I called Bonefish for reservations on Fri. Mar 11 for my boyfriend's birthday. I told them it was a birthday. There were many people waiting when we got there but they honored the reservation & actually upgraded the table before we were seated. The food was great! The server was rather busy (it was crowded) but 2 other representatives (managers?) came by to ask if everything was OK. They surprized my boyfriend by bringing a fancy brownie with a candle in it. They were wonderful & we will go back!

Had a horrible experience at your Gaithersburg, Maryland location. I hosted a charity event on a Sunday afternoon in early December and it was a disaster. The owner Mark Underwood, offered to comp all of the dinner as a donation to my fundraiser, and then reniged on the day of the event. He was not even at the restaurant. The manager, Larry, on duty, treated myself, my family and all of my guests very rudely. I wrote a letter to Mr. Underwood stating my disappointment and never got a response from him. I will never visit his restaurant again and have advised everyone I know to do the same.

Very disappointed last night! Our server, was not what I would call a great or friendly server. We sat for 5 minutes before he delivered water...it was not busy, this was at 4 p.m. in the afternoon! Very long time to get food after ordering and when delivered, au gratin potatoes were luke warm, broccoli was over cooked, steak was just warm, lobster was fine. The presentation of the food was excellent as we split the steak and lobster and were served with two plates with the food split...nice touch! Server never came back during our meal to check on us. When finished, we ordered strawberry short cake. Another server brought cake and we asked him to tell server to bring us our check, server brought us our check with no comment, no thank you, no nothing! He just gave us the check. He never told us it was happy hour, we heard it from the server at the booth next to us. She sounded great...informative, friendly and willing to serve! All in all, we made an special effort to make sure we stopped in Bone Fish while on vacation and were very disappointed. Maybe our server had no interest in us as we didn't order cocktails and split our dinner and he only made $6 on our tip. My point is that when we go to a nice restaurant like Bone Fish, we expect excellent service, great and warm food and a pleasant experience, we go neither. I have e-mailed this twice to Bonefish with no response...will NEVER go again...stay away...ready the reviews...Limited menu and over priced! Go To Carabra's...Itailian.

I took 2 friends and my step dad there for his 94th B'day. I made reservations and told them it was his 94th B;day. While several tables around us received a piece of cake with a candle, we did not receive antthing. we were not even offered dessert. I cked the bill and saw they over charged 1 extra bang bang shrinp and charged me a la cart for the same dinner dad had . $13.50 is a bit much for a ceaser salad w/ scalops. The bill was $111.00.00 The suprise 94th b.day dinner was a bust. Should have gone to nancy lopez like last year. I have been to your resturant in Ft Lauderdale numerous times but I will not go back to your resturant again. motsmots@embarqmail.com sincerely George

My name is Eliseo Perez, and i used to work at Bonefish Grill in Brandon, Florida. I was fired today as of January 22, 2011,over false allegations. Also for doing as what the scheduling website had posted. I called to verify the same day that i recieved the message from a manager, saying that i was deleted from the schedule for the following day and that whole work week. He told me that he would inform the culinary chef manager. Apparantly that never happened. The other manager/owner told me he was never informed that i wasn't supposed to come in. I had called the day that i was supposedly supposed to cover the pm prep shift, and was put on hold twice by the hostess, who claims to not remember the incident. I have phone records that state i called three times before the shift had to be filled. I never was contacted back. I assumed that they were busy and decided to call that same night after the rushtime slowed down. I was informed by the manager/owner to come in today. He first told me upon starting today that i was supposed to come in yesterday. I then knew what was happening as he walked me to a table in the back with the person who sent me the message stating that i was not to come in on the days i got fired for not coming on. I am very upset and feel that i should not let this happen to anyone else. I plan on finding out what i can do about this. so here i am with a family to support and no employment. I felt that the partnership owner and the manager's worked together to unemploy me. I did nothing wrong and im accused of faslse rumors. I feel betrayed by who i thought were understanding employers. I saw shortly after my first weeks of employment how things were done. If you were not favored, you would have to do the unreasonable and other people's work. I hope that my experience is an example of what happens when the hiring staff and managers lose interest in you, or simply do not favor you. I was supposed to recieve a raise after my 90 days and when i asked about that, after 100 days i was told that the staff were too busy to remember. I knew then that i really didn't matter to them. i was just another employee who had not recieved a raise when promised one. I really felt like i was going to make a great career out of this work oppurtunity and was mistaken. I know of people that are still employed there, that know what really happened, and who is behind the false allegations and why. This experience left a very sour taste in my mouth. I've even changed my intentions on staying in the food industry, this experience was very uncomfortable and unpleasing. I just hope that the people who caused this, realize what they have done, and becuase of this my life has been very difficult. Eliseo Perez 10404 Crestfield Dr. Riverview, Fl 33569 (813)451-0337

I was just fired from bonefish Grill at 2283 S. Federal highway Stuart Florida 34994. A fellow employee requested off Friday October 29th. The kitchen manager (Juan), who is incredibly rude and verbally abusive to his staff; forgot to schedule the employ off. I was scheduled to float that night and to leave by 9 o'clock. At 9 when I am getting ready to clock out, I hear Juan tell Paxton to check my outs. I asked Juan if I am closing and he tells me yes. So I go to double check the schedule because I know that I am not scheduled to close. I see on the schedule that he has written in pen that I am to close fry, and Paxton the original person supposed to close fry was to close sauté. I went to Juan and simply explained that I base my plans around the schedule and that it is not right that you expect me to close with no notice. He told me that the schedule has been posted sence Tuesday the 26th and that it's not his problem. So I finish my shift very aggravated. The next day Allen armstrong the general manager calls me and tells me not to come in that my shifts have been covered and they are taking me off the schedule for the following week until I come and speak to him. He has been Blatantly ignoring my attempts to get ahold of him. I finally contacted him today Nov. 8th at 2:04pm and he told me that I was fired. His reason for the termination was that he didnt want someone to ask me to do something that I wasn't scheduled to do and I complain about it. I think that is a poor excuse to fire somebody. I have no problem with working more hours, i was upset for the way that I was approached by the kitchen manager. I dont think it's right for Juan to forget to schedule someone off that asked weeks in advance and the night of to tell me that I have to close because he forgot and that it is not his problem! That is very unprofessional.

We had the MOST wonderful experience in Secaucus, NJ 7094. First of all, we were on a bus tour of NY city--54 people --and had reservations--our meal was delicious and everyone accomodating. The day before leaving NJ, we took a bus from the City to the hotel and there were two of the nicest--twins--that talked to us before getting on the bus--MONY & MARCEL--who had jackets on that said Bonefish--so we talked to them about the restaurant and how happy we were and that we were going back that evening. They said they would look for us. What gentlemen! When we got there, we wanted to sit in the bar area as OSU was playing and inquired about Mony & Marcel who happened to not be serving in the bar but both of them stopped by to see how we were doing and if we needed anything-- the hostess was DEBBIE--and she was delightful--so energetic and even kissed us goodbye--THANKS FOR THE WONDERFUL EXPERIENCE!

We frequently visit BONEFISH GRILL, and We must say that of all the BONEFISH GRILL we've been. Saint Simons Island, GA is the Most Elegant, Most Pleasant Atmosphere The servers there are the most Knowledgeable of the menu and Wines. We were there for the PGA had dinner there from wed 10/6/10 thru sun 10/10/10 and was the best EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Everyone there works together, we had at maybe 5 different servers, they all help each other out. I had to ask which is is our server, on our first night there. Lindsy was the server and very knowledgeable of the menu/wine. My mother who is the hardest to please. She went on and on how clean the Restaurant is and it smells like Gardenia when you first walk in and when they were taking us to the Table it smelled like Jasmine. The restroom smelled like Lavender. WOW!!!! That was very nice. And on about the wood floor, so shiney and clean. No dust anywhere my mother said "there is no dust on the Baseboards??? everyone has dust on Baseboards???" That says it alot.. We are from ST Augustine. We have decided we will be There on Saint Simons island every other weekend. We have a hose on Island Retreat. We frequently visit. So BONEFISH GRILL keep up the good work. YOUR AWSOME!!!! The food is AWSOME!!!! Bang Bang Shrimp, Fish w/ Pumpkin Ravioli is to DIE for. Thank You for the wonderful Experience, And so clean it is.

I had the worst service I have ever had at a resturant at the Bonefish Grill in Omaha, and the manager couldn't have cared less.

I had at least 3-4 dinners at Bonefish Grill in Whitehall Lehigh Valley, PA. The Food service is excellent and very attentive. The appetizers are delicious and very eye appealing. Fish entrees are very good. I recommend your restaurant to my friends and new acquaintances. Oops! The cocktail menu is tasty too.

I was in your restaurant a while back and had a veal chop with Marsala sauce and loved it. I went back a couple days ago, didn't see it on the menu, so I asked for the manager as I have been a meat manager for 40 years and asked why they took it off the menu and the manager treated me like a child and embarrassed me in front of my fiancée. She even felt embarrassed for me, also. I would have at least thought, even if he thought I was wrong, he would have treated me with more respect, since I am in retail and even when the customer is wrong, the customer is always right! I live in Wichita, KS. We only have one Bonefish in my area. I lived in Florida all of my life until my husband was stationed at McConnell. I love the fact that you guys offer a special menu for people who have Celiac's disease (such as myself) and very few places do. I was very excited to discover one of your chains when we arrived. We visited for the first time yesterday. I've been to your location in Clearwater, FL many, many, many times. So, I expected the same at the location in Wichita or very similar. We were seated quickly but then it took 25 min.'s before we received salad. Mine was forgotten and it wasn't until I had to ask for my salad that I got it another 10 min.'s later. Then when it showed up it was the wrong kind. I was hungry so I told them it was fine but I would atleast like tomatoes. They said sorry again and got the tomatoes. 8 min.'s later our dinner came out. So, I decided soggy salad was better than cold dinner. But, I didn't have to worry after trying to cut into my chicken. I had to send it back because it was very close to uncutable. I got another round of sorrys and the server said she would have the manger come over. I was very impressed with Marcus Powers. He was very sorry and ended up voiding our bill because of our experence. I would have to say out of all the Bonefish grills I've been to... this was the worst! However, the manger has great people skills and I believe he just need a better staff behind the closed doors. I saw 3 or 4 other plates taken back to the kitchen. It takes a great manager to handel himself they way he did. I know saying sorry for other peoples mistakes isn't easy. I'm will to give Bonefish one more chance but ONLY because of my past with your chain and the manger Marcus Powers.

I thoroughly enjoy eating at Bonefish Grill but have deepening concerns about their signature dish of Chilean Seabass, which is an endangered species. I have never ordered it but worry that patronizing the restaurant at all may increase demand for unsustainable resources.

I eat at Bonefish Grills all over the country. My favorite is the one in Surfside (Myrtle Beach South) South Carolina. The staff is sharp and cordial as can be in this restaurant and management is friendly too! We travel to Myrtle Beach 3-4 times a year and we eat at this Bonefish every other day while there because the food is soooo good!

Goodmorning, On 8/19/2010 I was a part of a party of 7 that attended the Bonefish grill in Montgomery Al. None of our group had ever been to your restaurants before, though we will all be back again. The owner David Fettes was very helpful and welcoming when we called to make our reservation. We arrived about fifteen min. early, and were greeted with very helpful hostesses. We were introducted to manager Joe Hodges and he took us to our table and introducted us to our servers. He came by our table at least three times to be sure we were being taken care of and to offer any help we needed. We did not need any help because our servers Jamaai & Giani were doing an excellant job of tending to our every need. For a Thursday they were very crowded, but it seemed they had no one else to help but us. Everyone in our party was extremely satisfied and plan to come back again. It was the best eating out experience my wife and I every had. Greg Nobles Clanton Al.

Egg Harbor Township NJ - Simply the best run restaurant of any chain, period. The manager there is the most attentive, involved and detail oriented I have ever seen. I have been there many times, and he is always hospitable, checking in to make sure the food and service is excellent ( which it always is, and I make sure I tip 20% when I am there ).

We were a party of 10 celebrating out 55th wedding anniversary. We went to the Bonefish Grill in the Villages, Florida. Before being seated my son spent $40 at the bar. After being seated several of our party ordered more drinks, appetizers and salads before ordering our main courses. I ordered the Kobe steak which was served cold. I sent it back, and before it came back to me, a young lady who seemed to be assisting the waiter came over to me and told me that because I sent the steak back I would not get it cooked the way I requested it. I told her that was unsatisfactory. My steak then came back to me exactaly the way I had returned it. Yes, the same steak still cold. A man who said he was the owner came over and offered me a free desert. I had came there for a dinner, not a desert. The Villages is a big place, but word of people being mistreated gets around quickly. The proper way a well run, quality restaurant would have handled my complaint would be to give me a fresh steak properly cooked and served hot. Evidently Bonefish grill is not a quality restaurant. I am going to put this complaint in letter form and mail it to your corporate office and also to the Villages website where residents voice compaints about local businesses.

newport news store #750.... I don't have my reciept, to do the survey, didn't keep it, didn't get bread either. 06/24/10 17:16 server bar 1b. Who were the long hair guys with the flip-flops and bathing suits. In the kitchen area, (while I was waiting, 44 minutes for dinner). That was discusting. I don't want anything free. I just want you to see what we see, when we walk in. p.s. that bardender needs a bar with 3 stools for her 3 friends, because thats about all she can handle. (thier were 5 at the bar). Changed order "to go" and threw-it-out....

We were on vacation from Northern Ohio in Sunset Beach. We decided to go to the Bonefish Grill on Tues. June 8 (our anniversary!) I also had a need to have Gluten-Free food. The selections on the menu were many and the service was exquisite (THANK YOU, MONIKA!) We hope to go back sometime!
