a front..Dennys discrimin..these people ate stressed beyond stressed...no medical..no dental..and disregarded..this is not an excuses but there is a lot to undersyand about working in a restaurant...I apologize to everyone who has had a bad experience with Dennys..the number they provide for complaints...is a threat tactic for employees..but like any human being...they will always complains before they give nice comments for those who deserve it.ates within their own organization so..honestly..not all employees are bad..they are in a bad disposition..there is s cause and effect...undetstaffing..forty restaurant..

Portage Indiana store #7200 needs to be shut down. Terrible service, mediocre food, took forver to get said food and when it came out it was wrong. There were 5 other tables in the entire place. I've been a server for 11 years myself and yes I understand being short staffed but our server had zero sense of urgency and no idea what she was doin. She didn't even make an attempt to ask how everything was, get refills, or prebus. I get it people have bad days but it was honestly the worst dining experience I've EVER had in my life. Instead of wasting money making stupid commercials Dennys should spend their money on propperly training their staff.

I don't know if this will do any good or if I am just wasting my time... the Denny's in Nephi UT was ridiculous. My hashbrowns were burnt crumbs and the plastic American cheese slices that don't melt were disgusting. I ended up being sick for a day and a half after eating there on May 5 2011. What about a little quality control?

I went to a Dennys, and they charged me for ranch. When I complained they said the only way they would take it off if I could remember who didnt charge me the last time I came about a year ago. They also said people got fired for not charging for ranch. Their policy is if it is not on the menu then they charge for it. So dont go to the dennys on pacific in stockton, ca.
