lucky in van nuys california should not be close the manager of the veb. and fruit deparment should be let go. that person do not know nothing to do.

Customer service sucked at the glade location in texas. The manager, Laura didn't give a rats ass either. Won't shop here again ever!

For the last six or seven months, I have had an ongoing problem with some of the employees of the store located at 1301 N. Norma St. in Ridgecrest, California. Let me say first that I do not know how or why it all started. I do not know any of the employees personally, and I have been nothing but polite to all who work there. I have been a loyal Albertson's Preferred customer for years, and I spend about $6,000 to $7,000 per year in that store. On one occasion, the Assistant Store Director, Randy, made a "scary-movie face" and fake-lunged at me as I passed him in the aisle. On numerous occasions, the tallish, dark-haired, obese white man who works in the Dairy section physically blocked my access to the dairy case, so that I literally had to reach around him to get to the products I wanted; he did not acknowledge my presence in any way, nor did he budge one inch (he actually comes out from the back of the store as I approach the dairy case and takes his position facing the case). On one occasion, the somewhat diminutive African-American man who works in the Produce section walked from one end of the store in my direction as I pushed my cart from the other end of the store towards the Checkout area, as he smiled and stared me down; he then whispered a few words to the Checker and returned to the Produce section. On one occasion, a tall, slender, young, African-American, hearing-impaired man hovered nervously and very close to me in several areas of the store as I shopped; I recognized him as a Courtesy Clerk who had bagged and loaded my groceries for me many times in the past (at one point he appeared to be counting egg cartons, while at other times he seemed to be shopping for himself). On one occasion, a man I recognized from a previous sighting as Paul, the Store Director, appeared wearing a baseball cap and clutching a piece of paper as he hovered near me in the Produce section; I believe he was pretending to be a shopper with a grocery list but without a shopping cart or basket. On a subsequent occasion (September 10, 2012), I noticed Paul talking to Randy in the Produce section. Paul had a shopping cart, which he proceeded to push throughout the store, following me as I shopped (I made no mention of this in my previous correspondence with Customer Service, because I thought this would cost Paul his job when the real instigator of all this harassment is Randy; but, having thought about it, I am now convinced that Paul's boss approved this action as he had earlier approved Paul's second phone call to me (see below)). On one occasion, a young adult female Courtesy Clerk started unloading the shelf of my shopping cart after I told her I would empty that part; when I repeated what I had said, she finally stopped, blushed, and returned to her station, wearing what I can best describe as a guilty expression (I use two credit cards when I shop at Albertson's: one to pay for the groceries my mom wants -- she is 80 years old, crippled with arthritis and can no longer shop for herself, so I shop for her and she reimburses me -- and the other to pay for a few items for myself, which I keep separate on the shelf of my shopping cart); on another occasion, a Checker with some free time did exactly the same thing. On several occasions, Randy has announced on the PA system "All departments, code green" within seconds of my entering the store. I know what code green means, but it strikes me as more than mere coincidence that he announces it every time I enter the store at around 1:30 p.m. After I complained to Customer Service via email in early September about some of these incidents, Paul called to assure me that he would fix the problem. The next time I shopped at that store, things were worse than ever and Paul was hovering in his baseball cap; so I complained to the District Manager, who said he would fix the problem. The next morning Paul called me again and complained that I was making false allegations against him because he does not wear a hat at work; as it turns out, the District Manager was listening to my and Paul's conversation without my knowledge, and even though I did not "admit" to any "false" allegations (as if I knew whether Paul would even be in the store that day, and/or that the surveillance cameras had mysteriously "broken," which is what the District Manager suggested had happened, and/or that the store's surveillance tapes were not saved even if the cameras had been working), the District Manager clearly did nothing, in retrospect, to correct the problem I have been having with this store and did not follow up with me as to why he did not take any action aside from eavesdropping on my conversation with Paul. I subsequently complained via Customer Service email to the Area Vice President, Jacque Morris, about the District Manager's inaction. A man responded by telephone, stating that he was "Jackie [ph.] Morris of Albertson's" and that I should talk with Paul again about the situation when I shop there on September 24, and that he would arrange for Paul to come out and introduce himself after I enter the store around 1:30 p.m. -- in other words, back to square one. Later I emailed Customer Service to get Jacque Morris' job title and they replied that Morris is the Area Vice President and that all District Managers "report to her." I have since asked Customer Service, twice, to tell me whether Morris is a man or a woman; they still have not responded. (I am not saying that I think Jacque Morris is a woman, only that Customer Service did not respond when I repeatedly asked them to clarify their use of the word "her".) Albertson's Customer Service should have documentation of many of the above incidents (they did assign me a new case number soon after my discussion with the District Manager; I asked them why the new case number, but got no response). I will no longer be shopping at either of the Albertson's stores in Ridgecrest (nor at any other Albertson's store), but I do think it is important that you know about my experiences at this particular location.

I went to pick up a prescription today, 9/21/12. The young lady named Ana, a tech, was very pleasant. I asked the costs of my Lipitor/generic is Atorvastatin 10mg. which was written for #90. The cost was 5l.57. I asked why it was more than most of the medications at 6.00. She was not sure, so she told me she would call the ins. co. and find out. In the meantime, the pharmacist working that day comes over and enters the conversation. She was in my face, and in a condescending manner stated "she is calling the ins. co. to get an answer to your question about the cost of the medication." I let her know she sounded very snotty and to return to her work at the computer where she was filling prescriptions. I called my husband and he said it was still more than 6.00 per prescription, so I told the young lady Ana, I understood and that it was a 3 tier drug. Will not be using your pharmacy again, although the store manager Eli Jennings, whom I knew from another store 30 years ago, is a very smart and pleasant person, and also everyone at that store has always been very congenial, except for today. I usally shop at Publix and Albertsons. The head pharmacist there is very nice, I'm sorry I can't recall her name. I am sorry that so many of your stores have closed, but hopefully your corporation will survive the times we live in today. Very Cordially Yours, Joanne Graham/846 Victoria Terrace, Altamonte Springs, Florida, 32701 This store #4304.

I just sent an email about the pharmacist at store #4304. The young lady's name is Julie Polick.

ceric is avery rude person that i ever worked with a alberstons he has no respct four anyone that the front end and he should fried from the store

Albertson in Everett (WA)on Evergreen Way is terrible. Manager does not know how to manage the store. There is constant problem with the prizes at the cash register, they advertise sale but the cash register is not adjusted to lower prizes. This is how this store constantly scam customers. It happened to me several times, I will never shop at Albertsons again.

I have for years been a coupon clipper, and with recent "upgrades" in couponing stores that offer customer loyalty cards through a separate company "SAVING STAR" allows you to link coupons for items you already buy to your card. So, when you then swipe your card you receive additional cash payouts (like reimbursements) from "SAVING STAR". My family is now stationed in El Paso, TX and an associate at one of the stores has informed me that Albertson's stores in TEXAS as a whole do not offer nor accept frequent shopper cards!!! What are families who rely on those additional digital savings supposed to do?!?! Also, let me tell you that after my visit today that this associates claim that "instant savings are reflected in the prices" is simply bull.... Albertson's has officially lost me as a customer, and I would have to say that anyone who is a coupon clipper like myself...well you know the drill....bye bye Albertson's hello Walmart!! I'll put up with the crowds any day and twice on Sunday to avoid those prices!!

I sometimes buy a few items at the Albertson's on Coors in Albuquerque for the convenience when I go to my branch bank in the store, even though I know the prices are high. The people who work there are all very nice, so whoever hires them knows his business. However, I will be more careful about shopping there from now on. On 8/23 I bought a 1.4 oz. package of Knorr's French Onion Soup mix for $2.49. As I hadn't bought this product for a long while, I thought inflation had really taken its toll on it. Today I bought the identical product at Walmart for $1.52! That is really an outrageous mark-up, so anyone on a budget had better beware.

Why so many complaints about the Wish Big Win Big Sweepstakes? I'm just as disappointed as the rest of you not to have won anything playing the game again this time but don't you realize that this game is a gamble??? The rules are clearly defined but the odds of winning are pretty slim. I like that they guaranteed a million dollar winner this time and think that was smart. So come on, the key is not to spend more money than you need to on groceries and hope to win something. If you do win, awesome. If not, that's just the way the ball bounces. Check out their website. They're not intentionally ripping anyone off. They're making money but they aren't cheats.

My local Albertsons in 92595 is selling chicken and meat from the deli that is a reduced price and must be eaten quickly. Sometimes when I buy it, primarily the chicken, it is already turning and is sticky and smells rotten. If I rinse it that helps. But this has happened to me when I buy it and use it in the same day. This happens more frequently as time passes. Do you really want people to get sick???

The store on Chamber and 18th has the worst racist employees ever. Eugene OR. The Customer service agent an old sour women short and stubby is just the worst.

I have been shopping at the Albertsons in Dana Point, Ca for about 7-8 yrs.I have never experienced worse customer service than I have at this store. I work in customer service and if i treated anyone as rudely as their cashier Karina treated me, I would not have a job. I have never been one to complain so it is quite out of character for me to even me here typing but I was treated so poorly today by her - it was the final straw- I called the store and spoke to the ass. store director "Will" so I hope this is addressed with her...but going by the fact that he didnt ask me my name or my ph. number and seemed quick to defend her Im sure it was a waste of time. I will be calling this corp. number

I have a $2.00 off bakery coupon I received in the mail from Albertson's. So I go to my Las Vegas Albertson's on West Charleston abd buy a loaf of bread. I get to the end of the check-out after a looooong wait for 1 customer ahead of me, then I hear...the coupon we mailed to you is NO GOOD...is INVALID. The loaf of bread does not quaify as bakery.... Albertson talk..."We Got you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Albertson's likes to play games...well I can play the game too. Never again will I spend my money at Albertson's. Joe Average American

Mary Mallory at the Prescott Valley store has got to be the worst front end manager & Albertsons employee ever! Her baggers (except 1 older guy) stand around, yawn in your face, don't work & are rude to the customers because she doesn't care & isn't a good manager. She is extremely rude to customers & employees alike. She campaigned for town council at the store (very annoying!) & after the election, didn't care about the "little people" anymore. She appears to have a serious personality disorder. I quit going there after many years because I just want food not somebody's personal mental health issues dumped on me. I am not the only one who thinks this way. After Mary Mallory screamed (yes, screamed!) at a disabled employee in front of the entire store and gave me an angry look because I was laughing with another checker, it was just too much so I never went back. Other people I know left as well for the same reason: Mary Mallory. Safeway is much better. Nobody screams there except very small children.

I live here in Clearwater Fl & everytime i go to the Albertson's here there's only 2 cashier's open & 10 to 15 people in each line . I dont wanna go to the store to buy food & have to wait in line a half an hr . And there all just as slow as a turtle . There is a Publix kiddie corner from this location & they are alot more expensive than ur store but from here on out im a publix customer . Aleast there I can get in & out in minutes . A(Good)There is 1 Black cashier she is a sweetie always has a smile .

I forgot to mention when I moved here a yr ago I almost grabbed your BIG eared service rep & dragged his ass over the counter & beat his smart ass .

Honestly, what direction is this company taking? Thruoght the last few years this company has made amateur decisions that resulted in record braking failure!

My son has worked for you over 25 years and recently go fired from the Wylie, Tx. store. I don't yet know all the particulars but making the money he was making as a Grocery Manager and just having got a raise I don't see how you can say he wasn't doing his job. His immediate boss statement was "I didn't expect it to go this far" tells me "something stinks in Denmark". He is 43 years old and is now scrambling to stay afloat until he can find another job. I guess loyalty is not a high priority with Albertsons.
