I HAVE A COMPLAINT ABOUT YOUR MOCHA JOES. WHAT WERE YOU THINKING WHEN YOU CHANGED THE COFFEE RECIPE???? IT IS TOO STRONG. MY ASSOCIATES AND I USE TO GET 6 OF THESE EACH MORNING UNTILL YOU SWITCHED THE COFFEE. NOW ,TO BE HONEST, WE GO TO MCDONALDS FOR THE COFFEE. PLEASE GO BACK TO THE ORIGINAL!!!! THANK YOU PENNY,PGH,PA

OTHER THAN THE MOCHA JOE CHANE, WE LOVE BURGER KING!!!

I went to the Burger King on Boughton rd. in Bolingbrook Illinois and ordered 2 fresh double cheese burgers, one with everything, and one with no pickle to be placed in separate bags. We had no way of knowing which was which and they were not placed in seperate bags as if the mexican manager did not understand proper english. The food was totally NOT fresh, and one of the burgers was made very sloppy and off track with pickles (instead of without) and mustard on my bun. I understand that most of these immigrants do not always get your food order right based on their original language, but what I did not understand is when I took the food back for REPLACEMENT, THE STORE MANAGER "KNOWN AS LULU" ACTUALLY DENIED GIVING ME A NEW SANDWICH!!! So I just asked her for a refund and handed her my receipt. Then she actually seen my sandwich and the receipt and said "NO YOU CANNOT HAVE A REFUND AND I WILL NOT MAKE YOU ANOTHER SANDWICH!!" Now I remember BURGER KING for the quote "HAVE IT YOUR WAY" instead I paid for a horable prepared double cheese burger with mustard on my bun and was FORCED to have it their way!! This is MOST DEFINATELY the VERY LAST TIME I will eat at Burger King until I am compensated for my time, money and inconveinence. And I will continue to let people know about their services at the Bolingbrook location. Burger King Should be VERY aware of the people they hire. And their customer SERVICE procedures are TERRIBLE! Thats why McDonalds is still number 1. And Wendys is 2nd. BURGER KING TOTLLAY SUCKS AND I SEE IM NOT THE ONLY PERSON WHO AGREES.

As I got ready to write my comment I began to read some of the other comments from customers and their experiences. Its a wonder how this company stays open with all these complaints. I also wonder if company officials even read these comments. I have most always been satisfied with the food. My comment is simply about their recent commercials advertising their breakfast menu. All I can say is thank God for the remote control.

WHY IS THE LETTUCE ALWAYS BROWN and nasty?????????? Every BK I visit, in MIlwuakee, WI has the same nasty brown lettuce? Do they chop it up the night before and serve it the next day? YUK!

I am a employe of Bk and I dont like the way we are treated no rises no movement up the ladder in store I thought everyone had a fair chance at positions avaible and coming open they are treated unfair, been there almost 2yrs this stinks Bk Employment overall all magners are great yet employment advances stinks

I am appalled at Burger King's latest commercial including a pitbull biting a mailman. This is disgusting. Pitbulls should not be protrayed in such a negative manner. This is why dogs like the pitbull get bad names. It is due to the uneducated making jokes or using them inappropriately. Burger King you have lost a lot of customers due to this commercial. I hope your marketing people smarten up and get with the program.

As an owner of a pitbull mix and purebred rottweiler, your latest commercial is disgusting!!! A mailman being attacked by these K9s does not depict what they are really like. It is ignorance to think these pets all are mean. The owners of the aggressive ones should carry the blame, not the animal. Show them love and they return it, just like humans. If BK wants to show bias, here is my take on bigotry! McDonalds has much better sandwiches, fries and real Coke than BK. Probably why I don't eat at your establishments, now as a pet owner, I have one more reason to pass by your way and really have it my way!!!!

MY SON AND I WENT TO BURGER KING IN BAY ST. LOUIS MS. THE LADY WAS ON THE PHONE,HAD TO WAIT A COUPLE MIN. THERE WERE NO FRIES MADE SO TOOK MY HAMBURGER AND WAITED FOR THE FRIES. THE FRIES WERE HALF COOKED W/NO SALT.THERE WERE ALSO NO STRAWS BY THE DRINK MACHINE.  I APPROACHED THE LADY, STILL ON THE PHONE AND ASKED TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER. SHE SAID, I AM THE MANAGER, STILL HOLDING THE PHONE. I COMPLAINED ABOUT THE SERVICE AND THE FRIES,A LADY RAN OUT OF THE BACK ROOM AND STARTED SCREAMING AT ME THAT SHE COOKED THE FRIES AND DID PUT SALT ON THEM. I ASKED THE MANAGER HER NAME. AND THE OTHER LADY HERS.SHE SCREAMED AT ME, WHAT IS YOUR NAME? THE MANAGER SAID SHE WAS HAVING PROBLEMS W/ A CHILD. I TOLD HER THAT SOUNDED LIKE A PERSONAL PROBLEM AND SHE SHOULD LEAVE THEM AT HOME. --THIS IS VERY UNEXCEPTIONAL IN THE WORKPLACE, DEALING W/THE PUBLIC WHO PAYS THEIR SALARIES.

On 09/11/10 I went to the Burger King located at the corner of Telegraph and Victoria in Ventura, Calif. I ordered a Whopper hamburger through the drive-thru; upon biting into the hamburger I bit into something hard and immediately felt a jab on the roof of my mouth thus scraping it. When this happened I immediately stopped eating the hamburger, opened it and found a piece of splintered wood approximately one inch in length and approximately a quarter inch in width, the splinter of wood was sandwiched between the hamburger meat and the lettuce; it was also noted that the splinter of wood has traces of dark blue paint on it. I immediately reported the incident to the manager and followed up my complaint to the local franchise owner of Burger King and The Enviromental Health Department of Ventura County. This unfortunate incident is not only a serious violation of proper food handling, but the wood could also poise a hazard as simple as a factured tooth to the extreme such as perforation of the bowel. It was an unfortunate incident that left me with no desire to patronize Burger King again.

The problem with these restaurants is they like to employ a hierarchy of incompetence in the management. The crew managers/supervisors are often abusive to the crew members and spend most of their time slacking and taking meals. The real work always falls on the assistant manager and the cashiers who are often forced to prepare and serve food while taking orders while the rest of the crew tends to skip out of the kitchen and find something to do other than their job. There are times when the work is coordinated and things are flowing semi-smoothly, but these are the time when the supervisors are taking their 2nd or 3rd paid 90 minute meal break. The next problem is the upper management often criticizes the amount of waste the store is producing. The result of this is a fear that drives the lower management to ignore the company's and Board of Health's regulations and policy, and commit such violations as: mixing stale and unpleasant tasting expired food with fresh food, disregarding expiration buzzers on held food, ignore expiration labels on prepackaged foods, and abuse any crew member who attempts to ensure the expected customer satisfaction by giving them fresh, unexpired food. The basic attitude and statement is, "We don't care." "Nobody cares, just sell the food, if the customer complains then we'll do something about it." The "Peter Principle" is in full effect throughout the entire organization, except for, (possibly,) the very highest position(s) in top corporate management. The next issue is the common practice of the employment of illegal aliens who have incorrigibly poor sanitation habits. To wash their hands is to do a quick rinse without scrubbing or soap and then a quick wipe with a paper towel. The sanitizer is used once or twice a day by an occasional employee who might have had to clean up a really bad mess in the bathroom. The only time any semblance of following good sanitary practices is when the management sends a guy around to check up on the stores. The typical store usually gets demotes on sanitary practices, food handling practices, food storage practices, and customer interactions. The current depression that we are experiencing has cut the customer by about 50%, this further institutionalizes the neglect and morass of the employee as there are no bonuses for the management and no raises or promotions for the crew. The typical Burger King store hasn't given employee raises for the last 3 years, while the management received bonuses, in exchange for not giving raises. Although there are a few good people working at Burger King their efforts are severely sabotaged by the incompetence of those they work with leaving them feeling depressed and unenthusiastic about their careers. So, when you ask yourself why Burgers and fries don't taste good and fresh like they're supposed to, just realize that the employees and management don't care, but if you complain in a reasonable manner they'll make it up to you by giving you the same thing. So, what can the customer do about this, other than to quit eating there? Well, if you love the taste of their food, as you would imagine it's supposed to taste, then order everything off the broiler and no salt. Watch carefully though, because often times they'll just give a the stale long expired foods from their holding pans and try and act like it's off the broiler. Make sure you see them drop the food in the broiler or the fryer and follow it all the way to your tray. Watch carefully for the bare handed Mexican dishwasher who might be doing two jobs at once, switching between cleaning the dishes and preparing the food. In the late hours they make the dishwasher clean the restrooms. If you can visually locate the hand sink from the counter, observe how often it's employed by the crew. If you see it used at all in a span of 15 minutes you are in one of the more sanitary Burger Kings. On the other hand, I've never seen anyone spit in the food, although if raw food hits the floor when there's no customers watching, or cameras, it usually gets cooked and served.

(Continued) In addition to all the above mentioned issues The crew employees are forced to take unpaid half hour lunch breaks with half cost meals, although they are by law mandated to be allowed several 15 minute breaks throughout the day, the allowed breaks are limited to 2 five minute breaks a day. Here's the rule, though. A Burger King employee off the clock may not spend more than 30 minutes in the store, before or after their time on the clock. So, if you are not on the clock and working, you are not allowed to be in the store for more that 30 minutes. There is a reason why they wear uniforms. It appears that there was more than a little truth in the old National Lampoon parody of fast food restaurants which was aptly titled "Fascist Food".

My husband and I went through the drive through today for lunch, as we were pulling forward to the pick up window there was an employee spraying a hose in that area, I paused for a moment thinking he would stop spraying so I could get to the window, but he didn't, so I very slowly started to pull forward and he started yelling at my husband and I in spanish. When the woman came to the window to take my money, I asked her why did he yell at us? I don't speak spanish which made it even more rude, she replied "oh no, he was talking to me" I said no he wasn't because she had not even opened the window yet. She said something to him in spanish and he said something back to her then she told me he just didn't want to get my car wet. I don't believe that for a second!! I asked to speak to the manager, and she informed me that she was the manager. She was not wearing a name badge so I asked what her name was. She replied angrily WHY!, I said so I can call the corporate office and complain. She didn't say another word to me, turned around and walked away. She had another employee give me my change and food, which by the way was terrible, the onion rings were cold and looked like they had been smashed, and the whopper and chicken sandwich were cold too, and tasted awful. the address to this facility is : 6115 E. HWY 100, Palm Coast , Fl 32164 . the name on the receipt was Raquel. I will never go to that burger king again and will tell everyone I know about that experience hoping they will not go as well. This is America, and I respect other nationalities but you would think when dealing with customers that do not speak spanish, that only english would be spoken. This was the worst experience ever!!!! 9/7/10

having ingested tens of thousands of burgers, the whopper has always held tthe top spot on my list of great burgers! your breakfasts were also ahead of the competition. speaking of which, there is no 'fast-food' restaurants in this area. moreover, there are no drive-thu restaurants in the entire country! what an opportunity exists here for a drive-thu, burger king restaurant. there are over 100,000 young students enrolled at more than 15 different colleges and universities in this city. yet, no fast-food hamburger restaurants. . . please consider putting this city on the burger king map of places to begin revamping the burger king success story. the name of the place is ubonratchathani, kingdom of thailand. that's U B O N R A T C H A T H A N I . . . THANK YOU FOR ALL THE GREAT FOOD ! WISH YOU WERE HERE.

I went to Burger King #10849 (956-544-4300) for lunch today (8/24/10). I ordered a #1 (whopper no mayo or onions, onion rings, and drnk). I noticed that cook had placed some of the burger in what may have been a microwave oven, then placed the burger on the window for an upcoming order. I'm not sure if this was my burger. I sat down in the dining room and proceeded to have lunch. I took took two bites of my burger which was made the way I ordered it; however, it was tasteless. I opened the burger and the meat had two colors - pinkish and brownish/greenish. It seemed as if the burger had been cooked previously then refrigerated and then placed on a warmer for quick serving. The meat did not appear to have been freshly cooked. I took my burger back with my complaint and was brought a fresh burger. The burger tasted the same as the first one - tasteless, not fresh. I enjoy the taste of a freshly charbroiled burger. As I continued to eat my tasteless burger, a rather full-figured female employee came to wipe up the tables in the dining room. She gave me a look that she was not too happy that I had complained. Then she proceeded to wipe up the tables. She kept looking around and not looking at what she was wiping up on the tables. She didn't even wipe up the tables entirely. From where I was sitting, you could see the dirty smudges and dried up food on the tables. What happened to the days of training people to really care about their work. I tell you it is a rat race out there, and people just don't seem to care. I won't ever order from BK or eat at a BK ever again.

I went to BK this morning and while I was waiting on my food, I saw the person in charge of making the sandwiches reach around and scratch his backend and then continue to make the food ,no gloves or hair net. I feel they should always wear gloves and a hair net. I will probably not go back to BK again. I love the taste of the food but until they make some positive changes I can't take my children there and feel good about it.

I went to the Burger King located on Pierson Rd in Flint, Michigan Tuesday night at about 10:15. Here is my issue; Every time that I go to this restaurant, it is insanley slow for just little things. This particular night I ordered 2 buck doubles (which had so much grease on it that the bun was soaked!!!). There were three cars in front of me and yet it took 27 minutes to complete my order. This happens often which is why I hate going to that particular store. The window worker was great. Her disposition was professional and she apologized for taking so long. You lost money as well because while I sat there like an idiot...an hungry idiot, I saw at least three cars pull from behind me to leave. Let me just add that while I prefer BK over McDonalds, you are making it easy to go to McDonalds!!! I will also add that last Tuesday was the absolute last time that I will visit that particular store! Marty javanless@aol.com

Me and my family went to Burger King And This Spanish Lady had no name tag on her uniform. She didnt even say Hi,Hello,May I Take Your Order?! She didn't even talk a bit. Another Day we had gone there and had coupons, she refused to take our coupons. Also she is very very rude she doesn't know how to do customer service. She usually works in the evening shift. So, from now on we are not going to Burger King but are going to other Restaurants. This location is Burtonsville MD, Store #6387. We have been going there for many years from now and we have NEVER seen any employee give us that type of Customer Service. She Never smiles Never talks. Someone needs to train this disrespectful women!! Thank You And We Really Want Feed Back From You. Steve Sandhu StarImport@aol.com

My husband and I decided to get food from Burger King in Killeen,Texas today (July 5th, 2010 at 12:35pm). This is your only location in Killeen. This location is about 15-20 miles from our home. We had a million other options along the way. We pulled up to the box to order a meal for each of us. The employee taking our order rushed my husband as he was placing our order. We WERE NOT finished with our order and she gave us the total. My husband told her we still needed more added. The employee said she couldn't add it at that point and to add it at the window when we got there to pay. Well, we were waiting in line in the heat forever because this location is slower than sin. We get to the front window and were asked to pay over $18.00 for 2 combos!! There is no way the price was right. Then we did as we were told and asked to add the rest of our order. There was NO ONE behind us at all. The employee then kept pointing to the tiny sign that stated no orders could be placed at the window. We were not trying to place an order. We were trying to complete our order which she refused to finish taking while we were at the box!! Then she refused to let us complete the order as she had told us we would be able to do. We drove away with out any food! I called the store immediately and asked for a store manager. The lady that answered said she was a store manager and refused her name! I explained what happened and she replied she was sorry and was tacky in speaking with me. I said, "That's it?! You are sorry?! That all you can do?! She said yes, that's it. I put my husband on the phone and she was loud and tacky with him as well and stated she would handle it. He informed her that we would be contacting corporate. We do not believe that anything "will be handled". We have lost about 30-40 miles of gas and over an hour of our time just to go to your restaurant, as well as being treated like dirt by Burger King's not so professional employees and management! I have personally been in fast food for over 20 years. This is not a professional store or team. We will never visit or or spend our hard earned money at a place like that. We will go out of our way to share our experience with everyone we possibly can. I am personally considering taking out an ad in the newspaper to tell everyone what kind of service we received and how we were treated at your business.
