POOR CUST SVC

I purchased a beautiful dress from them. Got to the alter & something starts to poke my legs?? by the time the wedding was over, i look like i'd been in a catfight!! they left 3" pins all throughout my dress!!! their resolution, oh, we'll refund alteration fee...really? my husband couldn't even pick me up for pictures without being stabbed by a pin & i get scratched & poked all night & THAT'S ALL YOU CAN DO???

Trashed my dress

Purchased my dress, and had a fitting. The first and second fitting were ok. The final fitting destroyed my dreams. The hem was not straight, hooks were missing, beads were broken, rouging was not tacked right, and the dress was not steamed. They did a total hack job. They acknowledged the problem and only gave me $19.00 back. It cost me $129.00 to fix their hack job. My maid of honor had similar problems. READ HERE before you go, if I had I would have gone some where else!!!!!!!

worst ever

I bought the Strapless with the tiered waist and skirt. Fell apart! 10minutes into the wedding it ripped. Layers were falling apart. The clasp on the back of my dress was missing. Really bad idea for a dress. Should not have started hearing ripping 5 mins in. Davids bridal has a no return policy but im going to be going to the store

horrible

Worst experience spent 2000.00 and got horrible service. Lost a lot of budiness

Crap crap do not shop here!! Asheville, nc

Terrible service, the staff know nothing! The manager has no idea about the store policy!! Such a hassle to get a dress and they charge so many extra fees and lie! The time to get a dress and I went to get a refund and they wouldn't even with a receipt they would send a check within 4 or so months! They said they can't deal with cash!! Ugghh BS

Horrible

Requested a rush order and was told dress would arrive on time. The dress arrived on time but no call to let us know. Store called on day 14 to tell us they couldn't hold dress any longer. Sent notification to wrong email. Arrived to have dress altered for $300. Seamstress not impressed about fitting dress. Told us to go elsewhere! Demanded it be done. Found out cost and felt ripped off

Liars!!!

I was told to order my wedding dress six months in advance. I did order it like a fool and my dress was back in two weeks. Wth! I didn't want to order early because I knew I was gonna lost weight. Now I've lost 35 lbs and I have to get dress alter. Alterations prices are ridiculous! I have to get sides taken up and hemmed for $350. I can't wait to stop dealing with them!

I took my daughter into David's Bridal to purchase a prom dress. She found the perfect dress she tried it on and the teeth on the zipper was not working properly and the stones was falling off. So the sales lady said she would order another one and it would take 4-6 weeks ok perfect plenty of time for prom. Time passed and we received no call or email stating it was back so my daughter called and was told it has been ready for a week. We picked up the dress and she didn't try it on because we knew that was the perfect size. The day of the prom she put on her dress and we relized not only was it the same dress she tried on in the store with the messed up zipper and stones falling off. It also had the security sensor still attached. I will never shop David's Bridal again. To pay $363.00 for a prom dress and it was not worth the time and travel.

Don't waste your time

I was the MOH in my younger sister's wedding last weekend and am not even sure where to begin with the endless list of problems we had with David's, at two separate locations. 1. When we went to find "the dress", the sales associate tried to tell me that I could not go into the fitting room to help my sister get into the dresses. 2. We looked at colors for the bridal party (2 different shades of pink) and styles of dresses. We saved the colors and 2 dresses in her profile. 3. A few weeks later, the one dress style was discontinued (with no notification to us). 4. A few weeks after that, the lighter shade of pink was discontinued (again, no notification), and we had to change the entire color scheme of the wedding. 5. The bustle in my sister's dress was supposed to be finished 2-3 weeks before the wedding date. It wasn't done until 4 days prior. 6. When my dress came in, they called the bride to tell her (even though we live 3 hours away and both our addresses are "on file"). 7. When I went to pick up my dress, the woman scoffed at me and wished me luck finding an open dressing room when I asked to try it on to show my Mom. 9. I was told at the location that I visited that any floor-length dress could be altered into a tea-length (which is what we wanted). When my sister went into the location near her, they said that that particular alteration "destroyed the integrity of the dress" and therefore could not be done. In my three separate visits to two different store locations, I saw many employees and managers. One woman was nice and smiled and chatted with us. All the others treated us as if we were an inconvenience. And, we were never offered any sort of compensation for any of these issues that were caused by poorly trained and mannered employees. I will never shop there again. My last tidbit of advice... If you do decide to buy from David's, do NOT get your dress/gown altered there! Their prices are outrageous! $40 to hem a dress 1".

HORRIBLE

I am a bride in Virginia and had a wonderful experience at our Richmond location. I chose my bridesmaid and flower girls dress which they live in NJ. I was actually visiting in NJ when we took the girls to be fitted. Scheduled a apt and received the worst help ever. I ended up finding the dresses for them to try on myself. was told I had to purchase the dress in the store until I went to counter and asked again to find out this was not true they could be ordered so I didn't have to have a used dress. They were never called to say the dresses were in, my sister n law had called to check and was told no then a week later called back to be told they had been here. Alterations were gonna be 150.00 to hem one dress. needless to say we took the dresses to be altered elsewhere. I am just sorry that had to have such a horrible experience. would not recommend the freehold store in NJ nor the Cherry hill store. Both horrible service.

Horrible!!

I bought my dress from David's Bridal in Spring Hill, Fl. The ladies who work there are rude. They ordered my dress because they didn't have it in my size there and THEY ordered the wrong size. Then they pull my soon to be mother in law aside and ask her if I gained weight! Really?? How rude can you be? They also told me I needed a certain type of bra that cost $70- because it will hold in my belly better since I am not a size 4. Really lady! As they have the dress on me that doesn't fit I look down and see stains all over it. Orange rust looking stains and she argued with me that it was supposed to be like that. I am sorry, I have perfect vision don't tell me its supposed to be like that. My wedding is June 8 and they said my dress should be in by May 28th. Cutting it close there. I am so upset at this point. I spend $700 on a dress for the sales woman to call me fat!! I would never shop there again!

We went to the David's Bridal in Merrillville, In. The woman upfront who was representing the store was so rude and unhelpful. I would never ever recommend this location to anyone. This store really needs to review their customer service policies and their employes. This honestly one of the worst shopping experiances ever. Please do not ever go there!

BRIDES BEWARE - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

my daughters experience at David's Bridal in Greenville NC was so bad I hated even giving the one star credit to write a review. All was good until she found "the Dress" and then it was on. She was basically pushed out of the dressing room naked to get the next client in. It took 2 1/2 hours to check out because they could not get the slip loaded in the computer to order. I get home only to find that that the veil in the bag is cream, when I go back to the store they try to tell me that it will look fine with her WHITE dress.....REALLY. After speaking with the manager and expressing my frustrations she assured me she would get the correct veil. After 2 weeks she informed me that she could not get the veil in white, but I could order another with a 20% discount. Then the dress comes in...first call states that I have to have it picked up immediately or it will be returned. SInce I live an hour away I thought it would be a good idea to schedule the fitting. DISASTER....I was hung up on 3 times before I got to alterations....once I finally got someone on the phone I was told that they were very busy with PROM dresses and maybe I should wait until closer to the wedding date. They even went on to say that my daughter may gain weight. the only days they would schedule alterations was on Tues, Wed, and Thrusdays during the day of course. When I asked for an evening or weekend I was told that she would need to take off from work....NEEDLESS to say I have cancelled the appointment for the bridesmaids, getting the alteration done elsewhere and wish I could get the 1000.00 back that I have spent already. THE CEO needs to go undercover to see what kind of service his company is giving.....and btw I still do not have the veil issue fixed.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

"Bad" doesn't even begin to explain my experience with David's Bridal. The sales people were rude as ever, rushing me through everything, didn't ask to help me or anything.! I finally decided I didn't want to step foot in the store again so I ordered a dress online from the store and a pair of shoes. When received, the dress was too big and the shoes were too small. I called my local store and asked if they would do an exchange and whoever answered said yes. Went to the store and they told me they did NOT exchange merchandise purchased online. So here I am now with a dress (in perfect condition, still in the bag, still has tags) and a pair of shoes (still in the box with all the stuffing) and CAN'T get my money back. I wouldn't recommend David's Bridal if you paid me. It is the worse place I've ever been and I will be calling corporate today.

Well I was going to shop here...

Wow I was going to shop here but after hearing all the negative feed back I'll take my money somewhere else. I was trying to get customer service because I can't log onto my account, and happened to stumble upon all this. Thank God for that I'm planning a huge renewing of my vow's after 10 years and since I didn't get a big wedding the first time I was going to go the whole way this time. But no thank you! Not after all this negative stuff!!! Thank you for the warning ladies!!!

Do not shop Davids bridal in roanoke, va . Daughter and bridesmaids picked dresses out all paid . But one . She went afew weeks later to pay for hers and they said didnt no longer have that color. Did not call bride to let her no. She had to call them to find out what was going on. They had to pick another color. Then took dresses to get steamed . One was still messed up and had to leave it again. Have another daughter but wont shop there. To bad Cant get good help. Who ever owns store needs tp vist. Mother of bride.

dissatisfied

Bought my daughter her dream dress 650.00 then paid 400.00 in alterations and now afer 3 times they are ordering a new one. Found out they are saying won't be here until May 23. WEDDING IS JUNE 2ND. Ready to say keep it we will go somewhere else since no one from corporate will call me back. You should be doing alot more than reordering my daughter's dress......

Amazing Staff and Awesome Service

I was received with the utmost care and kindness! Erin and her staff are just the best. They helped through the entire process of planning and choosing the right dress! Everyone there pulled together to help me when I had issues with a dress I optimally chose they went put of their way to make sure that I had the right dress for my wedding! I can't say enough good about the aurora store and how great they have been to myself a d my bridesmaids! Fantastic service and overall a great shopping experience and customer service!!!!!

Brides BEWARE!!!

Never have i been treated so poorly. The David's Bridal in Florence, SC was horrible- but apparently EVERY Davids Bridal is this way. Not only were the associates and Manager of the store unprofesional but when I called Customer Service there rep for that copped an attitude with me! These are the people you have representing you company? I need an address for Bob Huth (the CEO) so I can actually get my issues with this store resolved. Anyone have any contacts??

I will never reccomend Davids Bridal to anyone. Had no problems with the service. Everyone was very nice and helpful. My daughter in law to be bought her dress with no problems. They sold her undergarments that she could have gotten cheaper elsewhere for a lot less but that was her choice. Two months before the wedding I ordered a bridesmaid dress for my daughter because they didnt have it in the store in her size. I was assured it would take no longer than 2 weeks to get it so I stupidly paid for it. 7 weeks later and I am still waiting for it and still being told lies that it will be here on time. Im probably out my $100 I paid and will have to go buy another dress at the last minute. Wish I had seen these other reviews before. This store is in Kansas City MO so apparently they all tell their employees to lie, lie, lie!!!!
