This store has the worst customer service I have ever had to deal with. I would rather rent from rent-a-center and pay higher prices than to deal with this foolishness. I have been renting to own a laptop from this location for about a 1 year. I have one m...ore payment left. The raggedy computer has broken twice and I have broght it back to the store to have it fixed. This most rent time that it ha broken I was told the computer would get sent to Maryland to Aaron's service center and would be back in two weeks. Ok fine. They gave me a piece of crap loner that is about as big as my hand. I was told by the sale manager (Elliot) the laptop would be back in couple of days. I called back and guess what no laptop. I then was told by the store manager (Anthony) that it would be back in two weeks. I then call back today only to be told that it was sent to Dell and Dell wouldn't fix it so they sent it back and now it has to go to Aaron's service center in Maryland which is going to take two MORE weeks! All of a sudden no managers are available to speak with and the girl on the won't provide a coporate number. I told them to keep the piece of CRAP and I will buy a brand new. Don't ever rent anything from this store. I should have stayed away!!!!

I was called last week by the General Manager, Leyland, from the Aaron's store in Altoona, Pennsylvania, Park Hills plaza about scheduling an interview. The interview was scheduled for yesterday at 11:00 AM. I arrived at 10:50 AM and waited a few minutes to meet with Leyland. Once Leyland came out to talk with me, he informed me that there was a problem. Leyland stated he did not have my information because he was not able to get it off his computer because it was lost. Leyland wanted me to reschedule my interview and complete the application process on-line again. Leyland knew in advance he did not have my information for the interview but he failed to provide me any advance notice of the issue. I ended up driving 2 hours round trip to find out there was no interview. Leyland then wanted me to repeat the trip again the next day. I called Leyland later that afternoon and informed him that I decided that I was no longer interested in working for Aaron's. I realized that I did not want to work for such an unprofessional General Manager or for such an organization that would put an individual like Leyland in a management position. I have never seen such an unprofessional company in my 20 plus years of employment. I hope something is done to address this situation and tp improve the professionalism of the company. This is letter is posted by an individual with more professionalism and maturity that your General Managers. I am sorry you lost the opportunity to hire a highly qualified candidate such as myself.

hi i live in orlando florida and i rented a laptop computer i paid for it and a few months ago it was stolen by my son he took off with it i called arrons and told them that it was stolen being that an employee told me when i first rented it said iwas not liable needless to say i am and they want money for something that was stolen form a son who wont talk to me or try to pay aarons threatens to put me in jail calls all my family and my business is out there im real disgusted why would i call police on my own family he is no where to be found aarons are bullies and i will be reporting this bad behavior and real snotty i tried but what can i do

I wish there was a law against people treating customers poorly because if there was aaron's would be shut down. It's a shame that it's more important to your business not to have to train new management and keep the ones you have that treat customers like trash. I am a business owner and I am glad I have high standards for the way I and my employees treat my clients and that is why I have repeat business and all my business now comes from word of mouth. You people discussed me and by the looks of all these letters you discuss alot of other customers. I will never deal with your company again and will see to it that as many people as I can talk to and spread the word to never do business with your store. Thanks for nothing Cathi Glasco For anyone reading this Rent a Center is a bit higher but there customer service is so much better I dealt with them for 20 years and was very happy. So much for trying to give a home town company my business.

We have bought many items from Aaron's,, and this up right W/D is the WORST! I have had the worst cust service EVER. I sent the washer in a little after we bought it and it came back STILL broke. They kept it for WEEKS. Now the store manager wont tell me where their service warehouse is.. to where I can speak to the manager there. Anyway.. I sent the washer off again,,, they kept it for over o month!!! Went to return it,, and BAM,, the door was still broke on it!!!!!!!!!!!!! They never even read the problem on the work order!!! I sent it back in again.. Now if it does not come back fixed,, I will get a lawyer and the LEMON LAW will be in effect in this case!

NEVER WILL I RECOMMEND ANYONE FROM AARONS. They ruined my new floor, and when I spoke with the manager about it, he treated me like I ruined their floor. He is the worst customer service person that I have ever delt with. I asked for corperates number and he refused to give it to me, said he would have someone call me and hung up on me. I bought a new home and made the mistake of renting from Aarons, SO IF YOU READ THIS SAVE YOUR MONEY OR GO SOMEWHERE PEOPLE TREAT YOU LIKE A CUSTOMER!! horrible horrible place, should have read your reviews, now I have $2500 worth of damages to my new house and NOBODY to step up and take the blame or fix the problem. The only person in that entire store who did anything positive was Krissy, so good job to her. Everyone else needs fired!

I purchased a living room suite from the Aarons in Newberry about three and a half weeks ago. When moving the furniture in they scratched my living room floor up pretty bad as well as chipped the furniture leg and side table. The did realize they did it and did say they would compensate for it. However I have not seen the check yet to replace it. I will be making the first payment on it this week but i am not happy about that. I should not have to pay them until I am paid for my to have my floor replaced. While they have been very nice at the store I think it's time that I am reimbursed for the loss.

Well as soon as I get this tv paid im done. I had a fire and they gave me a deal on a living room set and beds Well needless to say the couch did not last and I have made my payments on it for nothing.I have lost all the money due to being cheaply made the legs were only stapled on with plastic. So what im saying is i paid for JUNK. I called and told them I was returning it and they said find a truck and haul it up here. Wow what a business... I have also went through 3 recliners that lasted only till they were paid off.. I had a dryer that we paid off and it malfunctioned and caught my home on fire... Wow lose a home over a dryer from aarons. Well I will never refer this company to no one.

I am in agreement with all the dissatisfied customers. Aaron will harrass you for a payment and when you need service on their broken furniture they keep promising to send someone out. They are aweful! They need to be reported to the BBB. They need to be put out of business.

The Cahokia, Illinois office of Aaron's Rental is aweful! They have changed manager's about 7 times since I have been dealing with them. They will harrass you for a payment and when you need them to service their broke down appliances they will not follow through. I rented a stove and refrigerator from them the fridge was brand new and the icemaker stopped working on it within 3 months. I have yet for them to fix it or trade it in. Just don't rent anything from them.

Hello, I used to work for Aaron's and sadly enough, customers are unable to price match because the only competitor is RAC and both inventories are different. Aaron's furniture is NOT brand name at all what they do is...they'll buy a couch or dresser or something from a brand name company and then they build there own to make it look like a brand name item, All of the furniture is Aaron's brand cause they made it. Also the customer service problems are everywhere when it comes to Aaron's....Thats why I don't work there cause I'm an honest person. Also when you rent from a rental store whether it be Aaron's or Rent-a-center...All products are sold without a Manufacturer's Warranty cause both places buy products that are discontinued or they will void the warranty by doing there own repairs, Also if you rent something...make sure everything is there that will make it work or you will get stuck buying it. I'll never do business at either one.

Called aarons to come and get the bedroom set that they broke when they was setting it up. They told me that they would be at my house the next day at noon never showed up. Didn't here from them til a month later and they entered my home and was being very forceful with me. I asked them to leave til my husband came home. They refused. Im 9 months preg with a 3 year old. Who gets forceful with a preg women and is able to keep there job. And why was the preg woman told she was in t he wrong by the regional manager? Aarons you suck.!!!!! So much for your family ran business.

Hello I am renting from an Aaron's in Sarasota Florida, and I have been a customer at Aaron's for 2 1/2 yrs. Had an acct that I paid in full in Gainesville Ga..Anyway I am completely disgusted with the lack of professionalism, and their inability to work out an agreement with a loyal customer...I am in a bit of a bind financially at the moment and asked for a deferment and was dealt with in a rude manner, over $43.00.. Now I am losing a bed that I need and a computer that I also need for business purposes because they are picking them up today 7/18/2011.. Is there anything that can be done to help me? I will NEVER set foot in another Aarons again. I can believe what scam artists these people are. In february I "leased" a micro-fiber sectional couch "valued" at 1600 dollar. I put 500 down and made 2 payments. In late march early april we had a friend over who sat down on the couch which fell to the floor. Thats right the bottom panel completely detached from the arm and feel to the floor. We then found out the support for the couch was particle board. Aarons told us they would fix it which they did, what a joke that is, they did the crappiest job at that is is no longer even level. We decided due to the poor quality of the couch we no longer wanted it and tried to work a deal with aarons which we could trade it in and move the money we had already paid. The manager at the local store was a complete b*tch for lack a of a better word and pretty much told us we caused the couch to break by abusing it. Really lady after 2 months. So I contacted the BBB with no luck. Aarons would not budge to work with us at all. So I went even higher and called the owner of the franchise. While working with his assistant we came to an agreement that I could pick another set and they would move the money over. That day i went in picked out another set and went home. The next day they came and took pictures of the couch. I got a call later that day telling me that had retracted their decision and that due to the poor quality the couch was in ,all the rips and stains, they would only offer me 240 because they woudlnt even get that out of it. For the record there is not one stain on this couch and the only "tear" is where the nails are popping out the back of the couch. I just started a daycare last month and Aarons is using that as a way to con me out of the money I put in to this pos. I am in awe of the way I have been treated there and as I said before will NEVER use their services again. Please people don't waste your money their it is a complete scam.

Aarons is known for that kind of disadvantage i rented from them as well in 2007 had troubles since if your late reminder to all aarons customers they will ruin your credit report i had that happen to me and my husband credit i had rented a refridgerator and a computer and a washer and dryer i sent back the washer and dryer and the refridge when we moved in 2010the morons ruined my credit telling the three major credit reporters. They said i was late and damaged items that i rented. That was not true i had to re call the office in Ga many times and had to take iy up with the Ceo of aarons himself the stores across the usa are managed by self owned owners that report to aarons they are suppose to be creidit free and it is not they use credit against you many times they ruin credit for all that rented from them they want you to buy instead of sending it back to the store. i did that i rented it for a while and sent it back the offices have your information up to 6 months before removing it they claim you did not pay and have the item when the item was sent back to the storesand the account was closed out byt he store manager. they lie and you need to be on your game about things with these stores or they will ruin your chances to rent anything in your state they will damage your credit for sure they lie from day one Three major credit scores are lied to by aarons be sure you read your credit report and complain if you see aarons on your credit report they are not suppose to use confidential information against u what so ever.

1 star-poor service is not the word. Aaron's have hired unprofessional people to service their clients. My husband and I have leased purchased a house full of furniture and several computers. This last lease purchased was a ex large screen tv and a dell computer. The dell computer has been down for the eight to nine months that we have had it. It was brought into the store for repair and the store clerk erased all of the software from the hard drive. We have not been able to get the cpu working. We came into the store at Main St, made our payment and Shawn said that someone would pickup the cpu for repairs. A loaner was to be brought. My husband had to bring in our cpu and picked up the loaner that can not be accessed due to password violation. Shawn, the store manager told me that my husband was given the wrong loaner and that Shawn would bring the correct loaner and pick up the bad loaner. Shawn has never surfaced, he was called and never returned my call. I have gone online to complain and am not receiving any help. Your commericals are false, lies and untruth. I want my repaired cpu or another 'new' cpu. Also, the balance owed is one payment and We want that payment absorbed. We are waiting on the regional manager, Shawn to call regarding our problem. Aaron's is not the reputable and respectful company that is advertised on tv. Customer service is not one of the companys profile for good service. I will not lease purchase nothing else from Aarons and will advise others to seek service, elsewhere. 904-7688152.

I purchased a 60" LG Flat Screen TV from Arron's and in about a week and a half the TV went out. The TV was brand new out of the box when it was delivered. The day it went out, My wife and I was leaving the house and turned the TV off. Upon returning home, I sat on the couch and attempted to turn on the TV using the remote and it wouldn't power up. I notified the store where I purchased it from, informing them of the problem. They came and picked up the TV and brought us a loaner TV, a big bulky TV. I was initially told that maybe a power surge caused the TV to go out. Two and a half weeks later my 1st month payment was due and I went in the store and made the payment, I asked the sale's clerk about the return of the TV and was told again that it was a power surge and that it may be returning the following Friday when the truck comes in. Well come Friday, I had to call the store just to be told that the TV didn't come in on the truck but it will diffently be back the next Friday. Well Friday has arrived and once again, no call from the store. So I called and was told that I the TV was not back. However, I was informed that a panel on the inside of the TV was broken and that their delivery guys couldn't have done it. After speaking with a District Manager I was told that he was told by the company that the damage was Customer Abuse, that maybe the screen was punched or something was thrown into it. However the screen wasn't damaged on the surface. As I explained to the Manager, the TV was working fine when we,(My Wife and I) left the house. I also explained that there are no kids in my house so there was no chance that anything was thrown at the TV or punched. Well he insisted that his delivery guys couldn't have damaged the TV and that the he could replace the TV with a previously rented TV. Keep in mind, that when I rented this TV, I was told that these TV's were brand new and had just gotten in the store and hadn't been placed on the floor yet. So if that's true, they're telling me that they can replace it with a previously rented one and it has been just one month since these TV's got in the store, get real. I honestly believe if any damage was caused to the screen to the point that cause the panel inside to break it was done during the delivery and pick up process and No, the delivery guys are not going to admit to any wrong doing that might cause them pay reduction or job lost with todays job market but don't go blaming the customer.

I will like to say that Arrons in EDISON NJ is the worst i will never rent from them again that FIRST off.... they change people ever time I go in there its a new person. That dont know wat the hell they are doin that place is a MESS and it was the worst mistake i ever made they really need to get there act together if they want to stay in bussiness im tellin cause alot of people are tired of there LIES...... i will never rent from ARRON"S again!!!!! thank god im done wit them yey... they cant beat me for more money.... i wish i could give them no star WORST COMPANY ever omg!!!!!
