Name and Address: Cracker Barrel Old Country Store 1209 North Litchfield Road Goodyear, AZ 85338-1249 (623) 856-5161 Additional Comment: I want to first say that I am Very dissapointed with your staff in the shop. I tried to purchase 2 stuffed snakes (toy's). They were in the 50% off clearance basket....no price. Another lady had one with a price of $15.00 on it, she purchased hers 10 minutes before mine. When I got to the register the man said he could not do anything about the price because it did not have a sku#. So I aked if he could get me a price and that the other lady just bought one? He left the register and needless to say there was a huge line forming. He came back to tell me that I could not purchase them because he could not get a price??? He said his manager was too busy wrapping christmas gifts to get a price for me? What the heck? Bad Bad Bad customer service. So basically he is lazy and lost business for your company, and made a bad name. I was ready and willing to pay $7.50 which was 1/2 of $15.00. Isn't selling merchandise what the point is? Take my word for the price or ask the other girl who just sold it to another woman to check her register tape for the proper numbers? She said she can't do that...seems like laziness to me and I am very mad and upset...I want those snakes. I will be contacting your corporate office. I would appreciate and expect an e-mail back from someone with authority who can remedy this situation and not insult my intelligence. He also forgot to bag another of my items, and then forgot to give me a receipt! thank you for your prompt response

Blessed to have had my server

My husband and I had stopped in to the Franklin Kentucky Cracker Barrel after driving back from Florida. Our server Lacey was a blessing to have. She kept our drinks filled, food service was great, was there our every need; checking back constantly, she made my husband smile on his birthday. She is the best server we have had at a Cracker Barrel anywhere from Florida to Texas. We will always remember her smiling face and cute dimple for our great trip to the Cracker Barrel there in Kentucky.

Seriously?

I'm shocked and appalled to find out that Cracker Barrel is open on pretty much all major holidays! Employees deserve to be with their families too! This is absolutely ridiculous, and I refuse to support it. Will not be eating or purchasing from there again.

We were on our way up to Ohio, and stopped at your stores twice (sorry now that I didn't note the locations). The first time, I was very disappointed in the vegetable soup I ordered -- it was served cool; although it was supposed to be a "bowl", the portion was awfully small, and not too many veggies in it. That time, we didn't complain. We stopped again on our way south from Ohio at another CB store and since the weather was again rather chilly, I ordered the beef stew. It certainly resembled the veg soup I had at the previous store with a few pieces of beef thrown in. The hamburger my husband ordered was dry and overcooked and tasteless. We complained to the server, but no positive action was taken. After that, we didn't stop at CB again, and probably won't in the future.

Good servers, good food, tempature could be warmer coming out of kitchen, Best food around , Monroe, Mi, My request is more beef choices or make chicken and sliders have more chicken in them, i can't eat pork anymore, or porkless meatloaf dinner, Thanks for the nice vegie choices on the menu, some times thats all i order is three vegie or four because of my diet, Diabetic and no pork, thanks

I just returned home after visiting my daughter in Fernandina Beach, FL. We went to dinner at the Cracker Barrel in N Jacksonville (store 589). My husband ordered chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes as one of his sides, there were two large (undescribable) black clumps in his potatoes, when we were finally able to get the attention of an associate they said let me get the manager. Well after waiting for about 5 minutes for the manager who never showed up to our table, I told my husband to lets go pay, expecting the cashier to ask how was everything, but was never asked. So I mentioned that they don't even ask how everything was, she finally asked if we would like to see a manager, I explained to her that we sat at our table waiting and he never came. I told her not to worry that I would be contacting the corporate office. This was the worst service and as mentioned by another complaint the quality and quanity really sucked!!!

The Cracker Barrel in Merrillville Indiana had a male server with a beard at least 5 inches long. Gross! That thing should have had a net on it. It really was disgusting.

Batesville mississippi cracker barrel - rather Garbage Barrel - one of the worst experiences of my life !!! Service ok - some order tickets got thrown away - took almost an hour and a half to get served !! How do i know the tickets got thrown away - one of the servers told me - he did the best he could - mass confusion - several customers got up and walked away leaving bad comments on the way out !!! Must have new manager because he was totally lost - had no idea what he was doing - i have owned and operated retail grocery stores myself and i have seen confusion before but nothing like this ! One customer i know - her name is Pam Pellar - got up and left her table for a minute and her table was cleared and her glasses were missing - she asked the manager where her eye glasses were and he told her they were broken and he threw them in the garbage !! This manager has a name tag on that says manager - just because a name tag says manager on it does not mean he can manage- I can put air line pilot on my name tag but that does not mean i can fly a plane!!!! Good luck on the closing of this store !!!!!

Live in Pensacola the Cracker Barrel here is wonderful. Went on vacation and stopped at store #326 very disappointed. Soup was cold the waitress heated for me, and then my partners Turkey and Dressing was cold. Out of cornbread. I love Cracker Barrels Rueban sandwich but never again at this store. It was toasted not grilled, and the bread was so hard it was hard to eat. Its a shame with the economy like it is and people wants a decent meal. Time for some retraining.

cracker barrel works their managers 80+ hours in cross lanes west wv allows bad mangers to keep on working and run off good employes. cracker barrel has sacificied workers and customers for fast food and profits.

I was at a Cracker Barrel in Arlington Texas. There were two guys ahead of my wife and I. An employee there told these two men that Cracker Barrel does not serve queers and that the faggots should eat somewhere else. We were so shocked at this behavior that we will never go back to any Cracker Barrel again. We were told by an employee there that gays are not welcomed. This is the 21st Century and not the 19th Century.

My husband went to get a carry out order from your new store on Dixie Highway in Louisville Kentucky and I was very disappointed with it. For the price you ripped us off. I got the fried fish dinner and two sides. The sides were generous but I only got one small piece of fish. We will not be back. I do not like getting ripped off.

It is not the food but your employees. It seems the store in Bryant, AR hires illegals, according to your employee D. Pittman. He says there are at least two and maybe more. Don't you think with all the unemployed AMERICANS your company should do your part?>

I believe that it is very important that home office get familar with store 40 in douglasville ,becauses many injustices are being done.Policies are being broken by managersand the ect is getting employees to call home office on other employees and managment.I have not been there very long but this is enough.I WILL NOT STAY IN A PLACE WHERE PEOPLE ARE BUSY TRYINGTO FIND THE WORST IN OTHERS AND GOSSIPING ALL THE TIMT WITH THE HELP OF MANAGMENT.I will take moms advice and pay more attention to school.

My husband and I travel frequently and have always enjoyed our meals there. We have been rv'ing for around 20 years. My former job included a lot of travelling and Cracker Barrels was one of the resturants I frequented. There is a Cracker Barrel located in Downingtown PA store %509. I pass it everyday and stop in to take advantage of their sales. I recently bought 3 blouses from the sale rack and when I got home I tried them on and they did not fit correctly. I took them back this morning and they refused to take them back because they were they came from the 80% sale rack. They also refused to give me a store credit for the same reason. In all fairness they did note in very small letters that the sale was final. I fail to read the small print. The sales clerk was following the rules. After this occurence I have a few warnings for those that frequent the sale racks especially for clothing. 1. There is no dressing room to try on your clothing. 2. Your not allow to take merchandise into the bathroom 3. The cashier never pointed out that the merchandise could not be returned at the time of purchasing. 4. The small print should be larger so your decision to buy something is less about risk. Sale items are bought at your own risk and dealing with today's economics seniors need to be aware of this Cracker Barrel rule.

my family and i were in your terre haute store on 9/5/2012 are server was ZACK very rude to my wife and son. I had ask to see a manager.HE had told me that he was to busy to come out and talk to me. first and formost he was making fun of my son who is mentally ill was talking to a female server they were both just laughing at him making comments that should not be made. THAT is why i am going to take action on this someone like him should not be working in that type of business.I think something needs to be done about this matter just cause someone like my son does not understand but i do we will never step foot in that store again as long he is there and will pass this along to family and friends.I also will be talking to somebody about what i can do to take more action on this matter.

Four adults went to the Cracker Barrel in Conroe, Texas on League Line Road. 3 out of 4 of us was so disappointed in not only the quality but the quanity. First of all the plates that came out to us, appeared to be child's plates. The man that was with us, he got maybe a tablespoon of mashed potatoes! The hamburger meat was so tough with no seasoning!!! Absolutley Awful!!! I personally will never return to this particular Cracker Barrell and probably not any others, because evidentally the Corporate office is allowing this to be done to the customers.

I rated the Norman Oklahoma Cracker Barrel 1 star simple because I the web page will not let me rat it any lower. On Saturday, September 1, 2012; I convinced 5 friends of mine to join me at the Cracker Barrel in Norman, Oklahoma. Telling them I have never eaten at a bad Cracker Barrel in all my driving across the USA. BOY IS MY FACE RED FOR MAKING THAT CLAIM! Out of 6 orders at our table 5 came to the table wrong, and poorly prepared, and the 6th one when we finally gave up waiting for (30 minutes AFTER everyone else was served) it and demanded to speak to the manager came out looking and smelling like it was scraped off the kitchen floor, AND was incorrect on top of that. What was supposed to be grilled chicken breast strips were a pile of something that looked like it might have been cut from leftovers used to make chicken salad (no single piece of meat was larger than 1/2 inch square, was carbonized beyond edible on the outside and still raw from being cooked from the frozen state on the inside. Since there were ONLY 7 other parties eating there at the time we were (approximately 3 PM) there was no excuse for such shoddy service, Further the manager point blank refused to give his name, as the our server. It was fortunate that I speak spanish as the waiter barely spoke english, and both the waiter and the manager need to be instructed on how to bathe, and apply deodorant prior to working. While enduring our futile wait for our orders to be corrected, the other members of my party and I also heard 2 other servers complaining to the manager about the fact that portions of their orders were either missing or poorly prepared. His comment to the servers? " Can't you think for yourselves? Make up some story about an accident in the kitchen, and tell them we will correct the orders." I strongly suspect that the ONLY reason this particular Cracker Barrel has not gone out of business is that they have a "captive market" of 2 major hotels (Hilton, and Comfort Suites) adjacent to them, and the 2 other restaurants in the same parking complex a) do not serve breakfast, and b) have such long lines of diners waiting the rest of the day that people give up and go to Cracker barrel out of desperation. The only bright spot in the visit was the older lady working as the cashier, despite fielding complaints from almost every customer in line, she managed to remain calm smile and sooth ruffled feathers and tempers, with a smile and a few kind words. I am sorry I was too distracted calming my own friends to catch this Angel of Hospitality's name but she is worth more to humanity that the entire rest of staff combined.

That's really thinking of the hgiseht order

I would like to see you blog about the difference btweeen oversight and micromanagement. To me, micromanagement is telling a person what to do and how to do it; oversight is asking them what they did and why they did it.What do you think?
