I have been doing my banking with Chase for a little over 3 years, and when I went to close My 24 month CD account because to my knowledge the maturity date was up. When I made it over to the bank they hit with an 80 dollar fee for closing the account. I understand there is a penalty for closing your account early but I waited until the date of maturity and was told that I would be able to access my funds plus the interest that I gained. But was I wrong, they slapped me with a fee, even after I explained that I was never Notified of the renewal of an additional two year period. To top it off there is no Chase location in the state I live in. Convenience that they promote, I think not. So i would not of been able to access the account from the sate I live in even if I wanted to. So I recently visited Orlando where I originally opened my account and they had no intention of waiving the FEE. Thanks Chase and incentives to save money. THE automated banking system is a fail and will be the downfall of the country, then again the bank system was always detrimental to the country, just take note of early presidents.

Your bank is murderous policies of your customers. If you see that the client has run out of money in the account, why do not you inform about this? Instead, you can only collect interest. My wife refused the services of your bank, and I too will close my account. The same thing I would advise my friends. Because you do not think about people. It's a shame when you lose your hard earned money.

This is just horrible to navigate chase online services, 1) I had to call another friend who has a chase account how to access it on line. just to find out that you must type www.mychase.com. I saw nothing on www.chase.com that says anything about accessing via . www.mychase.com, there were no hint pop-ups & nothing in FAQ that I saw. With all the money Wall Street & the Banks have ripped off, stole & embezeld from the american people you couldn't take a tiny portion of all the executives and pay a web page designer to make a user friendly to access accounts instead of using either either your own in house 2nd level support dept or worse some newlly graduated program designer to come up with this poor excuse. BOf course you probably had every intention of making it as difficult as possible just to frustrate users your customers into giving up.. Not on your life. I have banked with just about all the major us banks in all my years this has to be the absolute worst online banking web site. I myself was a systems programer and systems analyst for a large corp. and we had top of the line state of the art equipent & chase bank had slow out-dated ATM's and will not even do the little things like add additions ram to the ATM's maybe even update the software?

I was a customer with Washington Mutual for a few years before they were sold to Chase. I had a credit line with them that has been lowered to 25% of what it was even though I have always paid off the card. That is not the problem, the real problem is over a year ago I received a bill by mail and noticed they raised my interest rate from 14 to 29% APR. This was about 30 days after Chase bought out WAMU and when I called to ask about what happened they said our payment was late because it posted 1 day after the due date and that is why it is now 29%. I asked to talk to a manager and they refused. I asked for them to put my interest rate back where it was and they refused. The rep on the phone said here's your options, you can pay off your card, close your account, and go to another company. I was shocked by that answer! I just contacted them again about lowering my APR and they said I'm still not getting the lower rate, the only explaination was that they will automatically review every 6 months and decide then if they will lower it. Well I told them I would do it and I am, I'm applying for a Citi card and doing a balance transfer to close my Chase account. Too bad they don't care about their biggest asset, the customer's! Bye bye Chase. Too bad management won't respond to this, but should I be surprised? I think not!

I have been wamu customer for long time, since they switch to chase I have few issues in the past. I recently visited Chase Edgewater New Jersey Branch, I just rented a large box deposit for a year. My second time going to my box ,the person who helped me out it's ADA YUEN ,She criticizes me the way how I dress ,and making stupid comments against me ,and asking me if I am a party girl type blah blah very unprofessional .She also forced me that I should sign some paper to have automatic draw from checking account to continue my box deposit. I refused to do so because I just rented and its only been a month not even near to the expiration date. She argue loudly inside where the box deposit area ,she also insulted me that I don't understand English ,she is an immigrant herself her English wasn't that good either. She won't let me leave the area as I had to yell at her please I HAVE TO GO. She really did ruins my entire day and makes me really upset.Where did Chase hire this kind of people with such a behavior Where should I complaint against to the unprofessional CHASE employee?

Finally found the number to use for CHASE. Start at the top - The CEO's office. Call 212-270-1111; and politely and slowly explain your issues, and they get an "Executive Specialist" in Cleveland to help you.

I need a rating lower than 1 star. They have a wall up so you can't talk to any executive. Just senior paper pushers at "executive offices" all around the country. That number is 877-658-5560 Don't waste your time calling 800-953-9935, it only goes to Manilla in the Phillipines, and junior clerks.

THIS is my letter of complaint to CHASE BANK....It is with great disappointment and frustration that I write this letter of complaint. I am outraged at the lack of consideration, professionalism of your banking institution. Your recent inadequacy has cost me money, time and anxiety. I recently, had a series of grave mistakes made by your bank. Apparently, without notice, my saving account was closed without my knowledge. There was no warning or pre-warning that this would occur under any circumstances. Without being aware of this cancellation, I had my IRS refund check sent to my savings account. Once I figured out what happened, on April 25, 2012, I went to the Columbus, Ohio branch on Cleveland Ave. and was assisted my manager Kimberly Preston (614) 248-2420. At that time, I was told not to worry that since I have a checking account, the refund would automatic be deposited into my account and this should take place within a week. I waited a few more weeks and checked my account several times but no deposit was submitted from the IRS. I later, went into the Morse & Karl Road Branch, and spoke with VP Ana Assis (614) 248-2550. Whom made attempts to help with the process, however, there was nothing to be done to help me receive my $6,941 refund check. I was offered a $1,000 loan but had to later come back and pay this back. My experience with your banking institution has been horrible and I feel I got no resolve to my problem. Due to your lack of efficiency and courtesy. I am closing my checking account and transferring my student loan to another banking intuition that can provide me with better banking services.

Went into the bank near me and asked if they were giving short term personal loans...NO Asked again even if I was with the bank since is was Washinton Mutual...No So being an x school teacher now retired I went back to my credit union and had the loan in 20 minutes for 4.5 percent interest. Think this is the start of a trend. Am in the process of bleeding off my assets with Chase and transfering direct deposits. Bye Chase

I have been with Chase for 30yrs and have been satisified till a couple of years ago. We moved and started using a different branch office (St Helen MI.) what a mistake. My account was set up to have no fees or over drafts fees and over drafts started happening which took several trips to the bank to fix. This last incidence that has happened was I had moved my auto insurance to another company and was sent money back which was put in someone elses account. This has been goin on for a month I 'am about ready to take my business elseware.

I went to open an account in Rancho Bernardo on Rancho Bernardo Center Road here in San Diego, CA. Imagine my surprised to see the Manager and Assistance manager treating a guest Manager (from Chase) in a degrading manner. The manager was a black female and introduced herself while handing her business card to the Branch Assistant Manager (BAM). They (the BAM) went to the Manager and show her card. They both stare at her like she is a bank robber or something. The black female Manager was left standing in the lobby so long until a customer asks if she was lost or needed help. It was absolutely degrading. I have to give the black female Manager credit because she held it together and started greeting their customers. I sat in the lobby and observed this treatment for about 30 minutes. I finally went and spoke to the black Manager and told her what I observed. And she said to me, "it must be a miss understanding, everything is fine" with a smile. She was there for a training class to teach Branch Manager. I knew what I heard and what I observed, so I ask for her business card and yes, I drove to her branch in Oceanside to open up my business account. I would NEVER do business with the Rancho Bernardo Center Branch. BTW- I am a white female business woman. Someone needs to take a good look at this branch (mainly the Manager and Assistant Manager)and how they treat people of other races, especially their own co-workers.

Yesterday when I was doing some transactions at the window in Chase bank at Madison Garden my phone was stolen. It happened when I was talking to the bank employee. I asked the executive manager of the bank to help me, but she refused to talk to me. She was all the time on the phone. When she finished her private business she asked another employee why I came talk to her. She had an attitude, she was very rude and impolite. Nobody could help me. The worst part is that it happened in a bank where there are lots of cameras. There were not many customers at that time, so I can assume that even a bank employee could steal the phone as it was by my side when I was helped by the bank representative. Could you please give me the contacts of the CEO of the Chase branch. Customers are not supposed to be treated the way I was. Thank you so much!

Ken George zaharel1@yahoo.com We are an American family stranded in Romania, Europe for 3 weeks now. Our Chase Bank account was blocked, we can not use our debit card and we have no more money. We have money in our Chase Bank account, but our account was blocked. We called several times Chase Bank and asked to unblock our account so we can have access to our account. We have been told today to call our branch in Whittier, CA so they can call the Executive Department to solve the problem. The Chase Bank branch in Whittier, CA was told that according to my social security I was dead and that is why my account can not be unblocked. We have a joint account anyway. Before leaving for Europe I’ve called Chase Bank and informed them about our trip to Europe and they said that they have made a note in the system about it so they will have doubts about withdrawals made during our stay in Europe. It is such a shame from Chase Bank security department employees to block our account in the light of all these arrangements before our departures. Chase Bank blocked our account after we have applied for a money wire transfer. Before that we received a wire transfer code following a security check identifying our information. We have wasted our last pennies on international telephone calls to Chase Bank in US asking them to solve this problem. Please help us by publishing the injustice and the dirty and malicious tactics Chase Bank are using against us putting us in such a desperate situation. Thank you very much!

WE REFINANCED OUR HOME, AND NOW YOU WANT TO TAKE IT AWAY FROM US BECAUSE YOU RAN OUR CREDIT AND DETERMINED THAT WE COULD PAY A HIGHER MORTGAGE RATE. YOU THEN SOLD OUR ACCOUNT TO A 3-RD PARTY AND THEY RAISED THE MORTGAGE EVEN HIGHER. SO NOW, WE REFUSE TO PAY THIS LOAN AND YOU HAVE THE AUDASITY TO SEW US! NO WAY!!!! WE HAVE AN ATTORNEY AND EVEN IF WE WALK AWAY FROM OUR HOME WITH NO MONEY, GOOD RIDDENS TO YOU BASTARDS!

I am working on my income tax ..and was looking at the balance on a small savings account...when I noticed that there was a monthly charge of $20. ..we have a large money market..and checking acct and credit cards with Chase..On this small account we made $56.92 in interest last year..and paid $20 a month in fees...not bad???? The bank evidently sent out letters stating that they were going to charge a fee if you had a low balance..ours was just under $7,000.. I checked with our other bank First Citizens..they charge $5 a month if you savings goes below $300. This is highway robbery..so much for our accounts at Chase..what is the incentive for people to save?

I recently opened a checking account on line with Chase Bank. They were offering $125 free if you opened your account with at least $100, so I opened mine with $150 with my debit card from one of my other accounts. Unfortunately I did not read the fine print, because I have since found out that you have to maintain a minimum balance or you are charged $12 monthly service fee. So, I decided I would not go through with the account. I had ordered checks, so I knew I had to call them right away. I did it the same day. First of all no one could help me because they did not assign me an account number, this is 4 days later as I write this, and I still do not have an account number. I have called everyday, trying to get my $150 back that they took from my account, I was told I made no deposit, and now I am $23 overdrawn because they ordered the checks. They can only look up my account by my social security number, which then brings up no deposit but a $23 overdraft. Why would they order checks when they said I didn't deposit in the account? I can't access this account on line or any other way. When I talked to a supervisor, (first of all I coulden't understand what she was saying) when I asked her why they did not credit my deposit before ordering checks, she hung up on me!!! I will be contacting their corporate office. SO MUCH FOR CHASE BANK.

Chase Bank either has absolute idiots working there or they are crafty in NOT responding to complaints. I have been making inquiries for over 1 yr. on a SBA loan, in which none of their business bankers have been able to explain THE STATEMENT at 2 local branches, furthermore I sent to them a certified letter with signature receipt. The P.O. confirmed delivery, but CHASE can not find the document. I further had A LOAN DEFERRAL AGREEMENT doc reviewed by an attorney who stated that CHASE was fradulant in their actions. I finally got their attention when I threatened a lawsuit. Over the phone they admitted fault, but would not put the situation in writing, and they now want me to continue allowing them to commit fraud, while they review an application for a loan modification-----HEY ARE THERE ANY ATTORNEYS OUT THERE????ANY CLASS ACTION SUITS I CAN JOIN??? I have a witness of the on SPKR phone calls in which Chase contradicts the other Chase rep., I have voice mails with names and extension #'s, but no main phone #, I have emails through their system that state they would get back to me in 3 business days, but never do, I have records of most their reps in which they say they are making notes on the account, but NO notes are ever found upon the next inquiry----TOTAL LIARS, TOTALLY INCOMPETANT---MY Rating of CHASE is below ONE----maybe .000025 IF YOU ARE IN CHASE BANK---GET OUT---JOIN A CREDIT UNION

Chase really is bad news. I don't have an account with them, however, upon checking my credit report I noticed they pulled my credit for some reason. When I try and get somebody to help me figure out why this happened, I get a complete run around and NOBODY knows ANYTHING about ANYTHING. I still haven't found why. What's wrong with these people. You call the number they tell you to call and when they answer they tell you that you have the wrong number and tell you to call the number that you just called!!! I'm at my wits end and I don't even BANK with them!!!! OMG and I never will!!!!!
