I wanted to address a concern that took place at 3624 Candlers Mountain Road: 804-528-2626. I irdered Chk Qsa Grande and when my food was given to me: it had the rapper from the cheese on it. I then requested to speak to the manager. I was approached by Chuck to express my concerns with him-After expressing my concerns Chuck abruptly advised me that he would credit me $8.69 but not once did he offer an apology. While offering a credit was appropriate what a manager must realized is that an apology goes a lot further than a credit. On my order was a tea which I was charged for. My total bill for the evening was $2.04. My waitress Krisie B was very apologetic and I want to thank her very much for her concern and consideration for caring. The key is to Know you Customer, Care about You Customer and Act on Behalf of your customers. Your customers drive your revenue which makes your customers your #1 priority and this is something that Chuck needs to be coached on. I thank you very much for your time for reading and addressing my concern

I went to Applebee's on Friday, April 30, 2010 with my children and nieces. We went for the happy hour to eat our favorite boneless chicken wings. I started feeling sick about 2 hours after eating. Once I got home I was so sick. I thought it was just me. Early in the morning all my kids were sick. I called Applebee's the next day to dispute my bill and the manager was not apologetic at all. I was told I would receive a call and have not yet. Never again!!

I went to your Applebees in Palm Beach, FL (on Northlake just east of 95) on Thursday, May 6th at around 1 PM. I was seated immediately but received no service after 15 minutes. Others were served who came after me. When I left and gave my menu to the manager, he turned to someone and said that was your table but NOT a word to me. I even told the hostess who was sitting down she never got up or said a word to me.

I want to thank you for honoring teachers on Teacher Appreciation Day. On May 4, 2010 I ate at the Whitehall, OH Applebee's. The meal was free! There was a variety of selections, and the service, by David, was excellent! My steak dinner was delicious. Thank you for your generosity. Was this just a local event or was it national?

| I am a reg, at applebees , I spend well over 300 to 400 dollars a wk in applebees. When a customer comes last and a gen manager don't give a cramp, I can send my clients else were. Its a problem when one fuss at the bartender when the food was not properly cooked, and several days ago hambuger meat has a smell. One never know who knows who! Applebees in augusta. For mother's day May 9 2010 i got a car to go order and it was the worst experience. When i got home my husband dinner had to be re heated in microwave. My vegetables were under cooked and my mother in laws was not well done beef.
Wasted 47.01 dollars on mother day i will never forget.
Do something quickly or loose business and trust . Do not go to APPLEbee's in woburn mass.

| My Family ate at Apple Bees In Naperville Ill on a saturday afternoon my niece got her plate of food and began to eat her mashed potatoes when she noticed there was something in her potatoes. the watress salled her manager over and he explained that it was from the tooth pich they put on the staek. My nicece was very upset because it was not on the potatoes ut was mixed in. The next week we decided to try Apple Bees again same location same niece only this time it was her drink. She got her drink and noticed paper in the drink she pulled out the paper which was a reciept. the explanation was it got in the ice. Come on is no one checking on what is going out to the customers? Only excuses. We will not return to Apple Bees. |

| My son worked there several years ago and was fired while he was under the cared of a doctor following knee surgery. They have mostly young kids working for them which the managers intimidate often, threatenting to fire them over silly things. He is once again working for the same Applebees and is out again following knee surgery. I wasn't living near him the first time but I am now. If he is fired this time I am taking charge and make sure his rights are not violated!!!! |

| went for first time to neighborhood restaurant for 2/$20 special. After waiting a very long time we finally rec'd the appetizer advertised of artichoke and spinach but no mention of all the cheese it was baked in. So we wait again. There was not ONE single "HEALTHY" appetizer to choose from on the "special". no substitution and ended up with onions just cooked in grease. good? yes healthy "no"! Our waitress (new also - Latrisha) was the best thing in the restaurant but still had no power to really make things right with us. She tried to make suggestions to the more seasoned waitress. A manager was never seen by us. We waited over ONE HOUR for our SALAD!! I have no plans to return to this restaurant unless they make some changes. Weight Watchers needs to know not to endorse them also. The "seasoned" waitress didn't even know how to ring a substitute up and as i mentioned, we never saw a manager and she didn't bother to ASK a manager how to ring up a substitute. just all around very disappointing dinner. |

| Went for 2/$20. not one single healthy appetizer available. it took well over an hour to get a salad! it was good but my god the waitresses can't even get the manager to find out how to override and give us a healthy appetizer especially after having us wait for so long for everything. MY waitress was great but she was new. She was the one making suggestions for another appetizer like quesadillas with no cheese but the other one didn't know how to ring it up. NEVER saw a manager. Not happy with Applebees that's for sure. Won't be MY favorite neighborhood place to go! |

| I was at the Applebees in Cambridge MN yesterday & the waitress accidently spilled a full glass of ice water in my lap. She was very upset & couldn't say she was sorry enough times. She told the mgr what happened, & the mgr came over & asked if everything was ok. to which I replied it was a little cold, & she just walked away. She did not offer an apology or a complimentary cocktail, to which I was actually sipping my 3rd martini. The least she could have done was offer me a towel or a discount on my bill. I was actually shocked because of all the other times we have eaten there, a manager usually comes to our table to see how we are doing, this is the 1st time I had seen this particular manager & I was not impressed to say the least. I will say the waitress was awesome, her name is Tanisha & she did bring me quite a few napkins to dry myself off with. |

| We generally have had horrible experiences at the Applebees location at Morton Blvd in Hazard, KY. Service is very slow and the food is not very appetizing. On several occassions we have left the establishment after sitting at our table for 20 min or more with no service, not even drinks. We have stayed away choosing to take our business to more efficient better run rest. in the area. Recently we decided to give Applebees another shot. We ordered take out. Not a good idea. We pulled in to the carry out parking spot and immediately a waiter came out and gave us a ticket, no food. He said our food wasn't ready but he wanted to go ahead and give us our ticket????? I noticed that the order on the ticket was not right. I went inside where the manager was sent to me. I was told the waiter had taken our order to a hotel next door. Turns out half of our order had not even been entered. I asked if the other half was ready but of course it wasn't, even after 25 minutes. I was very frustrated. We had wasted close to 30 minutes for nothing. I just told them to forget about it and walked out. NEVER again will I step foot in this rest. Very unprofessional. | We recently visited the Applebees in Colombia Heights, MN. My sister and I were sitting in the area on a couch, where one waits. When she stood up, I fell to the floor. The cushion we were sitting on was apparently not fastened down in any way. I checked it and I was able to remove it, thus it was just sitting there. I am not the kind of person who sues, but if an elderly person fell off and broke something, it would have been a problem and you could be sued. I suggest this get fixed soon! Thanks. |

It's a shame I can't give less than one star. "Welcome to our neighborhood! Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar is the world's most casual serving leader, with over 1600 restaurants, pushing out some of the worst service and ill prepared foods in the industry.
My wife and I would eat at Applebee's - @ - 1545 Palm Bay Road in Melbourne Florida at least once or twice a month ... not anymore ... after several barely mediocre experiences and tonights awful dining displeasure y'all have finally convinced us not to return. The food had to be returned cause it was raw ... the once terrific onion soup had to have been made last month, left out, and reheated just for us and the non-existent service - oh well maybe you'll get it right while in Chapter XI.
Whoever designed your menu, especially the appetizers (that cost more than the meal, should be encouraged to find another line of work along with the cooks and staff from the facility above (can't call it a retaurant). |

I went into Applebee's Natomas, CA. I spent $59.99 and chsnge
The next week the $59+ showed as deducted from my account and another charge for over $89.00 showed up!! I have called and called and called. I have given at least TWO Managers the information from my bank and though they admit it is an error; they pass the buck and tell me someone will "look" into it. Almost 30 DAYS later, I call again and yet to another manager this goes. Their answer "There is no reason to be upset" WRONG!!!!
I AM UPSET AND STILL OUT ALMOST $90.00!!" Wrong, Wrong, Wrong...no apology, no conern, just attitude.

| After a problem of having a tip added to my charge card in error,(tip was left in cash), Mgr. Skip was going to credit my account. He did not and when I called a month later, he said he would send me the money. He sent the money and included a ticket good for $5 , but, put the wrong name on it. A keystone comedy place, very inefficient. |

Hi, I have never been to an Applebees restaurant before and thought my daughter and I would give it a try. I noticed the large sign above the greeting area about service and coming back again. I will very disappointed in the whole dining experience. First of all my daughter ordered a diet coke and received a diet pepsi(she knows the difference) Other restaurants will tell you that they ask you if diet pepsi is all right and she would have chosen a rootbeer instead. I ordered the lightly battered fish and chips thinking it was lighty battered, boy was I wrong. We got our food but no utensils at all. I asked the Hostess and she said the utensils are in the dishwasher and would be out when they are done washing. I mentioned to our waiter that the fish was very thick with batter and he would try his best to get another one. Our utensils and fish arrived. The fish was better, but had lots of greasy batter. I asked for more coffee when my daughter got her drink and for 10 minutes I waited till out server arrived and had to ask for another coffee. He came back with coffee right away. I asked the Hostess to speak with the manager and he came and I felt he did not seem sympathetic , that I was wasting his time.I told him that it was my first time here and i am very disappointed about the whole meal. I told him I was from Canada and he mentioned that that is what we do in the U.S.A. with our battered fish, and he kept saying it. He said he would take the fish off the bill.. | I went to Applebee's in Waco, TX the Saturday before Memorial Day with two friends. The table where we were seated was very sticky. We called the waitress over to clean it. She tried, but the sticky residue remained. It was like wet sellac. The menu and everything was sticking to it. The sticky stuff got all over my hands and I have not been able to get it off. It has transferred to door knobs, cabinet pull, the car steering wheel and everything I have touched. It won't wash off. Soap and water makes it worse. The only thing that helps a little is finger nail polish remover. I have gone to a local paint store to see about a remover. There are numerous removers, most of them dangerous, and they don't know what to recommend because they don't know what is on the tables. I just came from Applebee's complaining to the General Manger. I walked in and there was one of the waitresses cleaning the tables and chairs on that side of the restaurant trying to get the sticky stuff off. She said they were going to refinish the table and chairs that week end. The Manager has been there since December 2009 and a waiter named Adam has been there since November 2009. Adam said the tables have been that way since he had been there and customers complain all the time. Stan, the Manger, skirted around the issue a lot. He said he would get in touch with the former Manger to see what they had put on the tables. Meanwhile, I still have this sticky issue and can't get it resolved. Why has this situation been allowed to continue all these months? The sticky stuff also ruined a handbag. I plan to continue trying to get a resolution to this issue. |

| I went to Applebees on Laburnum Ave, Richmond Va. on 6/14/2010. I was seated by the hostess and waited for a server so that I could order my drink and food. I watched 2 other tables be seated after me. A server came to both of the tables and waited on them but not my table. I ended up getting frustrated and walking out to take my business to a different restaurant This is not the first time that I have been ignored when attempting to dine at this particular restaurant. I will NEVER go there again. |

I went into Applebee's 523 on Friday 6-11-10 with 6 of my customers. We had ordered a few appetizers and a couple beers. After getting almost done with our spinach dip we noticed a latex glove. This almost made me sick. I asked for a manager to come out. Once the young unprofesional so called manager came out he was like "oh i'm sorry" I was very upset at the way he handled the issue. He said he would take the appetizer off the bill. I was not happy with that at all. I asked for the corp office number and called them Monday 6-14-10. The had a district manager call me. He said sorry and that was it. I will take this up with an attorney, health service and my local new station.

Last month in May, my family and I went to your restaurant in Puyallup, WA, near the South Hill Mall. Not sure what the exact date was, it was in the early evening. It has always been a great place to go for the family for great food and especially the prompt service. However, on this evening, I had some of the worst service ever. I know that your restaurant is not like this!! (The name of our sever was Breanne?) We could tell she did not want to wait on us or give us any service whatsoever. We didn't want to cause any sort of scene out of embarrasment or have any sort of outbursts out of respect for the other patrons. I do believe she should be held responsible for her rudeness and reprimanded to the fullest. We do want to return to our normal routine, having been going there at least twice a week , but all 6 of us are leary . We hopefully can get our $100.00 gift card so we can try again:) Thank-you for your time.

I am a former employeee with a question of a phone number to the Corperate Office and wanted to express dis-satisfaction with the Crew of Managment. I was not ever given the answer to my question much less the correct number to call to get my pay that was owed to me.
Th Restraunt in Temple Texas is the most un organized Restraunt in town, Very, very poor customer service for people answering the phones and for the Manager Mary that told me to call 6/22/10 for my questions to be answered by Chris Hogan, he was not even scheduled to work that day. Mary could have given me her self the Corprate Office number if she would have only took the time, I might add she knew what I was needing because I told her.
I was told 3 different time to call back at a better time where business was slower and agreed to do so but still am waiting for the Corperate number
Apple Bee's owes me 2 pay checks and I just wanted my money dispite me being fired I still should receive respect in the customer service department to receive my money that is owed to me. I spoke with a Venessa and she was very helpful but, had a run around with the Manager Mary. I have been calling for 3 days to get the correct response to my questions.

| I took my family of 5 to Applebees on June 23rd @ 4:37 pm We were seated at a table and then was told we couldnt sit there because the table was broken. We were moved to another table. The waitress did appologize to us.We placed our order and waited about 10-15 minutes we received our appetizer w/extra plates. The quesidilla was hard and the food was cold and we noticed that a few plates were dirty. I told the waitress and she again appologized and took the dirty plate but never replaced it. We ordered the rueben sandwich and they were kinda greasy, the onion rings were hard and stale.Our bill was 67.00 and it was not worth it for the quality of the food we received.We did not say anymore about it to the waitress/manager because they did not care about the dirty plates. | I wanted to address a concern that took place at the Cortland, NY Resturant on July 1st, which we visit at least once a week. I ordered your Roast beef sliders which I have ordered in the past, when I got them the beef was all the scrapes from the bottom of the meat slicer and was then fried which is not the way I ordered it. When I told the waitress about the problem she told that she would inform the manager, which she did, but the manager did not have the courtesy to even come to our table to discuss my concerns. I am very disapointed in this type of service and was only looking for an apology. In the future if one plate does not come out correct, then I will refuse the food and leave the resturant and refuse to pay. I hope corporate addresses this problem. |

| I used to work at applebees in Sanford,NC. That was the nastiest place I ever worked at every day we pulled moldy stuff off the line and behind equipment. They don't even mop the floors they just spray them off. Half their dishes still have food on them where it wasn't washed properly. And they have the worst managament team on earth. Why do you need 5 managers that is ridiculous.They don't do anything pertaining to work they just sit out front and talk their whole shift. When i started they had somebody that was there for 3 weeks to train me and then complained about my performance, but shortly after had me training somebody. Also there is a prejudice issue. If a white person says something it's all cool, but if a black person says something they get fired.This isn't just myself this also happened with two previous black cooks. The waitress's don't even like to wait on black people because they say they don't tip. I am not trying to get even or get back at anybody i already have another job making more money i was going to put in my two weeks notice the day I was fired for something that never happened I am just looking out for the next guy. The person who lied and got me fired is Corina Adams!!!!!!!!!!! |

| The Apple Bee's in Phenix City, Alabama needs to hire all new management and fast!! We went in to enjoy a nice dinner with the family and it turned into a nightmare, the food was awful, it was loud, employees were drinking and the service well lets just say my 5 year old could do a better job!! All the waitress's have attitudes so bad and the management well lets just say they all think it's just a joke yeah giving the food for free is fine but I mean is it that hard to apologize or offer to replace it!! The bathrooms was awful as well very unclean and smelled horrible, it's sad when you enjoy a family dinner at Chick-fil-a more than a expensive restaurant maybe they should close applebees for the day and go there for lessons on management and serving the public!! The only person I have to brag on is the cook in the back Chris he was very apologetic and the only one who offered to fix our order the right way and he wasn't even clocked in yet,thats a shame that someone not even on the clock cared enough to offer to fix the order maybe he should be a manager!! We arrived Sat. July 3 around 5:30 to blarring music OUTSIDE the restaurant. We thought that should have been a red flag...We have eaten there before at the Eastbrook Mall in Mansfield Connecticut before and like some of there items on the menu and had a decent experience. But this time was very different...the hostess asked us "How can I help you?"
And my husband replied "Please seat us as far away from that LOUD music as possible!"
I'm only guessing but, I don't think she liked that and sat us at the first booth, right under the speaker. We said " No Thank you" and asked for another booth. When we sat down at this booth my husband did not like it there either. The hostess threw the forks and placemats on the table and I asked her to please have the manager turn the music down a little. My husband and I moved to another booth, waited there for about 15 minutes or more and we were never waited on AND the music was never turned down!!! So...we got up and left and no one said a word to us. We went to Ruby Tuesday's in North Windham, Ct. and had a wonderful meal and a fabulous dining experience. That's how it should be...we will never return to Applebees again. I have never been treated like this before. I thought that the customer is always right!?!?!?! | I was in the location on Miller Rd, Flint MI, and realize that they have poor management service. My steak came to the table incorrect and the manager that was scheduled seem as if he did'nt care.. I went to the new location which is on Pierson Rd. And we seem to have the sam problem. Several servers walk by our table without any greet, until 10 minutes past and we was ask for our order. | My girlfriend and I went to the Applebee's in Totowa NJ the other day. She ordered the Spinach and Artichoke dip and I order some Dynamite shrimp. Now, I have gotten Dynamite Shrimp quite a good amount of times before but never like this. There was only ten pieces maybe. I could clearly see the cole slaw underneath. For the price I paid for the ship it was a huge rip off and extremely unexcusable. I will never return to an applebees again. I also overheard the server saying some rude remarks about her tables. I cant completely remember her name. Jazmine or something like that maybe I don't know. The point is, it looked like people picked off our food before they brought it out. Terrible terrible. |

I took my boys and grandchildren to Applebee's in Eden Prairie, MN yesterday, 8/21/10, to celebrate my son's birthday.
While eating a chicken salad I bit into a piece of chicken that contained a bone. I broke a tooth off. I told the waitress, Rebecca, she appologized and told the general manager
a young dark haired women, who proceeded to write down my name and number, and told me
I "must have poor teeth". She then walked away. The waitress again appologized for the managers rudeness. I went to my dentist immediately, I had just been in for my yearly check up on Monday, they took another xray and compared to monday's, my dentist said there wasn't any problem before the "bone" in the meat issue, I now have to have a crown on the tooth. I am not only angry about the broken tooth and cost to repair, I do not appreciate the rude attitude of your GM. |

| I am was a employee at applebees in jacksonville nc . i worked there for about two and half months . yesterday i was working from 11:30am to 4pm got sent home earlie by the gm. it all started my very first table wanted soup . well we only serve french onion and she told me the only thing that they we aloud to have was soups so i told her i was more then welcome to make her some other soup if there any that she would like . well she didnt want any of the other soups so she left . that fine didnt make her pay for her drinks or anything . went to go tell the gm that was working about the table i had he yelled at me wouldnt let me explain the whole story told me that i was argueing with him . when all i was doing was trying to explain him about the table. then my four table i had was two older ladys very nice they said they loved me gave me both $20 bills well i didnt have change told them i would be right back with there change . saw one of my other tables get sat as i took the ladies change told them i would be right with them what could i get you too drink the first guy said a lemande the other said a tall bud light cool told them i was getting change and that i would be right back . as i ask them bar if they could get me change she took forever so i started to ask other servers as im asking i rang in those drinks. no one got me change so i went and ask the gm if he could get me change out of the office so he did . he asked me why it was taking me forever to get change and why i never greeted my other table and if i did there should of been napkins on the table and i told him that i went straight to the table from another table ... he told me that i couldnt handle more then two table that i need to talk to him about that . ok so i got my change and then i went to the bar to see if my drinks were ready to take the drinks and the change back to the table all at once the drink wasnt ready so i went and droped the change off to |

| On Saturday, July 24 my girlfriend and I went to an applebee's restraunt located in Marion, IL and recieved the worst service I had ever experienced. While comped 50% on the bill i still feel that it did not make up for the poor service we recieved. The servers name was Hayley and was horrible at her job. She conversated with a table that she obviously knew for at least 10-15 min while our food was sitting under a heat lamp getting cold. | The silverware is usually always dirty or at least has spots on the dishes and silverware. The management of young whipper snappers is appauling. Who trained these guys anyway? My male dog has better manners than these young managers. Music was acid hard rock. I can understand why you have to be stoned to endure it. I do not enjoy being hailed a liar; I told the boy about the study they did on plants and music. That type of music kills plants and the boy quickly said "Did they forget to water it?" I told him no. It was the music. What are they teaching the children these days? Eating out is supposed to be a enjoyable experience, but not at Applebee's. I spends a lot of money there monthly and if I continue to do so the headquarters needs to clean up their act all over it sounds to me after reading some of the complaints of Applebee's customers. | Applebees, on duluth hwy, last time my family will eat something from there. Food was ordered only to be served with a long piece of hair in it. Manager was denying that hair came from their restaurant. When I spoke to General Manager for store he was defending the manager that said he remade the entire order which was not true at all. Another note if you are not happy with your food they do not give you your money back you have to go through the cooperate office for a gift card, so basically trapping you to their facilities. So from what I have read from above this is not just here for the type of service, but all around with applebees. I well learned lesson for my family on where to eat and where not to eat. I do not recommend this place to anyone that wants hairless food and good service. |

GTonight I mt to friends at an Applebee's Restaurant and order the steak with cheese on it served with potatoes and brocolli. I ask the steak to be pink in the center. It was served practically burned on one end and it was so tough I could not hardly cut it. The potatoes were not done either. The waitress said that she would get me another meal and I said I would take the tipalia. This was to be served with a corn relish on a bed of rice. It was brought to me and the broccoli was so raw it was pathetic and where it was old it was yellow on the edges. I told the girl and she ask if I wanted more. The brocoli was alright that came with the steak and I had eaten that. I kept thinking something is wrong. She ask if I wanted to speak to the manager and I thought since he knew it he should come to the table and finally he did come and he said well I will give you the small dessert or the shooter. He brought one and I ask for hot fudge and there was basically no fudge on this. I gave up and was glad to leave and realized that the tiplia was to have been served on a bed of rice which I did not get.
The last time I got the Santa Fe chicken salad It was with regular gobs of head lettuce and was unrecognizable. What is wrong? I do not even think I should have been charged with a meal of only broccoli and a small piece of fish.
Until someone takes more interest I will never go back and this was not the waitress fault so I tipped her 15% but I am disgusted. GThis one is in Salisbury, NC. What a pathetic situation when teh economy is not good and restaurants take no pride in their food or service. Who is to know in the kitchen that the Cajun tilapia which did not appear to be cajun was to be served with rice? The Cook? Who oversees these things?

| I just went for the lunch--soup & salad deal at my local Applebee's during my lunch hour. We arrived at approximately 11:35am. We finally received our soup & salad at 12:10. I ordered the french onion soup. It was not even warm enough to melt the cheese. I told my waiter it was cold and he said, "well, what other kind would you like". I did get a replacement bowl of soup in less than a minute that was hot. However, when we asked for butter for our rolls, it took another 10 minutes for the butter for our bread. Forget getting more salad or rolls. Even though they advertise bottomless bread, soup & salad. After an hour, we decided we had enough. Asked for our check and waited and waited. While waiting for the check to arrive; we happen to look at the post next to our table as 3 roaches were running down and over the edge of the wall into the bar area. Then we looked up at the ceiling and there were about 5-6 baby roaches running along the top of the posts along the ceiling. The manager did comp our lunch; but we also reported the filthiness to our local health department. |

| I would like to know why the Applebees in Beaverton,Oregon does not include Top Shelf Long Island Ice Teas in their happy hour pricing? I would think that no matter the Applebees one chooses to dine in there would be consistency in the menu AND HAPPY Hour offers. That is what brings us back and remain loyal to you. | I asked the manager at the Applebee's in Temecula why the music could be lowered and she said that the company had given them rules to go by for the music and it could not be made any lower. It was an early lunch and there were few people in the restaurant so I could not be lowered so that us older customers could visit with each other. Also, the music was rock and roll.....very frustrating. |

| I used to refer my customer to your Applebee’s on Rome Hilliard Road in Columbus Ohio, I say used to because I will never again do so! I arrived at your Columbus West location to be seated in a booth that was wiped down prior to me sitting in it and not dried, our waitress arrived and I ordered a drink, she asked me for my id, I normally am flattered when I am asked to present my id (I am a grandparent) when she looked at me and said I cant take this is has a crack in it. I asked her why? I have never had a problem before, the id was clearly legible? And she stated it just our policy! What kind of restaurant turns away a customer with an id? I was kind of surprised because the restaurant was NOT busy, and then I realized that if they treated me so poorly I can only imagine how my customers that I have sent there have been treated. I would recommend you send someone to that location without their knowledge before they ruin your reputation and check into the customer service issues at that location. |

I was in the Elgin Applebee's restaurant on 8-14-2010. I had a problem with my steak being very overcooked and asked to speak with the manager. Apparently after several minutes she could not be found. I was furious. How could the manager not be found. I decided to cancel the steak all together and left.
As I was pulling out of the lot I noticed on the side of the building an older heavier woman sitting outside smoking. I thought to myself - this is their busiest time, their dinner hour and this woman is sitting outside smoking.
I made my mind up right then and there... I WILL NO LONGER PATRONIZE THIS ESTABLISHEMNT AND I WILL LET EVERYONE AND ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN TO ME KNOW WHAT KIND OF PLACE APPLEBEE's is. THEY DON't CARE!!

| Applebees was a great place when they first opened their doors for business in the Virginia Beach, VA area. We are a resort area so I'm certain they get a lot of business from the tourists that do not have any idea. A friend and mysekf dined today at 5:30 p.m. at 561 First Colonial Road in Virginia Beach, VA at the Hilltop location. My order was not written down on placement so it was wrong. Had to ask another wait staff person to locate her. "Sorry 'bout that!" Yes, I'm sure! With the sincerity of that, she should not have bothered to say anything at all. I see the menus are NEW once again and the prices have gone up absurdly. For the quality and QUANTITY of food you receive, your prices shoudl be going DOWN, certainly NOT up! And, you can probably guess that I will never grace the door step of Applebee's again after today. I guess Applebee's is doing so well from raising its prices and not giving a decent portion of food to match the ridiculous pricing, they can afford to LOSE customers. My husband and I(Seniors) were traveling recently and stopped at Applebees in No. Platte, Neb. As we entered the restaurant I asked one of the young ladies where there was a telephone I might use. She said they didn't have one, but that I could use her cell phone. I told her it would be long distance. She said that was allright, handed me the phone, dialed the number and left to wait on others. I completed my call, found her and returned her phone. This generous and unselfish act renewed our faith in our young people. Additionally, our waitress and the manager are also to be commended for their professional and friendly demeanor.
I am witholding the names of these exceptional people and will include them in the letter I am writing to your corporate office as soon as I finish this note.

O am writing to you as I have a major complaint with your Apple Bees in Totowa NJ Restaurant. My wife and I went out to dinner on 8/17/2010. We ordered the following food: The Mozzarella Sticks, French Dip Sliders, the Asiago Peppercorn Steak, and a Corona beer and a Caesar Side Salad. All came out well except the steak dish. When I received it at the table the plate was dirty and spotted. I asked the waitress to take it back and get me a new plate. She did and when she came back out she said that they were making a whole new dinner for . That was fine. I waited for fifteen minutes and nothing came out. Then finally ten minutes later my dish was brought to me by the manager. He apologize and then walked away. He said nothing else. His name was Bill Seylaz. When I received the bill and went over it the steak was comped it said but when i did the addition it actually was not. Spoke to the manager again and he said that the first one was taken off but he had to charge me for the second on. So how is this comped to me. It is not. The bill never changed. I paid my bill and left. This is not good customer service. Right now my wife and I will not patronize you restaurant for a long time and I will tell other people not to go there as the customer service is not good. Thank you in advance. | While on my way to northern Ill.we stopped @ applebees in Mt. Vernon.Ill. after going in to sit down & order, I realized I left my wallet in the car so I went back out to get it.while @ the car, I noticed an odd smell coming from a suv parked 2 slots over..I went back in & told my friend & son what I smelled, her son went out to the car to investigate, he came back in & told us it was marijuana.& it was coming from a red suv..after about 15 mins or so,the lady that was sitting in that red suv came in the resturant.I was surprised to see she was employed @ this resturant!..we tired to obtain her name from other employees,all we got was a first name,{dont know if that was even her real name}.we ask to speak to a manager & we were told it was his day off,{sure it was},,we ask for the phone number to that store & was givin a wrong number,which doesnt surprise me!..any ways we will NOT BE STOPPING @ THAT APPLEBEES ANYMORE,if drugs are being used by employees!!they should give drug test to thier employees! | I frequent Applebee's for lunch for the $5.99 lunch menu and convenient location to meet friends (Metcalf Avenue, I435, OPKS). My recent experience will result in finding a new meeting place. The pasta was overcooked and pasty tasting and the bread was missing from my plate. The waiter only asked questions when we placed a bite of food in our mouth and then overcharged for my meal. When I initially inquired he said that was the price even though the menu clearly stated this was a lunch special item. It appeared that he wanted to debate the issue. As I was in a hurry to make a work appointment I paid the $2.00 overcharge. They made an extra $2.00 off this order and have lost a regular patron. In the future, I'll go to the restaurant right next door. |

I have never been treated like this, I thought this was 2010 but I guess discrimination still lives loud and clear. I left at that point, I didn't even want to eat there anymore. | The owner of this Applebees (whom we frequent at least once a month) accused me of being drunk when I asked him to change the music back to the previous song. (Who doesn't like the Spinners 'Rubber Band Man'? (And I was happy, not intoxicated) When I questioned other employees of the establishment, all they could do was roll their eyes. It seems there is a commonplace with this particular owner (Dan, I'm thinking is the name) of the duo and he hung up on me without hearing my entire complaint when I called. I have been in customer service for nearly 20 years including restaraunt service and I know this is NO way to handle a complaint. I will no longer be frequenting this establishment (if at all) and will take our business elsewhere. Being an owner doesn't give you a license to be an ass. |

My family and I religiously ate at Applebee's off Millertown Pike in Knoxville,Tn for years even after a group of loud,trailer park acsent foul mouthed, unruly, too small Cheerleading uniform wearing, lame football playing and a wannabe double dose needing prozac so called mom tried to threaten us with broken bottles because we asked them to quieten down and be respectful of the other people in the restaurant; since the chicken poop manager wouldn't do something about the disturbance. An off duty police office had to jump in their butts to make them get under control almost taking the bottle blonde wannabe washed out cheerleader mom out in handcuffs. The manager just stood there like a b!^&$ That is until I went by to pick up a call in order and had to walk through smoke as thick as clouds because the pickup service closed at 9pm est. When I said something about it to the midget manager while picking up my order, he responded "they shouldn't be smoking in front of the door there's a bench over to the direct left of the door they can smoke on" then he followed me outside and lit a cigarette up with them in front of the door, laughing! I know we are in Tennessee but Applebees knew the mentality of some of the clients in the area when you opened the store! It's your management teams job to ensure ALL customers are served and treated fairly without harm or hinderance by others while on Applebee's property. YOU AND YOUR SO CALLED MANAGEMENT TEAM FAILED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You will never get another dime of my money as long as you continue to employ people that choose not to leaving trailer park or hood rat attitudes at home, instead of bringing it to work. |
