6 Weeks later and still no refund check

Two months ago we purchased a couch from the Attleboro, Massachusetts Bobs Discount store. Salesman was very nice and not pushy and told us the couch we were looking at was a wonderful couch. We settled on it after a few weeks of debating on it and were thrilled...until we got it in our home and only 8 hours later it had a huge worn faded spot on the cushion from where my husband took a nap. We went through their entire protocol of having one of their tech guys come look at it and agreed it was cheap material. After reading many bad costumer reviews we decided to just return it. They told us that they would give us our money back (not store credit) and that it should be mailed out within 7-10 business days starting on the day the came and took the couch out of our house. Well, they took the couch 6 weeks ago and we have yet to see our money returned to us. We have had made numerous phone calls and they always have a reason as to why we haven't seen our money yet but honestly it sounds like a bunch of lies and excuses at this point. Don't go to Bobs Discount Furniture! Everyone in that company has a different answer and it just seems to be filled with a bunch of lies more than honesty. We couldn't be more frustrated with this experience.

I thought I was making a good choice by buying from Bob's. Boy was I wrong. My husband and I purchased a sofa, loveseat and ottoman in leather. The salesman told us of the Goof Proof plan and since we have children, we thought it was a good idea. The furniture was delivered the day before Thanksgiving. Because of the holiday, I was unable to give it a thorough going over. 3 days later I noticed 2 tears in the ottoman. I called customer service and was told the ottoman would be replaced. I then questioned the fact that my Goof Proof plan was never added to my invoice. She told me she was sorry but since the furniture had been delivered there was nothing that could be done. I called the store and spoke with the salesman who sold us the set and he apologized for not including it and would check with his supervisor and call me back in 20 min. After 2 hrs. I called again, he was with a customer and was told he'd get back to me. The gentleman I spoke with checked and told me SORRY nothing can be done since it was already delivered. Even though their salesperson made a mistake and it was 3 days later they wouldn't "satisfy" a customer and issue the protection plan. After reading all the reviews, maybe I'm glad I didn't purchase the plan. I guess it's a given that I would be buying from Bob's again.

I was looking for 0 stars. This is the worst experience I had with a furniture store ever. I had a delivery of my bed room set and the chest was totally out of shape a couple of draws in my night stard fell apart. I called them , They sent a layman(What they call a furniture expert). No resolution, the solution was to order a new piece. Ridiculous, new piece came in after a week. now 4 draws out of 5 are messed up. Called the cust service. They sent the layman after a week and now he says we need to order parts and it will take us a couple of months before it gets fixed. This is ridiculous. I would never go to BOBs again, I would like to return the whole furniture. The money is gone, the pleasant experience is not there and now I have a broken furniture at my home eating up all the space. I will now tell my friends that were impressed my furniture at first look to not to go there. Bobs just lost about 30 - 40 thousand worth of orders from my friends that bought 4 new homes. What a shame................

The experience that we have got at the warwick ri store was great. As soon as we got our bob o pedic it stared to shift, tear, and the boards under the bed broke. we called 3 times. The tech that came to out home was arragant, rude, and couldnt even speak english. he told the rep. that we washed the bob o pedic thats why its teared, so they then told us it cant be replaced or fixed. And not Only did he give us attude but he ddi not have a phone and had to use ours. it was rediculious!!!!!!

Just the worst experiance ever. Next time I will pay the extra and deal with Reymore and Flannigan

Very poor service and attitude

never ever purchase furniture at Bobs I bought a very nice looking leather sofa and loveseat. the seat cushions tore through on every single cushion! Every single cushion! I called and they told me to call the guardsman warranty people who had me send them pictures and fill out paperwork and then they refused to help because I did not call within a month of the tear happening. I explained that it happened gradually it was not a tear t just wore through and they denied me. That was the first cushion then it happened to every other cushion and they said there is nothing they could do. Scam and should take legal action but that would cost more than the couches were worth. Dont be fooled by the deal, like all things if it seems too good to be true.....

Customer services is so bad!

i will never ever buy anything else from bobs there warrenties they offer is a bunch of bull they will never honor them

DO NOT PURCHASE THE WARRANTY FROM GUARDSMAN! They will not honor anything they say. It a scam! I have never felt so robbed! I purchase the warranty and the damages that I report the day it happen, along with the paperwork they required and they will not fix the damage. GUARDSMAN IS A HORRIBLE COMPANY!

Bob's claims to be gimmick free, "no gimmicks", but there deliver charge is ridiculous..$170 to deliver a couch from the factory, that price should be advertised in the price, the fact that it is not is a gimmick. You go into bobs thinking you are buying a piece of furniture for a certain price, but at the end of the sale, they charge you almost $200 more for the furniture, and of course you have to pay for it, otherwise you can not get it, nobody in NY is driving to connecticut or NJ to get it, If bob's was upfront about there costs, I would have bought a couch from them, but they advertise a price that is false, DO NOT SHOP AT BOBS

Do not purchase the "goof proof" warranty from Bob's! They do not stand by their claims. I can't believe how dishonest they are. I will never purchase another item from them nor will I recommend Bob's to anyone. I am going to report this to the Bureau of Consumers Affairs.

DO NOT BUY FROM BOB'S. They do not stand by there 1 year manufacturing warranty and the goof proof warranty is simply a scam because they don't cover anything apparently.

i would never buy from bob's discount again. what a joke goof proof is and a waste of money. the tech tells you to call goof proof and lie what happened and they had already denied it. then u call them back numerous times and the tech that was here originally told me he could do something so i set up an appt for tomorrow and call today to check and they have no record or it.....4 yr old leather set and it is peeling everywhere. don't buy from them wasting your money. i had a leather set from Jordans Furniture that lasted 15 years and never peeled....i will tell everyone i know not to buy from them. no customer service to satisfy the customer at all.

I have been waiting for over a month for a $800 refund on a bedroom set that was discontinued. They insist on telling me that the check was returned however, I get all my mail at my home address and it seems like everyone is having the same issue so obviously it's Bob's. The won't let me pick it up from the store which is crazy cause that's who I paid. I will never shop with Bob's again.

Purchased a bedroom set but found something better elsewhere so I canceled my order. I have been waiting forever for my refund. I call customer no service and they tell me a different story every time. I will NEVER go to BOB's again. Do not do it to yourself, go somewhere else.

I ordered a Bob O Pedic 8 for a guest bedroom. The first delivery day I waited for four hours before calling the store only to be told that the mattress was not on the truck. When the mattress was delivered, it was about three inches larger than the boxspring. I called customer service and they told me they would send a new one the next day and that I would be the first delivery. It finally came at 4:30 and it was the same. Customer service was no help at all. I told them to come and get the mattress and refund my money. I will NEVER buy from them again.

NEVER GO T BO BOB'S THEY ARE A RIPOFF.I BOUGHT A RECLINER AND WITH IN ONE MONTH IT LOOKED LIKE I HAD IT FOR YEARS AND THE STRUCTURE IT SELF WAS BROKE I CALLED AND A REPAIR CAME OVER AND STATED IT WAS OK NOTHING WRONG JUST PLAIN AWFULLY I THREW HIM OUT OF THE HOUSE I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE (THEY NEED TO TAKE LESSONS IN HOW TO TALK TO PEOPLE).I FINALLY SPOKE TO A SUPERVISOR AND THEY STATED A CHECK WOULD BE CUT ON TUESDAY SEPT 4 AND MAILED RIGHT AWAY SINCE THE HEADQUARTER ARE IN CT AND I AM IN CT THE CHECK WOULD ARRIVE BUY NOW GUESS WHAT NOTHING YET. I CALLED HEADQUARTER AND SOME WOMEN ANSWERED AND BEFORE I COULD EXPLAIN EVERYTHING SHE SAID NO I GAVE HER HELL AND SHE PUT ME ON THE PHONE TO BOB NO ANSWER I LEFT A MESSAGE TO CALL OTHER WISE BBB AND CHANNEL 8 NEWS. STAY AWAY FROM THEM THEY ARE AWFUL THE MERCHANDISE IS TERRIBLE.

Was about to go to Bobs for theLabor Day Sale ,but read the reviews .I will not go there.Keep writing.Please bring back Seamans.
