Less than poor, Sold me the incorrect mattress and dont want to exchange for the correct one. Its sad that you can not trust the salesperson from Ashley Furniture, they assure you they sold you the correct furniture and when delivered its incorrect. Also they wont even give you the time to speak to them, you are rerouted to a call center and they dont even let you talk to the manager or salesperson directly. Shame, Shame, Shame!!! Its all about the principle!! Sad!!

This company is a joke. We purchased a bedroom set in June. Paid up front. Promised delivery in July, then rescheduled to August. On the day of delivery, they just didn't show up. When we called we were told it would be mid-September. Spoke to an Assistant Manager who was simply incompetent. Spoke wit the Store Manager who is possibly the rudest retail employee I have ever encountered. It is shocking that in these depressed economic times that a company has so little regard for it's customers. STAY AWAY!!!! Do not shop there!!! You will not get what you pay for and you will be treated very poorly.

WE WENT OUT AND PURCHASED A BED ROOM SET FOR OUR DAUGHTER. WE HAD PURCHASED THE BED ROOM SET FROM ASHLEYS FURNITURE STORE IN LOU.KY. THIS HAS BEEN A NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!! THE DRESSER WAS UNLEVEL,THE LEG BROKEN,AND THE TOP CRACKED ALL THE WAY DOWN THE BACK. THE CHEST LEG WAS ALSO BROKEN. THE FUNNY PART IS WE HAVE SPOKE WITH EVERY MANAGER,SALES REP,SUPERVISOR AND NO ONE WILL HELP US.SO WE FINALLY DROVE THE BROKEN PIECES BACK OUT TO THE FACTORY AND LEFT THEM THERE. WE TOLD THEM THEY NEEDED TO FIX IT AND CALL US WHEN ITS READY. ALMOST 2 WKS LATER WE RECEIVED A CALL TO COME PICK IT UP. WE GET THERE AND ITS STILL BROKEN????????? NOW WE ARE TOLD WE HAVE TO WAIT A FEW MORE WEEKS SO THEY CAN ORDER ANOTHER PIECE?? WAIT MY ASS!!!!! THIS IS CRAZY THE WAY THEY ARE TREATING PEOPLE. ARE YOU ALL AWARE IF IT WEREN'T FOR US CUSTOMERS YOU WOULDN'T HAVE A COMPANY???? THIS IS THE WORST "CUSTOMER SERVICE" I HAVE EVER HAD TO DEAL WITH. ITS A SHAME.

I spent $6,200.00 in a bedroom set and formal dining room set on May 7 2010 and was promised delivery on 6/10/2010. I just got the last piece of furniture in on August 3, 2010. They delivered it in three seperate pieces, the dining room table is supposed to have two leaves and was manufactured wrong only fits one leave. (One of about a dozon problems so far)The customer service manager has told us its since been discontinued and have offered us a 15% discount on only the table price or a reselect but won't take the piece of crap back and give me my money.... Ashley is the absolute worst and you'd be better served elsewhere..... I should have ran when I had the chance.....

It was 05/2010, I purchased 3 groups of furniture (Living room) (Dining room) & (Family room) from Cherry Hill NJ. There was a problem with a piece of furniture in every group that I receieved. At the time of delivery, all damages was noted and I was promised replacement. After a week or two of not hearing from anyone from the store, I called and was advised that they were prepared to replaced the damaged arms of my love seat and 2 couches one of which was leather. I naturally refused and requested new furniture. I did not pay for repaired damaged furniture, therefore I was not accepting it. During this time, I received my dining room set which consisted of a table, 4 chairs, a buffet and a china cabinet. Everything was delivered with the exception of my china. I am almost 3 months in and still have partial and damaged furniture. After countless phones calls, I finally received a call from the distribution center on the day I was promised to receive my china and was told that when they opened it, they noticed it was damaged and I had to wait for a back order. It is now 8/11/2010 and I have yet to hear from anyone in that store. This is the WORST experience I have ever had purchasing furniture. I will never entertain this store again. When you call, a manager is never available. As a matter of fact I told this evening she was out to dinner. The furniture looks good but is not worth the wait or the countless phone calls and excuses. When you enter the store you are sworned by pleasant people. After you spend your money and leave the store, you are totally forgotten and disregarded!!!! Buyers beware!!!!

We bought a dining room table and five chairs in March. We were told that the set was on back order and would not be delivered until May 14th. Unfortunately, we were told that we had to pay full price to get our furniture delivered so we agreed. To make a long story short the furniture was delivered but 4 out of the 5 chairs have one leg shorter than the other three! All five chairs have cracks and finish issues. So we called the customer service line right away and setup for five new chairs to be delivered. Once again we had to wait another two months to get them. When the day finally arrived for the new chairs to be delivered, we got a call saying that all five were damaged and needed to be reordered! Now its looking like September to get our chairs! What a joke! We are going to file a complaint with the BBB and call their Corporate Headquarters. For those that live in Nevada and Arizona, never buy from these people!

I spent a day at the Ashley Furniture store and ordered a $4000 bedroom suite on June 27th. I was given a delivery date 5 days later for my mattress/box springs and the remainder of furniture by July 15th. The delivery date was changed on numerous occasions because the pieces were "backordered". It has been one bad experience after another. Customer service is DEPLORABLE. I am still waiting on one piece of furniture--today I was told it may be 2 more weeks. The manager was completely unhelpful and promised to research into my order without any return phone call. I've taken off time from work to have the final pieces delivered and there was a poorly covered up "ding" on the chest of drawers at eye level, so the piece was sent back. This has been the most disappointing experience, especially considering the amount spent. This company has completely lost my business in the future. I am planning to write a letter to the Better Business Bureau as well as the Attorney General about my experience with this company. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE.

I have been very happy with Ashley Furniture, Columbus, GA. The prices are the best in the area, the quality of furniture is great, and the customer service is extraordinary. Steve Britt of Ashley furniture went out of his way to help me. I forgot my straps to secure my new furniture I purchased after I already loaded it on my truck. He went out of his way to drive me to my house so that I could get the straps. Again, I have been a returning customer for over a decade. And it's people like Steve Britt and the great prices that keep me coming back.

I like so many others am having a problem; I received my TV stand in May, which was damaged, they sent out a technician and he said it was definitely damaged and there was nothing he could do about it, it needed to be replaced. The store ordered me a replacement, which they said could not be delivered until June 28th, I received a call telling me the delivery would be here between 8AM and Noon; five minutes later I received a call from the store telling me that they were not delivering the piece because it was also damaged. They promised me it would only take another week and they would get me a new stand, it is now August and I am still waiting, I finally went back to the store and spoke with the manager, he guaranteed me it would be here on the 5th of August (which is today); we will see if it actually gets here undamaged, The customer service is horrible; I was willing to keep the first stand if they would discount it but they refused. How do you people stay in business?????

Ashley Furniture Outlet and delivery in LaVergne Tennessee is a major joke. I have called every store to try to get help and the ongoing issues resolved, and I am greeted with condescending, rude, stupid, incompetent people (Sasha - Customer Service, Chris King - Store Manager (really?), Eddy Day (warehouse manager) to name a few). I have tried to get in touch with the franchise head in the Nashville area, Tony Gallatin, and he never returns calls and employes a bunch of morons. Someone needs to remove this guys franchise license, as he and his troop are destroying Ashley Furnitures reputation...a company that really does have good, quality merchandise.

With this feedback, I can't imagine how you are still in business. I too was a victim of the delivery bait & switch.On July 1st, I ordered a sofabed for our guests to sleep on at our SUMMER home and was given a delivery date of July 19th (printed right on the receipt). It was then postponed until August 3rd. I am now being told that it won't be available until July 27th. I told them (after 4 attempts to reach someone who could help me and a wasted day on the phone) that I would not be visiting the summer home after the 27th and so it was impossible for me to get it to its destination. Not only do I need to scramble for a guest bed for the summer but I will now have to pay storage on the couch until we go back next summer. I was told I could cancel but would need to pay a 30% restocking fee. I will contact not only the BBB but the Attorney General and, needless to say, I'll never buy furniture from Ashley again! Too bad, because I'm remodeling a home as we speak and need LOTS of furniture. I've also called Clark Howard to get the word out on your shoddy business practices. Sad way to run a business. I agree with the lawsuit plan.

This has been the worse experience ever. The people have no clue. The sales people are inexperience, no customer service skills, no idea how to deal with people. Ordered a table over 3 months ago, still don't have it. No one returns your call, no one cares! The Corporate Phone Number is useless. A Joke, to try and talk to anyone at Ashley. No one can authorize anything to make a customer happy. No one can do anything. A bunch of useless people claiming a pay check. No one but the owner can authorize any concessions, but the owner does not give a crap about any of the customers. The owner is not accountable to the Ashley name, or anyone. He does as he chooses. I was told Ashley (the store owner) decides who to talk to, or who should talk to who. So if you are talking to a manager and they have no authority, you are basically SOL. It is the biggest line I have ever been given. I hope this entire Corporation goes out of business and no one ever shops at Ashley furniture. Trust me it is not worth it. You will regret it.

Phil T for Beverly T I purchased a sofa item # 1700038 form the Geneve NY store and with in the warranty period the seat cushions with stripes turn black. They replaced it and the next set of cushions also turned black with in 8 mouths and now they won't return my calls for infomation as to what can be done. I've called many times and left messages and the owner Jim Colizzi will not return my calls. As with many of you who have left you stories on this web site I also will never shop there agin.I also recomend that you also should not shop at Ashley Furniture Stores.I will be advising the BBB in our area as to the pure service and Qauality of their products.

My WORST Experience buying furniture. After spending over 7K in furniture and paying CASH after 10 weeks I am still waiting for my furniture! I will make sure every neighbor, friend, acquaintance know that this is the WORST furniture store in California. Save yourself time, a heart attack, stress and go to another furniture store. Don't be fooled by their ads or salespeople.

I bought two items at two differnet times. One product was a 44 inch TV and got a 32 inch in the box. Two completely differnt brands. Also the other product was a used Blue Ray.

We too are the unsuspecting victims of Ashley furniture. We purchased a sofa and chair from the Greenwood,In store, upon delivery, the chair ($450.00)was damaged and the foot rest would not stay latched in the down position, it appeared to have been dropped and damaged.We contacted them and they said they would send out someone to service the chair. Meanwhile the cushions on the couch started to flatten out and looked as if the couch was 10 years old. we complained to customer service and they kept sending out repair parts but the same repair person would show up and then have some BS reason as to why he didnt need to install the parts.Finally after numerous complaints they sent out a good repair person who took the time to try and repair the furniture, he worked hard at replacing the cushions and did his best to make things right.However the cushions are flat again and look terrible.We have contacted customer service several more times only to get the run around. WE WILL NEVER BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE AGAIN. TAKE TIME TO READ YOUR CONTRACT.

The rating on this transaction is zero or less on 04/24/10 we have purchased a sectional here at our local store 16762 Hwy 59S in Sugar land TX, 77479, our sales rep was Michael Anthony. when we received the sectional it was defective, we contacted the store , they informed us that they dont have the same color in stock, so they offered another sectional in another color. Since it was a floor sample and the otoman was missing the wheels and had marks, the manager at the store Mike Gomez offered us discount, and told us that your total will be $1,321.00 and the rest $626.37 will be credit back to your account. We paid $1761.28 on 4/23 and $186.09 on 4/26 Total = $1947.37, we agreed and the replacement furniture was delivered, but we never got the credit $626.37 that was promised to us. we have called and visited the local Ashley furniture several times, but no one every replied our calls or did refund any money. so we called our credit card company and asked for $626.37 refund for this transaction. we provided all the proofs requested by the credit card company. Finally the credit card company credit $626.37 back to our account. few days after that we received a call from Ashley furniture corporate office, apologizing for the bad service and confirming that that amount that has been refunded back to us is exactly the same as it show in their records. The gentleman also offered a service to the furniture which we gladly accepted. Now the amazing part is that , few days back when I got my credit card bill, I see the Ashley furniture has re charged me the $626.37 on my card. we went to the local AShley store and the local manager (a new one) Steve Wood made a false promise to take care of the matter, but he did not even care to call us back. Now, we have been trying to get our money back, if some one at the ashley furniture is reading this, they should at least have the courtesy to contact me @ 8327410186 and refund my money back. this is the worst server we have ever got for a company that has been know for its best products and customers service

The rating on every transaction I have had would be less than zero! Almost $10,000 in furniture that was promised to be delivered no later than 2 months ago is again pushed out until late september. So I attempt to contact the "corporate HQ" to find out they have no control over deliveral or production...so who does? Terrible service top to bottom!!!!never again

Shopping at Ashley Furniture has been the worst experience. We purchased a leather sofa/chaise. It was delivered this morning with a defect. The delivery man said he would contact customer service and someone would be calling us within 45 minutes and repair or replace the cushion by end of the week (the next 2 days). No one called us. I called customer service in Phoenix after waiting for over 10 minutes then being cut off and calling back to wait again. I was told that a tech would come out to look at the cushion to decide what to do with the brand new couch, but he could not come until 8/12/10 which is in 2 weeks. I told them this was unacceptable and that we wanted to couch picked up and returned. They told us the driver oculd not come back. I then contacted the manager at the store we purchased the furniture from (Superstition Springs in Mesa, Arizona) and was told he would check on it and call me right back. I have called now 3 times and can't seem to get a answer from anyone. I would strongly advise people to not shop at Ashley Furniture, at least in Arizona. Their customer service is diplorable and their managers act as though they really don't care if they make a sale of if the customer is happy or not. In this tough time with the economy you would think the managers would want to try and accomodate the needs of their customers. I am a very unhappy customer and will never in the future purchase furniture from a company like this. I guess they old saying is "you get what you pay for". Obviously the quality of management is pretty pathetic.

I can only say ditto to what has been said. My aunt has had the worst experience with this company in Charleston. She purchased the furniture in March but was told it could not be ordered til she paid the total price. The total was paid June and she was given a delivery of July 5, 2010. When the furniture did not come we started calling and was given the rude explanation that this was a tentative date. That they had 14 days before considered late. Long story short within 14 days not there. My aunt called to find out what was up and they said should be delivered Aug 3 which is what they said about July 5 and then July 27th (week of). So when we went to cancel as Scott (mgr) said we could with no penalty, David (gm) now says can't without 20percent penalty. He then tried to feed us some bull that the 3rd of Aug is still the week of July 27th (uh not, it's the next week). They gave us the run around each time we called, we had to call distribution ourselves. When asking for upper mgt phone they said they would have someone call (guess what) didn't hear back today, guess they gotta get stories straight first. Never again..
