Your television commercials with the annoying jerk who falls with the phone in his would never tempt me to suscribe to Cox. Your non=-stop disgusting commercials are the reason Cox rates keep going up up up. Never again.

I have basic cable and in the last two months they had removed another 2 channels. In all they have seen fit to remove 8 of the channels that I have watched. When I called and indicated that they keep taking channels away and increase the bill. Don't make sense to me. When I called and told them all they could say is "I'm sorry". Well that just don cut it when you are on a fixed income. Its sad that cox don't care about their customers. I wish there was another cable in the area so I could switch.

Your commercials are absolutely horrible!! Listening to the spokesman is like nails on a chalkboard!! He is beyond obnoxious!! For what you charge, you should be able to hire a better marketing firm!! You should fire them immediately!! I turn the channel every time it comes on! Get a new spokesperson! I am a Cox customer & would greatly appreciate it! It's embarrassing!,

COX is setting up phony accounts then sends you a phony bill

COX sets up phony accounts, gets your info then sends you the bill.When you call them they say don't worry will fix it!!! Then they send you another bill. STAY AWAY FROM these guys!

Being Charged for Cox errors

I recently changed froim basic TV with Cox to a full bundle with high speed Internet and premier phone. The setup was screwed up by Cox and it toook several few days to get it corrected. Then I received my bill with an overcharge of $70+. The Customer Service supervisor agreed that this is an incorrect charge, but "because the bill is printed", no changes can be made. I am supposed to pay the additional charge - or may lose service if I do not. Are you kidding me????? You need to change the name of your Customer Service as there is no such service!

Billing increase why

Cox keeps raising my bill even though I spoke with them telling them I am a senior and wanted to lower my bill. So we discussed how to do this and they put me on a 24 mo price lock guarantee agreement. I dropped their phone service a long time ago and have internet and basic cable. However, each month I see increases which I don't think I should per the agreement.

Incompetent workers

On 3-30-13 we had Cox installed in our home,switching from another well known carrier. Someone in the office failed to read our original order that we wanted to keep our same home phone number. They failed to "port"our number over from the previous carrier, which resulted in our having to receive a new phone number.I spent about a week and a half on the phone with these people with complaints to no end.At first they said it would be fixed in two, then three days. No, it was never fixed! We now have a new phone number (still after all of my complaining)and I am left trying to get ahold of friends,family and businesses to let them know that we"ve had to change our home phone number. Hello, Better Business Bureau and Federal Communications Commission!

unwanted channels

I have been a loyal customer for over 20yrs.and I may have a suggestion. There are many channels that I will never use I might used maybe 20 channels that I actually watch. Why can you create a package that you can pick your own channels and pay for those channels with a price for a regular old Joe "Joe The Plumber" budget, my bill as been going through roof for years and years maybe my suggestion may reduce my cost to watch TV

Worst customer service. They don't call you back. Make promises they don't keep. High prices. Horrible customer service. Got charged for service calls for them to fix their problems. Called to have removed on my bill and they said they removed but charges were still on my bill, had to call again to get fixed. They are only giving me 2mps web speed, but giving new customers 5mps speeds for less money. After I have been with them for 3 years. What rip off company.

Las Vegas sucks cox

The customer service in Vegas is appalling! I have had Internet with you for over 2 years, when I decided to bundle cable as well. There have been lies and broken promises I have bent over backwards numerous times to rectify the situation, but they don't even respond to emails. I did not pay my bill because I did not get what I wanted, so they sent me to collections

High Internet Price

Your price for the bottom internet service is extremely high. Your television service stinks as well as being expensive, which is why we turned to DISH. Unfortunately, because of where I live I'm unable to switch Internet providers; if I could I would. You need to have a lower price for seniors living on Social Security. Try being more competitive -- and try reading your reviews because they're not very good.

Cox Serives Terrible

I have had nothing but problems with cox communications,First the dvr box keeps resetting itself at random second the mta phone/internet modem is getting very hot. and i have intermittent phone service and now the backup battery has failed.I also tired of the pixelations and picture freezes. And plus they keep raising their prices every few months. I hope there is a class action law suite against cox communications soon.The Federal Trade Commission And The BBB needs to be notified by each unsatisfied cox customer.

Forgotten Service

4 techs have come to my house to install service and not a single thing has been done to even start the installation... They all tell me that a step needs to be done before their part... I've been waiting since february, today is 3/29/13... Cox better wake up before they loose all of their customers

Please pick up The Blaze TV. Our premiums now go to the likes of Al Jazzera and Russian TV that are anti American where the Blaze is instrumental in saving America! The blaze was just picked up by TheBlaze has entered into carriage agreements with Blue Ridge Communications, the 21st-largest cable operator in the nation, and with BEK Communications, Sweetwater Cable Television and Atwood Cable. Unfortunately with many requests from customers asking for The Blaze TV, Cox is silent on adding it to their programming. We will be looking to other providers and dumping Cox.

Unfair Business

After proof was provided that I had pre paid and Cox had cashed my checks for a six month seasonal account, Cox ignored all of my letters (certified mail recieved ) and unilateraly sent the matter to collections and then threatened to disconnect my home number...which was a different account and number...I see this as unfair business practice, coercion and tactics of a corpotare bully! Stay away from Cox!

Let me try again. The first one didn't "take". ONE STAR and that's generous. WOW! Look at all the complaints. How do they do business? Our apartment building is changing over to dish. With a few exceptions the two digit IQ employees don't care. Triple charged for Internet! They lied of course. Then the customer service boy tells me I can't talk to the other service person because he has seniority! HA! Who cares boy!

Billing Problems

I moved to COX in November of 2012. I have internet service only @ $19.99 per month, guaranteed for one year. For two months I have tried to get through to someone to make this happen. Yesterday it may have worked but the communications are not clear. I have authorized payment by having my credit card charged each month. When I finally gor through after waiting nearly fifteen minutes for some one to come on the line (On two previous occasions I gave up holding) I then spent nearly thhirty minutes with someone who was clearly not trained to handle the request. I was told that it would take two or three billing cycles for the automatice chares to take effect. Today I have sent five payments of $19.99 to get me well ahead of the game in hopes that by the time those are used up the automated charge to my credit card will be in effect. For a company with"Communications" as part of their name, it is sorely lacing in a quick and clear response.

they use a mystery shop that does not pay you for doing mystery shops for them. They make up excuses for no payment. They allow such a practice to exist.
