I was diagnosed with breast cancer at the end of July. I have called The American Cancer Society numerous times. All I get is email after email with a number of web sites that I have to navigate or phone numbers I have to call. I had CANCER - I live alone. How was I to follow up on these? Why didnt someone offer to really help me?
I think that your society is highly rated for education and research but your resources are outdated.....I have called and not gotten calls back. Perhaps it is because of this economy and volunteers are not available anymore. The ACS needs to update their web site and not offer resources that are not available. Also, you need to check with the various resources and see if they are still available.
Right? If you dont have CANCER, you should have no problem making phone calls and navigating web sites.
I dont like to complain, but I have gotten absolutely no help from your organization.
