ALBERTSONS IN ROSEBURG NIGHT TIME CLERCKS AND THE NIGHT TIME MANAGER HAVE BAD ATTITUDE AGAINST THE CUSTOMERS THEY DONT WANT ANY BODY TO BUY IN LARGE QUANTITY BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO STOCKED AGAIN. IS THIS THE GOOD BUSINESS?

Been a long-time shopper at Dallas location 4625 Frankford Rd. I've ignored many shortcomings and mishaps at this store until today. Wanted to take advantage of the "Buy 20 items, get $10 off" as advertised in the weekly ad dated 7/11-7/19. Before I began shopping, I first asked one of the checkout clerks (african-american kid) if the sale was still valid. With uncertainty he said "I think so". When I was ready to pay for my groceries, ended up in same kid's checkout line. Register only took off $5 when I repeatedly made sure had 20 items to get $10 off. The girl that bagged the groceries recounted ALL my groceries, referring back to the ad for EVERY item. The woman checker in the next lane (assistant to someone but not a manager) recounted everything SEVERAL times referring back to the ad for EVERY item. Then proceeded to leave the register to do a product check! At that point I apologized to the other people waiting to checkout as over 10 min have already gone by. I told the lady "Now that WE ALL have counted the items, verified them in the ad, clearly it says buy 20, get $10 off, can you just correct it so I can be on my way?" She said she couldn't do it. ALL OF THIS GOING ON WHILE YET ANOTHER "MANAGER" STOOD BY AND WATCHED. I told them to just forget it and went to find the store manager, young hispanic gentleman. I explained the situation to him, he even said "they should have just overrided and corrected the issue" then went on to say he's sorry he couldn't do anything because he just got to the store?!! Some of the workers at this location are incompetent, unconcerned and have extremely poor customer service skills. I had to give 1 start because there's no option for zero stars.

I just recently started shopping at the Fort Collins CO Albertsons and I think they do an amazing job there. I have never had any complaints the past 8 months I have been there. I was reading some of the other complaints that the stores are having. Most of the time it is the customer that is making the other person upset. I work retail and I know that customers are very needy and has to have everything their way. I love the store I go in to and I have never had any problems with the people there. I think they are very nice and friendly and get me in there and out of there. I never have a problem finding help if I need it and I also get great customer service. Just last night I was in there and I am on WIC. The cashier was very friendly as to I have had issues else where with this at some of your competitors. I explained I had WIC and she said no problem with a very happy smile. There started to form a line and she very kindly asked if I wanted to get some more fruits and veggies as I was under on my checks. I told her I was alright and she helped me all the way through. I noticed as I was in line that she had asked every single person if they needed help out and greeted them with a kind smile. Almost every cashier was doing the same thing. I LOVE that store and will continue to keep shopping there. THANK YOU ALBERTSONS!

Getting really tired of the Meat Department specials, 1 for 2, 2 for 3 meat specials and aren't in the registers systems. I end up going to customer service every time to fix the checkers messes! Why can't they be trained or these special ads in their computer fixed. Its annoying. It happens every time. The meat department is also getting lax in packaging meat. The minute you get it home, its either spoiled or smells bad. If this continues, I will go to Smith's

I recently went to Customer Service at the Ridgecrest Store in Rio Rancho, NM to purchase money orders. I want to know why a person is not allowed to use their Debit card for such purchases. Its money coming out of my own personal account. I am not blaming the checker (Phyllis), she was really nice and explained that this was Albertson's Policy. I was not upset at her, but mainly at Albertson's for not allowing customers to be able to do this. Please check with management to see if these rules can be changed. Thank you.

Greetings from the Sunshine state! As a long term employees of Albertsons and can only reflect on the central Florida stores,they have for 20+years treated their employees like garbage.Work you like a slave and for what? No raises for YEARS,cut hours, and eventually unemployment.They reduced or eliminated benefits but more and more work is added to our daily lists.The only store left in central Florida (Orlando area ) is run by an insane tyrant who dogs the employees out and constantly telling everyone its "his" store all the while carrying on with a member of his management while he is married. I personally know people who declined employment and opted for the severence package rather than to work for him.Its very sad as Albertson's used to be an excellent company to work for.

and why do ur stores have your loss prevention workers in california and all over? they all look to smart to even be loss prevention. whats sad they carry no pepper spray or guns or batons or cuffs. how are they suppose to protect me? they cant even go outside to catch a shoplifter.wow? put them in a management position, you have them dressing like management when they should be undercover i dont get it. i feel sorry for them loss prevention workers. they risk their lifes on a daily basis for everyone and you dont let them carry protection. booo on albertsons. you should treat your loss prevention with more respect. if they get killed what? you just move on to next person.

We have recently purchased albertsons brand water bottles.and in rio.rancho, nm.. when u open then it smells like sewer..or.something disgusting..it tastes horrible too. I really hope we do not get sick from this water..does anyone know what this could be? Its not expired until 2014. Hopefully I hear back from management.

I went to my local Albertsons store this morning to buy a phone card for my son. I have never purchased one of these before, So as I was checking out, I asked the lady at the register about the minutes on the card. She assured me there were minutes on it, quickly rang it up, and left the register. I wanted to check before I left, so I quickly read the back of the card. The card had no minutes. It was a card from Tracphone that doubled the minutes you bought. I saw her behind me talking to another employee, told her that it indeed had no minutes, and wanted to exchange it for one that did. She told me there were no refunds on gift cards, so I ask to speak with the manager. The manager told me the same thing, even though I had told her that HER employee ASSURED me there were minutes on the card. I was so upset, I felt like crying. I have shopped at that Albertsons for over 15 years. I can honestly tell you that after this mornings incident, I will be shopping a whole different grocer all together. I have never been treated so badly. I even asked questions before my purchase to make sure I was buying the right item. Shame on you Albertsons for your shotty customer service skills. I hope the $24.00 you ripped me off from me was well worth my buisiness and the buisiness of everyone I know, and anyone who frequents Yelp. FYI, I work in a really busy doctors office right next to your store. It will be my topic of conversation to all. I am a employee at your canyon country store and have been since 2005. I thank GOD EVERY DAY THAT I HAVE A JOB, but this company has gone to shit since the last strike.. they TREAT THERE EMPLOYEES like shit and give them a bullshit contracts with crappy insurance. BUT WHAT DO THEY CARE? while the president and the upper part of this company raise the prices and watch there GREAD of making money at ANY COST and watching thousands of familys loose everything all because they cant pull there heads of out there asses!!!!!!!!!!!! i understand albertsons has to make money, but really laying off 2,500 employees is really going to help???? WHY DONT THE PRESIDENT AND VICE PRESIDENT ect., TRY TAKING A PAY CUT INSTEAD OF LAYING OFF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE AND FAMILYS WHO RELY ON THERE PAY CHECK EACH WEEK JUST TO SURVIVE.. This lay off is wrong getting rid of older employees and keeping new young ones is discrimination. I will never shop here again going to Vons.

I go to the store in Green valley and Sunset Henderson, NV. 89014 Really I can't explain how the cashier has no idea about counting or adding or attitude or, or and when you try to talk to the manager , she has more bad attitude than them just last time I visit 6 mistakes in the receipt for more than $15 and I stay an hour till she find the problem, I just explain and she argue about it they have very polite manager before, and one assistant manager , he is v. polite , but I do not see him any more, and one supervisor, son't see her , one in the deli he is the highest you can't find for every things, not see him any more, all the good polite team gone, and the only staff you keep is ????????? I wish I know them names(the good one's) to let you know how much you losing. the economy is bad already, we don't need that we can spend our dollars in store can appreciate the customer. this store next to another supermarket may be one or two blocks, when some one make a mistake, they catch it right away for a second plus the good polite attitude . I wondering , Is this the cooperation rules they teach them or no one has time for training or no one cares why any one go the prices too high attitude mistakes let you lose more the saving they give you it doesn't deserve even one star Lord have mercy on us

Give me a break! I've been buying your bagged Albertsons cookies for a long time, but the last two times the chocolate chip cookies are so thin that you could read a newspaper and the'res so much oil that it drips when they get to warm. You think that you could fool us by upping the oil to make up the weight to pass for 15 ozs. I thought that you would be more ethical in your practices, us consumers are tired of being abused by corporate greed. I will no longer shop Albertsons, and I live in the founders home town.

Your new manager in Prescott, Az. is got to be the worst manager you have every had. Since you are located downtown, he blocks off his parking lot making everyone in the strip mall loose business. Over the July 4th holiday there is a lot of activities going on downtown before he came and since he came everyone is unhappy that he never asked anyone in the mall if he can close off everyone parkings spaces he just does it. He is trying to run the businesses into the ground. The make a lot of money over the 4th in the mall, last year they lost because he closed the parking lot and no one could come in even to your Albertson store.

The Albertsons in San Diego on Louisiana Street is a disgrace. The product selection is minimal. The deli is lousy. The prices are high and the service is poor. Several other Albertsons in San Diego are beautiful stores, stocked well and have great deli's. I will not be shopping there even though it is 3 blocks from my house.

this store is laying off people and they have a game giving away millions in cash and prizes does not make sense thats bullshit

Your store @ 4850 west craig rd in north las Vegas nv continuously has expired products! I have pulled stuff off your shelves and handed it to employees, returned several items and find it time consuming and inconvenient to shop @ your store! It's illegal to sell expired products an I plan to notify the health dept and the state to advise of this situation cause your store manager could care less! And too add insult to injury when I return stuff I get harassed by the customer service rep! I will NOT be shopping in your store again and hope they shut it down!

I went to store at 112th and Canyon Rd in Tacoma/Puyallup WA to purchase some hamburger chubs (1 and 2lb) I noticed a couple weeks earlier that the store had switched from 75% to 73% burger. I saw the price was 8.99 for 75% - I thought great they have 75% back.. but the chub package said 73%,, huh? I am not going to pay price of 75% for 73% should be lower. So I asked for store director - he came over and said let me check price - came back with a new shelf front tag that said 73% lean but FOR THE SAME PRICE as before.. I asked him if he was nuts - I am not going to believe that 73% is same price as 75%. Told him I would no longer shop there as Safeway was 2 blocks away as was another full service market of comp size. He then followed me up the aisle trying to make a deal of some sort with me - I just ignored him and left the store.. Then filed a complaint with Albertsons Corp office -- smooth move Store Director!!
