Great Service and Products

I have 3 bright house services (cable, phone and internet) and they are wonderful. We've NEVER had bad customer service and our up time is probably 99%. Much better than Dish and CC! We had a bright house tech come out just last week to upgrade to a hd dvr. He installed our new box then he hooked up our home theatre, programmed our remote and helped my husband mount a tv on the wall. Davenport, FL

Terrible Service

For the past two months, Bright House has provided substandard cable service and I am being charitable saying substandard. The channels were constantly going down, including Encore channel. We pay an additional fee for this service. When we called to report the outage, the representative would alway indicate there were no reports of problems in our area. Meanwhile, my neighbors with Bright House were experiencing similar problems. This past Saturday, the technician told us that there had been a widespread cable problem in our area for the past two months but the problem had been solved and we should have no further outages. Well, a day later, Encore is down again. What a mess.

terrible customer service

I ordered new services and when they arrived they told me the people that lived there before stole cable and they had to rewire the whole house. I called the main number and after being on hold for over an HOUR, I finally spoke to a representative. She told me they would take care of everything and I had nothing to worry about and they would send someone out the next morning to fix everything for me. The next morning, the cable guy came out and tried to charge me for fixing the jumbled mess and then left saying he would return. He never returned and I still dont have my services. After calling back and speaking with a supervisor, he promised me I would be up and running that same, day, no one came back and no one called. I'm taking my services to another company that actually wants to work with me!!!

Constant problems

I have had nothing but trouble for the last few months. All my Bright House services...phone, internet and cable TV constantly break up and fail. I must use my cell phone if I want a reliable connection. I have had many technicians out to repair, but nothing gets fixed. It seems all the techs are trained to say the same things..."I'll monitor your line and get back to you." If there was another cable company around like Fios, I would jump on it in a minute. Worst service problems I have ever experiencd.

I have been have problems at my home since May 2012, I have had over 30 Repersentativs at in and at my home since May,2012, I have spoken to numrous supervisors,Missed appointment, sitting home missing work, Brighthouse no show no call i mssed 3 hours here 2 hours there and when they final arrive and asset the promblem they immediately start throughing the previous technician under the bus. i love this one, your appointment is between 2 and 4.The technician show up at 11;30 am and calls im at your house. As of today i still have problems with Brighthouse. The advertisement offers are very,very fase. One day there will be enough people that will come together and hold Bright House Accountible for the false advertisement. As of todays date 11/2/2012 i have put together a folder thats starting to over run with dates times and repersentatives id #. One day Bright House someone will hold you guys accountable for that false advertisement. Customers need to come together to fight this problem. They cant just keep charging for their services and not be held accountable for there false advertisement. THANKS AGAIN BRIGH HOUSE FOR NOTHING, BUT A BILL ONCE A MONTH.

Where is the NFL Network !!! It's been years since the network came out and it is still unavailable for Brighthouse customers. Football is America's number 1 sport and I am sure football fans would even pay more if it was offered on a premium channel. I can't understand what $$ issue could possibly continue to hold up providing us with this channel. Do we need to go to CenturyLink (who is banging on my door and mailbox daily)??? This issue must be resolved!

If you like commercials brighthouse tops everyone.Its annoying,aggravating to say the least. I want more choices not a monopoly..They make a fortune and most of why we say the advertisements every 8 mins..The theme should be goodbye friend!

I think I originally saw this on OSP, too. Anyway, I went out and got some and they work great! 75 cents for a 2 pack Here's a tip: they are caleld set screws or set screw sockets. I got the 1/2 long size they will make your PW fit flush against the camera body. If you can't find 1/2 , the next size up is 3/4 , which is what Chris had in the video. You can also use plastic washers to stack in between if you're using 3/4 . It's a good idea to get an alan wrench to get the screws out if one gets stuck (note: the alan wrench socket is on one end only, so it's probably better to have that part going in to your PW).Here's to simple solutions that make shooting easier! We recently paid our Bright House acct via our online banking acct. Someone with a Bright House ID took our check as well as four other Bright House customer checks and cashed them at a Whitney Bank. Bright House said they are not responsible and refuses to credit any of the accounts. It is obvious this fraud is being committed by a current or past employee.

It looks like people only come here to complain, but let me tell you that I've been happy with Brighthouse. I have tried the two dish services, but was unhappy that they always lost signal during the frequent storms we have here in the Tampa area. I have never had that problem with Brighthouse. My cable, phone and internet have all been problem free since I switched to Brighthouse a couple of years ago. On the rare occasion when I needed customer service help (resetting after a power outage - something I now know how to do myself), I called and was helped right away.

after t.v whe digital from analog I lost all of my 4 stations I use to ger. I got a convert box and with my roof antennae I got back some of my stations, the only problem is when it rainrd I lost all the reception, so that is when I decided to get the basic cable and road runner high speed for 65.00/month the reception is great and I don't lose reception any more. now I find out they cancelled 2 of my favorite stations met 2-2 and 18-2 cw network it seems that the network stopped negotiations on the channels and brighthoiuse wvidently doesn't want to pay the extra to keep the channels noe I am down to 5 weather channels 4 spanish channels that I need as much as general custer needed more indians at little big horn for what it is worth I am ready to go back to roof antennae and take my chances on the weather. all I have left is ion t.v and 27-2 antennae t.v. whicn doesn.t even give me thae stations I liked they should give me 2 of their paid stations in plce of what I lost for the same price I am paying because I am not getting what I paid for!!!!!

I was told I have to pay twise for a DVD box.i pay for cable and a box to my apt.if I want a hd box I need to pay for a box to brite house as well as my apt.not going to happen. If this is not corrected I will drop my cable and tell others to do the same.

I have my Ipad2 that I still used apps for bhtv . I used it alot but last month that bhtv had upgrade then not show close caption ( subtitle ) for deaf read . Many of my friend called me and upset that roadrunner and brighthouse on apps that not show close caption (subtitle ) . I ask you Please go check on market apps and tell them to fix turn back on close caption .

I switched my business line from Verizon to Brighthouse 5 months ago and it is pure hell. The Technicians cant seems to fix the problem. Whenever I dial a long distance number...say to New York, I will first dial a 1 in front of the area code, it tells me "your call cannot be completed", I then dropped the 1 in front, and it goes through. The next call I decided not to put the 1 in front of the area code, I get the same message that says "your call cannot be completed as dial", I place the 1 in front and it goes through. One of your Tech also advised it must be a problem with my phone,,,,it is not a problem with the phone...I am using the same phone when I had Verizon service.

i purchesed a hotpoint washing machine they installed it ,but it keep triping the eletric when i went 2 the shop and expressed that i was paying 4 sumthing i cnt use ! the reply i had was at least i would b having a washer at the end of it, the booked a repair 4 day and they havent showed up, and the utter frustration im feeling is unreal at the end of the day i have 3 children and rely on my washer i will not b purchesing anything else from there company !

In 2005 I established Cable Service with Brighthouse. On July 31, 2006 we left Tampa and returned to Jacksonville, FL returning our equipment to the 56th and Fowler Street Location as requested. In 2008 we returned and established Brighthouse Service and left in 2010/2011 returning our equipment again with no issues and then returned in 2011 leaving in 2012...returning our equipment again. We have had Brighthouse on SEVERAL occasions and NEVER had an issue of owing for equipment. In January 2012 when I paid my bill, I paid to cover 4 months but we decided on Verizon because of their customer service being better and switched so a refund of $187.17 was owed to me. All of a sudden a debit of $55 is coming up stating we never turned in equipment in 2006 which I know we did. There was no reason for us to keep the equipment because Brighthouse is not in Jacksonville, FL. We have been given the run around about our funds from MULTIPLE supervisors including John J9H and Rachel H55 as well as fabricated stories as to when refunds were submitted claiming they were sent on April 5, and then again on May 1 which we have never received any payments, as well as amounts. I spoke with Rachel on April 20 (which the call was NOT documented) and she placed me on hold to verify with the Accounting Department that a check for the $187.17 would be sent out as of April 23 and would take 7-14 Business Days as she was expediting the issue and no on the 3rd of May I am being told this was not the case. We canceled our service on March 16 where I took the equipment to the Wesley Chapel office on 54. What is the problem. Everytime I call there is a different story. There is an issue with me getting money back owed to me. I paid my bill with my hard earned money well before the due date and with enough money to cover a few months. Does it make sense for me to wait this long? Why is a charge coming from 2006 when we have never received a bill or request? I want my $187.17 now!
