Pissed in South Carolina

I have been a good customer for almost two years now. I have a laptop which is halfway paid off, and a ps3 that I have only had for a few months. When I started, I informed them I was a temp and payments were a little sketchy for me since my hours and amounts change often. However, even if a little late, I have been making the payments, sometimes more than twice a month. Got my taxes, and paid for a full month ahead for both items.. Now they are coming to my house once a day, everyday... calling 4 times a day everyday..... and they have started calling threatening to send the sheriff to my door... I'm getting sick of this.. I have a very old lady living with me, one fighting cancer, and a husband with PTSD..... I don't need all the harrassing from aaron's... They never had a problem with me, until a month and a half ago... Needs to stop... Don't go to aaron's if you have other rent a center options!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Rude customer service

I cannot believe how rude and disrespectful Aaron's employees are. I spoke to a incompetent young man who told me that I could not make a payment on Sunday because their closed which I understand. But then he catches an attitude and states that it has to be paid by Friday and if we don't their going to pick up the appliance until the $87 is paid and they'll return it.Now they didn't want to recognize that all other payments were paid two months in advance . And he couldnt wait two days when I get paid wow!

mold in fridg

i got my fridge back with mold in the freezer and all lumberton texas aarons could say was sorry not our fault it was sent back like that from the repair dept. so i will never deal with aaron again if that is their attitude. I will clean it as best a i can but these will not happen again. there is this little thing called word of mouth

I have dealt with aarons for a couple of rentals and had minimal problems but this takes the cake or should i say fungus. They picked up my fridge a month ago, we called since they have not called and the fact they took 2 months to fix a riding lawnmower we rented and never fixed the problem, anyway they said it had been fix and they were having trouble with getting hold of us because they didn't have a valid number for us. But when they came to get it they had no problem calling us to let us know they were picking it up. It came backed shrink wrapped from service. Now why wouldn't they unwrap it to make sure all was there and ok and then deliver it. I'm so pissed off i will never rent from Aaron again. if i need something i will save up or do without . The lumberton store is the worst place to deal with but i assure you i wont have that problem again. I'm sure like the store nothing will be done. Oh yes, did i fell to mention they would not take blame but put it on the service dept who worked on it.THANKS FOR NOTHING! Just remember the old saying" word of mouth"

took advantage of my girlfriend

in Fort Gratiot Michigan, My girlfriend went to Aarons to get a t.v and end up getting a t.v stand a blu ray player and a sound bar that they they told her everything would be new out the box when they get there..they show up in a couple of days like they said but nothing came out of boxes when it got there.they forgot all the remotes and the 3d glasses which took two hours to bring back everything was dusty the stand had chips in it from finger prints ever where it looked like it was used we told them to come and get it they had attitudes about it like they didn't want it to its horrible service and horrible merchandise.....I would rather go threw rent a center........

harassment

Me and my wife owned a living room set from Aaron's. After owning it for a year and a half, we had some financial troubles and had to give it back. Recently we've been getting letters in the mail stating err power them the remainder of the money or their going to take its to court. What the hel Is that about? Their saying we didn't follow the term of the contract. We had only 6 months left. So we're reporting Aaron's to the FDC, because this harassment it's ridiculous

food safety not there concern

I rented a refrigerator my refrigerator was going out was not keeping food at temperature level that it needed to be at.the GM came to my house and opened up my refrigerator and reset it on the inside and tell me that this should work and left it proceeded not to steal work my food with kept 45 degrees.I was at the store at 9 o'clock in the morning the general manager informed me I will have my refrigerator by 2 o'clock then I have somebody calling me at my house at telling me that I did not have a work order to deliver a refrigerator so therefore I didn't get my refrigerator until 7 o'clock at night and it was the two managers from the store that delivered it and I had to throw away about $50 worth of food because it had spoiled they do not take care of their customers all they want to do is make a sale but they do not stand behind their customers huntsville, al.

Horrible customer service

We had purchased a full living room set, paid monthly on it. After a couple months, they started calling a day before the payment was even due, threatening to come pick it up! They even showed up a few times at my door...before the payment was due! Eventually we decided being harrassed was worth it and asked them to come get it! Two months later they finally came and got it and now are being threatened to be sued because they say we owe them money!! They should've been here two months ago to get the furniture like we asked! And the reps in Elkins WV are horrible at customer service!! Rude and don't listen! I don't even want to give them one star!

I am so highly upset right now with AARONS!!! Me and My husband purchased the 60" Samsung LED TV. We received the TV on Friday (yesterday). We took out the holders that was at the bottom of the box and slid the box off the top to find that the TV SCREEN IS CRACK at the top. Now mind you when they took the TV off the truck it was not strapped at all.. I have a gathering today at 3:00. I Hired someone to come and hang the TV.. I called AARONS and received the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I will NEVER go back to AARONS again. ONCE I GET MY REFUND, I AM DONE..

faulty equipment

I just had a Riding Lawn Mower delivered, I was told when the unloaded it that it wasn't running right that is spit and sputtered, I put new gasoline in it and started to mow. and the mower will not run on full throttle, you have to use low throttle and when you engage the PTO to operate the blades mower stalls no power to operate blades, That was from the ALuts Oklahma store I am not very happy now I have to wait for them to order another mower

they dont know nothing about what they offer in the sore. they dont know anything about computer. they give you me haif working computer. comservice not good at all sucks!

Buying a laptop

The store in Tulsa OK, on 51st Street, they are rude, and their practices are dishonest.. I have in the past bought laptops from Aarons in Memphis, TN and had a great experience. I asked for a new out of the box laptop on Mar 13, 2013... I was given a hard time.. they had to order a new one.. no one called me that it was in, I finally went in the store March 28th, I asked for the money I paid on the 13th be put back on my debit card, and they would not.. I was not given copy of my agreement until i demanded it on the 13th... the payment schedule has not been updated as promised.. it shows a payment due on 4/1/13 instead of 5/1/13. they said that the regional office only can do that... In Memphis the store do not have a problem updating... It appears that shopping in your stores in Tulsa, OK that it is ok to cheat the public.. I expect to receive an updated copy of the payment schedule

i am a good custermer since 2008, i have bought many items and paid them off , since jason left i have had nothing but bad experice after another, none of them know whats going on, every month i pay my bill on time , 3 weeks go by , they are at my door. i live on a very small street like 10 houses on it , i do not appreicate them coming to my door. i am not going to take this i am on meds, for anixity, this is not good for me , i reported them to better business, but thats a waste of time it takes so long,i need to take to somebody and not that store they SUCK

You don't deserve a rating

Aaron's store in Dalton, Georgia apparently advocates poor customer service because a member of the management staff there named CATHY seems to utilize business time harassing others instead of doing her job. Sad for you Aaron's...you will lose and continue to lose customers when you have employees focused on their personal lives over taking care of Aaron's business

Horrible employee's

The store on Taylorsville rd. in Louisville needs to let go of their employee's and get new ones in that do there job right. A year ago we rented a stove that should have been brand new but yet we got a used one. That one breaks and Aaarons brings me a beat up stove for replacement. Everytime I talk to the employee's to get my new stove they give me attitude and refuse to help me. I would really like to have some customer service and get my stove in good working order.

I don't know about the furniture,but I know that aarons does a great job of letting some of their regionals start relationships with their sales manager just to promote them here in texas.

I always pay my payment on time. The store manager in Wabash, Indiana is very rude with me on the phone anytime I talk with them. I pay them every two weeks on my pay day they say that I am late. I am not late. I have contract.. Its set up semi monthly on my pay date. I had to threaten to give the funiture back and then they said oh we will give you two weeks free.. Guess what I don't want your funiture. Come and get it. I would rather go through Rent a Center anytime and day. I have always went through them. I don't know I choose to go through them all of a sudden. I am sorry I very displeased with Aarons.

employee disappointments

I have bought alot so far and I plan on buying alot more of there stuff they have helped me just fine getting what I need. I do agree on the employees they hire are not professional at times at all there bad about trying to call before the day is up when they close at 8, 9pm at nite. Like for the arrons company to pre sceen better who they hire with wrong attitudes.

Worst workplace

I have worked for Aaron for almost two years and the store manager degrades the employees , customers, and also sexual harasses the females that work there. I called regional manager and corporate and the only result I got was that he knows that he was out of line. That's BS I have dealt with this for two years and continuously complained to management . This is the worst company to work for.
