Bonefish in Columbia SC Harbison area needs to find new managment....Unfortunately the young man they have now can be rude and condescending, UGH! it used to be a fun place to go but now I feel I am throwing my money away....the staff is great and how that happens I do not know considering the fact that the managment is NOT GREAT! I hope BF will read these entries and hopefully take them to heart....please we love the grille for it's convenience and atmosphere but the management is simply too immature to handle any situations......

This rating is for the Bonefish Grill in Hoover, Alabama. Had reservations made as a surprise dinner date for my wife in celebration of our 31 anniversary. Went to the hostess desk where she quickly found our name and reservation time. The restaurant was full and did have people waiting for seating but this is the point of reservations is it not---to not have to wait? Twenty minutes after arriving and being told our table would be ready in "just a minute" we had to ask for the second time when we could expect to be seated. If you are not going to honor reservations, please quit saying you take and honor them. Or, if reservations just shorten waiting times from 45 minutes to 30 minutes or less, please inform your customers of that and we can make the decision to either visit your restaurant or go elsewhere. Very dissapointed.

I am surprised at all the low ratings. I don't go out to dinner often, but when we do, BF is the preferred choice. I have dined at at least 6 different BF and don't ever recall a bad experience in MS or FL. The staff seem to go out of their way to be attentive. The food always gets a 5 star, prices are the most reasonable for any fine dining. The b'day bangbang coupons are a great bonus. Keep up the great work.

I am shocked that Bonefish Grill in Metairie,La.would have such terrible service. The hostess was tolerable but,in my 23 years in the hospitality industry I have never experienced as bad a server as Ashley.First of all she didn't tell us her name, didn't know the menu and worst off it looked as if she was on a cellular phone. My parents were here in town and I thought they would love this new seafood restaurant. To my dismay the best thing about the entire place was the food.I wouldn't recommend anyone who appreciates good service dine here.

Kirk Tyree Managing Partner Bonefish Grill,Venice FL On the 3rd of May we visited your restaurant for the first time since your opening.I asked the attendant at the desk if you had any comment cards and she gave me your business card so I am responding via E-mail. I will begin by complementing you on the fine food that Bonefish always serves, Knowing that your restaurant is new to the area and has issues to work out I would like to comment on my observations. The drink order took too long, the appetizers and the entree were served at the same time, the side order was incorrect and a second drink order came too late,so we sent it back and asked for the check and left.We are used to the service at the Sarasota Bonefish so we were disappointed with our experience. This is meant as constructive criticism Respectfully Kevin Moynihan Nokomis,Fl 518 260 7638 kjmoynihansfla@gmail.com This e mail was sent to the manager and I never received a acknowledgement which I find very unprofessional. I was not looking for a free dinner just a recognition of my concerns for your success of your Venie ,FL. operation PS I rated the experiance as Poor But I rate the Food As #5 Best KJM

I was surprise that bonefish grill would hire a manager that would haress the customers at the opening of a new restrauant in the canton area. Not only did I receive a rare hamburger but was haress when I. Try to send this back. I never receive the salad that I order and was told that my clearly rare burger was cooked medium.. My reaction was stunned by the behavior of the manager on duty, I will never go back to the Bonefish Grill. This was a very unpleasant experience. This corporation needs some directions on how to hire qualifed personnel.

Food posioning was the reception I received from Bone Fish in Kingstowne Townes Center last Thursday evening. I had the mussels and bang-bang shrimp. I didn't finish it all because I began to feel very full from the little I consumed. I went home and had a miserable +3 days following. I called the manager today to tell him what happened and he was not at all sympathetic. If it ain't fresh it ain't Legal! I will never go to another Bonefish ever! Following up with a letter to corporate. MW

Murfreesboro, TN---My experience was not so plesant! Waiters were RUDE! When one gave the wrong drink to me and I said it was not mine and told her who ordered the drink, her reply was "What ever!" Our service at the table was slow and we had to wait for 25 minutes just to get bread. When we paid with a credit card, the card was broken in two when it came back. The waiter did not even tell us! When we asked her what happened, she said "Our machine is hard on the cards!" We asked to speak to a manager and he said he could give us TAPE and tape it back together! No apoligies or an offer for free drink or dessert! All in all the food was good but all the trouble with rude and uncaring help put a big damper on our night out!

The reception we recieve at the Harbison Bonefish in Columbia SC is not good.... We are regulars for friday nights, try to be... we feel there are many resteraunts to frequent, however, this is close to our home and the food is usually just perfect at all times. My only complaint here is the people that run the place. Months ago, we had a fab gen manager, really excited to see us when we came in on a friday night, always came around and thanked us for our patronage which really made us feel great and wanted. He now works at the Forest acres Columbia SC bonefish and is hasn't been the same since he left. We bring big crowds of people wiht us every weekend and sit at the center bar tables and i assume, the staff just doesnt like it. they treat us like we arent' there to spend our money. and if you could see my visa bill, you wouldnt believe the charges that are on it from the Bonefish Grill in Cola SC Harbison. We gladly give over 20 percent to our servers, however, there are a few that run the bar area that are very caddy and really seem to think we dont exist. for ex. we are always the last to be waited on, and they dont offer us bread, like they used to.. (maybe they are cutting back) however, we usually get there around 5:30 and try to take advantage of the happy hour... they frown on us when we order the house cab :(... it is almost embarrasing how they think less of us b/c we enjoy the wine, and we will sometimes order two or three glasses of wine and stay and eat our dinner around 7:00.. we like to draw the evening out. It has gotten to the point that my husband and all of our friends, which i mind you are all over 40 and not rowdy.. are going to find another place to go. We really dont feel welcome there, and its sad, cause it is literally five min from my house, where i can be in close proximity to my children at home. I did have the occasion last wed to go and I didn't eat, but treated my mother and father and kids to dinner and i had a glass of wine... paid my bill and left a nice tip... well, got home that evening, and realized i had left my credit card.. i wasnt to worried, however, I called and asked if they had found it and they said they would have a manager call me back. I had to call a total of five more times, Wed night, thursday night three times, with the hostess getting agitated and finally Friday (today) someone answered and looked in the safe and it was there. My gripe is, when I called three times on Thursday, they kept telling me they were really busy and once the manager got a chance, they would phone me back and let me know. After the third call on thursday night, the hostess was getting agitated with me...(this waas over a five hour period) and all I was asking was to see if my credit card had been found and if they could at least let me know so I didn't have to go and cancel the card. I had to continue to call and call and finally today,Friday at noon, I did get someone, but it is very frustrating to know that a business would not find a customer calling again and again, (over two days, ) that is wouldnt be important to get back with them. Some one needs to revamp there system there.. if you dont want people to have happy hour wine, dont offer it.... we come, we pay, we eat a lot of food.. and I would think in this economy that we were doing our part to keep it going... we could stay hoome and drink wine.. but we choose to go with friends and we enjoy seeing locals there. I just wish the staff could be as good as the food it.. no complaints there... have to say, one of our favorite places to eat and we have been a lot of places in Columbia, however, it is probably going to have to be one of the last places we go anymore, due to the poor reception from the staff... can we please get our GENERAL MANAGER that actually worked this location back??? He is at the forest acres and he is missed!!!!!

My husband and I and another couple went to the Madison Road location in Cincinnati Ohio last night (2/27/12). We had a 6:00 PM reservation. When we arrived we were told that our table would be ready for us in a few minutes. We said fine but did inform the hostess that we were on a time schedule since we had show tickets. About 10 minutes later we were informed that our table would be ready in a few minutes. They were just waiting for the people at the table to get their change. We then waited another 5 minutes or so it was now about 6:25. The hostess then informed us that the people at the table were ordering dessert. We then informed the hostess that we were going to need to leave since we needed to eat and get to the show at 8:00. The hostess said she was sorry and then just went on with her buisness. We were very disatisfied by how we were treated. We had made a reservation since we new we were on a time schedule and then had to quickly decide where else we could go instead since we still needed to get to our show. We will not be thinking about going back to the Bonefish Grill due to the way we were treated. I hope that youwill inform the manager of this resturant about this problem. The staff needs to work harder to be sure that they have a table for customers who make reservations.

We go to our bonefish on Harbison blvd every Friday. Always sit at middle tables in bar area.... Always bring friends. Sometimes there will only b 4 but most times we have 6-12 people... It for all of us has had a "cheers" bar atmosphere.. I several months ago took an empty bar stool from the bar itself for a friend who joined us late ... We were celebrating a birthday... The bartenderess came over and asked me if I took the bar stool.. I said yes Emily I did she asked me to put it back at the bar. I was a little embarrassed as she spoke in front of everyone and the stool remained unoccupied for at least 1/2 hr as we were there early on... Since then if we get there after 6 my daughter and I will go ahead and order to glasses of wine under happy hour ... They are very obvious in demonstrating their dislike for this... Last week I ordered a martini and asked my waitress if she would bring me another before happy hour ended. She bought it out well before I had finished my other one... So I asked if she would mind putting it the refrigerator for a few minutes..she was very pleasant but when she bought it back she had been told by Emily or the other bartender there that nite that she couldn't do it again... I am to the point that I along with the other regulars on Friday Are looking to go down the way to copper river or another one of our local places here... We r going tonight but if we get the same reception we have gotten lately , it will be the last time. We all spend a lot of money there on Fri and my husband and I have for the past 5 yrs celebrated every occasion there with sometimes as many as 20 people! But I am growing tired of feeling like a second class citizen by female bartenders .......

We are frequent guest of Bone Fish Grill in Madison, Mississippi. I love the restaurant however the service of some service of some servers and management is very poor. We visitied this location on the 27th of January we had a 6:15pm reservation. We were seated in about 20 minutes because they were running a little behind which was fine, We have waited as long as 1 one hour before that was fine because we love the restaurant. On this particular night we asked not to have the first table for two in the front. Guess what that was the table given to us. Secondly, the server was not very attentive. My first questiont to him was if they had Rockafeller topping this evening. He responded he would check on it. He then came back and said they had ran out. I then asked if they could fake us some rockafeller, they had done this for us before at at location in Collierville, TN. He then said he would ask the manager. He then went to the General Manager JT and he came back to the table and said they would be able to take spinach, butter and crabmeat and saute it. We said ok. He took about 10 minutes to bring us drinks. We gave him our order at the time of the drink order, because we knew what we wanted. The appetizer's came out very hot and very tasty. It took about 30 minutes for our meal to come. We both order the same. Her steak was rare and mine was luke warm. We had this experience before and never expressed our experience because we both are managers in the hospitality industry, and wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I expressed this to the serve and he went and talked to JT the manager. The server than had the steak cooked a bit more, the server brought the meal back to the table and JT the manager accompanied him and stood there and waited not only until I cut into the steak but also until I took a bite. As, if we were trying to run out on the bill. I then told him it was fine. After, a few moments we asked for To Go Container's to take the meal home to reheat. When the manager came to the table we expressed our concerns that maybe the server left the food in the window took long and that's why it was warm. The manager replied no server brings out their own food, because that apart of team building. I replied well I guess I can't fault the server then. As a manager he was doing more of making up excuses as oppose to ensuring us that he would resolve the issue. To ensure this doesn't happen to another customer. The server then brought the bill of 89 dollars plus which that was fine, this is what we always pay. We also still left him a tip of 10.00. Even if the service is poor we know this is how they make a living. If you are concerned regarding our very poor experience, I would expect a return call. Very Disappointed Guest

To Whom It May Concern: I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to the Iselin NJ Bonefish Grill managers John Caforio and E.Jay Myers for going above the call of duty. These two young gentlemen out of the goodness of their hearts supplied dinner for the recently deceased soldier Marine Corporal Kevin James Reinhard's family for his repass. They heard about the Woodbridge soldier who was killed in Afganistan in a helicopter accident and jumped to the aid of our family. They served us steak, salad, hamburgers, mussels, and fish. It was tremendous and exceptional. The attention to detail by the managers and their staff made the display inviting and wonderful. Everyone totally enjoyed the food and went for seconds and thirds. It was fabulous. Thank you for your support. We greatly appreciated it. Sincerely in peace, The Family of Corporal Kevin James Reinhard

Venice, Florida February 2, 2012 .FANTASTIC!!!!! Excellent fish, great wait staff. Interesting menu, nice specials. THANK YOU FOR MAKING VENICE YOUR NEW HOME!!!

the most ignorant comment made to me in a long time - hubby & I go to new Bonefish grill in Short Pump. There's a revolving door and a regular entry door next to it w/ a handicapped sign on it. Hubby tries to open this and it's locked. We go thru revolving door and when I get to the hostess desk which is right next to the handicap accessible door I ask "did you know this door is locked?" "yeess maaam, we try to encourage our customers to use the other door." "well, isn't it a handicap accessible door?" "yeess, but we watch for anyone who is handicapped and open it for them" !!!!! after looking at her for a few seconds in disbelief I replied "well, my husband is handicapped" he hadn't quite cleared the huge revolving door at that point. "oh, I'm sorry we didn't notice" ?????? "ya know not all disabilities are visibly noticeable!" "oh, I guess you're right. I'm sorry" this was proceeded by the 2nd most ignorant comment - I called them to see if they did "something like call ahead seating" "excuse me?" "do you have call ahead seating?" "oh no mam, we don't have that here at this time" Oh ok, thank you so much" "but we do take reservations"! Wake up hostess staff - you are the first impression of your employer!

My wife, grandson and I just left the Bonefish Grill at 3333 Virginia Beach Blvd., Virginia Beach VA. Our previous visit to this establishment was excellent, however, this time left much to be desired. We were so cold that it was impossible to enjoy our meal, even had it been exemplary (which it was not). The wait staff was friendly and competent but that's about the only thing about this visit that was pleasant. We were seated in a draft that was so cold it was impossible to enjoy a meal. The meal itself was mediocre at best. The entre was served within 2 minutes of receiving our appetizers. The sea food was bland and tasteless and the wine tasted like it came from a screw-top bottle. One expects more a meal costing in excess of $100.00. This was our last visit.

Paramus new jersey bonefish grill the serve is poor and the manager Dennis is very rude when under presure betrozan23@yahoo.com I went into the resturant in a good frame of mind and left upset

Went to Bonefish in PCB Fl. Last night with some friends We went t o have dinner and purchase the $100.00 gift cards that BF has been Advertising for a while. The hostess told us it was cancelled. However and I pointed out to her their sign was still iup and the alarm that she just gave for the 30-40 minute wait had the coupon special written on it. She did not care. After waiting about 30-40 minutes to be seated. The service was very slow. My meal was brought out 10 minutes after everyone else. This same similar situation happed last week, Just thought you need to know and fix the pro lem Doris Hutchinson 8815 Thomas Dr #601 Panama City Bch, FL

Horrible experience at the Dayton Ohio Mall resturant. Attitude from the greeting staff. When we requested a table instead of a booth. I ordered the special and it came not done not once but twice... Ended up ordering an appetizer after everyone had finished the meal Manangement came once to ask about things and never came back Will not be returning anytime soon.

I have just left the Bonefish grill, Ormond Beach, Fl . I have never been so disappointed in the food, service and the manager. I had taken my husband fom Orlando to the Dayton location for his birthday. We set in the bar due to even at 7:30 the place was full, no problem we love the place where ever we sit. Our server was texting under the bar, we never got offered menus , again no problem. We eat at the Bonefish in Orlando, we know what we want. Our salads came out, so unfinished, no toppings at all, we had to ask for them, example is hearts if palm. My husbznds potk pirk was so, so. The server didn't notice, he was busy texting again! My Sea Bass- very fishy, sent it back, and his dirty looks for that. The new Sea Bass came out and the manager watched me take the first bite, I thought it taste great. By the third bite I had my husband try it, he agreed, horribly fishy once again. If looks could kill I'd be dead. Right after we sent it back , I looked at the counter/ bar in front of me, like what's that? It was a huge ROACH!!! I screamed, like I've never screamed before !!!!!!!!!! My husband spilt his drink all over him, it tans to the guest next to him at the bar, they flicked it behind the bar. My husband was never comped for his spilt drink and we were asked by the manager, " what type if roach was it?" We get those in here all the time, and I'll call the pest company. They should have comp the meal and the split drink. I paid for my husband birthday dinner, we walked to the car and we both felt sick. I scared him so bad when I screamed, we both felt ill, it just really upset us. I feel this should be looked into and I want my money reimbursed! I need to give my husband a birthday dinner to make up for this birthday from hell. Please respond to my e-mail . Thank you! Lucette Lucci Cell 321-624-5316 1507 Orlando , Fl , 32806
