My name is Veronica Rosen and I have read every one of these comments and First of all I am very sorry for the rude cashiers that you have delt with ...Please be aware that if you are wantting anyone for the cop office to contact you please go to WWW.CIRCLEK.COM or there should be a sign somewhere close to the front doors with a corop number and again i a very sorry for the rude lazy people you had to deal with ...by the way I am a former cashier for store 5292 in cincinnati oh and all of the cashiers there would never be that rude and we always took the time each of our guest needed from us regardless of what we was doing ...as far as I.D FOR TOBBACO ... if the i.d is damaged at all or looked as if it could have be tampered with to forge the date of birth we are told to decline the sale soory but yes it a policy so that no underage sales take place ...please understand that if a cashier sale to a minor it can and will cost us our jobs but there is a very nice way to explain that to you thank you VERONICA ROSEN

POOR MANAGER REPORT: Circle K store at 403 S. Mercey Springs Road, Los BaƱos, CA 93635.(209) 826-6543. I have been a valued customer to this location for many years now. Approximately June or July 2010 a new manager has taken over. I know that many complaints happen in general when a new manager takes over a location, it is just that way. I recognize that it takes a Manager a little while to get them self comfortable in learning/handling their new duties. HOWEVER in this case, it is now Nov 2010 4 to 5 months later, and this location continues to have one cashier at the register in the mornings, while the manager fails to step up & open a second register, while several customers continually have to stand in line waiting to pay, disallowing customers to quickly pay get on their way to their daily jobs. He needs to realize that Customers are not on his payroll, so they should not have to stand there waiting, while he seems to do whatever he can to avoid running a register. Further more, he has display absolutely NO ambition to properly acknowledge customers, nor offer a simple simile, nor small talk conversation, allowing the customer to feel valued for their patronage. MANY of my local friends that used to go to this Circle K before this manager took over, no longer wish to do so, reflecting the above as a big problem, found themselves leaving in frustration. Basically; making their travel to work, start out more on the frustrated side. I have noticed that the daily morning customer count has slowly dwindled from a VERY busy store, to almost no customers. I truly hope that Circle K has not placed this manager in this location with intent to UN-INVITE the patrons of this location, DUE TO future permanent closure plans. If so; they are WRONG, as the proper thing to do is to place a 'politely stated' sign regarding a future closure, to include a 'Thank You' note to the customers who have supported this location over the years.

I can tell that by this long list of complaints that I will never here from you , but if you really care about your companies rep call me at 1-251-751-6935 other wise don't waste your time and I want try to save your company rep.

Went to the location on Alma School/Main St in Mesa. Wanted to purchase a Circle K gift card. I was told I could put any amount on this card up to $500. I asked for $5.00 and it didn't work. The sales-person grabbed another card and tried again. Unfortunately it didn't work. I asked what the minimum amount I could put on it and he didn't know. He was the only person there on the register and felt pressured to not keep trying to purchase this Circle K gift card. I asked if I could get the phone number to corporate so I could call and find out more about this new card that Cicle K has. He said he didn't know the number. I asked well who can I call? He said I will call the person that brought these cards. Crazy set-up. I wasn't helped and feel that I he was incompetent. He said he could only call the Manager and leave a message. Needless to say that I was not going to wait around being that I was on my lunch break. Read some of your reviews and feel you are not providing the information that your sales people need. Unfortunately that is giving you a BAD reputation.

@ 7.16 p.m October 10 at greenway and 40th St. in Phoenix, my daugther and i pulled up to the store, there were 2 customers outside waiting to get in, we sat in my truck and observed 1 customer in the store and 1 employee. THE DOORS WERE LOCKED. Whwn the women came to unlock the door for the cutomers waiting outside she appeared very mad. My daughter proceeded into the store to hear the employee state "If i have to work for cirkle k for another year i;m going to kill someone, I,m gonna kill somebody in cirkle k" my daughter immediatley left the store got in the truck said we are never comming back here and advised me as to what the women had stated. WE WILL NEVER VISIT THAT STORE AGIAN. And I will be sure to advise others of this threat from this women. I have also placed a call to corporate

I would like to know your policy on cigarette sales?, i was unable to find any such information on your web site. I unfortunately find myself infuriated by your employees And their borderline harassing behavior. I was denied the sale of tobacco because my ID had a small crack on the tip. The woman was seemingly upset because i had interrupted her smoke break after rolling her eyes the second i walked up to the door, She proceeded to give me dirty looks as i checked out. It was nice enough for her to give me a smile when she told me "We cannot sale tobacco to people with damaged ID's". I find myself confused to why that would be an issue i have never had a problem before today. After reading above complaints i have to assume you are willing to allow your employees to be lazy and rude.(Proud to ware their cigarette police badges!) I will never step foot into any of your Establishments again. (Which is a good thing i feel trashy just walking into your filthy stores!) P.s. i wrote this entire letter puffing a cigarette i purchased at a near by Chevron

all i want to know is why, when there are 2 cashiers in the store, can't they both be on registers when you have a long line of customers. i went in to circle k today (corner of US41and west tarpon, port charlotte, fl) and there was a line of about 6 or 7 at the register. ONE cashier working the register and the other just walking around the store doing makework. i was in the store over 15 minutes, and never made it to the register. i just took a dollar out of my wallet, tossed it on the counter, said "here's for my coffee" and walked out. now, i know you make more money by people getting upset and tossing the money on the counter and walking out (because you don't have to give change then) but eventually, people are just gonna stop going to circle k. and now that 7=11s is are popping up in charlotte county, it may be sooner than you might anticipate. whatever happened to customer service???

I have a concern to bring to the attention whom ever is supervisor of the 16405 272nd Street Kent, WA 98406 Circle K location. This a.m. I was left feeling dissatisfied with my experience at this location. The employee at the counter " JONDA" was rude. First of all, when I handed her my WA Lotto Scratch tickets, she immediatly asked how much in winnings their were. Unsure, I told her I did not know exactly. "JONDA" then snaps, I don't have much money in my til, I need to know. Too embarresed to admit that math is not my strong suit I gave it a shot. While other customers stood in line behind me, I painstakingly began to add the tickets together one by one in my head. After awhile, I hand them over with a total. She threw a coin on the counter smirking, "You can keep that." She then instruts me to"scratch the numbers in the box" Needless to say, I do not plan to go back to Circle K in the future. I like my clerks friendly in the morning not super grouchy and snappy. Thank you for taking your time to hear my concerns!!

I stopped in a Circle K store in Columbus Georgia. The location is Fort Benning Road, and I was inquiring about ciggarette prices, after all they are expensive. I was then confronted with an extremely rude cashier who was aggravated that I was inquiring about ciggarette prices. She made a couple of comments that I could tell she was trying her best to be a smart ass about the situation. I then asked her how much the ciggarettes were and she said,"I don't know till I scan them damn!" She then saked a guy over by the coffee machine to come pay for his coffee and that I could wait. The man was not even in line yet! He then said he wanted ciggarettes too and she said that was ok that I could wait!!! I then just turned around and walked out, I have never been treated so rudely in my entire life from a cashier! I was only enquiring about ciggarette prices and I was being my usual nice self. This person needs to be fired! She is extremely bad for business!!

In response to Jennifer Bortree's 8/15 post above, just wanted to inform you that it is actually against Federal law to allow any returns of tobacco products once it leaves a store. This law is to protect people from potentially tampered-with products, the idea being that once any tobacco product is out of the store/store worker's sight, the person who purchased the product may attempt to inject a harmful substance into the tobacco product and then return it for resale to some innocent victim. As farfectched as that might sound, it truly is a Federal law and while the store might be held accountable, the store worker who doesn't follow that law is personally liable if they disobey and they personally are subject to fines and potential arrest, not to mention probable reprimand by or termination from their store. Despite all of this, the St. Petersburg employee's response to you was completely inappropriate as all she needed to do was explain the law, not make up lies and excuses. Just thought this response might shed some light for you...

The purpose of this memo is in regards to cashing a western union money order. On 08-21-10 2:30 P.M I called the Circle k located at 21212 N. John Wayne pky. Maricopa Az. 85239. I spoke to a male employee. I asked if they were able to cash the aforementioned money order. He replied "yes how much is it for" I indicated that It was for $500.00. He then stated that it would require the assistant manager approval. He further stated that "She" was at the location and that there would be no problem. This was a concern of mine due to the fact that I had to travel a considerable distance. When I arrived at the store I observed three employee's. Two females and one male. I spoke to the Older of the two. She spoke to the younger female employee(who I assumed was the assistant manager) working the register next to her. She(asst. manager) Stated that they were not able to cash the money order. I related to her that in the past I had cashed the exact same money order at their store. I would like reason why I drove all that way for nothing. My time it important. Not to mention the gas it took to drive there. That was the whole purpose for calling ahead. Respectfully submitted.

I shopped at your store at 4860 62nd Ave N, Saint Petersburg FL. My fiancee bought me 305 cigarettes. He asked for 305 Menthol Lights that only come in 100's. The girl gave him a pack of 305 Blue. Which are the light non menthol. I went back with the receipt within a half hour and they refused to correct it for me. The girl actually stated that she had been the only person on the counter the past few hours and had not sold any 305's. I gave her the receipt then she said well we will not return these. I just asked for a switch to the correct kind. She refused very rudely. And told me that obviously he had asked her for the wrong kind because she would not have messed up. I asked for the corporate offices phone # and she actually told me that they did not have a corporate office. I then asked when the manager would be in and was told anytime after 1 pm Monday thru Friday. I asked the other Circle K employee outside smoking when the manger came in and was told open to pm Monday thru Friday. So not only was the employee rude but a liar as well. I will never shop there again. And that is where we gassed our cars weekly.

There is a Circle K Store in Columbiana, OH that my friends/family and I go to very often, at least once a day. Everyone there knows all of us. Everyone except one new young guy that usually works at night. In fact he worked on 7-28-2010 during the night shift. I am completely for people being carded if they do not look to be a certain age. I think it is a great thing and it protects minors. My fiance and I were in that location on 7-28 around 10:25pm. My fiance was purchasing a 6-pack of beer and I was planning to purchase a pair of sunglasses and a hot dog. When we got to the counter the young man asked if we were together and I said no and my fiance said yes. My fiance had his money out and had his ID ready to hand to the kid and he explained to us that because we are together, he needed to see my ID. I did not have my ID on me because I was not planning on purchasing any alcohol, I just wanted a hot dog. Because my fiance wanted to be nice and pay for my stuff, we were unable to purchase the alcohol. So we walked out. When I was underage and I was with family members who purchased alcohol, whoever was paying for it had to show proof of age. I think this 'rule' that this young kid made up is insane. That is telling me that if a 50 year old male comes in with his 12 year old grandson to buy a beer and a hot dog, because his grandson cannot produce ID that man cannot purchase beer?? That is crazy!!! I live in an apartment complex and I have heard so many complaints about this one young man and numerous people will not go back there at all. A man I was talking to said he was 72 years old and the young kid refused him cigarettes because he did not have his ID on him...really?? I personally stop in that store AT LEAST once a day, but I will not be back. Again I understand carding people is the law, but this young man pushed it too far and I promise that location will lose business.

I went to a Circle K in Memphis, Tenn. 585 S Highland. I was actually on duty...I needed gas for my vehicle.I had a company credit card and filled the vehicle at the pump thinking i would get a receipt there; being very much pressed for time. The gas pump receipt dispenser would not give me a receipt. I went into the store, but before entering I notice I thought to be a Circle K empolyee smoking. I thought maybe it wasn't because I had waited for someone to come to the counter but no one came. Finally I notice the woman coming inside she acting like she was mopping the floor. I thought hmh...they have maids? But it was the employee it had gone into 25 minutes! She then said that she thought someone else had waited on me but she was watching me the whole time. I only needed a receipt..then when she finally decided to ring me up she told me to get the receipt myself. So trifling!!!! Is that what and how you appreciate customers that have patronized your store? She's a disgrace!!!!To this organization

Do you people ever address or correct the employees that you have complaints against? Apparently not since my complaint of 6/18/10 has gone nowhere. The individual is still working at the above store and nothing has changed concerning his attitude. I doubt you'll do anything about this, since your customers apparently are not important to your business. After reading all of the above, I guess I'm not the only one who feels this way.
