while in the las vegas store 11/22/13 at around 3pm in the fishing dept my son and I were hit on the head with water from there leaking roof. When I asked for the manger and told him what happened he said oh my Im sorry about that its our maintenance manger that lacking, when i asked where did you get him from he said oh he over from camping. What a bunch of fools. I will never shop at any bass pro shops again......

Since Bass Pro has decided to make the employees work on THANKSGIVING, I will spend MY money with a company that will put its employees before profits. Signed Compassionate Capitalist

Poor return Policy

Ordered a game cart, BP shipped me a hunting vest- charged me 18.00 $ due to weight of cart, but I did not get a cart, I got a 2 pound vest, I did not order. Contacted the On line store. The employee tells me I need to send back the vest, upon receipt they will send me the cart. Shipping turn around on all of this will be another 25 to 30 days. I request to the employee- it is your mistake you send me the cart I ordered now and I will send you back your hunting vest. Answer can't do that. My response - you just lost me as a customer Mr Morris. Sportsman Warehouse, Amazon and Cabelos now has my business. And since I spent likely 10K or more in BP stores over the last 15 years, I hope it was worth it. I also canceled my membership.

A Place Where Sexual Harrasment Is Not Taken Seriously

Work for the Store in Manteca, California if you like being sexually harrased. human resources takes their sweet time to do anything worth of an "investigation" not to mention while they are doing it you are getting retaliated on by the person you stood up for yourself against and said no to and being slandered and deffamated on until they finally come to a conclusion and fix the issue. Columbia and bass pro shops

Columbia does not want to answer my emails concerning how they have determined that their clothing is quick dry. They are failing to provide me with this what I thought would be simple info, which they would be eager to share about their products, but yet they do not send me anything in writing and they are failing to answer my emails.

Bad business ethics

I wanted to buy a savage rifle off the clearance rack for a project. The bolt face was pitted around the firing pin hole so it had obviously been shot. Gun was 499$ I offered 399$ and the manager would not do it. He told me that they paid 525 which is retail price and cold go lower or they were losing money. I don't believe that . So either someone at bass pro has shot the gun or savage sent you a used gun with possibly a new barrel. Either way its bad business. I wish this has went differently because the bass pro in portage is the closest place for me to buy hunting and fishing gear and I will not be buying anything anymore from bass pro. Did not honor warranty

A few months back I saved up enough money to go to bass pro in destin( I live in Panama City) I bought a new bass pro shops fishing pole.... When checking out the cashier asked if I would like to purchase the 2 year warranty and I agreed. Now 2 months later the reel is stuck in anti-reverse so I can't use it..... I called bass pro and they said even though I don't have a receipt they would exchange it since its a bps pole, so the next day I go up there and they wouldn't exchange it..... I took it to the fishing dept. and they wouldn't even give me any advice, I feel like I was only taken advantage of because of how young I am....

pood quality control

I purchased a Anglers shirt on the internet. When the shirt arrived I was surprised at the poor quality of the sewing. The button holes were not sews. I called customer to see what could be done about it and the lady said" thanks for letting us know, I'll pass it on." I was in shock. Nothing was offered as to rectify the problem. I am a seamstress and was able to fix the button holes, but I am surprised at the lack of interest shown by the customer service agent.. She was not the least bit interested. I will think twice about ever dealing with Bass Pro shops.

Bad experience

I'm really disappointed with bass pro poor customer service ,also no lay a way on firearms I will take my business to cabelas from now on!!

donations

I recently asked my local Bass store in Rancho Cucamonga to allow my daughters soccer team to sell raffle tickets in front of their store. My daughters team had just won their state division and was trying to earn money to pay for their trip to regionals. I was told no even though they allow the girl scouts, salvation army and other non-profits to solicit donations in front of their store. I was told they don't sell soccer equipment so they won't let us and suggested we try a fast food place or grocery store. News flash they don't sell soccer equipment either. I view this as discrimination. You let all or none bottom line.

Worst Customer Service Ever/ No star rating

I can remember as a child waiting for the new seasons catalog to come to my home. I couldn't wait to see all the new products. This was kinda a family tradition that my father introduced me to. We would visit these locations back east and mid west, since they did not have any out west until recently. I been a valid consumer of bass pro for many years. I recently was in the market for a boat and had 2 boats sold out from under me. I was reassured that this issue would taken care of. Nothing as of yet but a I'm sorry and here is a way more expensive boat than the one you were going to buy. I do not recommend shopping at bass pro and will take my business else where. When I ask to speak to Johnny Morris. He's not available. Too bad he lost a family of customer's. Worse company ever I now just consider bass pro even with Walmart with a big fish tank. At least Walmart has fair prices. Plus they take there complaints valid.

lights in Bass Pro Shop located in Kodak, Tenn.

I have been to many BPS in my life but the one in Kodak, Tenn has to be the worst lighting in them all. The lighting is so bad I just don't shop this location. I have to hard a time seeing the items in this store because it is so dark. I have mention it to the employee of the this store and they all agree. They tell me a lot of their customers make the same complaint but no one seems to do anything about it. I know it the lighting in this location was better I would buy more because I could see better.

Restaurants

Not really a review, just a request. PLEASE consider a restaurant in the Manteca, CA Bass Pro Shop. We lack good restaurants and from our travels we know that your restaurants are fantastic. PLEASE consider putting one in here. Thank You

GearGuard is a terrible Vendor

Bought a protectiojn plan for my new fishing rod. Gearguard website wont allow me to enter the number. I called per the BassPro site which says, 7 days a week, 24/7 service only to get a Monday-Friday 8-7 recording. I call on Monday at 9:00 only to get the same recording. The system puts me in a loop press 1 for in the US, press 1 if purchased within 30 days, then it repeats itself. Never again. I love BassPro but you must screen your vendors more carefully. Back to the store for a refund after wasting 3 hours.

Shame on you!

Handgun ammo has been hard to get. Bass Pro in Auburn Hills, MI held four boxes for me as requested but when I went to pick them up they said sorry, only one to a customer. (even though they did hold 4) New policy! Here's my new policy, no more Bass Pro, Sorry.

I have been in many of your stores,and have spent thousands of dollars over the years,gave you free advertisements through graphics,on my boats,campers,trucks,from t-shirts to hats..but I am done no more,I am fed up with being solicited to by into time shares,or spending time @big cedar lodge,3 f---en times last nite i was asked to listen to this crap,or register for something..I along w/many other people want to shop,and be left alone..I will take my business to cabelas,and gander mnt. Good bye bass pro... You guys suck!!!

Garmin nuvi 40

Bass Pro Auburn Hills, MI has a sale on this product. Free Lifetime Maps. Sure! I bought a similar Garmin product from same store in late 2011. $120. or so was also supposed to be w/ Lifetime Free Maps. (NOT!) So I went on Garmin WebSite. Free Maps was not even listed for this model at that price. Why do they do that? Just to get you to drive 40 miles 1- way to be scammed I guess.

Poor Management Decision

I teach a concealed carry class and I contacted the manager at teh Denham Springs, LA Bass Pro Shop about reserving a time for my students to shoot. I did not ask for a discount or anything, just reserve a lkane for my students to shoot. The manager told me that he cannot do that because it interferes with his normal paying cutomers. I don't understand how my 20+ students are not normal paying customers as many of them buy additional items while they are in the store. I also put 20 people through his range in 2 hours which if they were all there individually he would never get that many shooters through the range. Business must be good at Bass Pro.

So suppose to get paid at Bass pro on Friday. So go to pick up check and not there. Go back Saturday and still not there. Management said there is nothing we can do til Monday. Really! Some of us have bills to pay.
