Shopkick program

I shop at the Winter Garden Villages and I also do the shopkick program to earn points. I have never had any problems with any of the other merchants, only and only Best Buy Store # 1156 !! It has been 12 weeks now and I have gotten every excuse as to why their transformer does not work. They boldly do not want the customers walking into this "snobby" store!! Their customer service is the worst I have ever seen. I have been a retail manager and supervisor and would fire everyone in the store if they treated a customer as these people do. If you aren't wearing your Gucci and gold, they won't talk to you. The shopkick program brings in customers to your store, ie, impulse sales. The first couple weeks I did the program, I bought ink, paper, wii games, and a phone. Now they have unplugged their transponder and refuse to get with the program. I have made it known to everyone in The Windermere and Winter Garden areas, that this location is the worst of the worst !!!!

I am deeply concerned about a letter I received from CITI Financial about this promotion. I understand it is a scam that has been active about 2 years. My concern is your company name is attached. Are you trying to stop this legally or are you just ignoring it? I am sure many people have gotten hurt by this scam and your name is attach. Please tell me what you are doing to stop this terrible scam.

No stars at all!!!!

I paid 1500 dollars for a computer not from the store. But, I took it there to be fixed. They took it and said they'd do just that, fix it. A week later, they said it was ready. When picking it up, we were told it wasn't fixed. They had sent it away and came back the same, except it was scratched up. I am so disappointed and angry. So, in essence, we're paying 44 dollars for them to scratch it. They said they can't fix custom computers. I didn't customize it any more than anyone else does. So now I have a broken computer they say 'might' be the motherboard. Or it might be the switch (on and off). It still sits in their store. I absolutely hate Best Buy and will NEVER shop there again, nor will I advise anyone to take their computer there to be fixed!!!!

These guys are idiots

They cancellled my virus protection the dayI picked up my computer from being repaired. They kept me on hold so long that my phone went dead. Their hours are so limited that it is hard to reach them in the first place-Get rid of the foreigner tech support. They are impossible to understand and so you end up having to call several times to get things right.

Cannot get daughter's computer shipped out to be repaired because there are NOT ENOUGH SHIPPING BOXES to do so. I have many words to say about this but they are not polite. What are you doing in corporate headquarters that you cannot budget boxes to ship out repairs???? Hello??? Is there anyone there with any semblance of intelligence? This is insane! Was forced to put a rating star to submit….. negative stars are not an option. I pity the Geek Squad employees that have to pay the price for your inept decisions!!

I had a price match for a movie that wal mart had on sale the store was out of the movie so I ordered the movie I called post oreder support they said I can no get the price match the store told me to call them they said price matchs can not be done for things orederd on line so its going back

Customer service sucks

Bought a cell phone a month ago and went through 4 phones plus a refurbished one and and they won't work with me and said I have to go through geek squad for another refurbished. Very disappointed in there service.

In the past 6 months I have purchased a TV, computer and yesterday a washer and dryer. A recorded message was received at 10:45 Pm last night awakening the entire household. Do you people have a brain?? Calling a customer at tha hour is beyond incompetence.

I bought a kindle cover for my mother the end of Jan 2013 but didn't give it to her till mothers day. Well she didn't need it since she purchased one from best buy in FL already. I called customer care, even though I asked for corporate number, thats what they gave me and they said its been over 15 days nothing they can do. the item is still being sold in store and nothing is wrong with the one i gave my mom. So i just think it is completely ridiculous that I can buy 2 mac books, 2 tvs, 2kindles, surround sound, entertainment center, an IPAD, an IPOD, an ITV, ALL our kitchen appliances and washer/dryer, a keyboard, and multiple giftcards.... and they don,t have the courtesy to return an item that cost less then $30!!! not even exchange or store credit, they told me to re-gift! guess I wont be putting the finishing touches on our remodeled kitchen with new best buy appliances...

Merchandise & geek squad

Recently I purchased a new Yamaha 720 receiver from best Buy at 95th & Quivera in Overland Park, KS I had problems setting it up and called the Geek Squad and my receiver still isn't working properly. I think this was a refurbished receiver and the remote is apparently used! I have not gotten any response at all from the store! I am very unhappy !

Finally the correct answer

Bought a phone with Geek Squad protection from Framingham MA store and it died in less than a year the Store totally screwed up and end up giving me a new phone and I continued to pay geek squad. BUT when the new phone died this week I found out that I was still paying on the old phone protection plan and my current phone had no plan. Store won't admit mistake. Finally corp. refunded all my Geek Squad payments and $100 gift card. I did have to go to a supervisor but it did finally get worked out. Caesar at Corp was great.

Refused Service

Bought a screen saver, it was defective. Went back to the store within the 30 days with the receipt and the employee would not replace the screen saver. Made a complaint online with NO reply!

My mother is in a retirement home. She bought a TV and Hanger at Best Buy, Matthews, NC. She wanted to exchange the hanger that fits flush on the wall to one that swivels. They said they could not do that because it had been more than 15 days. This does not seem to be a good policy when she would be spending more for the swivel hanger.

I came into the Best Buy at Hawthorne to fulfill the Black Tie warranty on my Wii. The plan just so happens to expire on the same day that I brought it in. Since I didn't have an appointment the representative told me that I have to buy a new protection an for another year in order to get it serviced. Why would I do that? If the an expires today then I should have until the end of today to get my device serviced. Very bad policies and customer service.

As I have read the above statements I see that yes some fo the locations need to work on the customer service skills but as well I do feel some that some customers need to see that are not always the best as well they can be rude when you can ot do somthing they want they will be qucik to question why they cant have somthing shipped to them with it states no shipping or why the item in on the site and they can not buy it well the site is not just in there location so I do see that the reps at Best Buy do what they can do now that is not all of them but the ones the go above and what need be not one customer review on them at all

unhappy after 5 years

Best Buy has served me well for 5 years until yesterday. I returned 2 items that I had purchased online. There had never been a problem before. However, I was informed that they would not take the items back as, in the few weeks since the beginning of March during which time I had not been in the store, they had shortened their return policy from 30 days to 15 days. After a time, the manager did approve a store credit, but I am now paying the items on my credit card while being locked into using the funds at Best Buy. This is not customer service. What a disappointment! Unfortunately for Best Buy, there are many other choices that clients have for electronics and I think I will turn to those from now on.

worst ever

I purchased a computer from an online sales rep and after over 13 hours on the phone with them I finally got the computer to be sent to me today the heat sink on the processor fell off while just sitting on my desk!!!!I once again had to call in to Best buy to see what they can do because the equipment was manufactured faulty and was tod,"well your past your 15 day window to get the computer replaced by us, guess you have to call the manufacturer"
