124 Reviews For Bonefish Grill Headquarters & Corporate Office

We frequent the location in Centreville Virginia. Good food and the owner, Joe Ortega has a great staff and is very service orientated. My question is when are you going to get rid of the chick peas and go back to the mixed veggies?

I am a recently fired employee from the Bonefish Grill in Asheville, North Carolina. I requested off for a family engagement three weeks in advance. Not surprisingly my manger Andy scheduled me anyways. I called my manager and told him that he had scheduled me to work but I had already asked off. He responded with several rude comments and told me I would have to speak to another manager about my personal problem. From this point on I was taken off the schedule without either one of my managers informing me that I had been let go. I believe that this was very unprofessional for what is supposed to be an upstanding restaurant. I encountered another unpleasant situation today when I went to the restaurant and picked up my tip shares and checks. I followed my manger, Seth, back to the office, as I have done in the past, to get my tip shares and checks. Once I entered the kitchen my manger turned to me and screamed at me to get out of his kitchen because I no longer worked there. I am very disturbed by these events. I feel that the managers of this particular Bonefish are very rude to their employees and are not encouraging. These two men do not inspire good work ethic and a positive work environment. They are rude and obnoxious to all of their employees. I am disgusted by their behavior. After working under these two men and having been treated the way I was I have readjusted my attitude and have strived not to be rude or mean to anyone, remembering how violated and underappreciated I felt while working at the Bonefish. I truly hope that these two men are contacted and informed of this review and are finally put in their place. Thank you, Chelsea Ensley

We went to celebrate Mother's Day at your Rt. 70 Bricktown, NJ location. WHAT A MISTAKE. We have a winter home in Highland Lake, Florida, and have visited your restaurants in Florida many times. Always a delightful experience. Upon entering your Bricktown restaurant we knew it was downhill from there. Our 6PM reservation turned out to be a 7:10PM seating. We were placed at a folding table with folding chairs by the bar. I am a 240 pound man and my wife is a heavy woman. I was never so uncomfortable in my life. The food? Both my seabass and my wife's steak had to be sent back to be recooked. They obviously were trying to move us out to get the next cash customer in. We were sitting close to the kitchen and were entertained by the yelling and screaming by the guy with the apron handing food out. Our waitress was telling the people at the tall table behind us how hungry she was. Even she wasn't going to eat the food. I know there is a lot of money to be made on a day like Mother's but is the greed worth it in the long run? We will dine again at Bone Fish just not in NJ. They should be ashamed of themselves. I have been a loyal customer of the Bonefish Grill located at 43135 Broadlands Center Plaza, Ashburn, Va. 20148, for over 6 years. My daughter at one point worked for the proprieter, John Sampogna. I called for a reservation for Mother's Day, on Friday, May 7, 2010, at approximately 815pm. I was put on hold for about five minutes, and when the representative of the Bonefish Grill answered the phone to take my reservation that I was going to make for Mother's Day, Sunday, May 10th, there was an extreme amount of noise at the phone he was using in the greeting area of the restaurant. I suggested that he move to a different phone, and he rudely told me that the problem was not with his phone, but with my phone. I asked the person who I was speaking with his name and that I wanted to speak with a manager. He told me his name was James, and that a manager was not available. I asked to sit in a section that was served by our favorite server, Jurelyn T., and he told me he could not guarentee me a table at her section. I explained to him that my wife and I were 6 year regular customers, and he responded that he did not know everyone who came through the door. He was extremely rude. I then told him that when I came to dine on Mother's Day that I would introduce myself to him so that he would know who I was from that point on. I was so upset by the conversation that I called back to the restaurant to speak with John Sampogna, the proprietor. I explained to John what had happened and he took full responcibilaty for the shortcomings of his staff, and told me anytime I had a problem that I should call and ask for him. I explained that I had done so and that was told he was unavailable. I also told him that I was going to introduce myself to the reservationist, James, and he told me that it sounded like I was theatening his reservationist. I hate to think that that is what John thinks of me, escecially when I have been a loyal customer for the lenth of time that I have. It was a real insult. I have received many questioneers when I have paid by bill and all of them I have responded to favorably, to the degree that he posts the comments on the board in the staff area. I have had Juryly T. as a server for years and regularly tip her in the 40-50 percent range, which is a great tip, in this or any other economy. I would also add, that if James felt he had been threatened by me, I would have thought that he would have said something to management since he had my name and phone number that I gave for the reservation that I made. John,s comment to me about making a threat makes me believe that he has some underlying feeling about me, which is offensive beyond my imagination. I am a retired Washington, D.C. police officer, and I now teach school in Loudoun County Virginia. I do not think that I have held the positions that I have by making idle threats. I just wanted to let you know that I have no intention of ever going to the Bonefish Grill again. You have lost a valuable customer, and a customer who at one time felt like the Bonefish was my home away from home to eat. I will not be insulted by anyone, and no amount of apologies can make an unfounded insult right. I also will tell all of my friends about the rude experince that I received, and I forgot to mention that this is the second time that I have had an incident with James. The last time he sat me in a different section from where Jurlyn T. was working, and she got the manager and had me moved. I hope in the economy that you can afford to treat longtime customes like this and continue to survive. I shutter to think how many other people have been offended by the front staff at the Bonefish and have not taken the time to write and tell you. They simply chose to go the Clyde's, which is next door, or any other of number of restaurants in the area. I am truely devestated by these events. Cary J.
