No warranty service done correctly
Birmingham has the worse service dept in this industry. Treat customers like crap. Ill never use camping world service again.
I purchased a used travel trailer from camper world of cocoa fl. Less than 30 later I had a leak in my slide out. I called and got the service dept to look at and fix this issue . This was a small leak and maybe they're missed. After telling me they would fix it and I driving 35 miles they told me they wouldn't fix it . Unless it was less than 30 days.So when I got home mad I realized after looking at my paper work
K it was less than 30 days so I called them and I called them and they agreed to fix it . So I went back and left it. They stopped the leak but told me they weren't going to fix the damage . So I'm going back this week and get my travel trailer. And i will do my best to make sure no one buys from them. They slowed me a defective unit. I wouldn't have considered buying this if they would have pointed this out. These people are crooks and do not by from these people.
I bought a brand new camper 3 months ago, took the camper home set it up, looked over it really well had to take the camper to Byron camping world for some minor repairs, it is STILL at camping world in Byron. I have made 3 payments on this camper and I have not been camping in it ONCE. My family and I are going to go on vacation next week, we had to rent a hotel room on our vacation because we don't have a camper to take with us. Byron service department has POOR customer service.
Bought new 2015 Palazzo 6/20/2014. Two days later unsafe fuel pedal. Longmont Co Camping World (where I bought it) says they don't have the equipment to read the codes and fix it. Local Trans West says 40 days for appointment. Camping World doesn't believe they have an obligation to do anything but get your money.
Need help with our RV we bought from Camping World in Chattanooga,Tenn . This is the second coach we bought and have had nothing but problems with it.Please tell us who can get these people to fix the problems. NO ONE WILL RETURN OUR PHONE CALL.
Don't waste your time fokes, I tried to take my problems to the top with the motor home we bought from the location in Harrisburg, pa location and this CEO can't pick up a phone and call people back that made camping world what it is sad, sad ,sad, and to speak with the store manger he will tell you straight out he don't care
We bought a 2013 ACE from cw in charleson sc and have NOTHING but problems with it!! 1st repair took them almost a month to "fix" and its still not right!! You want to use the RV to get away for awhile not stress about whats going to go wrong next!! Service dept SUXS!! Do not buy or have anything repaired here!!!
My wife and i bought a 115,000 dollar used holiday rambler from camping world in myrtle beach south carolina it was not the highest priced unit on the lot but for us it was. the sales person matt was good the rest of the staff sucked.they changed the oil and did not tighten the filter and i lost seven quarts of oil from myrtle beach to circleville,ohio i wonder who was going to pay for a cummings diesel engine if would have blown up. i call the myrtle beach store they could less. in the future i hope to drive on by there stores but i bought number of there so call service agreements hope there not worthless.don't how you get the size they are treating this way.
We bought a 16' Coleman RV. We knew nothing except tent camping. Jim Graham of Camping World in Katy ,Texas was a life-saver. He was patient and not condescending. We are 2 older women, and scared, but he was a God-send. He even called the day after we got it because we went straight to a campground (Stephen F. Austin State Park, Texas). When he found out we couldn't get it level, turn hot water on, or even get jacks down, that day,( his day off) he came out and fixed everything and showed us how to do it. He never made us feel bad . We even consider him a FRIEND now. Thank you Camping World. We stayed 4 days and are ready to go again. If it wasn't for Jim Graham, it would not have been such a great experience.
I purchased a Thor motorcoach in January 2013 from Avondale CW.
A new unit which had so many problems I had to return it for repairs 4 different times, one of which was for 8 days. Over this three month period I was assured that everything would be corrected. We are leaving AZ next week and the problems have not been corrected. There was to be another date to fix the remaining troubles and the parts for that repair were to arrive on April 2. Today is the 13th and the parts have not arrived and no date has been offered for the repairs to be made. Several of the needed repairs have been worked on before, water leaks, door adjustments, cabinet doors, window shades, etc, and are still waiting to be repaired. I now have to travel accross the country to get home and then find another facility to finish these repairs.
The service is obviously not competant nor is there a desire by this business to do what is right. I have left messages and received no return calls on several occasions. This business is no place to go to have anything done. I've been three months trying and haven't been given a reason for such delay.
My hope is that we can get home without having to stop for repairs.
